We are Nour and Nagham, doctors and sisters on the ground in Gaza, who founded and lead the globally supported initiative, PAL Humanity.

Since the beginning of this Genocide, we have been serving our community most notably through field visits and distributing aid (primarily diapers, menstrual/hygiene kits and formula). We have prioritized perinatal needs as well as children with special needs, as well as providing medication distribution en masse at UNWRA Schools where displaced families take refuge.

After a successful fundraiser focused on our aid distribution, as well as partnering with the OOB Perinatal Project, we have reached a point in our initiative where it is imperative to maximize our impact. So we are transitioning our service model from individual delivery focused to a distribution site within a full Medical Caravan model. While we will continue to perform field visits to displaced families who cannot reach us, the creation of our much needed Medical Caravan will allow us to support families at a volume simply impossible at the moment. Services provided will include medical checkups, prescriptions, distribution of medicine, hospital referrals etc. As we both volunteer at our local hospital, we have access to elevating and expediting referrals.

This community has helped us distribute 5,000 packets of diapers, 1000 packets of sanitary pads, 600 packets of milk etc.

We hope you will now help us raise $30,000 for our Medical Carvana and $50,000 for medications.

🇵🇸 Stride For Gaza 🇵🇸

Starting today, I will be participating in Stride For Gaza, doing a mix of cycling and walking 95km (the distance between Gaza and Occupied East Jerusalem) to raise crucial funds for MAP (Medical Aid For Palestinians).

Thanks to the help of friends, family, and my wonderful colleagues at Madding Crowd this past week, I have received over £450 in donations.

My initial goal was £250. I have now increased this to £1000, and would be absolutely ecstatic if I managed to exceed it.

If you're able to contribute anything at this critical time - even just a few pounds - sincerely, thank you. It may only feel like a drop in the ocean, but for those on the ground in Gaza right now it is everything.

For the future of all Palestinians fighting to survive at this moment, let us continue to support MAP's tireless response. We will not look away. 🇵🇸

In the UK? Email your MP - save Gaza's hospitals (and if not in the UK, please share)

Everyone in the UK - Medical Aid for Palestinians want us to keep the pressure up on our MPs (who should, whatever they might think, represent their constituents) to press the UK Government on the protection of Gaza's hospitals and a permanent and immediate ceasefire.

Emailing might do no good but it can't do any harm, and it lets our MPs know that we're not indifferent to the stance they take on Palestine.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the many lives lost is what has to be talked about -- the individual lives with families, ambitions, stories, and so much more, who are now gone -- above everything else. Don't just tweet and reblog. Donate, volunteer, protest, research.

Doctors Without Borders is a major NGO providing medical care to Gaza and other regions affected by war and poverty. Middle East Children's Alliance also has a lot of projects that support children in the region. Please check organizations like these out, and do your research!

🇵🇸 Stride For Gaza 🇵🇸

I don't have the largest following on here, but I'm trying my best to circulate this on all platforms. I will be participating in Stride For Gaza between February 19th-March 8th, doing a mix of walking and cycling 95km (the distance between Gaza and Occupied East Jerusalem) to raise crucial funds for MAP (Medical Aid For Palestinians). BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Trektastic Zine is holding a fundraiser for Palestine. 🇵🇸

We did say we had an announcement to make and here it is!

First of all, we are aware that this is a divisive topic amongst people and that we may well receive backlash for this, however we have decided to stand by our principles. No human beings deserve to live under violent occupation (or, to be frank, genocide). We also feel it is right to utilise a platform like this project to make a difference if we can.

What's happening?

We have created some designs which show solidarity for Palestine and which (subtly - we don't want to sideline Palestine as the main focus) incorporate Star Trek themes, in order to link this cause to the theme of our zine. We will be selling these designs as badges and stickers - which we are in the process of ordering an initial small batch of. We will restock if they sell successfully.

Where is the money going?

Any and all profits we make from these products will be donated directly to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), which works to provide immediate medical care to Palestinians suffering under occupation, in Gaza and the West Bank as well as in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
