Benefits of Machine Learning for Kids
Tumblr media
Introducing kids to machine learning (ML) gives up a world of limitless opportunities. Early exposure to ML ideas helps children develop critical technical skills as well as priceless cognitive qualities. The ability of machine learning to improve problem-solving abilities in children is one of its main advantages. Through practical projects and exercises, kids develop their ability to analyze data, spot trends, and come up with creative solutions. This encourages creativity and critical thinking, giving them the confidence to take on obstacles in the real world. Moreover, ML promotes cooperation and teamwork. Children learn to effectively communicate, exchange ideas, and capitalize on each other's skills as they collaborate on ML projects. This cooperative setting fosters a sense of belonging and assistance among individuals. Additionally, Machine Learning for Kids fosters a love of learning and curiosity. Children get fascinated by the world around them and thirst for knowledge beyond the classroom as they investigate ML algorithms and applications. All in all, machine learning for kids is not just a technical skill; rather, it is a catalyst for holistic development, providing their minds with the tools they need to thrive in a constantly changing world.

@pingpong_robot PingPong is a single modular robot platform. Each Cube has BLE 5.0 CPU, battery, motor and sensors. By combining Cubes and Links, the user is able to build any robot model they want within several minutes. @bigheart_asia and I were very impressed with these little robots. Asia and I are thinking about adding these to our robotics Christmas List! Are you listening Santa 🎅 Big shoutout to our friend @namko_robatix for demonstrating how these cute little cubes work! - - - - @andystechgarage #robotics #coding @mitscratchteam #scratch #edu #stemkids #stemforkids #makerfaire @makekorea @makerfaire #stemeducation #codingheroes #roboticschallenge #pingpongrobot #sensors #learncoding #scratchcoding (at Busan, South Korea) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4HYq2lFDej/?igshid=1sgd09lk8l0tj

Block Diagram of Computer System For Kids
Tumblr media
Block Diagram of Computer System: Imagine a computer as a big puzzle made up of smaller pieces, each with its own special job. Let's break it down into these main blocks:
Input Devices: These are like the ears and eyes of the computer. They take information from the outside world and bring it into the computer. Examples include keyboards, mice, touchscreens, and microphones.
Central Processing Unit (CPU): Think of the CPU as the brain of the computer. It's super smart and does all the thinking and calculations. When you click on something or type on the keyboard, the CPU figures out what to do next.
Memory: Just like our own memory, computers need a place to store information temporarily. This is where memory comes in. It's like the computer's short-term memory, holding onto things while it's working on them.
Output Devices: Once the computer has processed information, it needs a way to show the results. Output devices do just that. They take the information from the computer and display it for you to see or hear. Examples include monitors, speakers, and printers.
Storage: This is like the computer's long-term memory. It stores all the information the computer needs even when it's turned off, like your favorite games or pictures.

The Great Salt Lake Salt Flats at Saltair
Let me begin here with one of my newfound favorite places to visit on planet earth, The Great Salt Lake Salt Flats at Saltair with is a short drive from the Salt Lake City airport on Insterate 80.
Upon arriving at Saltair I noticed this massive building that looked like a temple. According to the locals, it used to be known as the cursed Coney Island of the West.
Exploring here is truly an exciting experience. I recommend that you dress accordingly. Luckily we came prepared with an extra pair of shoes for the occasion and we have some sun protection readily available. When I followed the narrow path down to the salt flats I was amazed and shocked also. It felt and sounded like I was walking on crunchy potatoe chips. The view was amazing though with a few wet pools of salt suspended in water at this extreme environment. The sky was amazing as if someone painted it pastels and soft colorful hues. I recommmend visiting here if you are anywhere near Salt Lake City. I also recommended that you bring along some water or a CamelBak! It is a great learning experience that can prompt great STEM infused discussions about chemistry, geology and about desert ecosystems.
Did you know that salt is present in vast quantities in seawater, where it is the main mineral constituent?Salt lakes form when the water flowing into the lake, containing salt or minerals, cannot leave because the lake is endorheic. The water then evaporates, leaving behind any dissolved salts and thus increasing its salinity, making a salt lake an excellent place for salt production. High salinity will also lead to a unique halophilic flora and fauna in the lake in question; sometimes, in fact, the result may be an absence or near absence of life near the salt lake yet there is life present; extremophiles. Stay tuned for more about my adventures in Utah.

You probably hear a lot about antioxidants and how good they are for our bodies. But what do they actually do? What is oxidation and why does oxidation happen? You can find answers to all questions above in this article. And even better, you can make your own oxidation experiment 🧪 with simple kitchen ingredients. So grab some apple 🍎 and lemon 🍋, and let’s explore oxidation!
