#Imaging now. fucking hell.
God. Even with everything yeah. Radiations still gonna fuck with him. Someone's gotta be Tricks' inner voice to stop him even when/if he's loose.
Divert the energy to Toshiko, doing everything he can but humans can't lose that much blood. Not from where she was shot.
Yelling for the Captain as Gwen does more, but Tricks would've known the moment he got there, there wasn't enough time.
And oh how that'd *haunt* him

[ID: an 11 panel comic featuring characters from the owl house. Panel 1- a cloaked Darius sneaking around a wall. panel 2 he peaks around the corner, saying "well? Did you retrieve...the package?". Panel 3 Hettie Cutburn (who has old Hollywood style text announcing "surprise Hettie Cutburn!" next to her) says "Darius! Of course! Took some digging but I found them eventually. Tell the boy I say 'hi!'". Panel four- she hands documents labeled "classified" to Darius. Later, Hunter (post timeskip) walks through a door in Darius' home, saying "hey Darius, hey Eber, I'm ba-". Next panel- Darius, Willow, and Eberwolf on the couch. Hunter says "...willow?", She replies "hey hunter!", he asks "what are you guys doing?
Darius says "oh nothing...except looking at pictures of you as a baby!" Holding up the documents from earlier. We see two pictures of a younger hunter framed like panels- the first is of hunter as a baby/toddler aged hunter freshly sprouted out of the ground with a blanket around him, covered in dirt, while the second one shows a young scout Hunter covered in bandages receiving his sprig plushie. Darius' narration reads "courtesy of Hettie Cutburn- she found the only surviving copy of your early life medical records and gave them to me". Willow says "aww, you were so cute!". The final panel shows Hunter looking embarrassed/stunned as Willow takes a photo of the documents, and Darius says "I'm considering it an early father's day present- so, thank you, Hunter". End ID]
MERRY DADRIUS WEEK!!! Thank you to @sergeantsporks for hosting! There's other prompts I wanna do but they'll probably be late (maybe I'll do them in bulk and upload them on the final day). Til then here's a silly comic!

Oh boy, you've done it now. You've hit me with ✨️inspiration✨️ so now I must write, you've been warned.
Emily: I don't see why there couldn't be another God. Maybe the Lord created them! Gave himself a brother, or sister? It sounds pretty lonely being the only one of your kind...
Adam *stops sipping on his drink*: Like a pantheon? Nah. Can't see G doing that.
Sera: Emily, I know you are young and it might seem hard to understand have great our Lords powers are, even now, I too can find it almost impossible to believe too.
Sera *behind Readers view butterfly, cupping here hands gently around the wings as much as possible*: A piece of our Lord has returned to us, he has come to observe us and it isn't our place to question his motives or judge the form he takes.
Emily: But-
Adam: Listen Em, the big G does this kinda stuff some time. He just checks in through a beam of light, or on a divine chariot or appears as a burning bush, says hi and then checks out again, used to do it all the time. And yeah, sure, they don't sound like how he normally does but like, this is God we're talking about, can change his voice at will.
Emily: BUT-
Sera *gently petting Emily's head: See Emily? Our Lord may work in ways we may never understand, he may have bestowed on us knowledge and awareness that may seem too vast to comprehended, but I assure you that he is doing it all for our own well-being.
Emily: ... Okay.
Emily: Hey, Adam was built in the Lords image, right?
Adam: That's right, Em! I'm might not look exactly like the big G but he got all the important parts right atleast. *nudges Emily with his elbow before going back to sipping his drink*
Emily: Then... Whose image was Lillith built in?
*A few seconds of silence passed*
Sera *putting a hand over her mouth*: ...
Adam *dropping his drink in shock*: Oh. Fuck.
Anon can I just say... YOU'RE A FUCKING GENIUS I LOVE YOU /P
I have been blessed with a beautiful idea that I shall use in the future😌
This has actually genuinely saved me as I didn't have any real idea of how would I make them think that reader could be God's sibling where it also would make sense. The idea of Emily introducing the idea to these two is so real actually. Although I do think it would take a little bit more to convince Sera, in particular, to be 100% on the idea, she would be on board with Emily's idea soon after😭

I had this realization a few days ago when reviewing what we know about Gaster while theorizing about the mysterious Valentine from the newsletter and idk if other people have pointed this out yet, but I haven't seen anyone else talk about it:
I don't think Gaster's disappearance has anything to do with Core.
The Core is only mentioned in relation to Gaster once, in this dialogue from one of the Gaster followers:
This dialogue is why most theories and fanon built around the idea that Gaster fell into the Core, which for reasons unknown to us erased him from existence. But I'm now pretty convinced that this is a red herring, because it doesn't actually say Gaster fell into the Core. It says he made the Core, and that he fell into his creation.
It does not say that this creation is the Core.
The dialogue is written in a way that leads you to assume the creation he fell into was the Core, but that doesn't really make much sense considering the rest of the dialogue.
The dialogue says "they say he created the Core," which implies this is second hand knowledge, but then says with certainty "One day, he fell into his creation." Why do they know for sure he fell into "his creation," but only knows he created the core from what others say?
If you talk to the follower again, they say "Will Alphys end up the same way?" Why would Alphys also fall into the Core? As far as we know, Alphys doesn't maintain the Core; if I remember correctly, a few monsters at Mettaton's hotel are stated to work in the Core, so wouldn't this follower be more concerned that those monsters will end up like Gaster and not Alphys?
And another question that I think fanon has just ignored due to the assumption it was something we don't yet know about, but I am now wondering about: Why would falling into the Core erase Gaster from time? When traveling through Hotland and viewing the Core in the distance, Alphys says this:
And while this dialogue may at first seem indicative that the Core is more mysterious than a normal geothermal power generator (and it is in some ways), remember: Alphys didn't build the Core. Alphys doesn't understand how the Core works, not because it has some unnatural property that could erase people from space time, but because she didn't build it. Not only does this mean that the Core is likely just a power generator that utilizes the lava in Hotland to produce geothermal energy and convert it to electricity, it also means that Alphys doesn't work on the Core, because she doesn't know how it works. So why would the Gaster follower worry about Alphys ending up like Gaster if she doesn't have any involvement with the Core?
Additionally, that Gaster follower is the only one to mention the Core in relation to Gaster. In fact, one of the other followers says something that could be interpreted as actively contradicting his erasure being caused by the Core:
This follower says "his experiments went wrong," and doesn't mention the Core. Why would Gaster be experimenting with the Core? And if he was, we don't know anything about it.
But you know what experiments we do know Gaster was working on, because it's literally one of the only pieces of dialogue we have from him?
And do you know what other creation was presumably made by Gaster, as Alphys is unfamiliar with it's operation? That is also a creation that was actively being used in experiments, which Alphys is continuing to perform herself? Experiments that are directly involved with something we already know can alter time and space? A creation that is located in one of the most mysterious areas in the game with several oddities in it that are straight up never explained, multiple fourth wall breaking moments, and a couple explicit references to things we believe are associated with Gaster? A creation that suspiciously resembles in appearance the form of a character who canonically can alter time and space, not to mention resembling the thing that's literally called a GASTER BLASTER???

I like talking about my ocs and I like hearing about other people's ocs, so let's talk about them because why the hell not ( part 1? )
Question, what was your MC doing right before they arrived in the Devildom for the 1° time? I'll start: Magnus was peacefully sleeping inside a bus while making their way home when they got summoned & pulled inside the Council Room, falling on the floor ( ouch ) in front of the brothers and Diavolo.

Someone shared a post about the pear of anguish, saying it was used to torture slaves, and I thought its design was interesting but something felt slightly off, so I looked it up.
The first thing you see when you look this thing up is that its usage is disputed.
Apparently the mechanism doesn't seem to work the way it's said to work? It's said that people would slowly enlarge the opening in order to spread an orifice wider and wider, and that it could even break jaws.
The thing is, this device does not seem to open in this way. It seems to spring open. The screw mechanism is for closing it.
I relayed this information, thinking this was someone who would actually care about fact checking. "It might not actually have worked in this way. Its usage is disputed."
For some fucking dadblamed reason, they took this as me... questioning the existence of racism? And denying the suffering of black people?
I do a little more digging, and it's basically the same thing over and over. One guy insists that it's totally a torture device, because why else would it be in torture chamber museums?
I don't know, buddy, maybe because people like to make up stories and scare others.
That's one running theory for the existence of this thing: people wanted a good story. They wanted to be able to sell that story in order to make money. So they made elaborate devices and charged people to see them, or displayed them in order to scare their guests.
This part of the speculation, by the way, is from medieval times. There are no modern accounts of this item's usage.
We have so many accounts of slavery. We have so many ways to spread information. We're still able to converse with some of the children of the people who are still alive. We can still see the documents they left during that time.
Why would they leave this out? If it were actually in use, why would they relay the whippings, the confinement, the rape, the starvation, the harsh working conditions, the lynchings, the forced assimilation, and just... not mention this part?
Their friend piled on. I told him my statement was based on the way the device functions, and not "white people wouldn't do that." I told them that I didn't expect better from him, because I didn't know him, but I did expect better from them.
Apparently this was me making assumptions.
Gonna be honest, I didn't read the entirety of their responses, because this sort of thing is maddeningly upsetting to me. I thought I was safe to say something because, when I accidentally sent them a video by Alexis Nelson, they called it funny and informative. I know that doesn't seem like much, but... honestly, Alexis isn't going to be up everyone's alley, and sometimes that's due to bigotry. So I thought they would actually care, and not be mad about being checked. I've been in that situation plenty of times, and I normally don't say anything if I don't think I'm going to get through. I only say something if I have hope for that person.
I thought I might actually have a potential friend, and said person responded to "Hey this information might not be accurate" with... honestly, I can barely even parse the way they worded things? Something about slavery happening whether it was disputed or not.
I just wanted to fact check an unsourced facebook post.

gortash and pre-amnesia abaddon are dominating my brain rn. horrible people in love is so fucking good
technically not in love at this point, i picture this happening closer to the beginning of their alliance. nowhere near trusting each other yet but at least secure enough in each other's dedication to the cause. a playful moment where abaddon refers to gortash as My Lord, putting on airs to act as one of the fancy ladies of the courts he's more accustomed to lately, and him playing right along. coincidentally, the first time they ever actually touched.
something i couldn't include here with how messy this is: i picture abaddon as having some aasimar-like traits, being the child/aspect of a god, and one of their personal quirks is having their skin briefly turn pitch black at the touch of others before slowly fading. so gortash noticing how his lips leave a mark on the back of their hand as he's pulling away and filing that little detail away for later.
(there shouldn't have been a mark, because formal hand kisses typically don't actually involve lip-to-hand contact, but he was being cheeky)
((quickly glanced at one of these pose assets for a general reference))
bonus: i haven't drawn gortash before and i needed to practice, so some quick doodles of the power couple i did before the bigger piece
tyrant-slaver-jackass and his cannibalistic-antichrist-serial killer girlfriend
