damn realizing i'm now 11 months sober really makes it hit me that in not that long i'll have gone a whole year without the pills that used to define my entire everyday life

It's critical to break up the pills (try a pillcutter or knife) to slowly reduce the amount over about 10 days. If you are out completely, go to your pharmacist and explain the situation, because they (and your treating doctor) can be sued for medical malpractice for not giving you a few to cut up to properly wean, because it's both cruel and medically dangerous.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Exercise and sweat out what you can. If you have weird dreams, set your alarm to wake yourself up every two hours so you don't hit that rem quite so hard. Don't make any big, life-altering decisions this week.

Thanks friend! I've been reducing it carefully over several weeks (lowest dispensed/prescribed dose is 20mg and I got down to 7mg) but to 0 it was still too big a drop unfortunately. Learned that the hard way.

I'm already looking into suing the doctor who initially put me on this medication (and to whom I went crying hysterically a year afterward, begging for help) because she put me on it against my wishes and honestly if she'd reviewed my file AT ALL she would've seen what I now see/know- strong strong indicators for bipolar 2, which means I never should have been on this med anyway, ESPECIALLY not without a simultaneous mood stabilizer. It's a whole Thing.

5. If they had a theme song, what would it be?

Exe: I’ve actually thought about this a lot, and I think that the song Carnival by otetsu (preferably the MioDioDaVinci cover, I feel like it fits him better) fits him a lot. My reasoning is that Exe comes from a place where he wasn’t really accepted as a person, he was treated like a sort of god from having abilities (telekinesis, selective mind reading, etc) that no other being on his planet had. He hated it all, and all he wanted was to be equal to them. Being at such a high standpoint in society gave him anxiety, and eventually his powers grew so strong he couldn’t control them. In a fit of what can only be called rage, he wiped out everyone and everything on his home planet. Everything he’d ever known was gone because of him. He was lonely, but the pressure was gone. He was sad, but thrilled at the same time. Carnival has similar themes (loneliness, destroying things you love and feeling happy yet sad), and I feel like if he heard the song it’d really resonate with him.

Briar: I’m not writing a paragraph here about his past but probably something by cavetown? Or Rex Orange County? If I think about it, maybe This Is Home. It doesn’t really fit him exactly but the tone of it is similar to how he feels, and I think if he heard it he’d ask for the lyrics and then cry for a hour or so. Lemon boy also fits, if we call the lemon ‘coming to terms with the fact I’m gay and will never be accepted by my family or peers’. edit: I’m listening to this is home rn and yeah, he’d really resonate with it. it doesn’t fit his past but he’d 10/10 cry when hearing it.

Exe: He’s not sure. He wasn’t ever religious, and he isn’t about to start now. If he had a idea of his own afterlife, he’d say something ominous, like “The Void.” So yeah, he pictures The Void™️.

Briar: Also unsure. He was raised a christian but always doubted their views and was skeptical about a god. I’d say his picture of afterlife is also similar to Exe’s, but maybe a bit nicer. He thought at one point that he might feel more accepted in death, but at this point he doesn’t know.

41: What is the dumbest way they’ve been injured?

Exe: Tripped over nothing and sprained his wrist. He was just walking, and his legs were like ‘no’ and he just fell. He didn’t hurt his face because he broke the fall with his arms, but his wrist hit something nearby and he sprained it.

rant: I can't write good

I feel like a genius until I have to impart any bit of information in an organized setting. Then it's like I'm a giant clod, a block of concrete, a dodo. I tried doing a travel log video of Stone Mountain about a decade ago, describing how totally FFFF'ed up it was to carve confederate assholes into this giant, ancient mound... and I look like a disorganized 5 year old. It's pretty bad. I've tried since, organizing scripts, and nothing seems to go right.

I've tried writing articles in the style of a Cracked.com listcicle, and even those don't work right.

I have no point, just the feeling that I'm on the verge of translating great thoughts to paper, but either being utterly unable to do so, or perhaps not having great thoughts to begin with. Either way, shit.

Completely unrelated: you can always take half a xanax by biting it in half or using a pillcutter ahead of time. Just be prepared, if you bite it, for a severely bitter taste. Bitter like a witch's butthole.
