I will start this post with a comparison. Just to show how much they did the lovesquare dirty.

PV Lovesquare: Bridgette loves Felix but he rejects her - Chat Noir loves Ladybug but she rejects him

CG Lovesquare: Marinette loves Adrien but "she's just a friend" - Chat Noir loves Ladybug but she rejects him.

Which is more logical to you ? Obviosuly the PV. It has been stated that the love square is identical to a "yin yang" relationship. Heck, even the original Miraclebox has a yin yang in the main miraculouses's place. Ironically, their relationship in the show is just very confusing. That's not yin and yang. They're supposed to be equal. And it is the complete opposite in the show. Their relationship isn't the same in and out of costume (Mari suffers from friendzone while Chat suffers from rejection). And Ladybug constantly treats Chat Noir like trash, belittling him, etc. Wait, that's not Ladybug. That's Astruc, the same man who ruined this show because of MONEY. Fuck money. I don't care if the show wasn't going to be popular among kids, can he predict the future ? And of the fuck refuses and invitation from fucking TOEI. The SAME studio which animated a TON of magical girl shows. Heck, even Sailor moon, the most popular magical girl anime ever !!! One piece, Dragon ball Z, AND Sailor Moon, those were all EXTREMLY POPULAR AMONG KIDS !!!

Going back to the PV; I prefer their relationship there because it's based on them being polar opposites. Take that: Bri is a happy teen, Felix is just well, depressed. Ladybug takes Bridgette's FREEDOM away, while Chat Noir gives it to Felix. See the pattern here ? There's a lot more, but OK, I'll stop there.

Thomas, Jeremy, and all of their crew are just money hungry. They treat MLB as a money-machine. It's just soulless ! Where is Season 1 ? Where is the top-tier SAMG animation ? Where is the expressivity in the characters ? In the PV ! Seriosuly, thay have no more excuses now.

(What if Hawkmoth won in Miracle Queen?)

-Dragonbug and Snake noir had just managed to de-akumatize Miracle Queen. But She still had the miraclebox.

-they de unified.

-Fu was doing his best to hold off the Sentimonster, but he was at his limit.

-Ladybug's Lucky charm was... a key. And she had no idea what it was for.

-Fu... couldnt hold out and the shield broke. He was too old... and he felt his body was drained.

-"I... I ..." Fu tried to declare Ladybug the new guardian. But he was too weak. He detransformed and lost consciousness.

-"You did your best Guardian. But I win."

-Ladybug and Chat noir realized the situation. They were down a miraculous. Their master was captured and it was over.

-Chat noir saw Ladybug freeze up. Well he had to act.

-Ha grabbed her hand.

-"We need to leave."

-"But master..."

-"We cant save him right now..."

-Ladybug knew that he was right.

-She looked at the key.

-"Get everyone's miraculous."

-Chat noir snagged the monkey, horse and fox miraculous just before. She casted miraculous healing. Everything returned to how it was. Save for the locations of the miraculous.

-Hawkmoth smiled.

-"Your plan failed and you wont escape this time Ladybug and Chat noir."

-He commanded Mayura to send the sentimonster after them... but she passed out. Over use of the peacock miraculous finally took its toll. It distracted them long enough for Ladybug to take the horse miraculous and unified with it. Using it to get them out of there. Hawkmoth won the battle but the Ladybug and Cat miraculous were still out there.

-He decided to change plans. He grabbed the weakened Guardian and Mayura.

-"Queen bee. Hand over the miraculous box."

-"I can keep the bee miraculous right?"

-"That was our deal."

-Chloé put the other miraculous in the box and tossed it to Hawkmoth.

-The villains left and Chloé felt smug. Sure she would have loved to completely beat ladybug and Chat noir for what they did. But she got to keep the bee this time. Thats a victory in itself.

-Ladybug and Chat noir ended up in Shanghai. It was as far as the heroine can think to go. Specifically the cave where the prodigious were stored.

-"We failed... I failed... If I didnt... Hawkmoth wouldnt have won. I doomed Paris."

-Chat noir could tell she was devastated.

-"No, he hasnt won yet. We still have our miraculous. We have some of the other miraculous. We still have a fighting chance."

-"But he has Fu! He can unlock the secrets of the miraculous."

-"True. But Fu wont give it to them without a fight. We have time."

-Ladybug looked at her partner.

-"Its still us against the world."

-He offered a fistbump. But she hugged her cat partner.

-In that moment they could both really use a hug... and their miraculous timers went off. They had been beeping the whole time and they were so busy in the situation they didnt notice.

-Marinette and Adrien took notice of the true face of their civillian partner.

-"Marinette?"

-"A-Adrien!"

-The adrenaline still hyped up.

-"You have been sitting behind me the entire time."

-" And I had been staring at the back of your head the entire time!"

-They both look at eachother and for the first time since this situation happened... they actually laugh.

-They had a LOT to unpack. But right now. For this brief moment. They would just enjoy something positive.

Wouldn't it also be enlightened to blame the Miraculous "order" for having a 10 year old kid starve just to "guard" something

Well, if you remember Furious Fu (or Monster Fu, I never know the real name of that episode), even Su Han who is a Celestial Guardian was in disbelief and preoccupied that the Kwamis were in the hands of "children", especially since it goes against the very principles of the Order.

Su Han (Eng Dub) : That just proves what I was saying all along. Neither you nor Fu were up to the role of Guardian. Cause neither of you has respected the ancient absolute rules of our Order. Not to mention the fact that no child should be a keeper of Kwamis. There are ultra powerful cosmic entities! Ones must be managed with authority which you are obviously incapable of doing!

Yet, despite all this, Marinette manages to gain his trust and keep the MiracleBox. Wanna know why?

Su Han : This is proving two things. The first thing is you have the audacity to invent your own rules and as crazy as it might seem... somehow, they all work. The second thing is that your natural instincts tell you who you can trust. An essential quality for a Guardian. Whiny Chicken... Sorry. Master Fu may not have made such a bad choice after all

Su Han decides to have faith in Marinette. After seeing her in action, he believes she has the skills to be a Guardian despite her young age and lack of training. She may bend rules and think outside the box, but she ultimately delivers. And when she messes up, she tries to fix her mistakes however she can and learn from them.

Obviously, we all agree Marinette is taking a big risk, but she has to do something to prevent a similar situation to happen again. And while some details about the enemy may allude her, stopping to give Alya her Miraculous won't protect neither of them. All they can do is prepared themselves however they think it is fit giving the current context. Thus why Marinette is also willing to share everything she knows to Alya.

And while, it didn't bother me Marinette took that decision by herself, I too sure hope she will inform Chat Noir about Rena Rouge's situation soon so we avoid another Syren and also so he too is prepared. Not to mention, the episode hinted us how like her Lucky Charm, Chat Noir helps LB comes up with her plans. Even through his jokes and direct approach.

Also, people tend to take episodes as if they were written chapters. However, unlike chapters that can be any length needed, episodes have time constraints. The story must fit in 22 minutes. Optigami focus on developing Ladybug and Alya's relationship along with giving sights the Bad Guys plot to raise tensions. Some things are hinted but are just too important and need a different episode for the subject or theme to be tackle on.

But we can be sure of one things : this decision alone will have a lot of impacts for episodes of the second half of the season.

Yeah it’s not obvious at first but from what I gathered, both episodes are parallels and happen at the same time but from Marinette and then Adrien’s perspective ! So the Marinette at the beginning hasn’t broken up with Luka yet! I guess it could be a few minutes before he arrives since we see Chat Noir leaving her a message for her missed patrol and the kwamis are already out of the miraclebox? (though it is confusing how it’s done I agree!)

So I hadn't actually hammered out the whole thing but we had at least two different.... tiers? Sets? Something.

The Bear was part of an Elemental Set, so Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and our bonus Aether/Spirit/Quintessence/whatever you wanna call it.

There was also going to be a Sins Crew set.

New York Special Reaction

This Special was, in my opinion, more than welcome. There’s so much to say, and this episode was so much filled with emotion turmoil that I felt like I needed to write this reaction post.

The beginning credits shows Ladybug with her Miracle Box, so this sure takes place after season 3

It also shows the American MiracleBox. Chronologically wise, that means that the Temple of the Guardians that has been destroyed 200 years ago didn’t house every Miraculous in the same place

Like the fact that they can power up by eating the power up food themselves. Removes the headcanon that Adrien is lactose intolerant since I don’t think Plagg will accept to power up with anything than Camembert. He doesn’t like power ups after all

The yellow rose scene is just cute and heart warming. He wants to give LB roses, so he tries his best to find the kind of rose she will accept, and she does. She also mess with him and he bites :3

I see affection between these two. Affection, but love? Not so much...

The cat plushie is a really cute thing I hope to see in the future, and while Chat was feeling down, it improved his mood pretty quickly. 

Plagg and Adrien are just so cute together. Plagg might not show it, but he really loves his kitten!

Marinette babbling to Luka about Adrien, and Luka just listens and smiles... Luka’s a really good guy and friend to Marinette. There is more affection in Lukanette than in Adrigami...

EDIT: I also forgot to talk about Nino’s voice. I’ve learned after watching the episode that this was a new VA, but since English isn’t my native language, I didn’t noticed at first. After watching it again for my reaction post, his voice sounded just a little deeper and softer (to me). Makes me think that Nino’s hitting puberty 😅

My honest opinion: great story, awesome animation, character development, story and powers elaboration.... Season 4 needs to be good...

Ya'll I don't care what happens in Chat Blanc because the theories with Bunnyx and Ladybug going to a "what if" future to fight Chat Blanc gave me an idea.

-Imagen an AU with Ladybug detransforming and then Chat Blanc finds her but instead of attacking here he goes all cuddly and happy because hell yes his princess is back???My Lady who????

-Marinette freaks out but ultimatly ends up just sticking with the situation.

-Bunnyx freaks out when she sees Marinette with Chat Blanc right behind her.

-"He just wants to play!"

-She keeps Blanc around

-He comes with her to the present

-He can't remember what happend before he turned into Chat Blanc (fight me on this one)

-Cut to Marinette trying to handle her double life with a very protective white cat in it

-Chat Blanc is always where Marinette is

-Everyone freaks out seeing a white Chat Noir staying with Marinette

-"It's a long story"

-Chat Blanc sleeps on her balcony or chaise

-Chat Blanc started talking to the akuma and threatend Hawkmoth even worse than Lila if he ever dares to go after his princess again

-Gabriel never dared to send another akuma after Marinette

-Marinette loves her kitty -who threatend a terrorist and a 14 year old liar- a lot

-He absolutely wanted to cataclsym Adrien for being stupid and blind during Loveater

(yes he wants to cataclysm his deakumtized civillian self)

-Instead of running away Marinette asks Andre to make her an icecream of her own

-She gets Lemon and Blueberry

-Happy Marinette = Happy Chat Blanc

-Fight with Loveater would go the same but instead of breaking down in front of Luka it's in front of Chat Blanc

-Chat Blanc says fuck wasp rights and just runs away while carrying Marinette bridal style

-Blanc assists Dragonbug and Snake Noir in the fight with the other miraculous users

-Rest goes like in canon

-In the end scene everyone still gets icecream

-She gets Lemon and Blueberry yet again

-Lots of cuddles for her favourite white kitty

-People got used to having Chat Blanc around so noone is suprised when he's there

-Luka plays music for everyone

-Adrien is still jealous because he gets no cuddles

-Blanc is not allowed to help in akuma fights.

Marinette's order.

-After Miracle Queen he watches over the miraclebox during akuma attacks

-He ends up in a relationship with his princess before his counterpart does

-He gets even more cuddles but now that includes kisses

-Happy white kitty
