Have this Fairy Tale AU to reign in the new year!!
In this AU the prince(s) charming from all the classic stories falls in love with the woodsman rather than their Fairy tale loves after being saved from a band of marauders on their way to the castle one night
Meanwhile the woodsman (Y/N in this case) has decided to hunt down all the dark beasts in the shadows they can find to finally give the kingdom some peace, weather it be wolves or trolls or dragons, they want the people of the kingdom to feel safe. (Some more than others)

Hello friend!! I had a random thought pop into my head and you are free to make this whatever way you want but imagine an AU where Katsuki Bakugo is the big bad wolf and this sweet fem! S/o is little red riding hood :3 I just though it would be interesting! Thank you for your time and hard work!!!
“Y/N, take these to your sweet old granny,” You said in a high pitched voice to imitate your mother. “Don’t stray from the path, there’d bad things out that way!” You finished, dragging along the wooden basket full of treats and medicine.
Your mother had caught wind of your grandmother not feeling so well, and of course that meant you got to travel through the woods to take some medical aid to her.
The red cloak you adorned fluttered in time with your stride, fabric coasting through the slight breeze as you focused on getting to your destination. The well worn path stretched out in front of you, trees lining either side of it as far as you could see.
Every once in a while you would hear faint rustling from different woodland creatures, something that really hadn’t caught your attention. In fact, you hadn’t seen or heard of any animal other than a couple small rodents and a bird every once in a while.
That was until there was a faint howl in the distance, something that made goosebumps appear all over your body. The sound wasn’t extremely close to you, but it wasn’t far away either.
You dug in your pocket, feeling around until you felt your watch, pulling it out and gazing at the face.
“Oh.” You said simply.
It was about 6 o’clock, meaning the sun was on it’s way to exiting the horizon, meaning you’d have a good chance of being cloaked in darkness before you were able to make it to your grandma’s house.
With that thought and the wolf’s howl fresh in mind, you began taking quicker and larger steps. Every single step you took made anxiousness churn in the pit of your stomach. When you stepped on a branch you stopped breathing, when there was a rustle in the bushes you had to clamp a hand over your mouth to stop yourself from screaming.
You preferred to tell yourself it was your mind getting the better of you. Sure, the woods weren’t the safest part of the world, but you’d grown up in the area, making the exact trip to your granny’s house time and time before.
The rational side of you could only convince you for so long, until you heard it: a low, deep sounding growl that you swore vibrated your whole body. Of course, you stopped in your tracks, too afraid to even breathe let alone scream for help.
There was rustling to the right of you, and before you knew it a large, less than pleasant looking man came out and strode in front of you, large smirk present on his face.
Ears adorned his head, surrounded by spiky blonde hair while a canine like take came peeking around his body. It swayed back and forth threateningly. When you made eye contact with him, you gulped.
“It’s dangerous for some like you to be out here alone.” He said knowingly, almost teasing you with his words. Of course he knew it was dangerous, for he was one of the many factors that made it dangerous.
You almost nodded in agreement, but a part of you remembered you could do him one better. Grabbing the wooden basket your mom had packed with so much love, you opened it and thrust it toward him.
“I- I have some food in here, but that’s all I have.” You said pathetically, voice small due to your fear. He scoffed at you as if he was offended you’d even bothered. Of course a wolf wouldn’t enjoy some measly bread and food, he wanted meat. He wanted you.
“You dumbass, you really think I have a use for this?” He asked you loudly, making you flinch. You shook your head earnestly, not trusting yourself to speak for fear you’d break out into tears.
The wolf seemed to have noticed your fear, for he took a step back and tried to calm himself down. Well, as much as he could make himself.
“What’re you doing out here?” He asked, still glaring at you but noticeably quieter. You peered at him questioningly, wondering why on earth he would care. Part of you thought of lying, but you figured that would make him even angrier with you.
“My grandmother... She’s sick, so my mother packed me some things to bring to her...” You trailed off, voice still quiet. He seemed to think about your words before sighing and grumbling to himself.
“I’ll take you there. You’re lucky you ran into me, the other wolves ain’t so nice. But that doesn’t mean I’m a softy. Hear that, fucker?” He asked, making you nod in response. For as scary as he was, he didn’t seem to be that bad.
“Yes. Thank you...” You trailed off once more, hoping he’d give his name.
“Bakugou.” He seemed to have sensed your dilemma, and grunted his name to you. You nodded and gave him a small smile. “Thank you, Bakugou. I’m Y/N.” You said even though he hadn’t asked. It only felt polite, and you wanted to be nothing but polite to the wolf that had not only spared you from himself, but the rest of the wolves in the forest as well.
Bakugou walked alongside you in silence, seeming not to care whether you engaged in conversation or not. His gaze was dead set ahead, and only peered over to you where there came to be a turn in the path, wondering which way you needed to go.
“Do you see a lot of travelers?” You asked him, deciding you were sick of the silence that engulfed you. He rolled his eyes in response.
“If I didn’t see any travelers, this path would be overgrown by now. ‘Course I do, they just don’t like seeing me.” He said simply. The vagueness in his answers led you to more curiousness.
“Why, are they scared?” You asked innocently, looking at him and noticing the way his ears twitched whenever you moved, or whenever there was a noise in the distance. His eyes narrowed a bit.
“They try to hunt me. You don’t know that? The only people who come through here are poaches, that’s why I was surprised to see your ass coming through here without a weapon.” He answered you once more.
You frowned at his words. Sure, you’d heard of poaching within the woods, but you’d never seen it. In fact, you were fairly certain it wasn’t even allowed in the area, so the though made your blood boil.
“I can’t believe they do that,” You pouted. “You’re so nice, though!” You exclaimed, throwing your arm into his direction while he looked at you with mild annoyance and a tinge of interest.
“Fuck off. Doesn’t even matter that much, I ain’t goin’ down that easy.” He shrugged in response. Part of him tried to ignore the warm feeling he got when you complimented him, and he had to will the urge to wag his tail away.
You didn’t seem very pleased with his answer, but you quit talking for a second. Bakugou could practically see the gears churning in your head. When you had a small intake of air, he knew you’d had some sort of epiphany.
“You can stay with me when I get to granny’s house! She’s super nice, so I’m sure she’ll lend you a spot to stay for the night. And in the morning, you can come with me to my house. Mom might not like it as much, but I’m sure she’d get used to it.” You smiled, proud of yourself for devising such a plan.
Bakugou looked at you with surprise, and then disinterest. “I can’t believe you made it as far as you did without getting killed,” He said more to himself than you. “You’re going to invite a wolf into your house.”
You made an indignant noise at him. “You’re a nice wolf! You’re basically a human with a couple extra appendages and some additional instincts. Nothing I can’t handle, plus you’re the first friend I’ve made in a while! We both win.” You smiled up at him, hanging onto his arm as he glared down at you.
Bakugou figured it’d take him a while to ween you off of your idea, so he shrugged it off and did his best to change the conversation.
“Shut up and walk faster! I can’t stand watchin’ that cloak for much longer, it’s giving me a headache.” He grumbled to you, making your eyes glow with excitement.
“So that’s a yes to staying with me?” You asked, voice full of hope. Bakugou felt the same happiness and embarrassment he did earlier, making him shake his head to rid the feeling from his body.
“It’s a ‘walk faster and then I’ll think about it.’ Okay?” He asked, really not giving you time to answer before he sped up his pace, making you run to catch up.
