( tw: murder mention, abandonment mention ) is that rafael silva? no, that’s just jordan "jordi" garcia. he/they (genderqueer) are a halfblood who was born on 30/04/2001 and works as a owner of the green room (flower shop) in hogsmeade. when he went to hogwarts, they were in hufflepuff. rumor has it he moved to the u.k. after their mother left him and his sisters after his father murdered three people. some say he is friendly and helpful but i’ve heard others say he can be paranoid and trusting.
hey jordan garcia! has anyone told you that you look exactly like rafael silva, or is that just me? either way, it’s good to see you! you’ve got 24 hours to get to your dorm, or someone might take your spot! don’t forget to check out your welcome pack to help you get settled in!

one of the reasons i love cosmic horror so much is that despite the fact that early cosmic horror was shaped heavily by the fears of racist white men, now that writers of color and queer people are getting their hands on it, it's becoming less about "the corruptive influence of a terrifying unknowable Other in a universe that doesn't care about your generational wealth or the '''achievements of your race'''" and more about "the universe was not made for us and greedy men in power will sacrifice everything they can playing with forces beyond their comprehension because they're under the delusion of their own power, but still we survive and we thrive and if we beat our chests hard enough and scream loud enough we will Make The Unknowable Other Balk at the fact that we are Here"
