Hi!! thanks to you and your threads i finally manifested my sp after (wait for it…. this will be long!!!)

3 years of separation and 1 year of no contact!!!!!!!!!!!!

let this me a reminder to anyone out there struggling or thinking time matters. i was in such a lack state for years and had horrible things happen between sp and i but im telling you i took a healthy way to do this and remembered theres nothing i can do to “make” it happen. i reread so many of your threads and read edward art series from a new set of eyes and decided to calmly shift my state ONCE without the expectation of perfection, making something happen, waiting for the 3D, etc (all of which I did unfortunately for a year and a half and never manifested anything “big”) i just shifted my state FOR me 100%. in that moment i didn’t even care about sp, about 3d, about reflecting, heck i didnt even care if i shifted states right. i just DID IT. now ik what you and alia meant by “just do it” because THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.

anyways after i shifted my state (probably for the first or for real this time in my whole journey), i felt nothing unusual or different in a huge way (coz why would i? if im with sp i wont feel special all day) and i KID YOU NOT SCAR I think it was like maybe 3-4 hours later he (sp) CALLED me on “accident” THREE times. I was so confused as I didn’t have his number saved yet as I recently got a new phone, but then I got a text from him saying it was *his name* and if this number still belongs to me. I didn’t even panic or freak out or even think “omg i manifested this bc of my state!” i just approached it normally and replied saying it was my number. He then told me “suddenly” he keeps getting reminded of me and has been missing me for a while and wanted to see me. We decided to catch up after uni last weeks monday and it was SO GOOD. he “changed” in good ways and yes i will admit it was awkward at first because we hadn’t talked in so long nor been alone with each other but that went away so fast!!!! we kept seeing each other daily for a week and he confessed he likes me a lot, and I did too and told him ive been missing him. he said nothing ever compared to me and that the breakup hit him hard but he hid it from me. he said he has been missing me for a year now (proof that i actually shifted states and dealt with a “new” sp because a year ago he told me he dislikes me, is completely over the relationship and told me to move on because it had been 2 years at that point and he was thinking of seeing someone else). this week on wednesday he took me on a date to our old special place in my city and officially asked me to be his girl!!!!!!

so from shifting my state ONCE and all the way to relationship it took a little under 2 weeks.

oh also - just because in my story i only shifted my state properly once dont mean anyone else is wrong for doing it multiple times!!! a KEY part of the law is knowing that WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU AND IS NATURAL TO YOU IS WHAT WILL “WORK”. whatever YOU ENJOY imagining is what will shift your state!!!! STOP trying to do everything and worry about stuff thats not yours to worry about and JUST IMAGINE.

Ramblings stemming from frustration with this fandom sometimes. ( Naruto. )

I know Naruto fandom has always been a tad toxic ever since it started becoming popular and such, but something about these newer fans who are so comfortable with d3ath threats, body shaming, sa threats, and d0xxing other people for the sake of a character. Fandom discourse is truly never that serious and the fact that they’ve become so obsessed with “ratioing” or “owning” other people that they’re willing to say absolutely vile things all for what… some likes? Validation from other gross people?

And then for these people to still say they’re the “good part of the fandom” or “the sane part”. It’s almost narcissistic for lack of a better word at the moment. ( not diagnosing anyone or speaking as if I’m some sort of mental health expert. Just can’t think of another word right now because of the headache this phenomenon is causing me as it is becoming much too common. )

They have this obsession with demonizing “the other side.” To the point of making false claims, which is insane. Or maybe they actually believe them? I can’t tell. They just spread whatever makes them feel good about what they like and don’t care about the source.

This is mainly a lame annoyed rant about the Hinata fanbase which have become somehow even worse within the past few days with their weird obsession with trying to get the Boruto artist (I think he works for sp? Unsure as he says most of his art is fanart but he made a like two or three official pieces that were on the official boruto/naruto page.) fired and sending him death threats for I guess just not drawing Hinata as much as they want? Like to the point where they were literally saying she was being “oppressed and bullied” by this artists. It was insane to see in person because you really would like to believe people WOULDNT compare a character not being drawn in a way they approve of to the oppression the people of Palestine are facing but hey, I suppose it’s a competition now to see how much of a bad person you can be for the sake of a character.

Also I know this is not just an issue in the hinata fandom, although the recent need to fetishize how “Asian Hinata is compared to that white girl sakura.” Is irking me a lot more than what other fandoms have done as of recent that I’m aware of. The Sakus seem to be their usual level of delusion and crappy attitude. Which is easy to ignore for me.

Does it sound like I’m making stuff up at this point? Because as I’m writing this I’m seeing just how insane this really is. This *shouldn’t* be real. This *shouldn’t* be things people say without shame. And yet, people just throw their morals for… what, internet points? The self validation that they defended to their favorite character? Who knows.

You might not even read this, I wouldn’t blame you lol. Just me being annoyed with how comfortable people within the naruto fandom have become so comfortable with being bad people.

My only real question is have you noticed an increase of toxicity within the fandom? Do you think this behavior has gotten worse with the ending of Naruto and beginning of Boruto?

I kinda get what you mean. I remember even before the manga ended there was apparently aggressive fights between Narusaku/Naruhina shippers, like the body shaming towards the other ship's girl and so on. And SS also were aggressive. But nowadays it indeed seems worse. I'm not sure if it's because we have new big platforms? Twitter and Tiktok I mean, both have really cancerous fandom spaces.

SS/NH harass official staff all the time, as well as other parts of the fandom. And then they act like victims because some people think Sakura and Hinata are shitty characters lol. Meanwhile they treat real people like shit. I think it might be because everyone makes fun of their ships/girls all the time, because it's so easy, so they become even crazier in trying to compensate, they try to harass the staff for more content for their ship, to get back at the people who say their ships suck. Also because so many popular content creators keep making content on Naruto and Sasuke being gay and Sakura/Hinata being their beards it's also humiliating to them.

Of course, they also need to fight which girl is the best girl. Which girl is less of a single mother for example. XD

"Or maybe they actually believe them?" Considering how many SS have convinced themselves that some moments that happened between Naruto and Sasuke actually happened between Sasuke and Sakura, I can believe them being that delusional.

No because I have witnessed it myself, plenty Sakura and Hinata stans on twitter have that toxic "bad bitch" attitude that they think makes them queens or whatever, they harass people and are extremely aggressive and think female character doing the bare minimun = queen behaviour. It comes off as very childish and narcissistic. No wonder Sakura and Hinata as characters appeal to them.

So, I'll start by saying that I no longer care about anything related to Naruto after the tragic ending with the destruction of the characters; I was bored so I decided to take a look on Twitter to see some news and from what I understood a Japanese tweet says that, currently, among the best anime couples ever there are SS in first place and NH in second place and I won't even tell you the frenzy of the shippers and how they are praising their couples. Now, what I wonder is: if in 2015 the Japanese themselves had drawn up a list (also released on crunchy roll) of couples who had to break up and NH was in 10th place while SS was in 6th, how on earth is it possible that now the same are people saying otherwise? I have a doubt: is it perhaps thanks to the SP fillers to justify the ships? Is this perhaps a result of the remaining fanbase i.e. the pro-enders as the rest of them totally drifted away after the end? Or is it always due to the supposed popularity of NH and SS? I swear I don't understand it at all. Plus, since today is the day the current couples were canonized, the merchandise included SS as well as NH rings and now everyone is happily ever after. But excuse me for a moment, first you are constantly fighting with each other over who is the best couple and hurting each other and now all loving because SP gave you the same treatment? Oh well, I really don't know what to think... a shonen literally transformed into a shojo comedy.... I swear the Naruto Franchise couldn't fall any lower than this....

I know it's old news at this point, but something that will always be funny to me that I don't see enough people talking about -- probably because it's so dumb and irrelevant -- but I just love how the Sakura/SS fandom love to come for SP over anything regarding that girl and their ship. Despite the fact that I personally see SP give so many unwarranted good moments for them compared to negative moments, but that's none of my business.

I would also like to state that I am not a fan of the Restuden series, especially Sasuke and Naruto Restuden from the things I've read. Mainly because I think the plot itself is entirely stupid and out of left field for Naruto to suddenly become basically allergic to Kurama in his late twenties early '30s. I could honestly care less about the shipy moments in these novels, but when will people admit the only reason that they like these stories is because it caters to one specific ship? You honestly don't think the story is good because it's not. You just like that Sakura gets highlight to her romance and to some random badass moments. Like come on? How long can you really sit here and pretend that you like that they're fighting dinosaurs? Especially with the largest dinosaur being a herbivore? I'll wait.

Anyway the point I'm trying to make is they praise Jun Esaka, who I'm rather indifferent towards but I find the hate she gets quite ridiculous and absurd at points. They often claim she should be the writer and take over for Boruto because she is a SS shipper and in her stories that involve them she makes content that suits their needs. I.e. Sasuke being a jealous simp and mushy father, Sakura being more confident and damn near wearing the pants in their relationship, random powers that other characters specialize in but suddenly they can use it (for example all of a sudden Sakura can use sensory jutsu, which is Karin's specialty, and Sasuke can use healing and ice style), And overall just all the romance that they had hoped for. Again for example the infamous ring scene, which depending on who you ask was either a good adaption or SP was ruining Sakura. And then you have the lake scene which again they bash them for cutting out certain moments. And finally you have Sasuke screaming for his wife and just overall them being lovey-dovey. And actually don't even get me started on the horrendous motorcycle scene that I guess is in Naruto Restuden, which is the only reason they want that novel adapted but not Kakashi's cause I guess they're not in that.

(Same fans that will come at Hinata for holding hands with Naruto after Neji died despite giving a whole speech pertaining to her cousin, are also the same fans that want Sakura and Sasuke to kiss over a dying Naruto while she drives a motorcycle.... Make it make sense)

Anywho I'm getting so far off my topic but I'm also getting close to my point. The thing I find so funny about Retsuden fans, is the fact that since the anime was far ahead of the manga adaptation, we got to see Sakura get tricked and stabbed by Jiji. When this episode came out, the outpour of rage and disrespect towards this studio -- who has both good and bad moments and I am not a full defender of them because I will admit they can be very biased -- was all I could see on Twitter. I honestly see why people say Twitter is such a toxic place because the fandom on that is just ridiculous. It's just constant arguing more so than on here. Anyway that's besides the point, but I saw so many people trash and compare the anime to the novel since the manga had not gotten to that point yet. They like to say why did he hug her? He never hugged her! There they go making Sakura weak again because she would never do that! Why would she let another man hug her when her husband is right there? Just wait until Sasuke sees what he did to his wife! And just basically overall a bunch of nastiness towards the fact that Sakura was pulled in for a hug by Jiji for an uncomfortably good while before getting stabbed in the back and she did nothing to stop it.

So the funny part is that while everybody is raging about this moment and saying wait till the manga adaptation comes out because the manga follows closely to the novel; The Manga is so much better, there's nothing but silence when it comes out that the manga did the same exact thing. If not did her dirtier than the anime did AKA than SP did.

Now I don't know what was written in the novel specifically, cuz I have not read it. But the gist of what I'm getting from people who have posted about it is that Sakura is just pulled back and stabbed. There's no hug. In the anime, Sakura is pulled back into a hug where Jiji rests his hand on her head and she just stands there before he stabs her in the back and drops her. Now in the oh so beloved and highly praised and worshiped manga adaptation that everyone was saying would do the novel justice, Sakura gets grabbed and pulled into a hug where, again, Jiji rests his hand on her head before stabbing her in the back. Now the difference is as far as I know, which I could probably be wrong because I never watched further in the scenes than what was on Twitter, is that in the anime he just lets her crawl because the kunai was poisoned.

But in the manga he kicks her in her face while she's already down and feeling the effects of the poison making her knock back against the wall.

Now tell me which one disrespects her more. I'll wait. Because after that panel came out, the only thing I heard was that the manga adaptation was going to be put on a hiatus. That was the only thing that was going around despite that being one of the last panels. Where is the outrage that she let somebody hug her that wasn't her husband, where is the calls for the artist to quit his job or that he's wrong and that that would never happen to her? Where is the same amount of rage that y'all put towards SP for animating that but not towards the artist who drew it?

To be honest this fandom, especially Sakura/ss fans really baffle me. I can get wanting moments and great things for your favorites, and I'm not going to pretend that it's only their fandom that acts this way because I've seen plenty of other fandoms including the fandom of my personal favorite Hinata acting out of control, but the amount of blatant hypocrisy and doubled standards that they have towards animators and content creators and anything that has to do with Naruto works is hilarious and astounding.

Yes your ship might be the most popular, and yes your ship might be known as the most powerful in the series. But unfortunately you are one of the most toxic fandoms and I feel bad for the actual neutral parties that just actually enjoy it and don't make it as if they're being bullied every time something doesn't go their way for this ship and character. I now see why people say there is a difference between being a regular Sakura fan and being a Sakura fan that also ships Sasuke and Sakura. And vice versa too when it's said there's a difference between being a Sasuke fan and a Sasuke fan who ships Sasuke and Sakura.

No hate to this author Jun Esaka. I wish her nothing but the best with her pregnancy and with her career because clearly she has fans, as biased as they may be. And to the people who constantly wish harm on this woman just because you don't like her preferences need to get a grip on reality and realize it's literally just cartoons. Yes we can love them and they can inspire us and we can enjoy them, but it is just content for our entertainment. People really need to stop putting their contempt for a character into reality and onto a real person. It is not and will never be that serious. And speaking of reality checks, my final point is that that one manga panel was the exact reality check that that fandom needed to slow their freaking roll and stop having this weird biased hate towards a studio that has often done more good than harm for their ship compared to others.

Unit Teambuilding - Grusha

This one's weird. Iono has a lot of popularity and is a Pokemon Company favorite, so it makes sense she gets in as a PokeFair. But Grusha? I didn't think Grusha pulled that much popularity. Then again, I guess he's just "Volkner but a good character," so he's pulling in all the sad boi fanatics. I can't judge. We all know I have my types that get me, too.

General Overview Grusha comes in as an Ice support.  Not just any Ice support though.  This is a man with Ice Zone.  That's right, for the first time in a long while, we have Role Compression Support.  For the unfamiliar, my stance on these kinds of supports is "Automatically excellent."  Being able to remove the need for a Tech pair that supplies the field effect opens up options for debuffers or secondary DPS pairs that really expands your range of effects.  SS Kris, SS Morty, and Ingo were pioneers of this approach, and all three were, and still are, excellent.  Even NC Calem, who I am often shitting on for his buddy move conditional, is fantastic because of this compression.  Grusha doesn't even have the Buddy move hangup, so he's got that going for him.  In addition, he offers some fairly nice tools, including Team Fierce Entry 2 for a pop injection of Atk, team recovery per action under Zone, accelerated gauge under Zone and Revenge Boost 9, Impervious and access to Vigilance on grid, and disruptive effects in Flinch and Freeze from Ice Fang.  His Buddy move, despite its two-turn nature, negates an attack thrown at him before counterattacking, including voiding an entire AoE move against the team, and inflicts a -3 Atk/Sp Atk debuff on the target, which is all great for survival.  So hey, Grusha's set to be top tier.

Except no, he isn't.  While I am a huge advocate for these kinds of compressed roles, Grusha encounters a serious problem on closer inspection.  Consider this: what made SS Kris, SS Morty, and Ingo so effective?  What makes NC Calem so good that the Gamepress tier list ranks him as the third best support in the game despite his many failures?  In all of these situations, they are good on offense.  Kris boosts Sp Atk, Ingo boosts physical attack, and Calem hits both.  Kris is well aligned to her type as many Water types emphasize special, while Ingo is good for Sandstorm as almost everyone who cares about it is physical.  Calem's decisions have some questionable elements, but he better supports physical Water than Kris, while emphasizing the common physical Dark types.  Even Morty, who doesn't do much for offense, is well aligned, as most Fire types have been in a three-year arms race with SS Red for better and better self-sufficiency, and rarely if ever need more than what Morty offers, instead just appreciating that he covers speed.

Now look at Grusha.  +2 Atk on entry if desired.  Dire Hit All+.  Maybe Pep Rally on his TM.  Atk/Sp Atk debuffs. He does nothing for special Ice types, which is for the best as Irida covers that far too well, but it would've been nice to have the option since special ice setup is a nightmare.  But for physical, he's...nothing novel.  Candice's setup isn't entirely solved through him, and he's not a support for Hail, just Ice, so her weather creates the need for Snow Shelter on grid.  Hala's setup is fine, just add Zone, which can be done cheaper with Glaceon eggmon.  Summer Steven honestly wants more help with Atk than Grusha provides.  Silver desperately wishes Grusha would debuff speed with that Buddy move so he contributed something to his nuke.  SS N is the obvious beneficiary, having his sync very well accounted for, but frankly SS N is a better DPS pair and prefers PMUN stackers to blast things apart.  Grusha is maladapted to his type.  You can't even argue the merits of just having Ice Zone broadly, because any specially offensive Ice type is better served by Irida's compression of high DPS, Sp Def debuffs, inclusion of Hail to solve Blizzard accuracy and apply grid multipliers, and freeing up better supports that do more for Ice types' notorious poor setup.

This leaves Grusha to the role of generalist, where he under-performs compared to Winter Sycamore who just left. Sycamore does exactly what Grusha does, but with better gauge, and with Rebuff to negate the common Extreme Battle condition of Acute Senses, and allows you to take "No Field Effect Change" in CS for a nice chunk of free points. Honestly, without any substantial healing under his belt and a two-turn move, he's arguably worse off than Halloween Phoebe, who I absolutely did not respect. So if he's not useful to his type, and he's not a great generalist, what is he? The fourth Ice Support for a hypothetical Ice High Score. You're getting him in case they only make five supports by the time that type drops. Is this a worthwhile concern? Not to me. But then I don't invest in the good Ice types, only the bad ones because it's funny how hard Irida carries.

EX, Role, and Move Level? Support, so 3/5 recommended. Especially with his base kit being so generally poor, give him the help he needs. 5/5 gets nice traits, but oddly no Zone extension. Role is Tech, just for stats, don't think it's worth it.

Team 1: Grusha, SS N, Colress Realistically, this is what Grusha is built for. SS N wants every aspect of what Grusha puts down, particularly for his sync nuke. I personally think this is less advantageous to N compared to PMUN stacking via NC Rosa, but to each their own. Colress should bottom out defense so N can contribute the most.

Team 2: Grusha, SS Silver, Masked Royal Grusha can attempt to salvage Silver, who can grid Pinpoint Entry for the sure hits. Grusha gives crits, and Masked Royal gives team speed, which can conserve Silver's Buddy move nuke for when it's ready. Problem: the condition is max HP. Grusha cannot heal him. I think this is honestly the worst drawback because it renders Silver a relatively poor choice overall.

Team 3: Grusha, Candice, Summer Steven It's really hard to get a good F2P team going. Candice is the obvious nuke, appreciating the Zone boost tremendously, as well as the +2 Atk that removes a turn of her buffing. Summer Steven has the DPS inclusion for if you want to let Grusha sync first, though you are then reliant on a quad queue or a denial/flinch. Best of luck.

Team 4: Grusha, Irida, BP Candice If you really want to pair Grusha with Irida, for whatever possible reason, it's best to run another Hail setter like BP Candice. Alignment with Sinnoh and all. The thing is, I don't think this is optimal. I'm just saying you can use the other two to alleviate Irida's setup. If you want.

Team 5: Grusha, NC Red, SS Hilbert This is what I think is better. Irida and NC Blue can operate independently, and I think that's legitimately for the best. They're strong enough to clear on their own. In this case, Grusha is sensible as a partner with Red on his own, thanks to application of the Zone for him. Admittedly I struggle to think of a sane third, but SS Hilbert converts to Ice, and has Sp Def debuffs and the third rebuff, so like...sure?

Final Thoughts Grusha can participate, and a multiplicative field effect is never strictly bad. But this feels like an ongoing bit where DeNA keeps making Ice types kinda bad for no real reason. Maybe they just don't like Ice. It's winter, so I'm inclined to agree with them for the next three months.

So ruined Ino's image and character as compare to manga. Sp made her a playgirl personality, mean bitch girl whereas reality she is a girl version of naruto with loudmouth and heir of great clan. Useful and beautiful but sp changed her to a complete different personality.

And now even in fanfics writers writes her like a mean bothering hot fuckgirl which honestly is so sad as she's total normal kind useful ninja and a caring friend.

Sp is doing the same as they made ino simp for boys, now they changed sumire simping for kagura with other girls whereas in novel she was standing there unintrestingly like salad but sp included her with kagura fangirling crowd. Again skr, salad, ns, ss and bsa biasedness from sp.

Yeah Ino was much better in the manga and even early on you get the feel that her interest in Sasuke was more to rial Sakura up. She could be a bit mean to Choji and Shikamaru at times, but when you factor in how close their families are its basically playful banter between friends.

Most fanfic writers watched the anime first hence the anime and filler impression stuck to Ino rather then impression canon manga gives her.

I know Sumire is as far from a fangirl you can get yet they are lumping her into the crowed as well. Its one of the many changes they made which bring Sumire down when in canon she is far from how they are showing her.

As an INFJ mental health provider, I have a feeling that I could be communicating in a way that might better meet my sensor clients. My intuitive clients seem to really feel supported by me, but some of my sensor clients seem confused or maybe put in a position of insecurity by my communication style. How can I do better and improve?

This topic is covered in the articles about Emotional Triggers and Caring for Emotional Needs, please read them. Your question is quite basic and it's difficult for me to respond when I don't know how much you know. If you want to be able to apply knowledge about type appropriately, you first need to have good knowledge of all the types, so read the study guides if you haven't yet.

For example: There are 8 kinds of Sensors, are you familiar with all of them and their unique characteristics? Do you understand what Sensing is, what being a Sensor means, and how it differs from being an Intuitive? Do you understand the two different Sensing functions and how they differ from each other? Do you understand how being Ni dominant influences your relationships with SPs versus SJs?

When trying to help, it's only natural that people begin with strategies that have worked or would presumably work for themselves. However, as you've seen, the strategies do not always transfer well to others if their way of perceiving and judging is very different. When your higher functions are someone else's lower functions, using your natural approach will only serve to trigger their lower function problems and insecurities.

For instance, INFJs are very future-oriented because of dominant Ni. Advising Se doms with inferior Ni to be future-oriented may backfire because they have no idea how to do it the way you do it. What's worse, they will likely feel bad for it and then have to manage that negativity, on top of whatever problem you're helping them with.

Ni has a tendency to mistake belief for fact, so it's important to ensure that you give people the help they actually need rather than the help you believe they should need. Communicating about needs is vital. Identify how they perceive/judge the situation (through their functions) and address the problem from their perspective, in ways that align with their aims and goals.

What is the state of your Fe development? Fe health and maturity is vital for INFJs to be effective helpers, carers, or providers. Fe grants you a much greater capacity to empathize and grasp what others are feeling. Also, the more mature auxiliary Fe is, the greater dominant Ni's capacity for accurately visualizing someone's perspective as a whole, even when it's very different from your own. This is the main strength of INFJs and developing it should be an ongoing project.

General rules of thumb for dealing with your opposites:

Sensors prefer help that is concise, concrete, and firmly grounded in reality. (Do you understand what "concrete" and "grounded" really entail, considering that Se is your inferior function?) Ss don't have as much patience for long drawn out explorations of speculative routes to a solution. They need to have complete confidence that an idea can be carried out successfully at the start, which means you should work out all the details or steps properly before presenting an idea to them. You need to properly account for all of the practical difficulties they are facing, or else they will feel as though you don't understand them.

Thinkers prefer help in the form of factual explanations (of the problem), straightforward logical connections, actionable advice, and reasonably quick tangible results. Their feelings and emotions are not as plentiful and near the surface as Fs. They may require more creative approaches for getting in touch with their feelings. They may not require as much time for emotional processing before getting down to brass tacks.

Extraverts prefer help to be action-oriented. Since they face outward more than inward, they have less aptitude for inner reflection. For extraverts such as SPs, prompting them to think too much can actually become self-destructive. While they need to develop their auxiliary introverted function, the process always has to be respectful to their dominant extraverted function, or else they might unwittingly fall into inferior grip and make everything worse.

Perceivers (aka Prospectors) prefer to maintain an attitude of openness, hopefulness, and trust in the world. They might not like to hear things that imply: they only have one option, there is only one way of doing things, or there is only one possible outcome, etc. The help you give them should allow them to feel a sense of agency and flexibility in determining the outcome for themselves.

One of the most common problems when opposites meet is that they tend to be blind to each other's strengths and only see each other's weaknesses, because their functions are on opposite ends of the functional stack. To help them effectively is a matter of seeing and acknowledging their strengths and guiding them to make better use of them. It's difficult because their strengths are your weaknesses and thus likely to unconsciously trigger your lower function insecurities, which is why self-awareness is an important component of helping. You need to know how you are factoring in to the helping relationship and whether you are being objective, fair, and impartial in your evaluations. What you don't want is to inadvertently make people feel as though there's something fundamentally wrong with who they are (because they aren't like you) and then try to change them (to be more like you).

The Naruto 20th annivesary happened and it changed me.

Oh my God. I need to rant about this because I AM NOT CAPABLE OF BEING NORMAL ABOUT IT.

I know, I know. Everyone who has seen the 20 year anniversary special in SP’s youtube channel is overwhelmed with nostalgia right now and I can assure you I’m no different. But what makes me feel so over the fucking moon is that the reanimated moments are mostly between Naruto and Sasuke. 

Again, I know Kishimoto has already stated that Naruto is about Naruto (of course) and Sasuke, progressing as a “pair”. Now even though I love SasuNaru and believe that “pair” might have a certain innuendo to it, the beauty of their relationship is that you can interpret it in more ways than just a romantic one. Platonic, maybe? Sure go ahead, each one of us has a POV and that’s okay. However, this 10 minute video makes it perfeclty clear that they’re each other’s most treasured/beloved/important person. YOU CANNOT CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT THIS. 

Sasuke and Naruto might not have many moments sharing the same page or screen time during Shippuuden, and yet you can still feel how much they influence each other without even trying. When “Sign” by Flow began to play I swear to god I almost fucking lost it because I LOVE THIS ARC SO MUCH FOR SO MANY REASONS - Naruto finally being recognized by this village, his fucking epic entrance, Minato finally appearing are a few examples that come to mind. But the main reason is the fact that during this arc, Naruto finally begins to understand Sasuke’s motives and why he feels the way he does. Which leads us to the whole Romeo and Juliet speech about “shouldering the burden of your hatred and dying with you”.

I don’t care if you ship SNS, NH, SS (actually I do care if you ship those two but that’s a whole different issue) or whatever YOU CANNOT CONVINCE THAT THEY AREN’T EACH OTHER’S MOST IMPORTANT PERSON (or their “one and only” as Sasuke said lol). 

My only complaint is that I wish “Diver” was added. The whole opening sequence, lyrics and the way it fits into Sasuke and Naruto’s relationship is just so perfect  *chef’s kiss* but I guess since this masterpiece was wasted on a filler arc, maybe it wouldn’t make sense. 

I’m sorry this rant is a mess and might have butchered english language as I’m not a native speaker but as you can see I CAN’T BE NORMAL ABOUT THEM. My boys deserve so much better than that thing named Boruto.

21 wins, just two hours before reset. I had a rough day at work so getting some more win streaks is just how I cope with it. It's already a little higher than last time and I'm tired so I don't want to attempt further. To sum up, this run is basically: Morty supremacy.

Team 13

I haven't used Cheryl for...so long, really. I gave her 5* based from @crystalelemental 's recommendation, but even then I still haven't found good opportunity to use her, because her physical defense is so low, and many stages are unpredictable, so I'm still hesitant to use her...

...until now. Crystal said that Cheryl could withstand Uxie's Iron Tail, so I was thinking, maybe she could survive Entei too? Entei's sync is physical, yes, but his moves were mostly special.

Cheryl did survive! Until third bar when he started spamming strong physical move, and she went down from a Stone Edge, but even then, she did a great job surviving that far. Elio did an amazing job at proc-ing Team Fast Track, Trip Up, and Mind Games. Thanks to that, Barry could reach maximum Inertia and Cakewalk multiplier, and destroyed Entei with 34k sync damage, without rain and only +4 Sp. Atk! This team worked much better than I expected.

Team 14

...I can't think of team comp. Thankfully Subway Bros are as strong as ever. Finally got the chance to use Dawn after...the end of Sinnoh Villain Arc, really, when I last used her. Gauge is a bit difficult at first, but can be negated after SC Ingo proc some Team Viral Haste. SC Emmet is just SC Emmet, he's awesome.

Team 15

I am going to make Halloween Morty work even if it kills me, god damn it. Lisia was there to get rid of permanent status shield, but even then Halloween Morty shouldn't use Will-o-Wisp too much so Uxie didn't build resistance at third health bar. Thankfully Shadow Sneak has 3 PP and with careful usage, he could work around his limitation. Viola tanked pretty well, even the Iron Tail and the occasional physical hits. Even with only +4 Atk and only Scorching Sync 5 and another innate Scorching Sync, Halloween Morty had no trouble nuking Uxie once he got to do it. It was great.

Team 16

Hell yeah, redundancy! This team is probably the most redundant ever? Like, SS Kris has 3 Rain Dance usage by default, yet I used May alongside her because I wanted and insisted to test her sync nuke build. The result is pretty good, and Muddy Water made a quick work of Entei. Rachel was there to buff speed and debuff special attack, and also to clear status from May. This team finished in just two sync, from SS Kris and May, and right before third sync. It was really fast.

Team 17

Tried with Tech Ninetales, and Sunny Day MPR refused to proc, then I gave up and just brought Lyra for eternal sun. SS Erika needs permanent sun, and I don't want to reset just for Sunny Day MPR. This means SS Erika has to run full DPS build while Lyra takes all the sync. Luckily Lyra has Rising Tide, so her sync nuke is still pretty good. I thought Morty could survive the Wood Hammer even with maxed defenses, but turns out he didn't. Thankfully Lyra could be an emergency tank as long as she didn't take the Wood Hammer, thanks to Morty's defensive buffs.

I feel like this could have been more effective with EX Lyra but, I dunno, I don't feel like EX-ing her. She has worse defensive stats than Falkner and Hilbert, and even them struggled to survive. So, I think even with EX she wouldn't mean to be a frontline tank.

Team 18

You know I have no intention in making further win streak if I just threw my best units in one team. Evelyn taking full advantage of Kalos Flag Bearer and that certainly helped her to take hits better. Skyla was mostly there to control gauge, because Evelyn's burning move is 3 gauges while SS Serena's restrain is 4 gauges. Pretty much just SS Serena steamrolling things as usual as long as gimmicks and gauges are covered.

Team 19

Another team that ended the fight in near full HP! Zinnia'a flinching power is outstanding. Bugsy and Aaron completed her buffs while controlling gauge and keep everyone alive. -6 Defense Dragon Rush hit really hard. Aaron wasn't at full HP because he got burned from Sacred Fire, but the fight was already over by that time.

Team 20

Zinfogel wasn't kidding when he said this team is near immortal. The theme skills cohesion, the potions, Leaf's sync buffs, Red's defense debuffs and paralysis, and finally, Spring May's 12k damage High Jump Kick. They really could check almost all Legendary Arenas. I used this team against Tornadus too, and while it took a while, this team did it. Gauntlet is probably the only reason I'm using Spring May, but I'm also hoping I can use her in CSMM someday.

Team 21

And to end this with a bang, OG Morty. Surprisingly he proc his MPR on trainer move 4 times, which lets him reach max evasion all by himself. Tech Kangaskhan provided defense debuffs and counter to all Uxie's gimmicks, while Halloween Caitlin kept everyone alive.

OG Morty, with max Blind Spot multiplier, +6 attack, and -6 defense, nuked Uxie's second health bar in just one sync. I feel...so satisfied. OG Morty has really difficult set up (and so is Halloween Morty), but being able to pull off his max potential just makes me so happy as a fan.

Of course, the third bar took a while because Phantom Force MPR didn't proc at all, but once he sync, he ended the fight. With that, I used all Morty alt that I had throughout this gauntlet run. My job is done.

The news of ss retsuden being adapted into anime is genuinely depressing i had made peace with the manga since i could ignore but having it be a part of the anime would just make it a part of the anime timeline and technically "canon" idk what sp was thinking but i jus lt hate how much sasusaku is being showed down our throats these days literally what is their end goal with this? Whats worse is that i cant even be hopeful about the future since there is no sasunaru content to look forward to

You need to calm down.

First of all, there is a 72 volume manga over the course of 15 years worth of content about our ship, written by Kishimoto. And even the movie and spin-off manga by him after the ending were like "yeah Naruto and Sasuke are still what matters, not their irrelevant wives". Non-canon things will never take that away. Do you really think Esaka's self insert story about chakra rings and dinosaurs can compare to all the effort Kishimoto put in his story, the years of work? All the drawing, all the writing, all the nuances in Naruto and Sasuke's relationship? Like if you read his writings, you can tell how much love and work he put into this manga, even if it ended less than well.

In comparison, Esaka wrote something self inserty about someone else's work, that doesn't even align with canon because she didn't care enough to do her research. What she cared about was how hot Sasuke was and how Sakura is married to him. And now she is liking bash tweets about Hinata because she is just like Sakura, threatened by other women. Of course, this will work on shallow fans like SS, because their reasons to ship SS are shallow to begin with. They didn't understand what Kishimoto tried to say and show in his manga. If they did, they would have figured out that he doesn't even like Sakura, and kept humiliating her at every turn. I mean some SS did, long time ago, but they left the fandom and dropped the ship.

You guys put way too much weight on the opinions and actions of SS fandom, considering how shallow and vile they are. Why? They are the laughing stock of the rest of the fandom. You can't reason with them. So stop taking their arguments so seriously. Their arguments can be torn apart easily as well. It's possible the Retsuden episodes will be abridged by SP (so they can go back to the canon Code arc) just like the peanut episode was abridged from one of the novels, but what you need to understand is SS will never calm down, be satisfied and stop being obnoxious even if SP animated it all. Because majority of the fandom still think Sakura is the worst female character in anime and that SS is more than contrived. They can't rest because they know their ship isn't acknowledged. And are these really the people you want to have a competition with?

OK so uk the person who told me weird stuff abt my sp was one of ur friends and istg I didn't wanted to make her against you or anything . I don't want to mention her name . But omg she put false claims on me that I threatened her with the ss ..what 😭😭girl tbh I can't even give savage comebacks leave alone threating someone. And then her friends were mssging me and telling me that sharing ss was illegal ..is it really ?? 💀💀. I shared the ss w some loa accs coz it triggered my overthinking . I didn't " leak " them. Sync Pair Retrospective - Halloween 2022

I feel like this event was weird. I dunno, it just didn't feel that engaging to me? It's hard to explain.

Halloween Allister Allister came out second, but I'm talking about him first, because I once said he was the worst support released last year. It's been another year now, and...yeah actually, I stand by it.

Halloween Allister feels very much like SS Wally, in that sense where he was ultimately held back for having a new trait. Ghost Rebuff was supposed to be a huge deal, but Ghosts...don't really love this guy. They can get along, but the bad speed tends to hinder more than help, given how gauge limited many of them already are. His immediate +3 crit for the team is nice, but defense is only relevant sometimes, and his Ramp Up is incredibly slow acting. He's a pair that thrives more in Gauntlet, especially as a soloist given his passive recovery, but his CS performance is highly suspect. This has not significantly changed.

The completion of grid expansions did provide Allister with two F2P partners in Agatha and Shauntal. Agatha's stalling technique via Hypnosis allows Allister to take a little longer with the Ramp Up to get her where she's going, while Shauntal's speed boosting trainer move meant gauges were less of a problem. Neither was an ideal fit. They worked well, but were far from exceptional. NY Dawn was effective enough, further improving physical bulk and doubling his Ramp Up buff. But the trouble with Allister is that if he's getting Ramp Up, he's not applying the rebuff, and then what is he doing? You need approximate self-sufficiency, but the only two with that, Anni Lillie and Renegade Cynthia, are pretty slow and gauge hungry. So he often fails to give them what they need.

Allister hasn't really changed. If anything he's gotten worse, as other fast-acting crit buffers jump in. NC Calem does the same +3 crit with the right grid, and offers a huge boost to Atk with some Sp Atk in the same action, while having two types of field effect. Palentine's Mallow does the same Def/Crit with high personal healing and Ramp Up gimmick, but with special defense drops on her main damage attack instead of the type rebuff, making her more broadly applicable. Frankly, if it weren't for the rebuff, Variety Agatha would've put him out of a job permanently as far as offensive support goes. The kid started out pretty bad and arguably got worse. His only real niche at this point is a Gauntlet Solo count few care about, and the rebuff that doesn't see much use. That'll save the meta.

Halloween Iris So with that you may think hey, Iris has Poison Zone, and Poison is a rough time. I guess she's the better pick. Great news! She's the worst Zone setter! It's not even close!

Iris' Zone exists for herself. Hyper Beam spam is at least decent, despite her low special attack, and she can do okay at clearing on-type content. Though off-type reveals how bad the special attack really is. Her only other utility is Acid, which she needs 3/5 to make a 100% AoE chance to debuff special defense. That is a lot of investment for an effect Lucian wildly outperforms at 1/5, girl. Zone is carrying you, and frankly, it's not worth it given how bad Poison damage really is. It's incredibly had to justify Iris.

The introduction of new damage dealers was also a double edged sword. Yes, Emma and Oleana could use the Zone. But they're physical, and new CS parameters with the 12.5k meta meant you didn't want to attack with both types of damage, so oopsie doodles, using Iris is not using someone who does literally nothing but Zone, or trying to let her contribute to damage by re-allocating points to more punishing conditions. Emma had an easier time with Looker than Iris. And Oleana had a rebuff that she slapped on right away to ensure Toxic, effectively replicating Iris' utility, then adding Venom Drench and Pep Rally 2 on Move Gauge Boost to the mix. Oleana wasn't so much a good partner to Iris as her replacement. It wasn't Zone, but it got the job done better. The only real partners Iris has received as Drasna, who has Poison as secondary, and Petrel, who is a 0.4% chance to happen on a limited banner he's sharing with four other targets. Good luck with that!

Iris is not in a great position. Poison is starting to seriously pick up as a damage type, but they're all physical. And while Iris doesn't contribute much, she prefers special. Which very, very few competent Poison-types are. Iris is still waiting for the special Poison type of her dreams, that has competent DPS and is easier to access and everything. Personally, I'm hoping it's Halloween Lusamine and Nihilego this year. But given how the year has gone for me personally, I'm not confident.

I still don’t understand what’s the big deal about that scene in 74. I think the fans complaining aren’t aware that this panel was Sakura’s ONLY scene throughout like FOUR MONTHS worth of chapters but SP thoroughly added her to the training arc with the sai scenes, the food pills and the letters which are completely nonexistent in the manga. When Naruto sees the shooting star he clutches Sakura’s letters to his chest, in the manga there’s nothing. SP made that rasenshuriken thing it a team effort… so naturally that scene with the photo was also extended to include the team itself, but she still only shed tears after a zoom on Sasuke. Ultimately they stayed true to the original scene after carefully adding her to the arc. Not to mention that most NS sp filler was actually anchored in Naruto’s feelings not Sakura’s (shizuka, detailing when he fell in love etc) and when it was about Sakura it was literally just canon adjacent, goinf on dates bc he agreed to pay (same thing in the manga), Naruto “dying” and her being upset about it, or the ridiculous mecha Naruto episode where she trusts him to fix it. And let’s not forget that every pro NS filler content has overblown slapstick comedy and "who would I heal first" type shit to tank it.

Who cares if it was Sakura's only scene in however many chapters? The fact of the matter is, Studio Pierrot changed what happened in the story in order to suit their own preferences (since it was well documented that there were many NS fans within the staff), and that is not acceptable, end of story. Why am I going to be happy that they gave Sakura extra scenes during the training arc, when those scenes gave fans an inaccurate recount of what actually happened, all while simultaneously damaging SS's portrayal while elevating NS's? I don't have an issue with the pill scenes etc, because they weren't changing the story, they were adding to it, and weren't detrimental to the accuracy of the adaptation, or the character depictions. However, the scene with Sakura was in the manga, and they utterly butchered it.

That stupid filler scene is a large reason why so many NS anime only fans believe that Sakura was apparently moving on from Sasuke and on to Naruto, but Kishi just changed his mind at the end due to "popularity reasons"; because they believe that the bullcrap in that filler scene is actually legit. You say how "SP made that rasenshuriken thing a team effort", but it's not SP's job to alter the story, thereby giving fans the wrong idea of what actually happened.

They most definitely did not stay true to the original scene. Staying true to it, would have been her sitting on the bed, looking at their team photo, thinking of Sasuke, and shedding a tear. That was apparently too much to ask for. Instead, SP made Sakura have these random Naruto flashbacks which had nothing to do with anything. They made her think about how hard he’s worked, how far he’s come, how she can help him from now on etc. They even had the audacity to make Sakura recall how someone said that what really mattered were her feelings for Naruto, despite the fact that this scene was supposed to depict her being upset over Sasuke’s absence:

“What really matters are your feelings for Naruto”? What feelings? What did that have to do with anything? This was absolutely terrible by SP. They didn’t even have Sakura think about Sasuke at all. The only thing she thought about was Naruto’s journey, and how she could help him from now on. Why couldn’t they even remotely stick with the manga? Sorry but this scene was downright awful and inexcusable. It's rather easy to see why people have issues with it.

In one of your posts you added some headcanons that SS stans came up with, and the one that really caught my eyes was "Sasuke's obsessed with Sakura's eyes"... This isn't funny at this point, it's complete desperation 🤣🤣🤣!! Since when did he say that??? I don't remember him ever looking at her in the eyes passionately, even in Boruto. How many lies do they have to come up with just for them to feel good about their ship??? If Sasuke doesn't say anything about her eyes, then I completely discard that idea. He doesn't even take the time to compliment her looks, not that he cares about that anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️. And in another post you said that they are asking SP to make Sasuke and Sakura kiss right? I'm sure that kiss would be a filler. Because it wouldn't affect the storyline. I don't read Boruto (I respect myself too much for that), so Idk what's going on in that crazy manga.. But apparently something not good is coming up for SS?? What exactly happened in the latest chapter??

Hello ANon! Oh yes, this "He is obsessed with Sakura eyes" is a thing that me and my friend always laugh at xD But yes, it's true. I read it in one their multiple meta post. Will not attach the link because too much cringe and i read it long ago. This post, conveniently selected some pannels and ...I dont know jaja tried to point out that always there is some connection between Sasuke's gaze to Sakura's eyes. For example they edited and cropped panels from Sasuke first reunion in Shippuden, and they cut Naruto out of the picture and made it seem...as if he were looking at her? Ah also because when he said "she was annoying" he somehow¿¿¿¿ was looking at her in the eyes (despite there is no proof of this lol) Of course they also added their so called s-mex/eyesmex whateverthefcuk pointing again that he has some kink with her eyes. Yeah. I know... Even if he doesnt word it or say something about them, you as mangaka can transmit those feelings especially in gazes and stares. Anime has the amazing characteristic of communicate a lot through the eyes, I myself can assure you as a drawer too (not a proffesional still but been drawing for 15 years.) If Kishimoto wanted to say something between...Sasuke having some obsession about Sakura eyes, he would have done it. Especially when Sasuke's eyes are so intense. In fact, in that chapter they selectively edited, Sasuke was staring at naruto, its the same when he was staring at him in Vote1 and we can go on. Say also Itachi's eyes when he is first introduced, meaning...Kishimoto knows how to do this job.

I can agree they had some chemistry when he saved her in the war (their only good scene) But this is as an isolated moment....to then confirm that he is obssesed with her eyes...Well, reading comprehension = 0

And regarding the kiss, yes this is something they always ask on twitter. They are desperate absolutely desperate for a kiss between them. I dont know if SP will make them kiss. In fact, the only couple they made kiss multiple times was SNS . We have a kiss for Naruto with Fuuka , whom he shared a very disgusted face.

Kakashi with this woman in a filler. And if someone remembers other ones let me know. But for canon... They could add even a kiss for Minakushi but never they did, or the strongest couples. So...i find it hard they made them kiss because its not relevant. If Sasuke kiss someone again, it may be naruto to maybe remember them of their first kiss, as some comic relief. Oh yeah i know Borusara kissed somehow but that was also filler and that kiss reflected SNS in fact So... xD About Boruto i dont know where people took this from, that something not good is coming for SS¿ Because I mean, SS is absolutey NON EXISTENT in Boruto. And I wonder if Ikemoto would plan to pull their romance in the manga, when he is dealing with this horrible topic about aliens and the bad copy of Akatsuki, Kara.

What some are especulating is that Sasuke death could be near, since he gifted his headband to Boruto which...We can take it as a bad and good thing at the same time for SNS. The manga nowadays is centered on Boruto, Kawaki, Sasuke and Naruto, Shikamaru and Amado. And the villains of course. Even this random girl Sumire, has more relevance and presence than Sakura and Hinata, so...i dont know what Bad thing could come for SS because its as if they have never been in there.

Something that maybe catched their eyes, is that Sarada complained that Sasuke is HER father more than Boruto's teacher. I find this marvelous lol because it just confirms what i have always said. But in any case, that the girl expressed (such as in canon as in a filler) this complaining its because we know whom is Sasuke's heart more connected with. (Despite what the gaiden said)
