It was early morning before Nurray got around to beginning her follow up on Kairos' behalf.

Other clients needed to be checked in on, schedules double checked, meal prep completed.

She flopped down at her desk with a sigh.

Nothing else hanging over her head, so she could finally give this case her full attention.

No staff on her end had arranged getting the Sergeant to a meeting place, so that left some one over his head.

Opening a chat client, she sent a message to Sergeant Major Sainah Haroti.

"Sergeant Major Haroti,

Good evening.

I am messaging you on behalf of my recent client, Sargeant Kairos Mikari.

Could you help me work out a communication error?"

About

One of the oldest members in his cavern, Avonis is dedicated to his work and to the lives of those he raised. However, there are centuries worth of unrest in him. Praised for his wing-like mutations on his ears, Avonis was raised to be a “perfect” rule-abiding Jadeblood, the post child of his era. Because of this, though Avonis yearns to explore and experience more of this world, the learned expectation of being useful and fulfilling his duty never left him. He regrets this, but feels no motivation to change this. Where else is he to go? What else is he to do? He despises the act of grooming Trolls into roles and stereotypes, and he despises even more people who fall for it; but, this is only his projection.

He does feel alive through his sons, however, though their dynamics change by the day. He loves them through and through, though his love makes him blind and immoral; he turns a blind eye to his sons’ mistakes, excusing them even if it costs others their very lives-- or his own.

The fact that you are effectively trapped down here helps nothing, as does the nagging anxiety that you will be found guilty for a crime you did not commit.
