[ 📹 Israeli occupation airstrikes targeted Khan Yunis, in the south of Gaza, leaving several casualties among paramedics and civil defense teams. The Palestinian Red Crescent says occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews in the latest of Israel's crimes.]
🇮🇱⚔️🇵🇸 🚨 💥PARAMEDICS AND JOURNALISTS TARGETED ON 97TH DAY OF ISRAELI GENOCIDE💥
Israeli Occupation Forces ramped up their bombing and shelling of the Gaza Strip Thursday, killing dozens and targeting journalists and paramedics on the 97th day of the Israeli genocide of Palestinians.
In the south of the Gaza Strip, six Palestinian civilians were killed and many more wounded east of Khan Yunis, as a result of bombing raids by Israeli jets.
Also in the South of Gaza, occupation aircraft bombarded the home of the Bassam Abu Namous family on al-Samasma Street, west of Khan Yunis, killing seven civilians and wounding 25 others.
Occupation helicopters also fired sporadically into Khan Yunis, killing 19 over the previous day, due to Israeli bombardment.
IOF soldiers also continue to bomb and shell various residential homes in the Qaizan al-Najjar neighborhood in the south of Khan Yunis.
In Gaza City, IOF warplanes targeted the home of journalist Mohammed al-Thalathiini, killing the reporter and bringing the death toll among journalists in Israel's genocide to 112 since October 7th.
Israeli forces also targeted the al-Bureij, al-Maghazi, al-Nuseirat and the al-Mughraqa Camps area in central Gaza with heavy artillery fire and bombing raids.
In addition to these crimes, a Palestinian youth was seriously wounded as a result of targeting by an Israeli missile fired from a drone on al-Bahr Street in Rafah, southern Gaza.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the north of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, the Abu Hatab family home was targeted by the Israeli occupation, killing six and wounding several others.
A multitude of wounded Palestinian civilians were also rushed to al-Shifa Medical Complex in the west of Gaza City, with three citizens killed from the Machi family, in the vicinity of the now defunct and destroyed Gaza International Airport that once existed in the enclave's capital.
In central Gaza, six Palestinians, including four from ambulance crews, were slaughtered when occupation jets targeted and bombed an ambulance on Salah al-Din Street, adjacent to the al-Maghazi Refugee Camp.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), the Israeli occupation "deliberately targets" its ambulance crews, even when coordinating with International partners, with the PRCS warning against the targeting of the few remaining medical centers in the area.
A Palestinian residential home was also targeted near the entrance to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the Deir al-Balah area, resulting in the deaths of 12 civilians including journalist Ahmed Badir.
While in central Gaza, in the al-Maghazi Refugee Camp area, at least 17 civilians were murdered in strikes by occupation munitions, while Israeli forces also heavily bombed and shelled the al-Bureij and Nuseirat Camp residential areas.
In addition, Wafaa al-Bass, a recently freed prisoner held by the occupation, was killed in her home in the north of the Gaza Strip.
Since the beginning of Israel's genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip began on October 7th, 2023, in excess of 23'357 Palestinians have been killed, with an additional 59'410 wounded in Israeli war crimes.

I can’t even keep up with the Al Jazeera live coverage of Gaza fast enough to highlight specific bulletins. Every single report is so damning. I’m going to try to compile a timeline of bulletins regarding the attacks on Al Shifa and other hospitals tomorrow, but please, please if you haven’t, read through yesterday/today’s live pages. The hospitals are surrounded by Israeli tanks and snipers. Anyone who moves too much inside the buildings or who try to flee on foot are being shot and killed. Buildings in the medical complexes are being bombarded and catching fire. Power has run out and two babies at Al Shifa have already died because of the incubators losing power. ICU and dialysis patients are also going to die at this rate. Most if not all other hospitals are in the same situation. People are already dying just because the doctors can’t get to them to treat them. And those dead bodies can’t be kept in the morgues anymore because there is no refrigeration. They’re going to have to be buried in mass graves on hospital grounds. And the survivors will have to cope with hunger, dehydration, poor sanitation, disease outbreaks, lack of medical care/supplies, and the continued bombardments. Salah al-Din street is getting bombed. Rafah is getting bombed. There is literally no safe place for anyone to go. Israel is not going to stop either until the Gaza Strip is emptied, or somebody fucking stops them.

Gaza, Palestine, Salah Aldeen St.📍 Is it reasonable for us to celebrate our humanity in 2024 while an entire people is being under a genocide in front of our and your eyes? It is a disgrace to all of our humanity to delay reaching a ceasefire and give the occupation forces time to kill more civilians and children and destroy thousands of homes and streets! Every minute that passes for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip under this genocide is like a hundred years of torture! In cold and starvation while being threatened by leaders in the occupation to not allow us to return to our homes again! While 2 million people live in tents, schools, hospitals and streets!, In very difficult humanitarian conditions that indicate a humanitarian catastrophe that will take years to overcome, including epidemics, diseases, and the collapse of the infrastructure and social structure. How can a case be so just and clearly documented as this one and its people not receive justice for 115 days! PS/ In the picture, I am standing in the middle of the main street in the Gaza Strip, Salah al-Din Street, which connects the governorates of the Gaza Strip from north to south. It is the historical street that connected Palestine with North Africa and was called Horus Street hundreds of years ago. This street, in addition to Al-Rashid Street or Beach Street, are the street that represent Gaza. They were wide, clean, and beautiful streets. At night, they are used for exercising, riding bicycles, and walking with pets. I have walked this road more than a thousand times, and due to the severity of the destruction, I did not recognize the place where I was standing in that picture.

🚨 Government Media Office:
For immediate release.
The targeting of Palestinian civilians by the "israeli" occupation army and the firing of live bullets at them upon their arrival at the Kuwait Roundabout on Salah Al-Din Street to obtain flour and food aid is an exacerbation of famine, an entrenchment of the siege, and a lack of desire to end this humanitarian disaster.
We hold the American administration, the occupation, and the international community fully responsible for worsening the humanitarian situation and the exacerbation of the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip amid rising numbers of deaths due to hunger, malnutrition, and drought.
We demand the end of the genocide and the entry of 1000 trucks of aid to all governorates, especially the northern Gaza Strip.

Reports of tanks accompanied by an armoured bulldozer reaching Salah ad-Din Street south of Gaza City could mean that Israel has, for the first time, conducted daylight armoured reconnaissance to identify Hamas’s defensive positions and their response capabilities. Limiting operations to open farmland or desert would be the least costly way for the Israeli army to maintain a presence in part of Gaza because that’s where its superiority in armour, artillery and air cover benefits it and it can avoid bloody urban warfare. Should it decide to attack Gaza City, it would have to use enough soldiers to reach the city limits and dig in, which will draw most Hamas fighters to the city. A follow-on combined attack, with armoured forces advancing from the east and naval infantry from the sea, might succeed in what is being hypothesised now, that it is trying to cut the Strip in half. The corridor, 6km long from the sea to the border and up to 2km wide from the outskirts of Gaza City to al-Mughraqa would be militarily defensible and a useful asset in any negotiations.

One incident I heard from multiple people that I met at an UNRWA school recounts the story of a woman carrying her child and walking along Salah al-Din. Her child would cry loudly as she carried him, multiple people told me, all repeating the same details and recounting the same sequence of events that would follow: a soldier, annoyed by the child’s screeching, “sniped at him” from a distance and shot him in the head as his mother carried him. The soldier then picked up his megaphone and ordered her to throw him by the side of the road and keep walking.
In utter shock, the woman wailed and cried but eventually was forced to obey the soldiers’ orders at gunpoint, who surrounded her from the side and were also perched on top of a tank. Everyone told me the same thing: that the woman was forced to set down her lifeless child and continue, screaming and crying the entire way.
**
“I was walking on crutches, and two paramedics who had fled south with us were helping me along the way,” he told Mondoweiss. “Sometimes they would carry me or allow me to lean on them as we walked.”
When they reached the Israeli military checkpoint that had been erected on Salah al-Din Street, a soldier called on him from a distance and ordered him to walk on his own and throw away his crutches before arriving at the checkpoint to be searched.
“I still wasn’t able to put my foot on the ground or to put any pressure on it,” Ayman said. “But the soldier kept ordering me to walk without it.”
“The minute I put my foot on the ground, I fell, unable to bear the pain,” he continued. “But the soldier kept insisting and told me to stand up.”
Ayman said he could not bear the humiliation the soldier was forcing on him. For a second time, he tried to get up and tried to take another step.
The plate in his leg broke. He collapsed, screaming in pain. The soldier did nothing, just ordering him to crawl past the checkpoint and go on his way. Ayman had no choice but to do as he was ordered, dragging himself until he got to the other side, where people picked him up and assisted him.

‘Massacre’: Dozens killed by Israeli fire in Gaza while collecting food aid
Desperate residents under Israeli attack while trying to get flour for families as famine stalks the strip.
Dozens of Palestinians have been killed or wounded after Israeli troops opened fire on hundreds waiting for food aid southwest of Gaza City, as the besieged enclave faces an unprecedented hunger crisis.
Gaza’s government media office accused the Israeli army of “committing a horrific massacre”. More than 70 people were killed and about 250 others were wounded, it said in a statement on Thursday.
The citizens had congregated at al-Rashid Street, where aid trucks carrying flour were believed to be on the way. Al Jazeera verified footage showing the bodies of dozens of killed and wounded Palestinians being carried onto trucks as no ambulances could reach the area.
“We went to get flour. The Israeli army shot at us. There are many martyrs on the ground and until this moment we are withdrawing them. There is no first aid,” said one witness.
One Palestinian man told the Quds News Network the military attack was a “crime”.
“I have been waiting since yesterday. At about 4.30 this morning, trucks started to come through. Once we approached the aid trucks, the Israeli tanks and warplanes started firing at us, as if it was a trap.
“To the Arab states I say, if you want to have us killed, why are you sending relief aid? If this continues, we do not want any aid delivered at all. Every convoy coming means another massacre.”
Jadallah Al-Shafei, the head of the nurses department at al-Shifa Hospital, said that “the situation is beyond any words”, adding that “the hospital was flooded with dozens of dead bodies and hundreds of injured”.
“The majority of the victims suffered gunshots and shrapnel in the head and upper parts of their bodies. They were hit by direct artillery shelling, drone missiles and gun firing,” he told Al Jazeera.
The mass shooting was the latest instance of systematic attacks on hungry people waiting for scraps of food. Over the past few days, Palestinians gathered in large groups waiting for aid trucks on Salah al-Din Street near Gaza City have been shot at by Israeli forces, said Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud, reporting from Rafah in the enclave’s south.
Recently, a truck that was supposed to deliver aid to people in Gaza tragically turned into the truck carrying those injured and killed, he added.
With aid agencies unable to deliver supplies to northern Gaza since January 23, many are taking a long trek towards the south by foot.
Famine
On Wednesday, Carl Skau, deputy executive director of the World Food Programme (WFP), told the United Nations Security Council more than 500,000, or one in four people, were at risk of famine, with one child in every six below the age of two considered acutely malnourished.
Tumblr media
“The risk of famine is being fuelled by the inability to bring critical food supplies into Gaza in sufficient quantities, and the almost impossible operating conditions faced by our staff on the ground,” he said.
He described dangerous conditions for WFP trucks trying to get food to the north earlier this month. “There were delays at checkpoints; they faced gunfire and other violence; food was looted along the way; and at their destination, they were overwhelmed by desperately hungry people,” said Skau.
Aid agencies claim that Israel has been delaying deliveries. Israel denies that charge. It submitted a report to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the measures taken to avert suffering in the besieged enclave. Rights groups say Israel acted in breach of the ICJ order issued in January.
Philippe Lazzarini, the head of UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, said on Sunday on social media that calls to allow food distribution in Gaza amid the ongoing hostilities between Israel and Hamas have been denied or “have fallen on deaf ears”.
Warning against “looming famine”, the UN official said the situation is becoming a “man-made disaster”.
Israel launched a deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip following a Hamas-led attack on October 7. More than 30,000 people are reported to have been killed to date, mostly women and children.

Journalist Mohammed Ahmed reports from Kuwait Roundabout in Zaytoun, northern Gaza. The previous day, thousands of people had gathered in that location to receive food aid when the IOF opened fire into the crowd. More than 20 civilians were killed and over 150 were injured, according to the day’s report from UN OCHA. Still, out of hope for more aid, people continue coming to Kuwait Roundabout. Mohammed explains the situation, and Instagram user faridaek provides a full English translation, pasted here:
I am here on Salah al-Din Street, specifically in front of the Kuwait roundabout, east of Gaza City in the far southeastern area of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, where many citizens are gathering in anticipation of the arrival of trucks carrying aid and flour. The gathering of citizens in this area was not based on specific information, but rather on the expectation that flour would be delivered today. Just now, we heard the sound of an explosion, and people are trying to flee and find shelter here, seeking protection behind anything that might offer cover. Yesterday, the occupation forces targeted people in this area, and of the martyrs, three were employees of the Ministry of Social Development, who were coordinating the entry of these trucks. The trucks, when they do enter, are not fully coordinated as such, it is just the process of them entering the area. The occupation forces target anyone trying to carry out the delivery and receipt of these trucks, as Israel is determined to create chaos here.

[ 📹 A child, killed in an Israeli airstrike, is found in the arms of his dead father by Palestinian civil defense personnel under the rubble of their residential home in the Gaza Strip on Saturday after a long night of IOF warplanes bombing their way across the entirety of the enclave.]
🇮🇱⚔️🇵🇸 🚀🏠💥🚑 🚨
ZIONIST BOMBING CAMPAIGN KILLS DOZENS ON DAY 176 OF "ISRAEL'S" WAR OF GENOCIDE IN THE GAZA STRIP
On the 176th day of "Israel's" ongoing war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a total of 7 new massacres of Palestinian families, resulting in the deaths of at least 71 Palestinians, mostly women and children, while another 112 others have been wounded over the previous 24-hours.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported on Saturday that a total of 26 personnel have been killed since the beginning of the Zionist aggression on Gaza, including 15 team members who were killed while performing their duties.
PRCS crews also reported transporting the bodies of two martyrs, killed as a result of occupation artillery shelling of a civilian structure in the Al-Maghazi Camp, in the central Gaza Strip.
Israeli occupation forces continued with their offensive near Al-Shifa Medical Complex, located in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, besieging the hospital for at least 10 consecutive days, while horrific attacks on civilians, patients and medical personnel in the hospital are being reported, including field executions of civilians, illegal detentions, torture, and forced displacement of local residents and civilians sheltering in the complex.
Elsewhere, Zionist occupation forces bombed a residential home belonging to the Abdo family on Al-Wahda Street, in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of 10 family members.
In yet another horrific atrocity, Zionist soldiers assassinated a police officer in Gaza City as he drove his wife and children in his civilian vehicle, killing all seven family members.
IOF warplanes also bombarded The Shuja'iyya Club, a local sports club in the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of several citizens, including members of the popular committees in charge of organizing the distribution of humanitarian aid.
The Zionist occupation army also targeted starving Palestinians waiting for food aid on Salah al-Din Street, in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, wounding a number of civilians.
Occupation bombing, shelling and gunfire also continues to target civilians across the northern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces also completed the destruction of the city of Prisoners, north of the Al-Nuseirat Refugee Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, leveling 21 out of 24 buildings in the area.
Simultaneously, Zionist warplanes bombed several civilian homes near the Prisoner Towers, west of the Al-Nuseirat Camp, martyring five civilians.
Occupation fighter jets also bombarded the town of Al-Mughraqa, along with the Al-Nuseirat Camp, Al-Maghazi and in the vicinity of the Wadi Gaza Bridge in the central Gaza Strip.
The IOF also targeted the headquarters of the municipalities of Al-Bureij and Al-Zawayda in the central Governate of the Gaza Strip, which can no longer provide basic services as a result.
In yet another horrific crime, IOF warplanes bombed a civilian residence belonging to the Musa family in the Al-Maghazi Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, killing several family members and wounding a number of others, while the explosion from the blast also wrought massive destruction on nearby houses.
In the south of Gaza, local paramedic and civil defense crews say they transported the bodies of 13 Palestinians who were slaughtered in mass killings after the occupation bombing of the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis.
Violent raids continued when Zionist aircraft bombed central Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, martyring two Palestinian civilians and wounding a number of others, while occupation warplanes also wrought massive destruction after bombing several multi-storied residential buildings in the Austrian neighborhood west of Khan Yunis.
The Zionist occupation army, including tanks, armored vehicles, and warplanes, have been hammering, with violent airstrikes and heavy artillery shelling, targeting various areas of Khan Yunis, with special attention paid to the eastern and western neighborhoods of the city, and also in the vicinity of Nasser Medical Complex.
Several firebelts were also launched by IOF fighter jets targeting the Khuza'a neighborhood, east of Khan Yunis, along with the Sufa and Abasan areas, northeast of the city.
It is also being reported that the number of dead as a result of the IOF bombing of the Abu Muammar family home in Rafah City, in southern Gaza, on Thursday morning has risen to 14.
The infinitely rising death toll resulting from "Israel's" war of genocide in the Gaza Strip has now exceeded 32'705 Palestinians killed, with more than 25'000 of the victims being women and children according to the United States Pentagon, while an additional 75'190 civilians have been wounded since the start of the current round of Zionist aggression beginning on October 7th, 2023.
