A July Miracle for Christmas – December ’23 Short Story

It has been a very busy year, I was happy to find time to write a short story for the holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It was the middle of July and Diana was writing, or at least attempting to write, a Christmas story. Which was very difficult to do. She was finding it difficult to write about snow, cold, feasting and treats while her air conditioner struggled to keep the heat of day out of her house. Wait, not difficult, 'challenging', as the editor might tell her. A lovely older gentleman, Mr. Wainwright, but sometimes his positive view was a real downer.

Leaning back in her chair, she sighed, trying to figure out which beginning she should start her story with.

The light of the evening star twinkled in the winter sky. Eleanor looked up, thinking of her wish for her son and his Christmas. A simple wish, for him to recover from the accident, but not a simple one to help with. Tears slid down her face as she made her wish and hoped for a Christmas miracle.

It was a cold morning on Christmas eve outside the little church. The scene looked like a picture for a Christmas card, with newly fallen snow in an unbroken blanket around the church and in the little village. The scene was broken only by a small child, walking the street and shivering the cold. She only had a thin jacket wrapped around her and her shoes were in tatters around her feet. In her hands she held a tiny kitten, also shivering in the bitter cold. She knocked on the church door and then stood waiting for someone to open the door.

All around the people of the city hurried on their last minute errands. The young man was immediately noticeable as he walked in the crowds, head down, slowly moving towards some unknown goal. While everyone around him seemed filled with holiday spirit, he appeared empty and bereft amidst the crowds. As he walked, he held up a photo of a young woman, appearing to smile up at him. "Melissa," he whispered as he trudged down the street. He had wanted to be with her for Christmas, but he had failed her, again. Only some kind of Christmas miracle would save him.

Diana looked at the page and wished she used a typewriter for her writing. It would have been more satisfying to rip a sheet of paper out of the machine, crumple it up and throw it away than it was to hit delete and remove those sorry paragraphs from her life. Christmas miracles, divine intervention, children and family in trouble, all of those standard stories that sold well but were boring to write up. She wanted to write something original, something fresh and all she could come up with was tropes and used up story lines.

Looking at the clock, she decided it was time for a break. Her family would be back home soon, from a visit to the beach, so she wanted to see if a pause in her writing would inspire some newish idea for her story. There was still time to make the deadline but she had been struggling with this story for several weeks now. She wasn't ready to fall back on one of those musty old tropes but if she couldn't come up with something this afternoon it would be time to admit defeat in her quest for originality.

Grabbing her sun hat, a bottle of water, and car keys, she went out to her car. Her favorite place was normally in walking distance but with today's heat she decided to take her car. When she opened the door it felt like she had opened the oven up, except this door opened to the outdoors. She carefully opened up her car and quickly started it up along with the air conditioning. Fortunately her car cooled down quickly so she didn't feel like a boiled lobster for too long.

A few minutes later, she was parked and ready to walk on the trail she liked. The trail had lots of shade, so it was hot but not heat stroke hot. The parking lot was empty and Diana felt a bit of joy. She had noticed that hot days like this was like cold winter days up north. Most people preferred to stay inside while she liked to get outside and enjoy the quiet and time away from people things. There was even a quiet of a hot day that was similar to those snowy days she remembered from child hood. Nothing stirred, not even birds, and the only obvious sound was the compressors of air conditioning units as they cycled on and off.

Getting out of her car and walking to the trail reminded her of how hot it was. However, she also felt a weight lifting from her, as it usually did, when she had time to walk and get away from all the distractions of home and family. Walking under the trees, the shade felt good, even if the temperature wasn't that much cooler. She took a swig of water to stay hydrated and continued walking to her favorite place. The only sights and sounds were her foot steps on the dirt path, the dust swirling up slightly as she took each step. The leaves hung down from the trees, with no movement in the still summer day.

By the time she reached the overlook, sweat was pouring out of her and she was glad she had brought her water bottle. Turning the corner she saw the view and her bench. She also saw a person, an older lady sitting on another bench in the shade of the trees. Surprised to see someone, she continued walking to what she considered her bench. It was positioned under the trees and had a view of a pond and trees to provide shade. She looked over the woman sitting across from her and her surprise grew. The woman was old, very old and looked like she belonged in a nursing home, not a park bench overlooking a pond. Also, how had the woman gotten here, she wondered. Shrugging, she decided to ignore her and hoped the woman wouldn't decide to share her troubles with her. Diana seemed to have the kind of face that invited people to share their problems with her. However, the old woman kept looking out at the pond so Diana gratefully sat down to enjoy the quiet.

Looking out at the trees and the pond she felt a bit of peace. Her life had been very chaotic lately and this short story was the latest example of chaos in her life. She had been working on her novel, the third book in her series, when Mr. Wainwright had called to ask a favor. His regular writer was out sick and he needed a Christmas story to finish out the November/December issue he would be publishing in a few months. Diana had agreed, thinking it would be an easy break but it was turning out to be a nightmare. Her husband was having problems at work and the twins were, well, they were twins who liked to challenge the teachers at school. The family had been planning for a summer vacation but with her story, summer camp for the twins and her husband's busy schedule, the vacation had been delayed, again.

Lost in thought, Diana was trying to make sense of everything and come up with a story when the old woman spoke.

"Good to see you here. You come here often, don't you?" the woman asked.

Diana was startled, she had forgotten another person was here. "Uh, yeah, I guess so. It's a good place to take a break. Usually there isn't anyone else here when I come at this time of day," Diana added.

The woman chuckled and said, "I understand, you live a busy life and needed some quiet, not some old lady talking about her troubles."

"No, no, I just like to, uh, I just needed a break, it's okay," Diana answered.

"Well never mind, I'll leave you to it. I did want to let you know that it will work out in the end, even if it doesn't look like it. And you'll find your story, probably here on this bench," the old woman said.

"Story? What story? What do you know about… Never mind," Diana answered. She was uncertain now, this seemed like a strange coincidence for the old woman to mention writing a story. Maybe she was a fan and knew Diana because of her author picture. "So do I know you? I don't think I've met you," Diana asked.

"Hmm, we haven't met, although I do know a lot about you. Normally it would've been hard for us to meet, but this opportunity was offered so I decided to take it. It's about time for me to move to the next adventure so I wouldn't have another chance to meet you," the old woman answered.

Diana's puzzlement grew and she wondered if the old woman had wandered off from a nursing home. Glancing up, she looked for one of the sheriff's helicopters flying while announcing an alert about a lost person. No helicopter, just the old woman smiling at her, while she thought for a moment.

"What's your name?" Diana asked.

"Let's see, you can call me Dee, that will work for right now. Anyway, I don't have much more time, and you have a story to write up. I just wanted to tell you that you will do great things that you are proud of and not so great things that you wish you hadn't. You will find success and failure, both when you least expect it, and you will always wonder why they happened to you. Most importantly, you will have a community of friends and family to support you as you live a long life and stumble your way through it." The old woman, Dee, stood up, nodding at Diana. "It was good to meet you, I am so proud of all you've done and will do with your life." Dee smiled at Diana and it was as if she became a young woman in that moment, ready to walk into a life filled with marvelous things.

Diana found herself smiling back, feeling younger herself as that wonderful smile filled her with good cheer. She also wondered what was going on. She started to get up when a wind started to blow, pushing against her. Sitting back down, she covered her eyes as the wind carried dust and debris and swirled it around her. A dust devil but a larger one than she had seen before. The wind lasted a few moments and she worried about Dee and if she was alright.

The wind stopped and Diana blinked her eyes, looking around the sitting area. Eyes opening wide, she was the only person there, Dee was no longer standing or sitting in the area. Troubled, she stood up and looked around for some sign of the woman. Nothing moved in the heat of the day and there was no sign anyone else had been there. She walked to the trail and looked for foot prints but she only saw her prints from her walk. It was like Dee had never existed.

Diana felt troubled and decided it was time to go back. Perhaps she was having hallucinations due to the heat. Another drink of water, bigger this time, while she walked back to her car. The trail was empty and silent, and she only had thoughts for company.

Back at her car, she unlocked the door and got in. While turning on the engine, she realized she had a story idea for her Christmas story. She thought it might even be a bit original, or at least a little different from stories about snow and ice. She also wondered about Dee and who she might be. A part of her mind thought she knew who it was, but she pushed that aside. She seemed to hear a whisper in her ear, from Dee. "Miracles don't happen only at Christmas." Shaking her head, she backed up the car and started driving home. She suspected that one day she would meet Dee again and it looked like it would be a long time before that happened.

⋆ what’s your phone’s wallpaper ? wallpaper is a photo of when i met D’Arcy Carden the first time. I was cheesing really hard. She’s so wonderful, and all of the glittery amazing things you would expect, and more. my lock screen is when i met Jessica Chastain the second time. also, ultimate cheesing. she’s....i mean, obviously incredible.

⋆ the last song you listened to ? ‘true blue’ by boygenius. im seeing them next week and pretty stoked, so this playlist will be filling my ears until then. i’ve seen julien, and phoebe before, but not lucy (who i love, love, love.) super excited. i’m also dying my hair grey and dressing like phoebe in the music video...because i’m THAT person. nobody asked for these written out answers, but here you have it.

⋆ currently reading ? i have this habit of reading like five books back to back super fast, and then not reading for a handful of months after. however, i began Lauren Graham’s book, ‘Have I told you this already?’ I love her so much. Excited to pick it up again and finish it. Gilmore Girls for life, am i right ??

⋆ last movie you saw ? I think it was the live action Little Mermaid. Halle was amazing. Also, Melissa slayyyyyyed. Truly.

⋆ last show you watched ? Mindhunter. Doing a rewatch, because my girlfriend never saw it, and i have a deep, deep love for Anna Torv.

⋆ what are you wearing right now ? a smol navy tank top with green, white and yellow stripes on it, with highwaisted black mom jeans that still smell heavily of Le Labo, Santal 33 (iykyk...) as i wore these two days ago...and didn’t wash them. judge away if you must. haha

⋆ how tall are you ? five-four and a quarter. the quarter matters. my girlfriend is shorter than me, and makes me feel so tall.

⋆ piercings / tattoos ? i have my ears pierced traditionally. i’d like to get a couple more on my ears, but i got my ears pierced as a baby, and the unknown feeling freaks me out a lot. tattoos, i think last i counted was 19...which is wild...because it doesn’t seem like that many. i have a need for more. soon.

⋆ glasses / contacts ? glasses. i have trouble seeing far away. i don’t wear them a ton. which reminds me, i need to replace a screw in one of my pairs.

⋆ last thing you ate ? pasta. it was for breakfast. shh. i know, it’s wild. then i wonder why i have acid reflux.

⋆ favorite color(s) ? cerulean. which, as a kid...i thought it was called ‘chlorine.’ also, burnt orange, mustardy yellow, chartreuse. i think as i’ve gotten older, i’ve grown a wider love for colors in general. i used to hate green, but now i love.

⋆ current obsession ? sitting outside. i think it’s because i’m from michigan, and moving to somewhere where it’s all sunny all of the time has been wonderful to feel. not to quote boygenius, but, ‘winter bitch, but summers in my blood.’ i’m also just so in love with D’Arcy Carden, Succession.... i’m scheduling my grief. it ended so deliciously, but i’m going to miss it so, so much. Speaking of grief, yellowjackets, and Ted Lasso !! also, beyonce’s renaissance album is forever my obsession. super excited to see this tour.

⋆ do you have a crush right now ? you mean...besides miss D’Arcy Carden... who wrapped her arms around me, and looked at my girlfriend and said, ‘sorry girlfriend!’ ....and then i embarrassingly told her she was my hall pass.... mmm yeah. no. that’s the only crush, right now. sorry girlfriend !

⋆ favorite fictional character ? ooo. that’s downright tough. probably Villanelle, from Killing Eve.

⋆ last place you visited ? spontaneous trip to Los Angeles a few days ago for a lovely, sparkly, concert.

Today’s meal collection is truly remarkable and a bold experience that will tingle all of your senses. When you’re sat in this restaurant the atmosphere immediately makes you truly hungry; a desire only saved for especially grand meals. A hunger you feel deep in your belly. The scents wafting from the kitchen will only make you more ravenous. Anxiously waiting for your turn is almost unbearable and just when you think you can’t wait any longer the waiter makes a stop at your table. You’re virtually uninterested in small talk due to your greed. Only a few moments later you’re able to order an appetizer and you couldn’t be more excited.

A simple Salmon and Lime taster. White wine is ordered in a fleeting attempt to satiate your stomach. When the first plate arrives you hesitate diving in, the meal is a work of art and to eat it would be to destroy it. But just like Eve the apple is just too delicious to pass up. This plate features thinly cut raw salmon, your waiter makes the comment that its wild caught fish which you hardly register in your own stupor. The slices are dressed with lime slices and fresh herbs creating an earthy flavor. A side salad of arugula is also combined to simulate the tastes of fresh raw foods, simple but impactful. A creamy dill dip is served as well though it is optional. However you’re smarter than that, everything has its place on the plate and all flavors lend to a full rounded meal. This dish is so simple but so bold in flavor that it punches you in the face. You’re pleased and eager to taste more.

One and a half glasses of wine are finished before your entree comes running towards you. This plate is aptly named The Heart of the Sea. On the center of the plate a hearty pan fried black cod filet is placed on a pillowy bed of risotto.The tender fish and the creamy risotto just melt in your mouth. A pleasant mush you ravage. A white wine sauce coats the bottom of the plate creating a delicious pool for this meal. (Maybe the same wine you’ve sipped on all night though that's only speculation on your part.) A colorful mix of seasoned sliced tomatoes are paired on the side.Thickly cut and wholly organic bringing around the earthy essence from the first course. Again fresh herbs top this dish serving as both decoration and aroma. You are stuffed and happy but unsure if you could eat another delicacy but what's a great dinner without an equally great dessert. Certainly not a dinner I’d engage in.

Grandma’s specialty is set in front of you and the fullness you felt before has completely vanished. This dessert features a delicate puff pastry filled with a seasonal fruit puree. The pastry is topped with a chocolate drizzle and a cold scoop of french vanilla, giving homage to a home baked delicacy. On the side we have sliced strawberries. A dusting of powdered sugar and cacao to finish off the plate. Every bite of this desert reminds you of an upscaled version of your grandmother's berry pie. A warm slice topped with store bought vanilla. Finishing off your plate and your final glass of wine wraps up this experience. An experience you’ll be thinking about for years, craving violently every once in a while. What’s a good meal if not indulged sporadically. This meal must be classified as a sin and you’d be committing a great one by being greedy and ruining the celebration.

The check is paid and the ordeal is over. Sitting around for a while and basking in your full glory to finish off the night. People watching now that the hyperfocus is gone. Couples chatting, families arguing and servers running frantically to please everyone in the hopes of getting a good tip. Some people think eating out isn’t anything special but the gathering of people, hundreds even for a common cause is certainly special. Good food brings people of all backgrounds together and restaurants are a perfect place to observe this. Arguments are settled, quick kisses are shared, and front staff fanning themselves fervently. You never quite realized how loud the atmosphere was until you were finished. Excitement and sleepiness rise again as you exit the building, shoes clacking loudly behind you with every step seemingly solidifying the completeness. An amazing meal to match an even better night. You’ll sleep wonderfully tonight, waking up only to crave the extravagance again.

Hi there! My name’s Michael and I made this blog because I took a funny little interest in First Ideas’ Webheads toy line from the early 2000s. They’re a fascinating group of computer and internet themed toys, meant to be monitor companions and photo frames. Now out of active production and circulation and never reaching popularity, the Webheads line has faded into obscurity, and in many cases presents a mystery. What happened? Why is there so little information online about them? Where did they go?

While I’ll be trying to dig up more about them, what I know for now is that there are 16 total dolls listed on the archived iwebheads.com via the wayback machine, several of which have no available photos beyond blurry thumbnails for their bios, and who present both an interesting cast of characters, and a fun look back into the early days of the internet.

At the end of season 3, two significant Incidents happen, and Ben’s wife dies in the first incident, proving to be very painful for Ben. The cast of 'Manifest.' Canadian actress Melissa Roxburgh led the 'Manifest' cast for all three seasons on NBC. This, of course, means that 'Manifest' only got halfway. In the finale of Manifest season 3, the author has enthralled the audience with his story, creating such suspense in the story that everyone is eagerly waiting for its fourth season. saw a dude today when I was out who istg looked JUST like jr bourne and he was driving a big red truck that had a huge ornament wreath on the front of the car and it got me thinking abt chris trying to celebrate the first christmas after allison's death and how hard it would be for him bc it was her favorite holiday and she always insisted on decorating every inch of the house and yard so he doesn't decorate this year, doesn't have the strength to, at least not by himself, until one day scott comes over unannounced with extra decorations from deaton's and his mother's stash and looks so eager even through the sadness that chris can't help but say yes and the two decorate while sharing memories of allison during christmas since she was able to have one with scott and chris shows him the photo with the mall santa and a toddler allison glaring at the camera that he always laughed at and it hurts to remember and see the house decorated without having allison there to direct him where to put what but she's there with them in the homemade ornaments and the peppermint mocha cookies stiles brings over a few days later and the matching ugly sweater lydia swore she'd never wear again and the bow and arrow kira manages to fashion out of a few sticks for the snowman in the front yard and in the joy the pack and the season manages to bring even with her gone

eventually it becomes tradition for the whole pack and their families to celebrate christmas eve at the argents'

everyone is there, lydia and her mom, kira and her parents, stiles and the sheriff, derek and even peter and sometimes cora if she's in town, the only person who isn't there is melissa who takes the night shift on christmas eve now that she knows scott has someone to celebrate with

a few years after allison dies, stiles and the sheriff are the first to show up for dinner and stiles yells PAPA ARGENT as soon as chris opens the door and chris levels his scary argent scare that isn't really all that scary anymore at him and says 'is that really what you call me' and stiles stares right back at him like DUH and casually says 'you know you're more of a dad to scott than his dad ever was' before brushing past him and heading toward the kitchen, yelling for scott who's been there since breakfast

and chris is just standing in the doorway, blinking dumbly after him, so the sheriff claps him on the shoulder, says 'welcome to the 2nd dad club' and drags him into the house, shutting the door behind them

Hey so this is my first Lukadrien fanfic story. This is called The way you make me feel. Which is a Michael Jackson song and it gave me the idea to make this. Ohhh I'm so excited. Alright so this is about when Adrien is at the park with his cousin melissa(my oc)feeling really bored with the photo shoot. But Adrien see Luka trying to find someone. But Everleigh(Lukas cousin and my oc) bumps into Adrien. Because she wasn't pay attention. Will Everleigh get a panic attack or Luka runs over and save the day. Read to find out Enjoy.

So, I’m still ruminating over 5.17. I’m still equally grateful that Melissa directed in a truly wonderful way (although the Eve fight scene was great, I do get annoyed at an entire sink moving as a guys head hits it, as if it weighs nothing & isn’t attached to anything. I get it. It is for dramatic effect, & it’s the kind of thing that happens throughout TV & movies, but still..... However, I digress).

Melissa directed the episode fantastically well. The lighting, framing on shots, overall pace on scenes - brilliant.

Sadly though I’m coming away having watched it wanting to tear my hair out, as I have far too often this season.

‪It is more than the general thoughts I’ve already written about in my last post. It is details like Alex suddenly referring to her dad as Jeremiah. We know how angry, hurt & upset she was with the news of his death. Is this a manifestation of that? That she is so angry, she can’t bring herself to use such personal terms in calling him dad? We have no idea, because suddenly it occurred. This is the sort of detail Chyler herself usually picks up & asks to be changed, which makes me suspect it was addressed somehow in other dialogue, but was cut. Maybe that was the case, maybe it wasn’t. Who knows, but I’d love to ask Chyler about it.

I’ve said this before - season 4 ended on a high. Fans were really feeling positive in ways they hadn’t for a while. You just need to look back on SM at the time.

Listening to the premise of S5, & again people were energised. The SM energy from SDCC was the most positive I had seen since the series began!

I’m still trying to figure out how they are expecting to wrap up the convoluted mess this season has been in 2 more episodes. I am struggling to figure out how they could even do it in 3, if 5.20 was going ahead. Even if 5.19 is extended to let’s say 1.5 hours in the schedule, it still wouldn’t be enough in my opinion.

I said briefly in my last post, I get frustrated because so much filler has occurred this season. Seriously, why did we have those two Winn episodes? ‪Well, Lex got on his ship & grabbed the cube...... but nah. I got nothing! ‬

‪Oh a few references for Dreamer (but we barely see her, so ...) & reassuring Kara ref Lena (which also .... when?) ‬

‪So nope. Those could be mentioned in a hot minute elsewhere.

Oh & pushing Kara to date William (a whole other mess I hate, but that’s for a different time).

‪But hey. We got Winn back!‬ Now before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, I really am not against having Winn hop back in on occasion. However, for 2 episodes that right now offer nothing to the plot beyond those I’ve mentioned? On an already shortened season, to having two full episodes taken up with filler? Use Winn in episodes that fully pertain to the season. Not this.

I want the Danvers sister couch scenes back. I want Alex & Kelly having the discussions they did in S4 (we got more about them in S4 before they were together, than anything so far in S5 as a couple). I want J’onn to do more than flop around his Private Eye firm & use The Tower with Alex. I want Alex to be a kick ass agent, girlfriend & sister. I want Kara & Lena to make up! I want Brainy and Nia to get together again. I want Brainy & Lena to have their friendship back. I want Alex & Lena get together in a lab, or just work on cases - anything other than this stalemate we are getting. I want Kelly to be able to show her friendship with Nia & Kara & to actually get to know Lena. I want to know does she know Kara is Supergirl properly, not conjecture, (I think she does as I said in an earlier post - see photo).

All these interpersonal relationships can still also have some conflict between them, if that’s the sort of thing they want. After all, no matter how great a relationship (I include friendship in this) is, it isn’t always perfect. I’m not saying it all has to be through rose tinted spectacles. But not to the level of destruction we have seen this season.

Give us meaningful villains (like Lex in S4, not rehashed Lex in S5 that give us episodes that mirror what we already know). It isn’t as if they don’t have, oh I don’t know, a load of comics they could reference for ideas if they need them. Stop with the constant push/pull on Lena as a character, & allow her to be accepted into the friends, flaws and all, just like everyone else - including Kara!

Now - now fans are feeling flat. The loss of viewers has been incredibly sad & worrying to watch. This weeks number was - pitiful, & yet my timeline was full of fans all saying to watch because of Melissa’s debut directing. Some argue it was because of yet another hiatus, yet Batwoman didn’t slide like that on its return. The Flash (which Supergirl used to regularly keep up with on viewers) was a solid 1.2 million viewers on Tuesday.

If it hurts me as a fan to see this decline. I can’t imagine how most of the cast & crew feel. They deserve so much better.

SuperCorp fans are either a delusional minority, or causing the loss of 300k viewers (& counting) according to some, which is causing a lot of hurt & upset. I’ve seen SC fans not wanting even post on their own timelines for fear of some fans coming in to attack them for it.

I’ve had it happen to me, if I mention I ship SuperCorp (while we are at it, I ship Dansen - which is my 1st ship, then SC) and Brainia, which is especially close to me as my husband is transgender & I want representation to show that being transgender doesn’t mean you can’t have a meaningful relationship with someone. I want a Black lesbian woman to be shown as successful in her private & professional live.

The thing is, these ratings drop aren’t because of a minority of fans (& truthfully, whether anyone likes it or not, SC fans are the biggest in terms of fandom size). But general fans are leaving the show. Now die hard fans are starting to leave. Media outlets are increasingly critical on aspects of the show.

With the hiatus due to Covid-19 & coupled with Melissa’s pregnancy, will Supergirl survive without further erosion on viewing figures before S6 resumes? I don’t see how it can on current viewing.

The CW (or WB, but since Robert Rovner’s wife is now one of two heading up WB, I’m afraid nepotism might well be playing a part here - but I add, I have no basis on this beyond just a worry it might be happening & I truly hope it isn’t. I don’t want to imply it is happening, just that I worry it ‘might be’), need to step in and do something to save this show, because it has crashed and is burning faster than Krypton.

Having minorities on the show achieves nothing if they’re not being used properly. If those who constantly berate others with racist, homophobic & misogynist posts, who feel emboldened and comfortable saying all those things, because of validation from someone on the show, then it is a problem.

This post could go on into reams of reasons why I feel so disappointed with the show as a whole at the moment.

I genuinely wish more for the actors and crew. I feel sad that Melissa’s debut as a director landed the worst ratings demo all season. I absolutely hate that occurred in fact. I genuinely don’t want to be writing posts like this. There have been good (occasional great episodes) this season, but simply not enough. Maybe 25% off the top of my head fall into that category for me, with the other 75% either entirely unforgettable or so frustrating as a viewer I want to scream; whereas it should be the other way around, & good enough that for the odd episodes you might not enjoy much or at all, you forgive them because the rest are good enough to compensate.

I’m hoping we get something exciting enough to keep interest for S6. Will we? We won’t have long to wait & find out.
