you wanna know my thoughts? biker san, bad boy of the neighbourhood who comes across you by chance when you're out with your camera, trying to capture a photo of the landscape in the golden hour for a little competition- nothing fancy, you just finally managed to gather the guts and enter a competition with this new skill/hobby.

you can't seem to get the perfect shot. like everything is perfect- the sun looks absolutely breathtaking with the pastel hues of the sky, the saturation is perfect, the main road is mostly empty- lack of traffic which might be what's making this shot look empty. the road is reflecting the sunlight beautifully too, but you just need a little something-

you were so focused on changing the settings of your camera and sulking that you almost didn't hear the sound of the heavy bike rolling behind you until it came to a pause and you realised it wasn't bg noise. you weren't sure what you were expecting but this was not it- the flashy jacket and helmet threw you off.

"looks like you're having a little trouble," the man said as he took off his helmet and you internally wowed when he stopped ruffling his hair and finally looked at you- all sharp angles and perfectly sculpted that softened into something sweet when he smiled a little. "couldn't help but find your sulking cute when i stopped by the signal."

"oh," you finally exhaled, not realising you had been almost holding your breath. "yeah, um... yeah," you looked at the camera and then back at him, finding him grinning at you and you felt flustered- he must be finding your inability to form a proper sentence quite funny. you straightened, "i'm just trying to take a shot of the golden hour but it looks empty."

"i see," he looked in the direction you pointed. "i don't know much about photography, but is there any way i can help? i could take you to a better location if that's what you want."

"that's a kind offer... but i'm not sure i would want to get on a bike with a stranger," you politely declined.

"of course," he nodded, understanding.

"but..." you scratched your chin. "there's another way you could help. do you mind being a model for my shot? i'd like to capture your silhouette- it would look perfect."

he raised his brows, wondering if there was a compliment hidden somewhere there. "uh... i haven't tried that but i think i could pose with your help?"

"yes, thank you," you sighed in relief and he finally relaxed. you asked him to just stand in the middle of the road when he's sure it's safe and there's no traffic, and to simply look in the distance. take off his helmet. play with the bike. surprisingly, he was quite good at it and you wondered if this was a flirting tactic in his book.

but you soon got your answer- when you showed him his photos and he reacted with surprise, you knew then that it was his first time actually posing with the bike. "it's definitely you, it can't be me."

"i only clicked a photo, you were the one who made it pretty," you told him for the umpteenth time, cheeks hurting from smiling and laughing as you scrolled through the photos and chose the best shot. you told him about your competition entry just now and he got all anxious, saying if you had told him earlier he would have tried better but you insisted he did a great job anyway.

"tell you what- if i win this, even 2nd or 3rd prize... i'll treat you to dinner."

"on one condition," he smiled.

"what?"

"if you like me by the end of the dinner enough to trust me a little, let me drop you home on my bike."

you considered him. was it something he was used to offering people?

"i get to be your first model, and you get to be the first passenger," he told you. you found yourself smiling at that and you nodded slowly, both of you caught in a trance as you stared at each other, lost in trying to process a gazillion thoughts in your heads. you finally broke the silence and asked for his contact number.

"your name?"

"choi san."

suddenly, you're frozen in your spot and you manage a weak smile, praying he didn't detect that little pause. because there's no way he's the choi san. the 'bad boy' you've heard so much about from your friends-- just what had the told you? something about him being a biker, yes, and then?? you can't seem to recall and you internally curse yourself for tuning them out whenever they ranted about boys. you wished you had actually paid attention, but all you know is that he's not supposed to be good news.

but here he is, with his innocent smile and curious eyes. is this a facade? a trap? you can't tell, because you genuinely don't recall what you've heard about him. you've def seen him ride his bike around- it was odd how many people rode bikes here, you thought when you moved to the neighbourhood a few months ago. if he's the playboy they say he is, you'll have to tread cautiously.

"thank you again," you grinned at him, the suspicion in his eyes disappearing. "i'll text you when they announce the winners."

"you did a great job," he patted your shoulder. "if you don't win, i'm treating you anyway."

you laughed at that- a genuine laugh. "offer accepted."

you might regret that phrase. in the week that followed, you got closer through texts and you learn more about who he is (with you). and then on the day they announce the winners, before you text san, you finally call your friend and ask him about the infamous biker so when you sit before him, you know who you're facing.

but learning that he's a notorious playboy who's way too messy to get tangled with doesn't stop you from having a good time at the dinner you treat him to. and when you get on the bike with him, you think it's the most thrilling moment of your life as he races through the streets and alleys. so thrilling that you ask him to take the longer route and he obeys, showing you how the river looks at night- a blur of colourful lights being reflected on the surface, something you'd like to take a shot of. you tell him that when you make him drop you outside your block.

"can i take you there then, when you decide to go?" he asks. "as an assistant this time?"

your smile is his answer.

I haven't really worked on much the last couple of days. I may be suffering from burnout due to working on backgrounds one after another, and the effort has made me tired....well, if I'm being honest, I've just been tired in general XD. As far as finding motivation, I haven't been forcing it and have just been chillin' until it decides to come back.

I was hoping the burnout would go away before the weekend cause I'd personally like to get back to drawing and finishing up the bgs, but life might have other plans. Some last-minute bills have come up that I accidentally forgot about, normally I'm better at remembering and write the dates down, but ehh, it happens. I might have to go in to work the weekend anyway. So I don't see myself being very protective this weekend. A mild hiccup in my plans lol so bear with me guys. Hopefully I'll get my motivation back soon, amongst everything else.

Hey everyone! Time for the bi-weekly tumblr update for Steamberry stuff! Except I skipped one because I can't remember why.

I half-wrote it but I think I just wasn't feeling up to finishing and posting.

I haven't been doing extremely well health-wise lately but still powering through.

Summary

Finished writing Chapter 5.5 (the new chapter in WSC)

Finished editing Chapters 6, 7, and 8 of Asher's path

Finished all the profiles for the GS lore book

Have started wrapping up the "side stories" and additional content for the GS lore book

Ramble

Okay so in my last update I was in the middle of editing chapter 5 and was nearly to the start of chapter six in editing Asher's route. I finished up chapter 5...

At that point when I was looking ahead, I started feeling like I wanted to add in a transition scene to move between Chapter 5 and Chapter 6.

As I started plotting out this scene, one of my ideas took on a life of its own and I realised that it might be better to interject a new, fleshed out story incident that would allow me to slow the pacing as well as flesh out the setting and universe a little more. This incident would also let me tie into some earlier events and connect them to something that occurs in chapter 6, also foreshadowing the chapter 6 incident.

Ultimately, this became too much to call a "scene" and I decided to branch it off into a supplementary chapter (IE a chapter a bit shorter than the others and meant to be released along with another chapter.)

Then that chapter ended up being 30,000 words.

So that happened.

After finishing that I went on to finish editing chapters 6, 7, and 8. I am currently on chapter 9. I only have a few more chapters before I'm finished editing Asher's path. As always, during my edits, one of the main things I do is flesh things out.

So obviously the word count has grown from that (and, you know, the 30k extra chapter I invented).

Currently the word count is 468,000 words.

Other Stuff:

I have received several new BGs and a new BG sketch. BGs are continuing to come in at a fairly steady pace.

I now have all the BGs for The Ophelia and the artists are working on other locations finally. OwO

I've also been, here and there, doing small tweaks to the sprites, small additions and fixes.

Gilded Shadows:

As I mentioned, I finally got through all the character profiles. There are so many more characters than I remembered in this game.

Then I got halfway through and realised that I forgot five. And had to insert them, which...meant rearranging pages, which is a pain in the butt. However, that is now complete.

What I'm working on now is finishing up some of the short stories and drabbles I have planned or partially written out and getting them into the lore book. 

As well as gathering any other content. The lore book is currently about 350 pages. And I am really hoping to wrap it up soon.

Upcoming Weeks:

Next couple of weeks I will be trying to wrap up the lore book and wrap up editing Asher's Path.

When I finish editing Asher's path I'll be moving on to finish drafting the end sequences for the four remaining characters. I'm starting to have an idea of where the word count is going to end up but will have a better idea for sure when Asher's edit is complete.

I have written over 100,000 words since mid-August, just plugging away and trying to hit at least 1000 words a day.

I hit my year end word count goal of 466,000 words for When Stars Collide but unfortunately did not finish the draft because the draft has grown in size.

But I am really hoping to finish it early next year so we can fully move into phase 2 of When Stars Collide.

I am also hoping to get the final KS stuff resolved for Gilded Shadows early next year as well (the lore book, art book, and some residual art and stuff).

For now, I shall just keep plucking away at it until it's all done.

recently i got an ask on how i edit my instagram screenshots and here in gemville, all you have to do is ask and you shall receive my child

fun stuff under the cut!

this guide will be divided into two parts: how i take & edit my gameplay screenshots and how i edit my simstagram posts

before we get into the actual tutorial, here are a list of things that i use to help me take better screenies :)

gshade

i'm using an older version of gshade because - thanks to my procrastination - i never updated the version before everything went to shit.

2. presets!

i switch around between presets a lot lmao but for the most part, i use ellcrze's gshade preset for my family dynamics save, sunset n vinyl for my globetrotter save & sim download pictures and a modified boho dreams for my tjol legacy save (first post coming up soon!) sometimes i use lithium for cas pics too :p click here for a somewhat detailed explanation lol

3. tab mode camera mod

this camera mod is a godsend and makes taking screenshots soooooo much easier! 😌 i highly recommend getting this mod!!!

i think i mentioned this before in an ask - i edit my screenshots in photoshop before posting them on tumblr :D i don't really do much, just running a few actions and cropping my screenies. gshade does most of the work for me lol

this tutorial by @buglaur is insanelyyyy helpful omg i based my entire editing process on her tutorial, except for the colouring part because i'm lazy hehe

here's an example of my screenshots before and after editing (cropping the screenshot and running some actions)! there’s not much difference because as i said earlier, gshade will basically carry your entire editing process 💀

sometimes i put text in my pics like these screenies below :) i mainly use these two fonts - winkle and lemon milk :D

here's what you neeeeeed

1. photoshop

i'm using a 🏴‍☠️ version of photoshop that i got from a somewhat sketchy website but it runs great so i'm not complaining 💀

2. instagram post template and instagram story template

3. the actual instagram app

this is how i add text and emojis to my simstagram posts lol

disclaimer: i am NOT a photoshop expert. there's probably an easier way to do what i'm about to show you, but this works for me and i don't really mind the steps hehe

first things first, you're gonna want to open the psd files on photoshop and it'll look like this, depending on which file you opened

i usually just hide the layers that i don't need so in this case i'll hide the tagged users layer from the story psd and the bg layer from the post psd.

these are the layers that i hide but you can also leave them on if you want hehe totally up to you my dude. then you'll end up with something like the pics below

now we move on to the profile pictures! so what i do is i click these layers (shown below) and go 'file > place embedded > selected picture'

once you do that, you'll end up with something like this (below)! use 'ctrl + t' to resize your picture to fit into where the profile picture would go.

right click on the layer of your selected picture and click 'create clipping mask'. then you can hit 'ctrl + d' to adjust the picture to your liking!

now for the actual pictures for the posts. click on these layers (shown below) and go 'file > place embedded > your selected picture'

now all you have to do is 'ctrl + t' to resize your pictures, right click on the layer of the selected picture and click 'create clipping mask' then 'ctrl + t' again to adjust the pics!

after this whole process, i'll export my pics to my family dynamics folder on my desktop and queue it up on tumblr! :D sometimes my simstagram story posts have text and emojis like these ones below

all i did was upload the pics to google drive, download it to my phone, add text/emoji on the actual instagram app then saving the story to my phone... a lot of work but i don't really mind <3

So a review on Helluva boss So2 ep 6

Ok so gonna break this review down into positives and negatives with my additional thoughts.

Positives:

So always start off with this, big props and love to the animation team we know know and see your struggle working under Vivienne and animating her over-complicated designs. Props to the BG team really stunning backgrounds, was actually a bit over the top for me (Ozzie's palace and especially the dildo factory shit was moving way too fast) but did pause to have a look at the BGs it is really pretty, the shit pacing made everything a visual blur tho.

VA work stunning love always a joy to hear Alex and James in any VA work tho Fizz's song was eyyy not the best but don't blame Alex it was a shittly written song in general especially when it went to the heavy metal part, overstimulating af and again shit pacing during the song and the flashing visuals gave me a headache. Striker's new VA, Ed's voice really grew on me he should've been Striker in the 1st place because I know for a fact Norman couldn't reprise his role for future episodes.

I loved Ozzie and Fizz's relationship especially the end scene where you can see Ozzie development or got hold of the best technology to give Fizz functional limbs, was a tender scene their relationship and interactions made me smile. I'll give Viv 1 ty for not fucking up their relationship, ty Viv (I can be nice to her :). Tho 1 scene that bothered me... the 12 sec Ozzie dong scene 💀 my soul it was just so jarring especially with the fast pacing. Felt like a race car coming to an immediate stop then speeding off again. Would've like the scene replaced with Fizz telling Bliz something nice about Ozzie, why Fizz likes him. I'm tired of queer couples/pairings in this show describing their partner in 2 ways, 1. how good they are in bed or 2. they got x anatomy that's amazing. But its Viv writing this ep, sigh her and her damn middle school sex jokes I'll let it slide.

Now negatives:

I said it before I'll say it for all eternity, the pacing was dogshit bad oh my soul wtf... Viv, Adam whoever I know you guys don't listen to criticism but if any criticism you take fix your damn pacing 😑. I had to pause multiple times just to see what has happening, what was said, what this paper/sign etc said. It was bad, and that paired with the overdetailed BGs and character designs, for the 1st time ever I got overstimulted from a HB ep and had to take a 5 min break to rest my eyes (was by Fizz's song). Its a noisey spinning kaleidoscope this ep, so unpleasant and its all pacing. Stay on certain scenes a bit longer and allow the audience to take in the scene before them (that flackback scene) its makes a difference. If you get overwhelmed/overstimlated ect by such visuals I recommend watching the leaked episode its much better in terms of pacing since its mostly storyboards and there is no color, plus its just the VAs talking with no background music and zero to minimal sound effects.

I didn't care for Crimson in this episode, I know he became Viv's favorite 😒 but seeing this fucker back so soon, it wasn't enjoyable, especially since the only reason he's in this ep is for a "big score" 😑. Also I'm tired of this over convenient plots, Fizz so happened to be in the greed ring and so happened to run into Blitz and Striker so happened to be in greed meeting with Crim who need a man for a "big score" AND SO HAPPENED Striker sees Fizz/Blitz fighting outside the window 🙃. Its all too convenient for me it takes me out and I then think how the plot coming together is ridiculous.

Striker is so under utilized. Since Viv hates him (confirmed by sources I can't pull now apologies) and she wrote this episode, everything established of Striker in So1 is destroyed. He's a husk of his intended character, all talk no show, a misogynistic clown who you can see Viv has no care writing him properly because she doesn't like him which is fucking horrible, this woman will butcher an integral villian, one with a good motivation (he hates blue-bloods) all because "oh I don't like him he's not in my fav OC list", petty af.

Fizz's disability and how its handled, spoke about it in this post:

It still remains the same though now we see it wasn't Wally holding the cake just some other imp and the card Bliz made for Fizz was a love confession still doesn't justify his reaction shoving the imp and his still underlying jealousy of Fizz since they were young. Yes it was backing off from a love confession/ashamed he's not as good a performer as Fizz, Blitz was jealous of Fizz. Made another post saying how I like how Fizz sees his disability, he's content, happy, has Ozzie who understands him and even made/went out his way to get Fizz the best prosthetics to better his quality of life, I like that good on Fizzy :).

5. Going to be a separate long post on (ಠ_ಠ) Blitz, THE FUCKING BIRD IS BACK 💀💀💀 why your rotisserie chicken ass not in hospital or we just skipping past that and how Viv keeps I'm gonna say it, forcing her characters to have daddy issues by writing this fucking irritating basic fanfic trope of killing the mother offscreen/not having the mother in the picture/us seeing her face. A commenter pointed this out and it irritates me because its the 3rd time she does this, she show Tilla (Blitz's mom) in pictures, you think there would be an episode revolving around Blitz's childhood etc but no she's "in" a fast paced pitty party flashback. This woman really can't show an ounce of respect to any female characters.

I lost my best friend on Sunday.

Life feels sad ever since. Sitting on my bed and not having her immediately come to my lap, or waking up without her weight and warmth on my legs feels excruciating. It's like having a lump in your throat that never leaves, or like being kicked so hard in the stomach that you're out of breath. Only this feeling is constant.

I oscillate between the terrible feeling that a massive part of my life is missing and the comforting sensation that I've accomplished my job in giving her the best life I possibly could. A sense of relief that she got to spend her last days with us, near me and her last minutes in this life in my room, in my bed (or her room, her bed, that she was kind enough to share with me).

Ugh… the only certainty we have in this life is the one of death, either way, I'm still always impressed at how much it hurts. Of how unprepared we are to deal with the excruciating reality of not having someone we love anymore. Of how in one minute they're here, and in the next they're not. Our brain struggles to process this fact. Yet, we keep going because that's all we can do.

Blume, I'm just so glad we've spent SO much time together throughout the years because I have all these nice pics of you. I'm happy that at least I could tell you everything I had to tell you in these last days. Even if it was hard, even if i couldn't help crying while holding your tiny little paw. But when you looked back at me with your big yellow eyes, I knew you were understanding me.

Even if you couldn't understand exactly my words, you were feeling the energy I was trying to convey to you when I told you that our love and connection is so strong that it overlaps the meaningless barriers of life. When I promised you our love is so strong and unique that it will make us meet again. Souls that connect this much, find their way to each other, one way or another. We are bound to meet again, in this life or the next.

And if you can see my pain rn, I hope it serves as evidence of how much I loved you, of how much you've meant to me, of how thankful I am that you chose me as your human. No other animal has ever done that to me before. Between a house with five people, with no evident reason, you chose me. It's been always hard for me to see myself as worthy of good things, but I keep thinking that if you loved me, if you saw little details in me that gave you comfort, maybe I'm not that bad.

So I'm gonna keep going and every time that life feels hard and hopeless, I'll think of you and keep going for you. Because if you trusted me, maybe I should trust myself too. Because I know that's what you've wanted.

In regards to tumblr, I need time. I will get better, I will address things and will accept this lost as I slowly get used to a life without her. But I need some days.

And to be honest, if I'm taking something from this time I've spent away, is that I haven't been dealing with tumblr and content creating in the best way lately. I've been neglecting my own feelings and mental health and attributing my worth to what I share or how much time I spend here. And this isn't healthy.

There are so many things out there we end up missing if we're too stuck in this mindset. A whole world around us that we go blind to. I will be back soon. But I need a few days. I hope you'll all understand ♡

hey all!!! preorder stock from august-sept has arrived! everything's looking great EXCEPT for my daft punk charms which came out not to my satisfaction - the transparent blue bg is too dark. SO im gonna be reordering these with the next preorder and they're gonna be delayed quite a bit. sorry for the extra wait but i wanna be satisfied with them!!

in the meantime ill be listing these as Bgrades for cheaper >:) and everything else from august is gonna ship out real soon, so keep an eye out for shipping notifs and such!!

I'd like to vent/rant here I'm sorry.. ;-;

I think I have ADHD. It's only this year that I've been struggling THIS much to stay organised and disciplined. I've been relating to more adhd memes than I should (I didn't even know they were adhd related)

I'm scared to get diagnosed and also to know if I don't.

If I get diagnosed I'll be trapped in the mindset that I'm going to struggle for the rest of my life.

If I know that I don't have ADHD, my self hate will amp up cause I can't do anything right. I'm a loser who can't do basic stuff trying to find something to blame for my loser-ness.

If I don't try getting diagnosed at all, 1. I'll be worried if I have it for a while, 2. Any existent ADHD in me will amplify and make my future adulthood much more difficult, 3. Self-hate stonks

(For some bg : I've been a "gifted kid" for pretty much all my childhood and now school is getting difficult and eiufhwhfhjejne)

firstly you are not a loser. i’m sorry you’ve been having such a hard time.

diagnosis is scary. it brings a lot of difficult, conflicting emotions with it. however, if you are in school, i would recommend pursuing evaluation as you will, in most cases, need something on record in order to get accommodations.

whether it ends up being adhd or not, it’s not “find[ing] something to blame” — you are struggling, there is a reason, and you deserve to find that reason and address it. how would you get help otherwise? it’s perfectly rational, you’re not making excuses. give yourself some grace ❤️

How would the Healthcare Boys deal with somebody passing off a case with the words "have fun with this one"? I've heard that's another thing you don't really want to hear from a coworker in healthcare.

Four took a breath to center himself before the phone rang. He'd just moved his one patient to the floor, so he was the one to take the first hit for an admission. The charge nurse had warned him that he would be receiving a patient who sounded rough, a direct admission from the ER who was currently too unstable for surgery.

After the third ring, Four answered the phone. "STICU, this is Four."

"Hey, Four." The ICU nurse immediately smiled, recognizing Legend's voice before he registered how worn out his friend sounded. "You ready for report?"

Four took another breath and clicked his pen. "Yes."

"All right, this is what I've got. Jane Doe, approximately mid-twenties in age, motorocycle crash into a tree. No medical ID tags, we're still trying to work out info and get her into the system. She was going approximately 50mph when she went off the road into the tree. Was wearing a helmet. She's been altered since EMS got to her on scene. They RSI'd her and did fluid resuscitation. She also got 2g of ancef. We gave her 3 units of reds and 1 FFP upon arrival. CT showed open book pelvic fracture, several rib fractures, she's got an open right femur fracture. FAST was negative, surprisingly. Head CT didn't show any major bleeds - chest, not so lucky. Possible cardiac contusion, her output is garbage, they've already done an ECMO consultation but they don't want to hold her here while they deliberate the issue. Your access is an 18G in the L AC and 16G in the R upper arm. We're going to pop an arterial line in her before we send her up to you, but that's about all that's left for that. Intubated, sedated, she's on propofol at 40, epinephrine at 8, levophed at 14, we've just been climbing higher and higher with that. She's finishing her FFP now. Oh, almost forgot, got a hemothorax on the L side, they put in a chest tube and she's drained out 300mL in the last hour."

"Coags?"

"Haven't had a chance to look, Four, I've been busting my ass down here. I know you have time to look at the labs. I'll get a gas as soon as we get the arterial line in, but the sooner we kick her to you the better. Have fun with this one."

With that, Legend hung up, just in time for Four to hear alarms blaring in the background before the succinct click and deafening silence.

Four took another breath. Well... this was going to be interesting.

Hyrule smiled as he brought in the stretcher. The patient gave a lopsided smile as well.

Ah. Well, that was problematic.

Warriors raised an eyebrow. "When was the last known well?"

"Literally right in front of us," Hyrule answered as he worked to move the patient to the bed with some help from other ER staff. "Probably about twenty minutes by now. She's down on her L side, completely confused, can kind of follow commands but her attention doesn't last. BG was 89, BP 182/79, HR 88, SpO2 in the upper 90s on room air. She's just been pleasantly out of it."

"She said he was cute," Mo chuckled as he rolled the stretcher out of the room. "Better watch yourself, Wars, she'll charm you."

Warriors snorted cheerfully as he signed out for report and got to work.

Hyrule gave a wave. "Have fun with this one!"

"Will do," Warriors laughed. Then he turned to his coworkers. "Let's get labs and get her ready for CT."

Saturday Report 3

One, two, seven, three is the number of this Saturday Report

Hello, this is another episode of looking for backgrounds and doing uniform edits.

As you can see from the screenshot down there, I got another uniform style for the school, and Mei and Gaby already have them. Just by doing these few edits I can already tell they will take a long time, mostly because the cube isn't very good at it... and that will also result in me coming back to the edits to edit more to look a little better. We'll get through it though.

In the Background hunt, I got pretty much all of Celeste's house, and I plan to get Lily's soon, those are the two most important houses for now since they're the main girls.

While I do edits and BG hunt I'm also doing a bit of code here and there, I mean those characters gotta be added at some point... Just a little coding though, trying to focus on stuff.

I have no idea when I'll start writing/rewriting, but I have started making plans of changes and stuff that will be added to the VN. It's been really fun to think of stuff, now let's hope when the time comes I can add them no problem. Also there were a few changes to the school map so here it is again.

Ooof, I got so many, I'm gonna put the three I'm currently obsessed with (bc I'm not sure I could choose just three as favorite)

Vegebul, my beloved, my OTP, the light in my life, the best anime couple imo

Trumai (yes, both versions), the successor of Vegebul, they have me in a hold just as strong as them, it's such a weird but fun pairing, I adore them

Hurrem x Suleiman (look at themmmmm) everytime suleyman spoke his poems to hurrem I melted, no ship has ever have such romantic quotes. Plus, i use a lot of their scenes for royal aus, it's just gold

I know you said three but I gotta give an honorable mention to Lawmane, who's ever present in my mind, even if I dont post about them as often as before. They would've been THE couple if only Misa hadnt fallen for that gay republican

2. First Ever Ship

I think it was either Sparrabeth or Quogan, I'm not too sure (Quogan was the first ship I've read a fanfic of tho). I'm still obsessed with both, maybe more than when I was younger. I remember wanting Spareabeth to be endgame and to know more of Quogan's life after the show's end, but now it's a NEED

3. Last Song

Funeral by Mon Laferte. It's an amazing song, it speaks of being in a loveless/passionless relationship and wondering how it got that way and wanting nothing more than for it to finally reach its end. My favorite part goes something like this: "While I prepare breakfast I feel so terribly alone, suddenly I want to die, I want to run away from you. I wish I was on the ocean, letting the waves carry me away, I want to stop breathing; dont wake me up, I want to keep dreaming about our funeral" not a perfect translation, but you get the point. The narrator feels so helpless and is so desperate to find a way put an end to that relationship, other part of the song reflects her regret on how they both let the relationship die and wishes she could go back in time and prevent it, but nonetheless their love has died and they're both wasting their time by still being together.

I listen to it a lot when I need to think an angst AU or something lol. But the singer is so good and shows such emotions through her voice, it makes me relate, even tho I've never been on that situation (thankfully)

If you want to get into Hispanic music, I definitely recommend Mon Laferte, she's one of my favorite artist, "Se me va a quemar el corazón" is another amazing song of hers that I recommend.

Amazing movie, it was fun and light to watch and not to be taken too seriously + it has my gf Anya Taylor-Joy (ORGULLO ARGENTINO), I took a peek at its tag on ao3 out of curiosity and I'm embarrassed to say who I'm shipping now, but if you know me, you can probably guess

5. Currently Reading

Nothing new, I've re read my favorite books, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Chronicle of a Death Foretold by GGM. The little prince was the first book ive ever read, I always heard it's a book you should read as a kid and then later as an adult, and my God, it's true, it's a completely different experience. 6 yo me thought it was a fun book about a man hallucinating in the desert, 24 yo me cred like a baby full of longing for a childhood I didn't appreciate and grief of the kid in me that inevitably died as I grew up and became an adult.

I never tire of reading CoaDF, everytime I expect the end to be different even tho the very beginning tells you what's gonna happen.

I dont have much time, so I choose those too bc they're a short read. However, I'm gonna start to reread asoiaf books too, bc I can never get enough of them

6. Currently Watching

Like I said, I have no time, so I stick to Sitcoms I can put on the bg while I work. I'm currently rewatching The Nanny, I forgot how much I loved it. And I swear, I'll start dressing as Fran as soon as I have time to buy new clothes, her style is just, mwah chef's kiss, obsessed.

And omg, I forgot how slow the burn in this show was, its Season 5 and they're still not dating!!!! Immabout to throw gasoline at them!!!!!

7. Currently Consuming

8. Currently Craving

TIME PLEASE, I NEED TIME TO BREATH, I HADNT DRAW ANYTHING IN SO LONG AND ITS AFFECTING ME SO MUCH

I also need to finish my fic and socialize more. So I crave time, I need a vacation.

I am deadset on finishing my long(ish) fic for Town of Salem. I need to finish it, I have so many WIPs in the graveyard already lol. That being said, the plot bunnies are hitting hard and I spat out the beginnings of a crackfic while getting stuck on dialogue. I refuse to post this on ao3 and make it yet another WIP that I will see sitting on my account so I shall put it here and free myself from this curse

"You’re joking," the Vampire Hunter said. "You’re all— this is some kind of elaborate prank or something. You can’t possibly look at him and tell me he’s not a vamp!"

The Doctor blinked at the Vampire Hunter, then at the supposed Bodyguard. It was clear that the Vampire Hunter was no more believed than before. 

"He's as confirmed as one can get," she said, kind but firm. "He protected the Mayor, remember? I had to rescue him the other night from drowning in a pool of his own blood after taking down that Serial Killer. He's sick, not undead. Lay off the poor man."

The Bodyguard in question was buried beneath several layers of jackets, face obscured by a scarf. "I’m fine," he said, voice dampened by the fabric. He shivered.

"You are wearing a parka in the middle of summer," the Vampire Hunter said flatly. "You look like a walking corpse. For god’s sake, your eyes are red."

"I've had worse," the Bodyguard insisted stubbornly. The Doctor patted his back. 

"Sleep early," she said crisply. "Don’t forget to drink plenty of water."

The Bodyguard nodded, rubbing at his temples. "Yeah. Yeah, I’ll be sure to do that," he said. "I’ll be up and ready tomorrow, I swear." 

He sounded so earnest that the Vampire Hunter almost questioned for a moment if the ‘Bodyguard’ was truly unaware of his condition; but surely not. There was no way a newly converted vampire could miss such a life-changing event, right?

Right.

This particular vampire was a talented liar for the Vampire Hunter to even entertain the possibility— not that it mattered. The Vampire Hunter would stake him tonight, regardless of any pretty words.

It was just frustrating that nobody else believed him.

"You cannot be serious," the Vampire Hunter said, and he wasn’t sure if he was talking to the Doctor, the Bodyguard, or the rest of the townspeople in the square. All of them, probably. "I stake vampires for a living. I know what a vampire looks like when I see one. It’s my job."

The Doctor sighed.

"It's just the flu," the Bodyguard said, muffled beneath the mass of coats. "I'll get over it."

The Vampire Hunter threw his hands into the air. "You're literally undead!"

"I'll get over it!" 

"How do you get over being undead?!" the Vampire Hunter said exasperatedly, and turned towards the rest of the townspeople. "Look, we have vampires. You all know it, because a Framer died to one at the beginning of the week and I staked another in the heart last night. So believe me when I say that this man—" he pointed towards the human coat-rack that was the Bodyguard— "has been bitten!"

There was a brief silence. 

The Bodyguard sneezed.

The Lookout came forward and clapped the Bodyguard on the shoulder. "Get better soon," he said, heartfelt. A chorus of well-wishes followed.

The Vampire Hunter slapped a hand over his eyes.

Then Town lynched the Retributionist, because they could, and everyone went home for the night.

(Yes, the BG is that stupid, he fell asleep and missed out on his own conversion.)
