question from the warhammer wiki:
Tumblr media
who is neferata and why does her quote sound like she's threatening to fuck your wife
As i understand it neferata was one of the mortuary priestesses before becoming the first vampire and queen of lahmia. And I think she will fuck your wife.

Who is Abhorash?
Because as someone who knows a bit, but not too much about gotrek. I refuse to believe gotrek can loose a fight.
I refuse to believe that anyone who does not think gotrek can wipe the floor with big e, is not an extremely racist elf that is racist to dwarves as much as everyone else they (the hypothetical turboracist elf) are racist towards combined
So Abhorash must be fuckin op as hell
I mean, objectively, Gotrek is powered by a god in WHF, and is more or less a god in AoS, and has been powercrept over time due to his narrative presence in his own series. I also don't really enjoy matchups, because they lack a lot of context and narrative background and all kinds of things that play into two characters throwing hands. But anyway.
Abhorash was one of the first vampires. Specifically, he was the captain of the guard in Lahmia, one of the main Nehekharan cities. He was, by all accounts, one of the single most capable warriors and duelists of the age, and a very pure, very loyal person. He got tricked into becoming a vampire by Neferata (the woman who invented vampirism) and was verily unhappy. At the same time, his martial skill was elevated even further, and he became one of the best warriors of... every age. But, again, he was also deeply upset at being a vampire, and the people he'd killed when he'd first turned and gotten hungry. He swore to never kill an innocent person, and he mourned the people he'd killed genuinely.
So, he started off by only killing criminals and enemies of his city, but when the city fell (that was a whole other thing, he killed a lot of people during that whole affair, and defended it alongside the human inhabitants) that changed to criminals and worthy combatants. The best of the best. Champions, monsters, etc. He did this for centuries, if not millennia. The culmination of that was him slaying an enormous dragon in single combat and drinking the whole thing, which actually permanently cured him of his thirst. Dragons are a big deal in WHF, for the record. Very powerful, very scary. After that, he sort of vanished. Made friends with Gilles le Breton, though. They built an abbey together.
So yeah. Dude is, by all we know of him, one of the single greatest martial combatants in Warhammer Fantasy.

Hatchetfield OC emoji ask game!! (redux)
Hey folks, I polished up this old ask game of mine bc I wanted to do it again! Feel free to rb if you'd like to do this yourself! Remember to list out your ocs in the tags if you're playing, and specify which oc the question's about if you're sending in asks! I, personally, will be taking asks for my four ocs, Jasper Mckenzie, Ramona "Mo" Phillips, Neferata, and Nicolas Agresta-Chaput.
⭐ - Does your HF oc have a Touch of the Gift? If so, what's their power, and does anyone else know about it? If not, do they know anybody with a Touch of the Gift?
👪 - Does your HF oc have any relations to any canon HF characters, be it familial, platonic, romantic, or what have you?
🎵 - How would your HF oc have been infected during the events of TGWDLM?
🍯 - What does your HF oc do to celebrate the Honey Festival? If applicable, would they ever enter the Honey Queen pageant?
😈 - Which Lord in Black would be most likely to target your HF oc?
⛺ - Did your HF oc ever go to Camp Idonwannabang? If so, what was that like for them?
🪓 - On a scale of 1-10, how much does your HF oc enjoy living in Hatchetfield?
🤢 - What are your HF oc's thoughts on Clivesdale? Do they hate it as passionately as the rest of the town seems to, or are they just kind of ambivalent? Or- god forbid, do they actually feel positively towards the town on the other side of the Nantucket?
🎭 - If your HF oc were to appear in Hatchetfield canon, which cast member would you want to play them?
📝 - Did your HF oc go to Hatchetfield High or Sycamore?
🤓 - What is/was your HF oc like during high school? Were they considered cool, or just another nerdy prude? Did/do they have any teachers they were particularly fond of? Any notable clubs they were in?
👻 - Does your HF oc believe in any of the local Witchwood legends?
💰 - How would your HF oc have handled the events of Black Friday? How hard would they have fallen into Wiggly mania? Would they have survived?
💀 - How privy is your HF oc to the darker goings-on around town, like the shady work of CCRP or the Church of the Starry Children?
🌁 - Does your HF oc have any kind of reputation around town? Have they ever been the subject of townie gossip, or the center of a well-known town story, ala "Becky Barnes climbed a tree and stayed there for two days"?
✍️ - Have you written or are you planning to write any fics about your HF oc?
❗- Just name a random fun fact about your HF oc! It can be anything!

Finishes reading: Nagash Immortal.
This is the third book in the series and the fattest, for it covers almost two hundred years.
We begin with the true queen of Lamia, Neferata raising what she hopes is the key to ruling as a vampire eternal, prince Alcadazzar, the heir to the throne of Khmeir, she keeps him for some eighty years, trying to twist his mind to her will, but ultimately fails and he escapes.... Leading to the dark age of Lamia as she has the city scoured and random people tortured to find where the Prince is.
Meanwhile, War in the Cripple Peak Mountain as Nagash and Skaven fight tooth and claw over the warpstone, it is a back and forth that last decades.
But back to Nehekhara, Prince Alcadazzar is hiding amoung the bandit tribes, looking for some proof of Neferata's evil to rally the kings of the land to his side.... This takes nearly eighty years, after Nagash did a ritual to craft armour to save his body and the Crown of Nagash, one of the Vampires, seeing how Neferata was driving the kingdom into the ground, sent a vampire to negotiate with Nagash.
Our young prince caught and beheaded the vampire, Proving to the king's that shit was dark in Lamia.
Fear of another undead ruler unifies the kingdoms of Nehekhara and they destroy Lamia... But the vampires, nothing can be found.
So Alcadazzar plans for the coming of Nagash, building treaties and standing armies for the usurpers return... Nagash, who at this point had formed an alliance with the Skaven sends his army forth... Only for the unified king's to destroy it.
So Nagash decides fuck it, if he can't rule the living lands of Nehekhara, he will rule the dead, spending a decade, he has skaven drop magically prepared warpstone slabs in the main river, when compleat, the majority of water in Nehekhara is poisoned, killing thousands.
Alcadazzar is shattered as first his kids, then his wife fall I'll and die, as he is contemplating suicide, Nagash sends forth his armies again, killing all but the last king of Khmeir.
Oh no, Nagash has a plan for him, in a week long ritual, using Alcadazzar as a focus, he raises all the dead in Nehekhara, not just those killed in the plague, but the old kings, up to Setra himself, but this ritual drains Nagash to near nothing.
The Skaven, tired of the alliance, have spent the last few decades sitting on a weapon made for the sole purpose of killing Nagash, they take this potent weapon to king Alcadazzar, gifting him the Fell blade, with which the king uses to strike down Nagash, claiming the great necromancers crown and vanishing into the wilderness.
The skaven, not happy with Nagash being cut into tiny pieces, collect all the parts they can find and burn him in a warpstone furnace, where ashes float from, all the way to the Black Pyramid of Nagash and wait.
Wheeew, long summary, but like I said, this was the longest book and it was fun to read again.

Ushoran's loremasters video reveals he has moments of lucidity, enough to Scheme properly.
He manages to outwit Neferata's agents, and gain control of the "King's Blood" distribution.
Spicy.
....
Also some Stormcast believe Ushoran might be a source of curing "The Reforging Flaw".

This is a story based off of a game of Warhammer AoS, where I rushed in my VLoZD and got a lot of wizards killed:
As Karazai the scarred looked off at the approaching armies, he felt there was something wrong with the winds of magic this day. While not nearly in tune with the winds as his brother is, even he could tell something was wrong.
"Many things are wrong, this is merely a distraction, likely meant as an intimidation strategy from the foe." he thought to himself, as he observed those he was preparing to fight along side. While the usual armies of the Stormcast Eternals gathered around him, Orruks from the nearby badlands had also arrived to stand against the oncoming tide of undead, as well as the followers of Nurgle. Strange times made for strange allies indeed. He quickly banished the thoughts from his mind, however, as he saw another dragon surge towards, him, its rotten body pulsing and strengthened by necromantic might. Riding atop of it, a veiled woman, in a bloodstained wedding gown.
"Finally, some entertainment!" He thought, as he rushed to meet the undead monster in melee combat. The two dragons exchanged breaths as they grew close to one another, and beneath them, Karazai could hear the roars of battle, as the two opposing armies charged into one another. So enthralled by this sight, he almost missed Neferata charging through her trademark dark mists atop Nagadron. Almost. As fast as he was, however, and with two monstrous combatants bearing down on him, he was still the superior combatant. These fools, having neither the experience nor raw prowess to slay him here and now.
So why defend?
Taking advantage of an opening made by the sordid dragon, Karazai demonstrated why his deeds were legendary amongst those who have fought in Ghur, and ripped the vampire atop the dragon to shreds, and even managed to get a powerful hit against Neferata as well. He took a moment to admire his handiwork as the zombified dragon plummeted towrads the ground.
And a moment was all he was given, as the death of the vampire began a chain reaction that not even the great Son of Dracothian could have foreseen: The necromantic energies within the dragon erupted, creating a massive magical explosion, devestating the battlelines fighting below, and managing to injure Karazai himself. The chaos did not end there. Neferata, weakened already by her brief combat with the mighty dragon, was torn asunder, and quickly she too exploded in a plume of magical hellfire. And so too did the wizards brought fourth by the Orruks, the Stormcast eternals, and the remaining necromancers skulking around the battlelines of the undead, each and every one, torn apart by a magical explosion, each one unleashing one upon their demise. As the chain reaction stopped, Karazai looked around the battlefield, confused. Never had he seen anything quite like this, never did he wish to see it again. The armies of the undead had been entirely wiped out, as well as significant portions of the Orruk and Stormcast forces. What remained of Nurgles forces on the Ghurish plain had turned tail and begain to flee. Sensing no reason to stay here, the remaining Stormcast forces turned to return to Azyr, as the remaining Orruks pursued the fleeing Nurglites. There would be no great battle fought here today, only the scars and remnants of foolishness.

I was only joking about starting shipping wars in Warhammer, but I think there's only two(?) canon couples in Fantasy: Alarielle/Tyrion and Vlad/Isabella
Some are suggested but not outright confirmed: Arkhan/Neferata (possibly just Arkhan crushing) and Karl Franz/Emmanuelle von Liebwitz (rumored in the Empire)
Felix Jaeger has multiple romantic relationships across the Gotrek & Felix books, but he's a womanizer and kinda simped for Queen Khalida in one book
Of course, we have Queek/Ska, but that's fan speculation based on how uncharacteristically loyal Ska is (because the rats ain't loyal)
