I know we Sanuso shippers sound like a broken record moving in between Skypiea, Water 7, Enies Lobby, and Sabaody, but... Those really are crucial arcs for both of them. They show their core personalities, even before their actual arcs (WCI and, hopefully, Elbaf, if Oda gives my boy Usopp all the attention he deserves there) and they're always together. They're paired together in each of those and they're together to witness each other's important moments and growth. And I just think it's something so beautiful. It's not exactly that they have crucial scenes, it's the fact that they're together to support each other in them.

#idk i just find it so beautiful like #wci is a crime for not having usopp but the way luffy acts in wci is different from how usopp would've reacted too #and i think that being together in their journey pretty much since the beginning gives such a beautiful perspective to their relationship #they're not invasive of each other's issues and trauma and they don't demand to be in each other's space. they just... they just are #it's like it's just obvious that if sanji is somewhere usopp will be there too #like they just exist next to each other #and this happened more pre-ts but it's quite obvious in gyojin island and punk hazard too that they're written to be together #and i am very sad #i love them a lot #one piece #black leg sanji #usopp #sanuso

listening to other peoples' character playlists is fun because you hear a song on it that you know and you're like 'oh hehe that makes sense' or 'oh wow this is making me consider this set of lyrics in a new way that's really cool'

however the other side of this coin is that you'll hear songs on a character playlist you haven't listened to otherwise and you go 'wow that's a cool song' but now everytime you listen to that song you're reminded of blorbo bleebus. this will forever be the blorbo bleebus song and there's nothing you, i, the song's artist, or even the person who made the playlist can do about it

Okay upon further thought it would've been so fucking interesting to see how MECH regarded Shockwave.

Just... Imagine them meeting Shockwave by chance, that would be such a terrifying scene for them. He'd have opinions on their projects, morality varies based on how one is writing Shockwave, but just. Imagine that. This also fits for Hazard but this post is for more than just the tfp au

Like also consider how CYLAS was on the Nemesis from s2 ep19 to s3 ep8, so a fairly significant while. CYLAS fascinates me for so many reasons and I feel like it would've been so fucking interesting if Shockwave noticed the pretty obvious Frankensteined together technoorganic (which MECH must've done well enough for CYLAS to live as long as he did with relative ease compared to all the other things that could have happened)

Your law is peak law. It’s cannon in the best of ways I swear. Semi goth fashion, air of badassery, general sadist in his hyper focus of surgery, oddly creepy. law is a hilarious type of character that i love thats pretty fucking cool and intimidating from a distance and then you come closer and he is WEIRD and intimidating but like in a creepy way so sense of self preservation dictates establishing the distance back again

him being a doctor is the most normal thing about him but in that he is so extreme and exceptional

i love that hes just an INTENSE guy to the point that its off putting and im very happy that people enjoy me making loving fun of him

I like how cub Cheezi appears to be reactive of others emotions.

Ed in general is calm and patient with his approach when it comes to Cheezi, so that helps the younger hyena a lot. Examples:

The cub wants to bother sleeping lions? Ed just quickly pulls Cheezi behind him, nudging him away from them but also gives him a comforting lick when Cheezi is surprised over it.

Cheezi doesn’t want to return into the den so he simply sits down and Ed is here like alright two can play that game and keeps sitting.

Cheezi’s tired but doesn’t want to sleep out of fear his dad will be gone? No worries it’s okay to be sleepy and he just starts cleaning him. It’s one of Cheezi’s worse days where the illness takes over but he just gives him an comforting chuckle before scooping him up and trying to find a better place where he can take his nap in peace. Doesn’t make a big deal when it comes to his sickness and just handles it in the most patient way.

He falls down from Ed’s back? Ed remains calm, stops and helps lessen the fall before licking him.

Banzai freaks out and quickly grabs him when Cheezi thought it was a good idea to sleep with his face in a puddle (mood Banzai) so Cheezi is all like WOAH what’s going on

A vulture pecks him and when everything has calmed down after all the trouble, Banzai lowers his head for a bump and a nudge to let him know it’s alright - helpful, Cheezi is the kind of cub who needs to be told that things are going to be okay.

Shenzi is nervous because first time babysitting the cub and even tells him that he is making her nervous - only makes him anxious as well so he tries to calm himself by shutting down even harder.

If someone is calm and patient, so will Cheezi everything else is just going to make him anxious. If he knows things are going to be okay, it’s alright but if someone else stresses over something he is just gonna go quiet.

Best to remain patient when the sickness is having his grip on him, if someone else is going to worry that will result in him not knowing what to do either and be scared as well.

i like writing young fire lord zuko because he's still grappling with his identity and he's still in the trenches of his trauma and unlearning the harm done to him and the harm he's done. and something i think is so important for someone who is going through that is that it's not just BAM he's redeemed and he's changing everything for the better and it's perfect. i think it's just as important to highlight zuko's conflict with trying not to Be Like Ozai as it is for people to be wary of zuko because He Is Zuko. like i think he's struggling both with taking up his father's horrible mantle but also with the name he's created for himself. because not only is it "zuko is a victim and he's trying to heal" but it's also "zuko was horrible and he has to reconcile that side of himself with who he wants to be going forward" and that's not easy
