Hii i got two questions about Mertyl. How tall do you think he is?

Tbh I think he is about 6,5ft or even more

Second question: Do you think Mertyl has some kind illnees besides him not adapting to the fairy rome.

okay so i got super into the whole “how tall is mertyl” question, and i have a good analysis i think

so lets take a look at some photos

im comparing mertyl to sixtus here, since hes the only one we can have a educated guess on for height. since he looks so similar to little king, we can assume he is 5’3.

taking into account perspective on the page (it seems sixtus is further away than mertyl?), i can guess hes is about a foot taller than sixtus, placing him at 6’3

heres another photo of the two. sixtus is further away from the camera and is also at a weird angle, but again, i feel like its around a foot difference (give or take a couple inches)

ill also use nasiens as an example. according to the (questionable) wiki, he’s 5’4. mertyl isn’t standing up straight here, and neither is nasiens, but if i had to guess, id say theres like just under a foot difference. maybe around 6’1?

so id say he’s between 6’0 even and 6’3!

as to answer your second question, i dont think myrtle has an illness or anything. he seems perfectly fine except for his asthma-like symptoms, which of course are because of the fairy realm. i feel like if he lived outside of the realm, he’d have no issues at all.

About the demon thing it more like what if question. Not that I think it could possible in canon.

Besides i kind like the idea sixtus and Mertyl creating their own platoon what do you think or do you think they should join one of the platoons that we already have?

Speaking of platoon do you see lancelot as member of the percy platoon?

I know about what if. But even then it would not be possible what with the age unless you want to put time travel in it. Then it would become a mess and half.

Then about the platoon. The platoon is the group that work with a certain knight of the apocalypse. Like Tristan or Percival Platoons.

If they creat a platoon it would be Lancelot platoons because out of the four knight he is the one that they have the most connection to them.

Then Lancelot if he have a platoon or not he would still be a honorary member of platoon. What with him spending that much time with them.

Ok, so in the chapter 146 we finally have the reveal of how everything happened. And, not to my surprise (together with many others), King did try using the Drug of Yore in Mertyl.

Didn't work, but they tried. That's what counts.

It was the best way to reveal all the history of the changeling incident. No rush, no fight - just the truth and a hug.

Diane didn't fight against him because, ever without the ability to read hearts, she knows her son's heart.

That's probably the most sad and happy image of the chapter.

Nasiens is probably already connecting all the points (Mertyl anger towards him; the attention of Diane and King; Tioreh telling that Mertyl was human to him).

Tioreh is happy that Mertyl, her big brother, is back to normal. But she's also worried about Nasiens, her other big brother.

How is he feeling? What's he feeling?

Is Nasiens happy? Has he already understood that they are brothers? That they are family?

Ok, so the lizard man totally misunderstood Mertyl's heart. What he wished the most.

Mertyl never truly cared about being human, he only cared about being King and Diane's son. He only cared about being a member of his family.

All his anger was coming from his fear of being abandoned. Of not being enough.

Of course, it don't makes what Mertyl did to Nasiens right - but it does give him a excuse for his behavior towards him.

He needs to give Nasiens an apology for his behavior.
