you see I'm honestly not sure. I think that's what they are leading up too, yes, but I'm not sure how exactly we will get there or what role it's gonna play in the whole scheme of things. I know cody said he would fight rock anywhere, anytime, and Seth said he would be there to help so I could see them doing cody v rock leading up to mania, then somehow connecting that to a tag match. all I know is IF they do do that, I don't want it to take bayleys main event on night one. I just know that the rock is very much wrestling at mania bc it's been said that he signed a contract and that was one of the terms. so, we will just have to see.

1. Any scars?

Many...many, many, many...I have very bad balance, so I fall a lot. I am very clumsy so I hurt myself a lot. I am not very sensitive to pain, so there's scars from things digging into my flesh that I didn't notice until it was too late. I had surgeries, I had piercings, I had...bad days...So yes, my skin is a map and a chronicle of the life I've led.

I am 1.63 m...so roughly 5'3 or something...

So like, the characters themselves travel back/forward in time or a time change AU like instead of present day it’s medieval or Victorian times or vice versa?

Because different era AUs can be my SHIT depending on the era they’re using purely for aesthetics and the language, not the politics. Like Victorian style and language? *swoon*

Now the characters themselves traveling time in the story? I haven’t seen very many fics where that happens but depending on the fandom/circumstances I think it could be really cool and add some suspense/“I don’t know what’s gonna happen because this is so far off the train tracks”

May I ask for some details about your Tav? What do you mean by hasnt really lived as a tiefling before? Like literally has never seen another tiefling? Seems like being abducted by the mindflayers introduced major life changes to your Tav

I'm sorry this took so long to answer, but I ended up doing a whole bunch of art to answer this!

Ember has a really extensive backstory that's kind of long, but the short version of it is: she was caught in the crossfire of a deal her parents made with a devil. They couldn't have a child of their own because her mother was too severely ill, so they made the deal in the hopes of returning her health and along with it the ability to bear children. Unfortunately devil deals being what they are, they ended up with Ember who the devil stole from her birth parents.

Her mom was a high elf and her dad a half-elf, and her mom's side of the family were quite vocally anti-Tiefling. Because of her mother's health problems, however, they couldn't just sever contact with her parents because they relied on their money to cover the cost of healers, expensive potion ingredients and the like. They couldn't be trusted not to be a threat to Ember though, so the decision was made to disguise her as their biological daughter throughout her childhood.

As a result, Ember didn't even know she was a Tiefling until she was around 4 or 5, when she began to present as a sorcerer and accidentally undid the disguise spell (she ends up a bard thanks to her mom, but her control of magic comes from sorcery).

Before the events of the game, the most time she ever spent as a Tiefling was when she was 13- when her mom died and her dad disappeared, the disguise spell having relied on her mum's magic. She went through hell for a while after that and as soon as she could learn how to cast the spell herself, she jumped at the chance and went back to living as her old half-elf self. So when she gets taken by the Nautiloid, it's her being forced to actually live as her real self and as a Tiefling for the first time. As a result she doesn't have great control over her tail, because she's just straight up not used to having one.

She also spends a lot of Act 1 jumpscaring herself whenever she walks by a mirror lmao.

I do plan to do some comics that are set earlier in the game at some point, and those ones will explore more of her backstory. What I've done so far has just happened to be set in Act 3, after she's already sorted a lot of her shit out. I just have no idea when that'll actually be!

Oh my god he would adore these!!! Little knickknacks and souvenirs are the best, and he'd definitely fawn over these. I can imagine him happily displaying these little lads and lasses on the fireplace calling them something silly like the 'Ducklings Siblings'. Probably give them names and backstories too (they change spots and stories every time you visit).

And the fact you handmade them makes it so much better! A gesture like that he'd want to return tenfold. He'd be cooking up something similar for you the next time you see him (since his love language is gifting):

My goal for this piece, in addition to playing with patterns and textures and adding some Naruto references, was to add as many death flags as possible.

The idea of having Izuna in a fireman's coat is obviously not from me. I've always like the idea of Uchihas in fire resistant clothes, and the opportunity for a thick texture alongside a reversible double pattern is very appealing. I used the image of the second reference as a base, with skulls on one side and stylized lightning patterns on the other (visible inside the sleeves and collar). Both were common immagery of firemen coats.

The actual skull pattern is taken from the third reference. I'd seen this one before and before even learning anything abt it it was too beautiful to pass up. Those white and navy gradients are absolutely delightful and I enjoyed using my gel pens for them very much.... This particular type of imagery with skulls and bones in a field is called Nozarashi, inspired by Buddhist representation of death and transience.

The lightning pattern itself is a reference to water and lightning dragons :) Like Tobirama's iconic jutsu, it's one of the hints of what's abt to happen to our little guy. The scabbard is also decorated with dragon motifs for the same reason.

The background pattern is taken from the first reference, another fireman's coat with an illustration of Raijin, the thunder god. He is often representated with drums decorated with tomoes. It works nicely as a standard looking sharingan illustration, with a reference to Tobirama's hiraishingiris with the thunder imagery, like the thunder patterns inside the coat.

If you're interested in this I recommend the book linked in the second reference! It is entirely about skeleton motifs in japanese clothing of the early 20th century.
