Hey snarky, love your most recent posts but I must ask. How do you maintain the energy to stay focused on your au? I've been struggling with my own Winx esc story and I'm struggling with and I want to know someways to stay motivated and plan content.

So first off, love the stuff you come up with and I’m so honored you ask me questions about things related to it

And secondly, this may not be the answer you want to hear and it’s just my opinion, but don’t force yourself to stay on it if you’re not feeling it.

I find that I tend to come up with my best stuff when I’m actively enjoying what I’m making and having fun, which to me should be the main priority for creating things. If you’re not feeling that inspired or are feeling like you have to force yourself to come up with stuff for your project, then you don’t have to do it.

Sometimes you need a break, and you can always come back to it if you want to! That’s the great thing about doing stuff like this. You feel like you’re slogging through it and aren’t having a good time? Fuck it. Do something else then. That’s ok! And if it turns out later on you realize you don’t want to continue doing it? That’s ok too!

I’ll have stints on here where I’m just drawing Barbie or Zelda fanart and occasionally other magical girl related stuff because that’s the stuff I’m more into at the moment and I’m not really feeling super inspired with my winx au/rewrite thingy. Like lately I’ve been having trouble coming up with stuff so I shared some pose memes and color palette things and have been doing requests as well as my own personal doodles with them that I like.

Sometimes you get burnt out and you just gotta do something else. That advice from that art lesbian who lives in the woods from Kiki’s Delivery Service? About taking a break, not creating stuff for a while, and enjoying other things instead if you’re struggling with making things? Yeah basically that lol

My last piece of advice is that bouncing ideas off of people can be fun too! For example, @maea-megs and I have been trying to update and redo some of their AU stuff to give it a more identifiable and unique spin and that’s been great! Its just us screaming for hours and going on tangents that result in some really cool ideas and new lore.

I have a lot of people on here that I’m lucky enough to be able to talk to about ideas and concepts and outside input can lead to some great trains of thought you yourself may have never come up with! From my own personal experiences on here the winx fandom overall is super fucking nice too and I’ve found that even if it’s intimidating, sending an ask or a dm if they’re cool with it can usually result in some really great new friendships and creative buddies. I’m also always happy to talk about stuff in the dms too if you want! I love hearing other peoples thoughts and ideas about this stupid sparkly fairy show from 2004 lol we can have the time of our lives.

So yeah! That’s all the advice I have basically. As always I’m not sure how helpful it is but hopefully you’ll get something out of reading it lol

i just had a crazy thought

what if the krogan from @reallyprofoundkryptonite au and the viggo from @lydiagrimborn1117 au met each other?

it would be pretty crazy,but this is what i think would have happened if they met each other

m(maea)krogan would see L(lydia)viggo and look happy to see him but is confused on why viggo has longer hair and doesn't have a scar on his face

L viggo would be terrified since he thinks m krogan will hurt him,he has trust issues when it comes to strangers and to him,m krogan is a stranger who could hurt him

then a note appears and explains there from different worlds

this raises alarms in L viggo head since all he wants is to be with his big brother

while m krogan wants to know why L viggo is so terrified of him,he would never do anything to hurt his viggo,or any other viggo

to maea and lydia,what are your thoughts of what could happen?

and yes,i know this thought is crazy,yet again,i think of crazy things

Liviu Pop admite că 80% dintre şcoli nu au autorizaţii sau avize de securitate la incendiu

# Cu trei săptămâni înainte de începerea anului şcolar, din 31.297 de clădiri de şcoală, doar 4.200 au avize de securitate la incendiu şi numai 2.261 deţin autorizaţii. Datele au fost făcute publice de ministrul Educației, Liviu Pop.

Ministerul nu are însă și estimare a şcolilor care vor avea autorizaţie de funcţionare pe 11 septembrie. Întrebat câte şcoli sunt renovate în acest moment şi câte vor fi gata, Liviu Pop a susținut că autorităţile locale ar renova în această perioadă toate clădirile pentru care lipsesc avizele.

„Nu pot răspunde la această întrebare pentru că maea lor majoritate sunt în subordinea consiliilor locale. O parte sunt în proprietatea Consiliului Județean. Din datele mele, aproape în toate unitățile în care nu avem autorizații s-a intrat pe renovare”, spune Liviu Pop.

Mini comic… this is an idea I’ve had banging around in my head about @amyrafiercebladeartz and i’s headcanon that Krogan suffers from chronic night terrors and will sometimes crawl in bed with Viggo to cuddle because the body heat seems to help with making them go away and because he feels safe with Viggo:)

(He’s begging Viggo to let him stay there nonverbally in the first panel lmao. Thinking this takes place during like one of the first few times Krogan actually does this.)

This headcanon is old and also something we cooked up in an old rp. (If i remember correctly 😭)

Night Fury!Krogan redesign

Hi welcome to the post!! Anyways. I decided to redesign him. More of a story now too.

Hiccup only discovers Krogan after Krogan has been separated from the flock for a few monrhs, getting himself taken into the custody of dragon hunters after suspicions of Krogan’s disappearance and a subsequent appearance of a night fury that has scars that match up nearly identical ally with the man. (And the inquiry to Drago about him having a night fury branded with his mark, which was a resounding “no… why?” Essentially therefore confirming the potential status of the dragon as being Krogan. That… and the dragon replies to the name in question when one tried it out (*coughs at Viggo who’s literally the only person who can get close to the Fury without being bitten.)

During the first encounter, it is in the skies, with Viggo having taken an (entirely and completely uncertain) perch upon Krogan’s back. Turns out Krogan has just a bit of malice towards Toothless for whatever reason because it was litterally an on sight attack that Krogan yoinked toothless with. Viggo took Krogan’s place since. They’re still down a leader for the dragon flyers considering Krogan. Does not speak human no matter how hard he tries (it is amusing itself to hear him muttering what is in essentiacality gibberish as he tries to speak to Viggo… but his vocal chords REALLY are not made to speak.

He can commune with other dragons… fine enough. When Hiccup and Toothless are captured in the episode that would be triple cross, Krogan nearly rips Toothless’s wing off when capturing the other dragon. (Viggo really wishes he could understand what it is with Krogan and other Night Furies, because Toothless is TERRIFIED of Krogan’s simple presence. Though Krogan has seemed to back off with his aggression towards Toothless, Viggo is unsure of the stem of the aggression, besides the new scars, bite marks and wounds they had found Krogan with. Maybe there was a flock that took Krogan in and since he was in the lowest pecking order he was ruthlessly picked on and tormented?)

Viggo just understands that it might be a trauma response. They manage to make it through Triple Cross, Krogan earning a place among the dragon riders with Viggo at his side. Krogan is entirely uninterested in everyone and everything except for Viggo, though he starts warming up a bit to Snotlout, surprisingly enough. Viggo doesn’t understand why, but maybe it’s because Snotlout likes sharing chunks of the mangoes he occasionally buys with Krogan. (Krogan likes mangoes.)

For further reference… here is Krogan next to toothless. Toothless is just under half Krogan’s size and weight, which is why Krogan can throw him around so easily.
