Ghoap, but instead of ghost being the oblivious one and soap the obvious one - it’s reversed.
Simon has tried for AGES, practically begging to be with Johnny, without actually asking for it. From gifts to even physical signs of affection - Simon is doing it all! And Johnny? None the wiser.
See, John grew up in a very physically affectionate family. He assumed it was just Simon’s way of showing affection toward everyone! Somehow completely ignoring the fact that Simon ONLY does it with him. Simon is at his wits end, and eventually assumes that Johnny just… isn’t interested. So, he gives up.
But now? Now John feels confused. He wonders what he’s done wrong, because truthfully? He loves Simon, too. But neither of them know how to properly admit it. Communication when it comes to emotions isn’t something the two soldiers are good at..
can't stop thinking about how simon is the only one who can call soap 'johnny' cause it rhymes n reminds him of his brother tommy :( just my interpretation ...
I've seen a few "oh, I don't deserve to be on this list, but I'll repost it anyway" hashtags from artists. It takes a lot of courage to post your work on the internet. You open yourself up to criticism from total strangers all over the world.
Why do it to yourselves?
We are all our own harshest critic. An artist I really admire told me, "Man, I wish I could do that." And here I am wishing I had their talent! The grass is always greener on the other side, I suppose.
You all are amazing artists!
And don't just use this a glossary to protect artist's artwork. Look through the links, discover artists you never knew about. Yes, it's still small, but it's growing! Thank for everyone for helping get the word out.
A special thank you to @shadow0-1 and @ave661 for suggestions and helping organize the lists.
John Price and my OC, Nicholas Penrose, from a story I'll probably never end up writing. I really liked the way this one turned out. The clothing drapery is very realistic. Took me about two days to assemble (mostly because of the background…I hate doing set design and props--it turned out very nice, though).
