First negative experience with the new 1k peso bill. I have a small wallet, it's like a big coin purse with only 1 zipper. I usually fold my bills in quarters to fit it. I can usually pay with the bill folded that way. Tonight, I took the bill out and it had a dog ear fold. The cashier had to go ask her supervisor (probably) if they could accept the bill. It was denied because, as she said, they only accept the bill with 1 fold, and mine had 4? folds. So, thanks for the inconvenience BSP, and to whoever decided to redo the bill. You're brilliant (🙄).

I don't know if they put any thought into this change. I think they should give away wallets that fit the bill so as not to crease it.
