Theres something about q!Charlie's numbness that implies that he'll be forced to endure a (slow?) progressing loss of limb function.

His arm used to feel like pins and needles, like it was falling asleep, but then he couldn't feel it at all.

Maybe soon it'll progress to his legs, across his head, across his shoulders.

Thinking about this, it could be that soon he wont be able to function as well without Flippa. Not that that's new, of course! q!Charlie's dependency on Flippa has already been apparent, mentally, emotionally (the only one that can keep the nightmares away), and soon physically; what if q!Charlie can't get out of bed in the mornings, not because of his sadness or nightmares but because he literally can't. Maybe JuanaFlippa holds his hand and he just can't feel it.

Maybe JuanaFlippa has to make something for him to walk with because he just can't do it on his own. He struggles to eat, maybe he's eventually bedridden until the corruption finalizes and contorts his body unrecognizably.

It would be easier to finally give in to his nightmares, to "listen a little closer," if he literally wasn't able to do anything else.

i think revival of eggs should be readily allowed HOWEVER you cannot do the same method twice and you need a genuinely compelling argument as to why it should work. i think this would make lore really funny and add a layer to it all that i think would prolong the egg caretaking arc for everyone
