Soft wind blows around the forest, certain young Wolf that sleeps beneath the tree sleep in harmony but as he heard a sound and smell a familiar scent. His ears perks out and soon with his paws he start to run to a certain direction.

"mate!" In the sight of you who's forgings in the side path of the forest for ingredients for tonight dinner and tomorrow new dish for your family restaurant.

"hu--" you were taken back as a big red wolf is loaming over your form. A gigantic wolf! You almost would scream bloody murder if not for the fact you realize it's the silly werewolf from the sweet scent coming from him.

"..." You sigh as you let him be as he gaze at you with his sparkling blue eyes, his soft fur against your skin felt weird but not a bad one. Hiiro seems to look at you for something before you nodded your head.

"WHAT THE --" you were surprised when warm sticky tongue start to lick your face. You don't know what your agreeing to but was only nodding cause you might have become weak against the wolf charming personality.

Hiiro who finally become satisfied of marking you with his scent finally transform back to his human form yet he still hugs you. You don't dare look down as you don't know if his naked or not..isn't that how it usually work? You thought.

"what's wrong mate?"

"your not naked, right ?"

"no? Do you want me too?"

"may-- NO!" you almost slap yourself as you felt the demons have taken control of your bloody mouth to speak such lies! You felt your cheeks warming up from such embarrassment your having at this time.

"Mate your face is as red as my hair." The wolf pokes your cheeks and very much close to your face, more than you liked. "Your ears is turning red too." He chuckle as he hugs you from the side. He enjoys the feeling of you in his arms. He wonder if he can hug you like this for a long time.

You want to scream from embarrassment but it's never going to end good for you to do so. Besides it been a long time since you have meet this wolf and already been use to his affection.

You, you don't want to admit it but you liked his hugs and affection. Maybe his growing on you.

As you two enjoy the breeze of the wind in this Wonderful day, you cannot help but relax and forget your problems slowly fallen into a slumber, snoring softly in his arms.

His eyes widen but did not make a sound when he realize your taken your guard on him totally to sleep in his arms.

Did it mean you trust him? A smile can't help but appear in his face as he think of that. His glad you trust him. It warms him to think that.

He wonder if you can hear his heartbeat and might disturb your sleep but he refuse to move away. Maybe he will accidentally wake you up. So he rather not...

He too felt the serenity of the surrounding, the world without problem. His glad to be here with you as he slowly sleep besides you.

Humans and the creature of the forest do live side by side. Through they are strange individual and have characteristics that are surely would tell them off as non humans.

Some people would think of it as nothing and live coexist with them. At least some of them. Some people dislike the idea of non human living side by side with humans. Many events occurs that leads to some people harming the forest folks. The wolfs and more.

Through... Something like a huge scandal or issues like that, would not be a problem you would care about since you and your brother do things and think alike sometimes.

You would rather worry about what to eat the next meal than worry about some war going on with humans and forest folks. Cause stressing on those would leads to being more hungry.

You do think you stand in the middle ground as you can see the other side opinion but also think it's too unfair to the forest folks since they want to coexist with humanity... It never occurred to you how deeply problematic it is.

...

When you come back from the town and going to your usual path. You smelt a metallic scent. You look around in wonder why your smelling blood out in the open and notice a trail of blood leading to someone who's lying on the ground covering with blood. Blood did not scare you as you work in the kitchen and with preps for dishes that consist of being a bloody mess.

"hey..." You approach the person. Maybe your alike to your brother too. You would help people if they are in need.

"..." The bloody person stayed there motionless against the tree. You check your bags for some items to give the person when you notice his still breathing from a safe distance.

"Go away..." You heard the stranger growl at you in loath. You ignore it and proceed to give your lunch to the fellow as well your handkerchief. If that even help a bit.

"I don't need disgusting help from a human!" Even through they seems to be in pain they refuse to acknowledge your aid. You shrug your shoulder and stared at him and saw his blue hair that seems to remind you of the blue sky and fluffy ears of a feline Forest folk.

"Cats have nine lives. You should be fine since your lucky cat." You added before you back away before the nasty kitty can scar you with his sharp nails. Through you saw his teary golden orbs stared at you with hate and mix of hope yet he refuse to be seen weak at the moment. "Your kind did this to me, so you all should root in hell."

"sorry I don't particularly believe in those." You nonchalantly says with a chuckle. "Hell is not being able to eat the next meal. So kitty should enjoy the meal since it's made by my brother and me. See you when I see you..." You remember that your going to be late to go to your school if you stay chatting with him.

You heard him calling you some words and stuff before his voice fades away in the distance between you.

Sometimes you wonder if your dumb or not. Probably. You felt hunger as you lay in the ground in energy saving mode after the PE class. Your so hungry and you have no lunch!

"mate!" You heard someone called out for you before delicious scent of (favorite dish)!(favorite snacks) as well that scent of that wolf made you look up as the wolf you know very well with his eye catching red hair run toward you after he just wall climbing your school and went beside you to pick you up for a hug.

"I come to visit you! And I have brought lunch!" He smiled brightly at you and you cannot help but tear up at his words. "Uwahhh! Really?! You brought food?!" You hug them, surprising him in your affection.

"Y-yes." He nodded his head as he felt his ears warning up and open the basket he have brought with him and you cannot help but give him a kiss in the cheeks.

"THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" You then proceed to Kirby the food he gives you before hunger ends your life. Hiiro held his cheek you kiss. His cheeks felt warm and his heart rate is going crazy again. H

e can't help but smile as he watch you enjoy the dish he brought you. "You eat too messy, mate. How cute." He chuckle as he wipe the mess you made, making sure to wipe your cheeks and you proceed to eat another bite of the meal. "It's good food!" You smiled cheekily.

"I'm glad you like it!" He really should bring you lunch since you don't seems to tell him off when he enter your school ground even so it's not allowed by the policy of the school. And he can enjoy being with you in this little time in the midday.

Through he wonder why there's a feline scent around you. How odd. He wonder if you meet any wounded cat today.

In this AU the prince(s) charming from all the classic stories falls in love with the woodsman rather than their Fairy tale loves after being saved from a band of marauders on their way to the castle one night

Meanwhile the woodsman (Y/N in this case) has decided to hunt down all the dark beasts in the shadows they can find to finally give the kingdom some peace, weather it be wolves or trolls or dragons, they want the people of the kingdom to feel safe. (Some more than others)

Ok but with ylfa's backstory it's just. There's a wolf who can take people's skins and mimic their voices? So there have been many ppl who have gone into the woods, been attacked by a wolf, and then what's returned has looked and sounded and hell maybe even acted like them! But a bit more monstrous. With hair on their hands, and a low snarl, and sure they sound like our dear loved one and they look like them but they're scary. They're scary, and they've changed, and shouldn't they be dead?

And maybe if they're scary they aren't our loved one - they're actually just the scary thing in disguise yes of course! Cause they would never scare us like that. They could never be transformed like that. So it's not them, so they're dead.
