Title: Coup

When the lost prince returns, a patch over one eye, a cane in his right hand, the people rejoice. His father may have cast him out as dead, blinding him in one eye and shattering the bones in his right leg, but none of that could stop him from reclaiming his rightful throne. Not an empty eye socket. Not a permanent limp in his leg.

A true son of Nemesis would never let an enemy get away without proper revenge, after all.

In the wake of the battle, Hongjoong takes to the palace balcony amid a bloody orange sunset. His shock of parted hair, one side blinding white, the other dark as night, ripples proudly in the wind as he addresses his people from overhead.

“I have lived among you,” he says, voice carrying over the crowd. “I have learned your ways. I know you, and you know me. In me, you will find a ruler who knows the debt he owes his people, and will do his best to repay that debt before his death.”

Not a single creature dares to break the silence, save a whispering wind that ripples around the prince-turned-king, the center of a hurricane, the eye of the storm.

“You have taken me in, kept me safe. You have fought for me, died for me.” At these words, Hongjoong bows deeply. Amid gasps of shock from the audience, he rises, leaning hard on his cane as his leg trembles beneath him. “My mother’s mantra is an eye for an eye,” he continues, gaze flicking toward the deep red flags that now jut from the palace overhang. “I know this lesson well.”

He leans over the balcony edge. “I pledge to you that I will repay the eye you have given me,” he calls, voice echoing on the wind. “That I will do all I can to raise you, to give you the lives and rights you were stripped of the day my father -” he spits the word - “took his place on the throne. I will live for you. I will rule for you.”

The crowd seems to hold its breath as the king speaks his next words.

“And if need be, I will die for you.”

All fine words, the people thought, words befitting of a ruler. But words without action had come too often, and so they waited for news that would demonstrate proof of his promise.

They didn’t have to wait long.

. . . . .

A land dispute arises a week into the new king’s reign, land his father had recently conquered but never put into use on account of his death. Nobility wanted it for weapons manufacture. The new king thought it better for food production instead.

Amidst the debate, one advisor steps forward from the throng. “More weapons will stabilize your reign, Your Majesty. Other countries will be eyeing ours for the taking in light of... recent coups, which makes us weaker.”

“Our agricultural sector has been decimated by battle, and not just those that I caused,” Hongjoong snaps. “Destabilization will happen faster within our own country if we don’t remedy this immediately, and only then should we focus our sole attention on outer threats.”

The advisor sighs. “With all due respect, Your Majesty, they are only peasants. They will not gain from having more food as they are used to their current fare -”

A raised hand cuts his words short. Hongjoong leans forward, eyes narrowing, clear disgust curling his lips. “Only peasants, you say.”

The advisor has enough sense not to respond.

“I lived as a peasant for several years,” the king says quietly. “To insult them is to insult me.”

“But, Your Majesty, you are royalty -”

“You seem to forget your place,” Hongjoong purrs, rising from the throne. The cane taps on the stone dais as he takes a step forward. Several guards make as though to follow him, but a wave of his hand keeps them back.

The advisor stands slightly taller than the king, though as Hongjoong draws closer, it doesn’t seem as though he notices the difference at all. “I think I remember you, Advisor,” he says quietly, coming to a stop in front of the taller man. “I remember how eager you were to bow to my father’s whims, all so that you might have a chance to bring yourself closer to the throne.”

Not a single person breathes as the king takes another step forward. “Where is your daughter?” he asks quietly. A smile grows slightly on his lips as the advisor’s face pales. “I seem to recall her around my older brother every so often. Where did you take her when I killed him? I hope, for her sake, that it was somewhere far, far away.”

The advisor blanches.

Hongjoong laughs, taking the tiniest step back. “But worry not,” he says to a silent court. “I am not my father. I will not punish a family for a crime committed by one.”

His smile grows.

“But that does not mean that the one in question will have no punishment at all.”

Two cracks sound of a cane, lightning fast. Screams and gasps echo off the stone as the advisor falls to the floor, clutching his side in agony as blood runs down his face.

Hongjoong hefts the cane, wiping a drop of blood from his cheek. “My court is different from my father’s,” he announces. “I welcome dissenting opinion, but if you so much as hint at hurting my people for your own gain...”

As if on cue, the man folded over on the ground whimpers in pain. Hongjoong’s smile widens.

“Well, I don’t think I need to show you again just what might happen to you.”

5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?

Oh pretty much my semi-self insert & sailor moon oc Mia Hideno (Amethyst as a villain) 🤧 I mean it's also the one I have the biggest history with, and my 2nd most developed and thought out one after Evelyn(unless we speak lore/inspo wise where it's an equal footing) . Like imma be fr here I'm surprised that an anime/manga that named 90% and counting of its villains after minerals/gemstones there wasn't anyone in canon after that (like,,,it can be the sailor earth of villain ocs <3). Plus I'm very much set on how her story goes (with multiple endings.) So all I need is to resume my SM rewatch that was paused after aot pt.3 trailer was released and I'm on it! (⁠ﾉ⁠◕⁠ヮ⁠◕⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠*⁠.⁠✧

Evelyn: mostly just pretty and cute aesthetic pictures and philosophical/ motivational quotes. She doesn't have that much free time on her hands so when she does it rather be in a positive territory that doesn't drain her further. Although should she befriend anyone also continuously support whatever they make by sharing it with commentary.

Mia: exclusive art account. A close resemblance to the one I have myself indeed (semi-self insert indeed xD). Should she have a personal one kinda like Evelyn's but also a lot of character meta/analysis posts reblogged. For certain a villain apologist 😆

Cecille: mostly short personal posts, doesn't bother with anything that isn't pfp and a snarky line for the blog title. probably gets anon hate claiming her attitude is ass so she replies with one 🥱 (as in "ain't reading all that") and leaves it. (I love her 🤧)

Honestly nothing overly specific of an event considering I kept a lot about them to myself for a long time but,,, let's say these

For Mia just about how everytime I have a brainrot for her it's like the muse had struck me I had to keep a list if I burn out before doing them all so it can be pulled for next time 🤧💐

In Evelyn's case it's more recent knowing pretty much everyone I talk about her with is interested & likes her🥹. I mean that really gives me a chance to go and further ny writing skill and it's also nice to look in her tag and see old and new stuff

I've been wanting to make this for awhile, for the new people coming into my fandom but for anyone who's new in general

Now I am a newer Tumblr user (I joined in 2020 what a year) but I know how to get around here on the ole tumbles so if you are new and wondering "what the fuck is all this?" I'll show u a few tips

now the first thing I'd honestly recommend is to get involved with some kind of fandom. You don't have to be super into anything, but finding people who like things similar to you is a great way to start making friends! And honestly we have a fandom for almost anything, if u aren't into anything now you can probably look up any tv show or movie you watched in the last 20 years and someone will have made a post of it!

You don't have to be involved in a fandom but its a good way to meet people and see how we interact casually with one another if you are lurking for a little bit to learn

Now, second piece of advise, your blog.

Tumblr is a blogging site, and what you are probably used to refering ur profile, we call our blogs. It has ur pfp, header pic, maybe a couple of lines introducing urself, and then all of ur posts.

First thing I recommend is to change ur pfp, a lot of people base if u are a bot or not is if u use the default image as ur pfp. I suggest a character u like, an animal, a color, a flower, anything u like. I must warn you that I don't recommend u use ur own face. Number 1 some of the appeal of tumblr is anonymity, but 2, there are other bot blogs (such as porn blogs) that use real people as their pfp, and so some people may block u on site.

Now under your pfp you can put a couple of sentences in you blog, you can use this for anything. A lot of people put their preferred pronouns or maybe their age, or what fandoms their into, or maybe their patrons, or other blogs they run. What I recommend is that you dont put any personal info in here, especially if u are a minor. Don't specify ur age if your under like 18-21, if your under that just put minor.

next i want to talk about is cultivating your experience

Now you dont have to do this right away but if there is certain types of content that you know you don't like or you find triggering I suggest doing this. On Tumblr we use tags to organize our posts as well as to warn. You can block certain tags in your settings.

press this button on the top right of ur page (if you are on desktop, if on mobile it'll be the bottom right

then in the drop-down menu select Settings, then go to Account, then scroll down until you see the header, "Content you see"

(on mobile once you hit the lil person icon on your bottom right, hit the gear on the top right of you screen, then fo down until u see "Content you see, it'll take you to the same thing)

here you can block tags and filter content. There are two types of filtering, by tags and by content. By tags only will block posts by the tags they have, while content blocking will look through the entire post for blocked words or phrases.

I personally use blocked tags more but do whichever works for you. If you are going to block tags there are certain types of things to keep in mind.

For one, we use warning tags. Tags that are put in posts specifically to warn people of certain content that we know can be triggering. For warning tags there are three main ways that people tag them (there are more but these are very common), tw dogs, cw dogs, dogs . Now I'm using dogs as an example tag, but the preface of tw (trigger warning) and cw (content warning) are very common, and if you want to block a certain trigger i suggest that you block both of these along with just the word by itself. (Also spelling does count)

this works similarly with content blocking, but u dont use tw or cw. Just put down the words or phrases that you dont want to see.

now when you block a post u don't ever see it, rather it appears on your dash like this

it blocks out the whole post, tells you what tags or content that appeared for it to be blocked, and gives you a choice if you would like to see it anyways. This is how blocked posts will appear and you wont see the post at all unless you decide to view the post for yourself.

1. Why did you choose your URL?

Excellent question! I was switching interests (honestly, the Tolkien fandom is the only one I ever truly got any traction with, AND felt included, so it was a no-brainer), and I wanted something Tolkien themed - I've gone by the alias "Razzy" for like, ten years now, so I wanted to do something with that too. LOTR - Lord of the Razzles, of course!

3. How long have you been on tumblr?

I have been on tumblr since 2012, I used it sporadically at the time with reblogs of things I was into at the time (The Hobbit, Final Fantasy, Uncharted, other games etc), but really only started using it on a more steady basis back in 2018? Something like that. Still was sporadic until I dove headfirst into wanting to be a part of the Tolkien fandom in 2019/2020 <3

6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

Ever since I switched fandoms, I think I've always had some variation of Thorin as my icon? My current one though!!! A festive Dragon!Thorin based off my Beauty and the Beast AU as made by @mysandwichranaway!!! He did such an amazing job, didn't he???

9. How many mutuals do you have?

I had to go count. I have 116 mutuals - though there are a handful of them that are inactive, or there are side accounts that I follow that they follow back from their main blog, so it's really hard to tell. I wouldn't say the 116 I counted is an accurate number, but oh well.

13. How often do you use tumblr each day?

I check it a few times a day (sometimes the idea of "a few" fluctuates lol) if I'm busy it'll be less, if I'm bored it'll be way more.

Why did you choose your url?

I wanted to do something with Sixam and a bunch of other ones were already in use, so this is kinda the one I was stuck with because I thought was reasonably different from the ones people were actively using.

How long have you been on tumblr?

That's classified information! Let's just say that I had a different account that got a lot of usage before 2018.

Do you have a queue tag?

No, I can't be arsed to tag them. I only usually queue gameplay posts and people will get that they're queued when they're released 4 per day at regular intervals. I don't care that what someone's posting by queue and neither should my followers. If you want to know when I'm awake and using Tumblr no you don't. I'll reply to your inbox within 1-4 business days.

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

I wanted to post the very first version of the Sixam challenge rules on the MTS forums but the mods were being stupid about really lame details so I decided this would be a better place. I was right.

Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

I made a post at some point where the then-current colony queen Grubbenvorst was at a birthday party, thought it was a fun picture and never bothered to change it since.

Why did you choose your header?

I spent dozens of minutes on the hood icon for Planet Birch, I'd better use it!

Oh my heavens, I'm flattered. And I'm sorry it took me forever to respond! I was out of town and seeing family so I tried not to be on Tumblr that much. But I saw I got an ask and didn't have time to read it. I've had a sucky couple days (really fun to drive to another state to see family just to get horribly sick & then be nervous about spreading it when you go to a reception you know lots of elderly people will be at), and seeing this and reading what it actually says really made my day.

This ask blog thing we've got going for characters. I only use this for rp. And I used to rp before on another site but it...wasn't that great? People took it way too seriously. Like, they were more worried about a word count than the story and characters and having fun. And personally I find word counts to be the least important in rp (I do understand wanting to have long paragraphs in some rps but I would never get mad at someone for having 230 words instead of 250). So I stopped because that sucked. But if I can send an ask to you or another blog like yours, I get a little taste of rp in a way that doesn't suck. And I've had WAY more fun than I thought I would and it's become way more of a thing for me. It started out as just anon asks since I don't use my main blog, I only use a side blog. I went and made a whole new account for this because I was having fun.

Family. Had a family get together this week so I've been having fun with them. They're family I haven't seen in forever too (they live on the East Coast and I live in a Western state) so it's great. And I've been seeing family a lot more lately since I'm going to live out of the country temporarily and I have a few cousins doing similar things, so we've been seeing each other more often to make up for the time we won't see each other. But I just love my family. My relationships aren't perfect by any means. But I know they won't abandon me because of something big or small.

So, I'll be living in Brazil temporarily, and I know no Portuguese. So I've been using Duolingo to learn some basics. And I took five years of Spanish between middle and high school, but that was pre-covid and I've lost a lot of it since then. But it's almost like I'm relearning Spanish as I'm learning Portuguese. Because in some ways Portuguese feels like Spanish that is written completely differently and has a very different accent. So far with the most basic of the basics, I can understand Portuguese if spoken and I can kind of speak it (still trying to get the handle of Portuguese pronunciation instead of Spanish pronunciation), but reading and writing is so much harder because there's different characters and everything is spelled way different (yo vs. eu). But then there's words that look like they might be exactly the same (como and bebo) but so far Duolingo has only shown me the one conjugation so I don't know what's going on with anything else or what the infinitive is. But it's actually so much fun. I'm relearning one language while learning another. And I have a knack for languages in general and enjoying learning languages, so this is really fun for me.

Writing. Writing fanfiction is just so fun and therapeutic and makes my brain go insane with happiness. All of my fics are linked on my other account, and to be honest I don't know if they'd appeal to any of the people I've interacted with here (you wouldn't guess that I don't have any Doctor Strange fics, would you? Stephen is a big deal in one of my Loki fics though, and I'm planning out some fics for Stephen and variants, but from this blog you'd think Stephen is my favorite when he actually isn't! He is in my top 4 though! Loki, Bucky, Coulson, Stephen, order can vary. Now that I got that tangent out of the way...).

Food. I love food. And I love cooking. I don't normally talk religiously (yes, I am Christian, a minority in Christianity too, I was harassed on a side blog on my other account by someone saying that Christians can't be queer and they called me terrible things so I don't feel comfortable talking about it that often any more), but the fact that we have both the ability to taste and so many ingredients that can be cooked and combined in delicious ways, at least to me, is very strong evidence that God loves us. Currently in a big nutella thing. Also, since I'm going to Brazil, people having been giving me Guaraná Soda, this Brazilian pop that tastes amazing, and I may have been looking up where I can buy it in the States by my house. Sushi is also extremely delicious. And I could go on and on but I'll stop now to save you all time.

Thinking about how much of an impact gbf has made on my life and oddly enough it helped so much with my executive function- I used to just struggle to start tasks but somehow playing gbf has helped me figure out what to do next? And with that I can apply that to life and it works! (for the most part at least) TL;DR gbf ramblings and how I just really love gbf something wild ughuhruhgjfhugrhg it has brainwormed into my life forever

Of course I'm still working on things but gbf has inspired me so much to take better care of myself and to focus on goals- Like I know this sounds cheesy but it really changed my life LDSKJFDF I honestly don't think I would be the person I am without gbf as it's something that I've come back to after losing my old account around 2019 and I had to start over with a new account. THE POETRY OF GETTTING DARK EUSTACE AGAIN ON THE NEW ACCOUNT? Eustace was and is still my first love in gbf but I'm still thankful to Seox for being the introduction to gbf (thank you random forum user with the Seox pfp around 2016 for replying to somebody that your pfp was Seox from gbf, I would not have googled the game without you) Anyway the 10th anni is coming up- about a month away- and I'm already emotional lsdkfjsdf I've been with this game for almost 8 years counting both my lost old account and my current main account- I just really love gbf and what it has to offer. To be fair, I was seasonal for the first few years cause I didn't know how to manage grids and I learned over time how to use them (I still very much am in the "let's see if this works and if it doesn't then gotta try something else" level of grid understanding. LMAO) HOWEVER perseverance paid off and I feel more comfortable with grids now than I did before so that counts for something lsdkfjds THERE IS NO PROPER CONCLUSION TO THIS I JUST! REALLY! am thankful I got into gbf and became better because of it. That's it dfsdkfj

mainly just posted some stuff abt my nsfw discord server (still a wip) and how I want to use these alt accounts to post samples abt what's gonna be happening in the server, and how there's going to be a lot of LGBTQ+ stuff in there (tho it's mainly BL after thinking abt it)

also being a bit selective for once, since it's connected to my main account and I'm not too sure how everything's going to go, so I'm also going to be posting how to get into the server once I think abt it some more

Blog Reboot - Need your opinions

I have not been regularly posting on this blog for a very long time. The reason being that this has always been my Phan Tumblr account and now I'm not involved with either Dan or Phil. Not that I hate them, my interests have just shifted. I expect a lot of you feel the same, I can see it in this blogs follower count as well.

But there are still quite a lot of people following here whereas my personal blog has next to no people and I will never get any discussions going on there.

Sooo let this be your final warning if you want to defollow: I will rebrand this account soon (new name, new pfp etc.). I will mention my former name in the bio afterwards. Not sure how. Since my interests are varied this will not become another main fandom blog, instead it will most likely feature
