Back when I was in 5th grade, my Dad got a rent-to-own PC with Windows 97 on it. There was like an encyclopedia on it (along with Grim Fandango, Rockett's New School, and the start for my AOL webpage themed around Ash from Pokemon running an Electric Gym)
Well, we had to do a paper on a famous person, I - unknowingly being a baby queer also born on May 26th- choose Sally Ride.
What did I do with that Encylopedia? I went into it, pulled up her Article, copied and pasted it to a document WITH the picture, changed nothing, and turned it in.
I got an A on it. I feel bad now that 5th graders can't do that anymore.
Does anyone else remember sometime in the 90s as a kid being woken up at like 3 or 4 am by this loud informercial commercial by timelife??
Ultimate love songs collection. I haven’t seen or heard this commercial since the 90s and seeing it now that I am an adult it brings me back to such nostalgia. Being a kid sleeping and suddenly woken up by the loud singing from Celine Dion or staying up all night with a stomach virus, can’t sleep and the only thing on tv at 3 am was infomercials or adult films on Cinemax after dark(for those who remember Cinemax after dark).
If you grew up in the 90s, which in my opinion was one of the best and chill decades, and you remember this commercial and other commercials such as this that sold 2 cd’s for $19.99 and was always loud at 3am for some reason, then you are my people. I think most 90s kids had similar childhoods.
Which one was the worst and why do you feel that way? You can only pick one.
For the record, I love all things Ninja Turtles to at least some extent, some more so than others but I can find some good in every version thus far. I picked these three for this because most of the fandom seems to dislike them. I’m just curious which is the most unloved and why.
