#Having a great time btw I've just been chased across a near sea of miasma by stal riders and more! 10/10 nearly died in a high speed chase #Made it out relatively unscathed which is truly amazing lmao #Spoilers ahead: I have had the funniest time doing the great plateau quest chain. Once I sucked it up and made nice with the creepy statue. #He's(?) been alright. Fair trader. Good deals. I've mostly been terrorising kohga in between absolutely failing to craft working vehicles X #His new boss fights are so much easier than the first one lol. Less fun I'll admit but the music is groovy. You can probably make a #Machine and try and dog fight him but with few exceptions the turning circles are decrepit so I just stuck to mild dodging and shooting him #And running over to hit him some more. Kinda bland for a boss fight I'll say. Could have done with a lot more pizazz. I have Sims 4 Undertale characters to and it's so funny when they do something totally in character like Sans died of laughter and Frisk begged the Grim Reaper to spare him and he did only for Sans to proceed to die of laughter AGAIN, Toriel was very upset and Papyrus was absolutely traumatized. Gaster revived Sans with one of the spells that came with Realm of Magic so everything was fine in the end, I am still laughing over it.

i just watched the new bbc famous five adaptation, and it's one of those shows that's absolutely terrible but in a really iconic entertaining way. it's so tonally weird and i have no idea why any of the decisions were made. i'm fascinated

#i watched it with my family and we all hated it but we had such a fun time watching it too #it's one of those shows you want to watch again just to try to analyse what the actual fuck was going through creator's minds #it basically starts off completely normal and kind of wholesome (apart from really bizarre opening credits) and then it gradually gets #weirder and weirder until it turns into the da vinci code or something and there's some secret passageway with a magic potion #that tells the future?! which turns out to be visions of world war 2 and drives the villain (who is played by some famous game of thrones #actor i think) insane. #oh and they introduced some weird backstory where the gang had a secret aunt who anne was named after who died as a child for some reason #oh and the kids find the dead body of timmy the dog's previous owner on the beach but none of them seem to care or are traumatised in any #way. they're just like well okay. timmy's ours now!! #it's all very very odd. but also entertaining and if you like shows that are terrible in an iconic way #except NOT if you're epileptic or autistic because the opening credits for some reason have some weird disco vibe with constant #flashing images because Reasons #it's just so iconically baffling and i need someone to write a video essay or a really snarky review about it or something

I've decided to watch The Last of Us in the same way I rewatch John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), which means I'm only watching the parts with the cool special effects and skipping literally everything else!

Like, I'm sure all of the grayish beige misery that makes up the rest of the show is quite well done, but I don't wanna see it.

The main character of the show I am watching is gonna be the fungus. Anything that is not the fungus is of no consequence to the plot line I am following. Fungus don't care if little girl dies. Fungus gotta fung! And fung it shall!!

The plot line I am following, by the way, is "me, Jack, getting better at horror art and monster design, which means if I like these effects enough I will go back through every episode and screenshot literally ALL the frames I liked and then arrange the best 40 or so on a grid in my art program so I can color correct them for optimal tracing and art study. And also sometimes Pedro Pascal is in my periphery lookin' cute." - It's one of my favorite shows!!! Small fandom tho.
