My Favorite Human Characters In TFP

(and i dont like human characters in transformers lol)

Soooo, I don’t really like humans in Transformers. I came to watch/read about giant transforming robots who are like humans but still an alien species, why would I care about the humans when I can see humans anywhere? I do understand that the humans played a huge part in TFP but I still don’t really like them.

Nonetheless, here is my list from most favorite to least:

1.) Agent Fowler (He’s my favorite and I honestly don’t mind him! He actually had a reason to be there as a government official unlike the children and he’s pretty funny at times. He’s an enjoyable human character, imo!)

2.) Silas (Yes, we all hate him but come on… He made the show so interesting by giving us so many episodes. Breakdown rescue, Airachnid teaming up with M.E.C.H, Nemesis Prime, the human factor, Thirst… For the amount of episodes he gave us, he gets to take second place.)

3.) Rafael (Genius children exist irl so I guess that’s fair but how the heck does he understand Bumblebee? Cybertronians are forged knowing their own language, nobody taught them like how we need to be taught. Rafael never even met one but he understood Bee immediately. Yes, I know Ratchet was teaching him Cybertronian but that was way after he met Bee. I feel it would have been kinda better if he was techno-organic but then again, that would raise even more questions than him just being a human that can understand. Anyways, I liked his personality and his style was the most unique imo. If I recall correctly, the TFP art book said they were supposed to be hand-me-downs since he had a lot of siblings? He was good to help us see Ratchet’s softer side but still, why are the kids there. Anyways, Raf is relatively likable.)

4.) June (She’s only there cause the kids are there, she doesn’t really have a purpose in the show besides Fowler crushing on her.)

5.) Jack (I just find him boring, honestly. I feel it’s just meant to be “oh look!!! he’s a honorary prime!!! Not entertaining but not unbearable either.)

6.) … Miko (I’m not even going to get into why because this was post was supposed to be brief and I would be typing for awhile. I’ll probably make a full post about it one day. However, she is awful. She is unbearable. I don’t think I’ll ever like her character.)

That’s my list. However, I have two conflicting thoughts on the human characters. Perhaps if they went more in depth with them and their lives then I’d find them to be more interesting but at the same time, I don’t wanna see anymore damn humans lol. I’m here for the Cybertronians. Seriously, the kids were more in danger hanging out with the Autobots, especially now that the cons know they have close bonds with their human friends. If the kids had just went on their own separate ways, the cons probably wouldn’t even bother after the 2nd time. I can’t lie tho, I would want to chill out with the Autobots too lol

Poyo o/ your recent posts and tags about elidi reminds me of something I've been wanting to ask about, though idk what do I want to ask about specifically lol.

I know from our previous interactions and some previous tags that you don't quite see eye to eye with most ppl regarding elidi, and I feel similar, though I think I chalk that up to being with 14 for far less time than most people (esp asc/ancients fans), and while I've never hated Elidi, I only started loving him as I currently do after getting to panda.

I guess the first thing I want to ask is, how do you read his sending the WoL to the past? People understandably are upset that he had to do it, but the more upset people see this as redemption through death (which I know is a beloathed trope lately). But I never saw his last actions as redemption--i don't think he ever needed redemption in the first place. He was a sacrificial lamb, saddled with a job that was never going to be fulfilled on his own and he is passing the hope he was entrusted with to the WoL ...

YEAH I HAVE NO…I don’t see it as anything to do with redemption either? Just a like, well this is what remains sort of thing. I don’t necessarily think he means to pass us a torch or reconcile with us either, it’s just an…answer I guess? He spent the entirety of his uhhhh swan song very confused and spiraling incredibly hard and we never got an answer as to what the promise he made was or why he had gone with being zodiark’s heart or what exactly lead to this point and I don’t think it’s weird that he, after we return his memories to him, understood something and wanted the person he opposed to the end to see too.

Elidibus is my favorite ascian AS A PREFACE like there were a good few months in postshb pre 5.2 where I for some reason just was er obsessed with him because I thought he was. funny and cute really, but the fact that I loved him changed nothing about what I thought of the ascians as a whole, so sometimes I sound like I’m very harsh on/hate him. (robot voice) I see no mercy when I see him but I like him. I DOOO think some aspects of his writing are silly and contrived (and this made him more funny and amusing to me) but overall i was and still am very very very happy with his character direction cus I was playing with the idea that he was in reality a pathetic, vulnerable, desperate person under the weight of whatever the ascians were doing, defined by the praise and expectations of people long dead, & wanted to see him break down and lose it when he got cornered which is exactly what happened LMFAOOO. I also thought he did have some sort of…pure and sincere wholehearted bravery/nobility under all that, like a hint of who he was before he got hollowed out, that I wanted to see in the end too and I GOT ITTT with THE SEAT OF SACRIFICE THE BEST TRIAL IN THE GAME. YEAH i love the fact he was a sacrificial lamb and while it absolves him of little at the point of the current day imo he’s a person who in my pov never got to live out his youth and also was the tipping point in which ancient society made a choice that corrupted them irrevocably and I loved thinking of a character who had nothing but that empty guilt and meaningless duty to carry on, that he was in a way made to not have a sense of self. I recall most of the fanbase thought back then he was a sadistic and cunning mastermind, and a lot of people were really unhappy with 5.3 as a result, so the somewhat inconsistent autonomy of his decision to send us back might be them jumping back to that and being like oh so NOW that he was sealed in a crystal he suddenly wants to shake hands. and while I don’t think it’s exactly right to be like well he was a young blameless victim of all of this I think a huge thing wrt the end of shb was just like this particular fight is over and everyone gets to go home and stop worrying about their burdens and obligations and the need to say you are my enemy and who deserves what and all that. like he dead bro.

i dont think “elidibus” can be, should be, needs, wants, or will be redeemed, it’s just not relevant to him anymore. i honestly think he stopped having a future a very long time ago and was waiting for him to combust the entire time so I’m not sitting here waiting for the writers to “do more” with him or anything and honestly I think that’s unnecessary. this is just *gestures vaguely* the ruin for him. like if they spend MORE time on ancient shit post ew I probably would be annoyed

TT: We wouldn't happen to be talking about awakening in a sort of breezy, philosophical sense, would we?

TT: Is my dead cat concerned with my enlightenment? Should I prepare to shed this coil of ignorance and suffering?

GG: wow no i dont think so...

GG: hes being a bit more literal than that!

GG: what did he say?

TT: I doubt I could reproduce the statements with fidelity.

TT: It was like listening to a five year-old describe a dream.

TT: The content manages to take a back seat to the simple heartwarming spectacle of the moment.

GG: :)

GG: well what he meant was.....

GG: that you have a dream self

GG: who is supposed to wake up whenever your real self goes to sleep

GG: we all do! all four of us i mean

GG: but see your dream self still stays asleep when you go to sleep

GG: because you havent woken up yet!

TT: I think I get it.

TT: I take it your "dream self" is wide awake when you sleep?

GG: yes

TT: And would I be out of line in additionally presuming this has been the case for many years, at least as long as I've known you?

GG: no you would not be out of line!

GG: in fact im asleep now

TT: That was to be my next wild presumption.

TT: So when I wake up, can I look forward to being able to message people in my sleep too?

GG: no only i can do that!

GG: because of my robot

TT: Oh, right.

TT: I forgot about your robot.

TT: My short term recall seems to eschew the profoundly ridiculous.

GG: you guys can probably make your own i guess......

GG: but you need to wake up first for it to matter and maybe by the time that happens you might not even need them!!!

TT: I'm not sure if necessity is a concept I'd associate with such a contraption even under some of the more obscure scenarios imaginable.

TT: But good to know I guess.

TT: Here's another question, which I'm sure will look stupid once I've finished typing it.

TT: If my dream self is asleep, does that mean she's dreaming, and if she is, who's dreaming the dream, her or me?

GG: um.......

GG: ok well i dont really know how to answer the second part but yeah shes dreaming!

GG: shes most likely lying in your bed troubled and restless

GG: about things burdening her

GG: which is to say you!!!!!

GG: things about who you really are and what your purpose is

GG: but you cant start figuring those things out yet because youre not awake because youre not ready yet

GG: thats why you have such terrible dreams all the time rose!

TT: Ok. How do I wake up?

GG: im sure it would help to start piecing together the clues to nudge your subconscious

GG: or maybe face some things you havent faced yet?

GG: i dunno! its for you to find out

GG: maybe the stuff you wrote on your walls can give you a clue?

TT: What stuff?

it has been five million billion years since Feli's Ninjago Season Review, but i just finished crystalized. so.

tldr. i watched the first part Some Time Ago and dont recall how i felt outside of "yeah i liked it", the middle section of the season rlly dragged, but the last bit was really good

iirc my main complaint with the nya rescue arc was how it absolutely TRASHED skylor. she BARELY had any speaking lines and was basically just there as a Back Up Zane to keep nya from melting and i hated that. however the last third of the season rectified this by giving her an actual cool moment when she rescues kai and cole, as well as an actual character moment.

like you have the pixane and jaya reunions back to back so kai's talking with skylor again, he still likes her, he tries to ask her out, and she rejects him on grounds of "dude do you know how long it's been?" and both sides here are understandable. like yeah considering everything that happened the past seasons kai rlly didn't have time for a relationship but also skylor is RIGHT to be frustrated he just wants to go back to like. s7. after so long. and it gives the sense that things between them COULD work but they need some time to be friends again first. i like that.

generally all the canon couples were great ESPECIALLY in the last third. the ice emperor as an insane comedy bit was fantastic actually and also rlly funny how pixal just didnt even grieve this time. she did that in s12 already she's just gonna go fix him up np. HOWEVER when her backup squad gets ready to roll and zane isnt repaired yet and she has this monologue abt how zane's sacrifice for her made her more than just a machine and showed her love and she loves him SO much and she gives him a lil kiss and leaves and then he wakes up. i dont CARE if true love's kiss is nonsense for robots it was CUTE i love pixane

"If there is a life after this for beings such as you and I... I will find you there." AURGH paraphrasing the quote here but do you SEE why pixal is my favorite ninjago character ever. i love her so much. my pixal stan instincts got reactivated i did nearly cry at that scene.

third couple jaya also has cute moments. the season shows a lot how they make each other stronger and cover each other's doubts and jay's encouragement giving nya the confidence she needs to regain her abilities is just cute. you can see a lot of skybound-isms esp in how the mechanic ends up goading her saying she's not a "real" ninja (like e.g. how she doesnt get a dragon form) but she kicks his ass anyway cuz it doesnt matter whether she has powers it matters that she gives her all always <3 yayyy

ok next up talking abt MY GIRL HARUMI YEEHAW.

i like her arc this season there's a lot of conflicting elements to her. first of that she for real just DIED is extremely interesting. there's always a juxtaposition of what harumi believed and what was actually true (her thinking lloyd never looked for her when he actually spent so long sifting through rubble the others had to drag him off cuz they had to go find the oni) and i think the climax of that being her hearing from the horse's mouth that the ninja (and lloyd) were never responsible for all she blamed them for was great. like already she was torn on lloyd and i feel like her in the jungle with lloyd seeing that she CANT win his trust back ever again like this did actually like. affect her on some level. she cant trick him anymore she has to live with the consequences of her actions and see that she fucked up. good. her dynamic with the overlord obvs parallels her dynamic with garmadon in s8/9 in how she's his right hand most competent underling whatever but whereas she admired garmadon she doesnt like the overlord and helps him out of fear for her continued existence cuz he DID give her life again and he could take it away just as easily.

but in that sense garmadon initially gave her "life" back too when her parents died and she needed something to hold onto so her opposing the overlord finally means she's taking the reigns and acting without some grand figure in mind but just for herself and what she believes is right

okay next up lloyd. lloyd is SO fucking bitter and angry this season which is a contributing factor to the dark (tiring) tone of the middle third and it does grate but it's understandable. i know some people dont like his new dynamic with garmadon cuz it basically retcons sensei garm who we all love yadda yadda but the new garmadon does have to be seen as his own independant character and if you do he's pretty compelling. anyway lloyd's anger. lloyd fucking HATES garmadon in this which is Delicious. obviously consequence of the hunted trilogy and i like that. lloyd is OVER grieving what could've been and what he lost. he hates what remains and he doesn't want anything to do with garmadon.

except garmadon is showing signs of change. that even though the good part of him remains dead that what's left can still recover and learn compassion and i think why that frustrates lloyd so much is that he hates that this compassion doesn't extend to himself. that though garmadon cares about other things now garmadon still doesnt care about lloyd. lloyd wants that young innocent part of him that always adored his dad to be dead and gone because becoming what was left of his father was his greatest fear for a LONG time now (firmly established in season 11!). but that part is still there. he still loves his dad and hates him at the same time and that's confusing and upsetting him.

christofern is a lloyd analogy obviously. like back in ye old days of the early seasons, lloyd was the only thing garmadon cared about and the catalyst for garmadon's first redemption. even when lloyd withers he comes back. he tries again. ninja never quit just like that damn fern never dies yeah <3

garmadon and lloyd are BOTH kings of poor emotional awareness in crystalized since garm is struggling to even understand compassion and kindness and love at all that he cant see that the part of him that loves lloyd isnt dead either. but the main part of him is just yelling "the green ninja is an enemy." lloyd gets FED UP cuz like if my dad called the girl who tried to murder me like a daughter when ignoring me i'd hate him too. but garm being so mean to lloyd to help lloyd with oni form is garmadon trying to care about him by making him stronger. and since oni form thrives on negativity garm is giving lloyd fuel. obviously this sucks ass and is bad for their personal relationship.

the interesting switch here is in the finale when garm gets lloyd to oni form by pretending to be dead cuz it shows on both their parts an awareness that they love each other. lloyd by showing anger over his father's supposed death and garm by knowing that faking his death would actually work. it means he knows lloyd still cares abt him. then again lloyd is SO fuckin right again to insult garm over this bcuz. dude. that is still emotional manipulation committed with few regrets and lloyd has had enough of that for a lifetime. king of getting manipulated and trying so hard to stay kind despite getting fucked over so often. pythor harumi garmadon. etc etc.

right what else. i cant fucking believe the season made ronin good again GOD BLESS in undoing some of the island's many sins. thank you for showing ronin isn't as selfish as he appears to be and showing up to help the ninja again cuz it's just the right thing to do. thank youuuuu

all the character cameos were great. again skylor (with some caveats), ronin, racer seven!!!! she was so fun!!! blazey hi!!! you're insane!!!!. using vinny's convo with garm from s10 (the best scene in march of the oni, actually) to springboard all of garm's redemption arc bcuz it DID deeply affect garm even in s10 and by extension making vinny a major supporting character. hilarious. fantastic. incredible. oh my god they were roommates.

i also always love the paperboys when they appear. can you BELIEVE they started out as "the random kid who broke his arm in skybound." ah how far they've come. thank you nelson and antonia for being great.

the other camoes at the end were EPIC N COOL like i do like that cole n nya succeeded despite thinking they'd failed cuz it plays into the never give up message but i AM disappointed that none of the cameos got ANY speaking lines cuz (voice actors cost money)

like no little quips no nice to see you again. not even vania fighting her dad? no benthomaar. the whole crew from across basically all of wildbrain era + some extras (how many seasons has it been since cole's dad appeared onscreen?) gave an incredible upswing to the dreariness but it just rings hollow when they dont even get to make noise. dead silent. eerie.

uhhh what else. again i think most of from after harumi and lloyd leave the jungle to wu meeting up with the paperboys fucking DRAGGED cuz it was just one loss after another after another after another and at some point its like DUDE WE GET IT YOU'RE INVINCIBLE. CAN WE GET THE MCGUFFIN ALREADY. but once wu got that upswing and the ninja all had their own little adventures it was good again and a consistently good time for the rest of the season i was enjoying it.

i agree that it def feels like lloyd's arc this season isn't rlly resolved at all. he doesn't embrace his anger or his heritage and is still firmly stuck on denying parts of himself. bcuz lloyd kept denying WHY he's angry and just dancing around it it only got worse. the other ninja had nice cap off points. the other one with the biggest arc is nya but her development mirrors s11 kai (as so helpfully pointed out by jay himself lmao) which ends with nya knowing once again that she doesnt need to be special to be needed and harkens back to ye old conflict "if I'm not a ninja and i'm not samurai x anymore, then who am i?" you're NYA and you're cool as hell that's what. she doesn't need to be anything as long as she can just DO what she has to do.

whereas lloyd is again still just. right in the middle of it.

i do like the ending of garmadon putting the fern in the ground bcuz again lloyd metaphor it means he acknowledges that lloyd's friendships aren't a weakness ("You need roots") and also symbolically he's letting go of lloyd instead of chasing the shadow of the child lloyd used to be. good stuff.

so. season has it's good moments has it's bad moments. it needed some time to find its footing but i like the callbacks to other seasons (A SUPRISING AMOUNT OF SKYBOUND THEMATICS??? a lot of this is skybound but better) and once it did find its footing it was really good.

master of the mountain is still my favorite season though.

Replayed Captive Curse today

Man it was wonderful just to play again. Really liked the mix of puzzles and despite the monster not looking super scary the atmosphere and some of the things you need to do heightened the scare factor.

Loved how suspicion on the characters kept bouncing around and the red herring

But Nancy’s blasé attitude towards Lukas, especially when he got abducted, ticked me off. I got so sad when Lukas said please don’t leave me and then Nancy proceeded to leave him.

I also don’t know why everyone gets annoyed with Lukas’ pranks. He’s a young boy too terrified to sleep, never mind a dad who doesn’t seem to care to put him to bed, trying to entertain himself in a castle filled with boring adults. He’s bored. I dont know why Nancy acts so “grownup” with him. I always picked the fun options.

Same for Nancy’s interactions with Renata (sp?). The woman is dropping hot truths and Nancy’s like annoyingly optimistic in the most boring way possible. Its like some robot took over her.

I liked figuring out Anja lied on her resume, but like, come on Nancy. Get off your high horse. Not everyone has a rich lawyer dad that earns enough so you dont have to worry about finances. The rest of us are in cut throat worlds with little to no opportunities. Jordan explained that Anja wouldn’t have gotten the job despite being so good at it, and (ignoring her evil plan stuff) she’s a better boss than Karl, who, if i remember correctly, pretty much got handed the job. It’s not like she lied about being a doctor. This is a management position!!

Honestly it feel like at one point HER just started turning every struggling character into the culprit. They did it with SEA, ASH, - pretty sure there’s more but i cant recall right now

species specific addison hcs:

(aka "transformers fan makes addisons more complicated than they actually need to be, more at 11")

addisons are androids mass produced in factories. They’re made in batches of about 4-5 individuals. each batch of addisons has a specific soul frequency that theyre all intune with. basically they can feel each others life force. they cant tell each others emotions by this connection but its a good way to tell if someone in your batch is dead or alive

this obviously comes with the downside of being the first to know when your batchmates die. losing that connection to their batchmate won't kill an addison or impair their ability to advertise but it is obviously deeply traumatizing

"addison" is just the name of the model of robot they are. they just use it as a collective last name to make things easier

addisons main processor (brain) and soul are contained in a disk slotted into their chest. this disk can be removed and slotted into a new body anytime. as long as its another addison body. if they try to inhabit a body not specifically made for their processors itll basically fry itself out of the effort of trying to actually Use that body

most of the addisons vital mechanisms are contained in their chest and torso so you could theoretically remove their head or any of their limbs and theyd be completely fine (save for them going blind)

addisons are hardwired to be Extremely social and will go insane from loneliness if theyre isolated for too long (like left alone for over a couple months long). this often results in them latching onto the first person that gives them attention and becoming extremely clingy to that person OR being mortally terrified of any and all social interaction and falling deeper into isolation out of fear

the above reason is often why a lot of batchmates stick together for large chunks of their life. or at least until they get more relationships later in life. i mean even if you didnt get along with someone youd still keep them around if they were the only thing keeping u from going bonkers yknow?

addisons colors are painted on and can be changed really easily. kind of like dyeing your hair. most addisons have a "default" color though and dont really change it to keep up branding

addisons are adults from day one but they arent built with identities, theyre given some clothes and a serial number and then let out into cyber city to build their own identity. its mostly left up to them and any older addison/other darkner to make an identity for themselves

they have basic information (like how to talk and walk and advertise) uploaded onto their processors when they step off the conveyor belt for the first time so they dont Act like newborns but young addisons still dont know a lot about the world or how to build relationships

the most common way for an addison to die is for them to stop being profitable. once that happens their manufacturers initiate a "recall" of that particular addison. a recall is basically a killswitch and offlines them permanently since their manufacturers dont wanna waste resources on addisons that wont make them money. addisons can only go a year and a half with very little/no profits to justify recalling. an addison dropping dead in the streets of cyber city or even mid-conversation/mid-task isnt an uncommon occurrence unfortunately

their voices work like vocaloids. instead of voiceboxes they just have voicebanks of pre-recorded phrasez and sounds that they use to talk. this also means that talking to an addison for more than a couple minutes can start to sound weird since their pronunciation of words or delivery can be wonky and their voices dont have that much emotion. they also all have the same voice because their manufacturers didnt want to spend more money than necessary making multiple voices for them

on that note. addisons under extreme stress rely more on "adspeak" to get by. spamton is a prime example of this

addisons are quite stiff and don’t bend more than they need to. most can’t even pull their knees to their chest or bend over to touch their toes

addisons are tall by default since they have to stand out in their surroundings. most of them average about 6'3 to 6'9 but more successful addisons have been known to get body mods that make themselves taller to distinguish themselves from other addisons

addisons have heels built into their feet. they need specially made shoes because of this

addisons can technically purr. it’s not actual purring, but it sounds similar enough that most consider it purring

body modifications for addisons are very popular but also very expensive to buy and install. They only tend to show up on addisons that are super successful. some addisons specialize in installing and selling body mods entirely (yes addisons advertising to other addisons is infact a thing. gotta make that money somehow). common body mods include but are not limited to: voice mods, additional limbs/limb extenders (to like. make u taller yknow), different heads, glow-in-the-dark paintjobs, hair re-rooting, etcetc

addisons cant cry. they are physically incapable of crying or emoting much with their faces at all

addisons have screens for faces. yes they still have the long noses. do not question how that works i couldnt tell you either (im a very tired artist, theres your explanation)

addisons have a metal endoskeleton and a hard plastic shell around all their internal mechanisms and pistons and gears. their disk is placed in the center of their chest

addisons are prone to rusting sometimes. they take baths in wd-40 to fix this otherwise their joints will start squeaking like old door hinges

addisons have plugs on their backs and plug into the wall to recharge energy. recharging is basically synonymous with sleeping to them

addisons dont actually know what lightners do with their products. they understand what their products are of course but they have no clue why lightners need them or what they do with the products. lightners (organics in general and Especially humans) confuse and gross them out so much

some addisons are obsessed with looking organic (some to almost fetish levels of obsession) and get body mods specifically to make them look human. others get body mods to make them look More robotic bc they think humans are gross and weird. most dont care about appearances though

the earrings i draw addisons wearing are also built into them. they literally cant take the earrings off. permanent drip

Glit jamming on a simplified giant piano! Glit comes from the....It Shall Not Be Named Transformers Series that we all collectively Do Not Percieve, and is one of few Decepticon medics. I think its funny bc like, well, I think cons would need more medics than Autobots TBH but I imagine the burn out rate is high lol. I like the concept of Glit a lil minicon, being a caring medic who treats any bot or con, to no care of faction. Idk if it was just fanon or not but I like the idea of Glit having a meme-y personality. I also just like minicon/bots in general aksksksks

Day 22-G1 Jazz + Saxophone

G1 Jazz with a Saxophone! 🎷 🎷 🎷 Yea believe it or not it did not cross my mind to actually.....have Jazz in my December daily draw, despite his name being a music genre and being known for music sksksksksks. I literally did not think of the main music peeps at all actually!

Day 23-G1 Wheeljack + Zeusaphone

Wheeljack Wednesday with G1 Wheeljack weilding the power of a zeusaphone! Truly the only mech I WOULD trust with two giant sets of electrical poles that zap electric currents to make music, for sure 😌👍.

Day 24-RID2015 Thunderhoof + Jingle Bells

SO RiD 2015...anyone else like, notice how most of the Decepticons are like, either robot anthros or purposely animalesque in appearance?? Like they turn into vehicles but here, have smooth voice wolf robot furry and just a crab?? XD

Because it was SO festive XD. Top favs I can recall being Thunderhoof, Steeljaw, Groundpounder, Underbite, Scowl, and Vertebreak. I remember when I was new to the fandom, lots of people talked about this show, and not in a kind way. Mainly due to how is the sequel show to TFP, and differs heavily to say the least!

Day 25-G1 Cliffjumper + Tambourine

G1 Cliffjumper with a tambourine who just out to give good vibes! Personally I was never a fan of making Cliffjumper into a joke, comparing him to a Bumblebee knock off or whatever, I dont think they resemble another at all?? Like if we are going to talk about characters looking similar,, Seekers in most series are literal recolors of the same model, yet we know and treat them as different characters! Bumblebee and Cliffjumper have different colors and body features and different personalities so why is it so hahah funny to say Cliff is just knockoff Bumblebee?????

Day 26-G1 Tracks + Guiro

Tracks with el güiro! Im,,,love Tracks and Raoul. Raoul and his dancing crew are humans I think should make a comeback in a TF series. Raoul being a snarky guy trying to make ends meet in any way possible, and Tracks being this super posh, conceited guy who has a punchable voice, you see...the c o n t r a s t

Day 27-MTMTE Sunder + Waterphone

Sunder with a waterphone! Please, give it a listen! While you are there, look up the Apprension Engine! Look them up at midnight after a scary movie, eases all fears :^)

Day 28-Shrapnel + Rindik

G1 Shrapnel with a rindik! So Shrapnel, Kickback, and Bombshell are just cons who crashed into Bali, probably watched from a distance as humanity developed and whatever. Didnt really care too much, just chilling in the trees or their lil cave, just eating, and with deforestation and all, then eating the human's crops and being awaken by fishers and musicians. Shrapnel doesn't know w h y humans are so into banging things and making loud noises, but honestly? As long as they keep growing food, he and his crew don't really care, probably.

so i think ive already covered the part where he was brim’s most trusted friend

+ his second-in-command, honestly; and to lose k in battle was one of the toughest things brim has had to face

k’s humor is not so different from kay/o’s humor. full of sarcasm, maybe some puns, a little awkward (but less awkward because a human can definitely punctuate sarcasm much better than a robot)

k was sweet, amiable, and an all-around generally awesome guy. he’d be the type to cheer you up at the slightest hint of a bad mood and he’d listen to all your problems.

he was really good at ping-pong. aside from pool, there’s only so much you can do in a military base’s recreational room so why not be a jack of all trades amirite

despite being a big softie he can be really serious when needed

he takes his drills vERY seriously, same thing with target practice etc

it’s very scary watching him work out bc you don’t know what he’s thinking but he’s just vibing to the synthwave in his earbuds lmao dont worry bout it

he had very strong morals and was willing to devote himself to protecting his country n all that

very good candidate to turn into a war machine yknow what im saying

after he was rebooted into kay/o that part of him was enhanced specifically

his memories? mostly useless in the perspective of an anti-radiant war. but despite having them erased he still has a faint memory of them and has this strangely human desire to get them back

the most he can recall is his connection to brimstone. the rest is very blurry

More importantly thank you for allowing me to indulge one of my ultimate robot crushes.

Minimus, ever a bot who found solace in rules and logic, had long been confident his emotions were well under his control. While he was certainly not perfect, he'd indeed managed to keep himself from indulging in flights of fancy like others so often did. It had been something he'd found private pride in for a long time.

Then you'd shown up.

Of course he'd wanted to be friendly with you, the ambassador for your species and a kind individual in your own right, but things had gotten out of hand. His spark had started to warm whenever he saw your smile... His knees had grown weak when you'd laughed at his first successful joke... His face had erupted in a blush when you innocently brushed a hand against his... Primus, he was a wreck! Sensible thoughts melted into incomprehensible fog at your presence, making his duties harder and harder to fill when all he wanted was to spend time with you.

It was absurd for a grand multitude of reasons, chief of which being you weren't even the same species. There was no way he could hope to make such a relationship work, and deep down he knew that, no matter how much it hurt. He'd keep things buried for your sake. After all, a friendship with you was hardly a consolation prize, and he didn't want to pressure you with the burden of his silly feelings.

You'd expected many wonderful things upon joining the Lost Light, and had definitely received everything you were hoping for and for. Incredible adventures, fantastic discoveries, and wonderful friendships were just some of the treasures you'd cherish for life. However, one thing in particular stood out the most.

You'd not been planning on falling in love with someone, especially of an entirely different species.

Though you barely came to his knee, Minimus made you feel larger than life, and that is only the beginning. From his polite mannerisms to his quick wit and to his charming voice, the bot has you completely smitten. There's just no denying it. You can still recall the first time he lifted you in his cupped palms for easy conversation, and how gentle he'd been as you had finally been eye level with those beautiful optics... To this day it makes your heart flutter.

But what hope is there anything will come from it? You're a human, and while he's quite friendly with you, there's no reason to think he'd ever be interested. For now you have to be accepting of that, because losing his friendship is just unthinkable. You're okay with keeping things to yourself if it means you can stay his friend.

The nebula swirling in his bedroom window was the most beautiful thing either of you had ever seen, and in an instant you both came to the same decision. You had to let the other know.

"Minimus?" you said softly, keeping your gaze out the window as you sat beside him. He didn't look either as he replied, but you knew you had his full attention.

"Yes, Y/N?"

Brushing your hand against his, you watched the cluster of purple gases continue to drift by, knowing that it was larger than your own solar system several times over. That magnitude helped to put things into perspective, but your heart continued to hammer away regardless. "I have something to tell you..."

The sensation of your tiny palm pushing against his made his spark flare in his chest, the heat and energy threatening to make him dizzy as he nodded. He knew how he wanted this to go, and he knew what he wanted you to say, but he didn't know if you were really going to say it. Perhaps he was allowing his wants to completely warp his perception of the situation. But Primus, he just couldn't bear to wait anymore.

"I have something I need to disclose as well. But please, go first."

You prayed that was a sign you were reading this correctly. Taking a hold of one of his digits, you swallowed down the horde of butterflies in your stomach, and tried to speak as best you could.

"I've... I know we've been friends for a while... That is... You'd describe us as friends, right?"

Taking your tiny hand in his, he looked away from the window and directly to you, a million stars reflecting in his optics. You could never know how much he meant what he said. "Yes. You are my dearest friend, Y/N..."

"I've... For a while now, I've been thinking of us as more than friends."

He prayed you didn't see his optics dampen in the moment it took him to blink back the tears. "Oh?"

"I like you. A lot. A lot more than friends." you said, starting to tremble as the vulnerability hit you. "I know it's weird, but-"

"I adore you." he interrupted without hesitation, keeping one tiny hand of yours between both of his. With all the emotions he'd been holding back, he confessed his own thoughts on the matter, smiling as he did so. "There is nothing odd about it at all. I am quite close to you as well. Or at least, I would like to be, if you'll have me..."

"I would."

What happened next was automatic. Minimus took you into his cupped palms, and you settled into them naturally, happy in ways you couldn't explain as the mech lifted you up. Despite your tiny size, you came together without issue and pressed your lips to his. For a beautiful moment a everything the two of you had been hiding was shared. There was no longer any need for secrets...

Now that episode 10 has come out for volume 8, I really do think a good portion of the fandom really needs to understand that redemption arcs are earned but now how they think they are. A redemption arc isnt earned because the character deserves it, it’s earned as a result of their character arc!

Going with our first example, Emerald. Her character arc is making her way towards redemption because, unsurprisingly, she still cares about people. Yes, she may have helped Cinder with causing the fall of Beacon, but she immediately regretted it once she saw the terror that was coming from it.

Next up, is Cinder. Cinder could still very much end up getting a redemption arc. I know it’s hard to believe, but after this episode, I dont think Cinder actually believes what she’s doing is right. Going through the volumes, we have seen her act cruel, taking pleasure in watching Beacon burn in chaos and even going as far as killing to take and defend what she believes is her. But all of that has been a reaction to what she’s been through. Now that we know what her childhood was like between being an orphan and essentially being a child slave in Atlas, none of it excuses her actions, but it all certainly shows why she’s acted like she has. As far as she’s concerned, this was the only way she could get freedom, by obtaining power and using it to keep others from continuing after her. Now that she’s been faced with the culmination of her failures from Watts’ lecture, we might actually start seeing her going down a path that could potentially lead to redemption from her crossroads.

Ironwood more than likely will not be getting a redemption arc. Ever since vol 2, he’s been destined to be a fallen “hero”. He sees himself as the hero of this story and that through Atlas’ might, he can save everyone. He watched helplessly as Beacon fell and his robotic soldiers turn on everyone. He closed borders and recalled his fleet to defend from an attack, be it from Salem or from other kingdoms. And since then, he’s spiraled down from trauma and paranoia. He’s made himself into into the villain that he’s wanted to stop, taking every moment to undo everything the real heroes have been fighting for since he feels that every thing he’s done has been undermined the whole way.

And last but not least on the list, is Winter, who is not going to be getting a redemption either because SHE’S NOT ON A PATH TO EVEN REQUIRE A REDEMPTION! Winter isnt a villain. She’s an antagonist to our heroes, for now, due to thinking that Ironwood might be right. But after this episode, she’s more than likely going to keep her head down and be quiet while she figures out her own next course of action. She’s at a moral split, and now that James is acting much like her father had been, its going to be harder for her to decide if she’s going to join her sister or stick with Ironwood due to duty.

But the point stands as this: A redemption arc isnt given to a character because they are “worthy” of it, its all based on if their arc starts heading that direction. Cinder, for example, is starting to stare at a crossroads: she can get a redemption and eventually join the heroes once she sees that being with Salem is only going to drag her down farther, or she can stay a villain, but still leave Salem and be on her own and find freedom without the promise of power. Ironwood has actively chosen to dig his whole deeper and deeper, and at this point, redemption isnt going to do much for him. He’s burned the bridges he had with the inner circle, with RWBY, and now at this point with his threat, with Atlas, Mantle, and Penny. Even if he does end up with a redemption at the end of his arc, the status quo has to change for progress to be made and that requires him getting ousted from his position.

Both Cinder and Ironwood may have done horrible things, but only one of them is going to get a chance to be redeemed.

Well, i accidentally deleted the original graduation character list post, so here i am making another one. Oops. And as always, if anyone has important details i should add then feel free to suggest them!

Here are all the characters introduced in episodes 1-25. Named characters only!

Also i can’t hide spoilers! So, um..... I can’t put spoilers on this one. If you need the version with spoilers try this version of the post that i made on the adventure zone subreddit but youre not missing out on much.

Hieronymous Wiggenstaff (he/him): Head of the Hero/Villain school. at least 400 years old. wears shining blue armor with gold accents. also an elf. according to Tomas, he led the charge at the "battle of blood valley", brought the Kingdoms of Rickart and Dawnbreak to a peace treaty, and founded the school. a little boastful, a little prideful, [SPOILERS OMITTED], and overall a pretty good dude.

Higglemas Wiggenstaff (he/him): Head of the Sidekick/Henchperson annex, cranky old elf. has a dog named hero who shows no signs of anything strange at all, ever.

Gary (he/him): friendly room gargoyle. pseudo-hivemind.

Groundsy (he/him): the groundskeeper. a pretty nice fellow. don't go in his shed.

Hernandez (he/him): beautiful centaur professor of animal handling.

Jimson (he/him): human battlegrounds trainer for sidekicks/henchpeople, world famous featherweight champion, wields a staff. married to crushman.

Crushman (he/him): silver dragonborn with a sickle, and self-described beefy boy! heavyweight blood champion married to jimson. never lost a match for 8 years. full name Frostus Crushman.

Rolandus Fontaine (he/him): former prince, son of deposed king, kind of an asshole, maybe. wears a cape (important detail)

Zana (she/her): "terrifying" tiefling villain sorcerer, friend of rolandus. barkept the test tavern in ep2

Rhodes (she/her): hero ranger, friend of rolandus.

Buckminster Eden (he/him): hero guy. son of "The Iron Lord". their dad is stronger than rolandus's dad. his wiki page says rogue so i think hes a rogue? i never caught that and ive listened more times than i wish i did

Leon (he/him): softspoken buff, bald "fighter" (although i dont remember any clarification on how exactly he fights), sidekick of buckminster, around 28. anyone else keep forgetting he's bald? i keep forgetting it. >!gets sorta-drafted into becoming a falcon for higglemas and so far hasn't done much else.!<

Rainer Michelle (she/her): cheerful villainous necromancer with a floating chair. also, her name is pronounced "rainier" despite not being confirmed as such? travis ships her with fitzroy.

Tomas (he/him): human man with "kind eyes" and a good (psychic???) memory. guidance counselor.

Stewart LeBoeuf (he/him): brawny human man. serves food. there is no joke here, i promise

Mulligan (he/him): teaches potions. mentioned but doesn't appear yet. and we're like 25 episodes in. maybe we'll see him someday

Germaine, Victoria, Rattles (he/him,she/her,???/???): Skeleton crew. They live in the training room i guess, and as a result can never die, because "no one dies in the training room!" (note: someone now HAS to die in the training room). also their races are never explicitly stated but i guess they're probably human? in episode 3 travis brings up something about how many bones are in "the human body" and at this point i think i'm looking too deep into this so i'll just forget about it and you probably should too.

Mimi (they/them): gnome sidekick who builds cool robot prosthetics

Bartholemus (he/him): owl aarakocra accountant teacher, known for being the best accountant in the land and having a face some might describe as "smoochable". very pro capitalist :’( hope he gets better

Ramos (she/her): goliath teacher of shieldwork. *

Dip (she/her): sidekick, half-orc twin of pip

Pip (she/her): hero, half-orc twin of dip

Festo (they/them): fairy with "beautiful gossamer wings", independent study teacher of magic, loves to party

Snippers (he/him?): Let me tell you my story about Snippers the magic crab. When Travis gave the list of animals that Griffin could choose as Fitzroy's familiar's current form, he listed crab near the start, and this gave me excitement. Now i knew that crab was pretty unlikely but god i hoped that he would choose it. When the list went on- Bat, Cat, Crab, Frog, Hawk, Lizard, Owl, Poisonous Snake, Fish, Rat, Raven, Seahorse, Spider or Weasel- I nearly lost hope. I was hoping so hard that Griffin would choose the crab, but i was ready to accept a non-crab familiar. It was just buried in that list. It wasn't the most useful animal and it was an obscure pick. And as Travis informed him that it didn't have to keep the form for the whole campaign, Griffin said those five words i wanted to hear so, so badly. "Well then it's a crab." Folks, I do not often react physically when something happens in media. But in that moment, i remember very clearly, i fist-pumped and yelled, "YES!!!!!!"

so anyway, Fitzroy has a crab.

Jackle (he/him): kenku teacher of sneakery. creepy dude. apparently knows something about argo? also his name is not spelled "jackal" for some reason. Also in later episodes theyve started calling him "The Jackle" for some reason??? *

# -EPISODE 3- (1 character)

Dakota (they/them): tavern instructor, clad in black/red leather. no race stated? probably human. *

# -EPISODE 4- (6 characters)

Gerry & Tom (she/her, he/him): shopkeepers at barns and nobles who seem to have very bad names. also constantly competing for customers? these guys got dropped faster than the heathcliff quests, which is honestly just sad.

Barb (she/her): the bartender. runs Springs Eternal in Last Hope. has a sweet seeing-eye hawk familiar.

Jaryd Reginald (he/him): owner of Reginald Ore. Wants the workers to be held responsible for the damage caused by the xorn. (fun fact: originally i wrote down "Jerrod" because i wanted it to sound like a fantasy name, then realized it was probably "Jared" because theyre named after listeners, but i was pleased to find it confirmed that it's actually "Jaryd")

Candice (she/her): A Miner. thought those werent allowed in bars but, i guess not. Wants the mine owner to be held responsible for the xorn's damage.

Jade Johnson Esq. (she/her): lawyer.

Xorn: a big hungry gem eating guy from the plane of earth Low-Down Deep with 3 arms and 3 legs. why did travis just say "multi-armed" instead of specifying it was 3? who knows! Anyway it leaves

Osric (he/him): the man, the myth, the bursar. finally shows up after being mentioned in episodes 2 and 4. he's an elf.

breeze through the willows (she/her): Pegasus attacked by demons, lost her parents. introduced in ep1 but gets a name here so fuck it. also in ep>!16!< we find out shes a "white arabian pegasus" and i dont think thats a spoiler bc we shouldve really known it from the beginning

Sabor (he/him): Librarian/research teacher. also a TORTLE. Really good at recalling stuff, i guess. kinda reminds me of Tomas's memory thing but i'm sure that's just a coincidence... *

Crabtree (she/her): Artificing teacher. Long gray hair with a long grey beard. no mentioned race, one might guess dwarf but that would be an assumption i suppose. also unbroken chain member, presumably the dwarf argo didn't recognize in episode 7.

Deanna (she/her): A bigoted centaur with an obnoxious voice. Malwin the Strong's second in command.

Malwin the Strong (she/her): Leader of the centaurs of the scarlet woods. Wants to appease the spirit of the scarlet woods so that thecentaurs of the scarlet woods will be protected in the scarlet woods. Had a relationship with Arturas in the past but their clashes are currently known to get pretty heated.

Arturas (he/him): Leader of the Centaurs of the Valley, i guess. Had a relationship with Malwin. Centaur. Did i mention centaur? i cant think of anything else about this character

Calhain (he/him): Human wizard, Malwin's magical advisor. Kind of an amateur wizard in a job high above his skill level. Graduated Wigginstaff's as a hero.

Spirit of the Scarlet Woods: A spirit who requires sacrifice in order to keep Malwin's herd safe and prosperous. Not keen on dubiously canonical combos, i guess. i wouldnt be either. also apparently the sacrifice depends on personal value, not how much value it has to the spirit.

Sylvia Nite (she/her): Fitzroy's magic theory teacher at knight night school, who he turned into a catfish by accident. oops!

Chaos (they/them, maybe more): Presumably a deity, gave Fitz his powers and wants him to give in to his chaotic desires. (physical desc: 9 foot tall, iridescent 'mother of pearl' skin, pure white eyes, fine burgundy cloak with gold/onyx lining. their physical form beyond that seems to change every time they show up.)

Grey, the Demon Prince (he/him): wants to cause a war, originally wanted to kill hiero and higgs, forces the heroes to build an army to fight his. As "Fauxronimous", he has skin the *color and pattern of* (but not necessarily made of) slate splashed with liquid, pointed ears, sharp teeth, shining eyes, horns of unspecified shape. 12 fucking feet tall. wonder if the slate-looking skin is related to garys. plot twist detected? Also i recently looked at the episode descriptions and found out his name is spelled "Gray", but really does it truly matter?

Shabree Keene (she/her): Argo's mom, killed on the Mariah, possibly by the Commodore. Long auburn hair, green eyes. Mentioned earlier but described here, so fuck it.

The Commodore (he/him): Reknowned hero of the seas, military regalia, great naval hero, presumably responsible for the death of Shabree Keene. No mentioned race. Seriously, they never mention this guy's race. The only thing described about him is how he's dressed and his evil smile. Does that mean he's human? Elf? Dwarf??? Who knows! maybe it just doesnt matter.

Tibia (she/her?) : Shorter skeleton with gold teeth, and long canines. i think both of the skeletons are mute actually.

The Lich King aka Gordy (he/him): Rainer's dad. Commands armies of the undead. lives in The Crypt. described as a hooded, skull-faced man with intricate black lines on his face, but changes to a shaved-head man with dark skin and vetiligo. Abandoned as a babby, raised by traveling parents, had necromancy powers, took Rainier in. Not actually very scary at all i don't know why he did the creepy laugh. Kind of a warm fatherly figure actually. hm. also people are speculating Gordy might be short for Gordita and his parents are maybe supposed to be lup and barry but THAT S JUST A THEORY.

our firbolg's father (he/him): A firbolg who lived by the code and was there when our firbolg was banished. Came to respect our firbolg's interest in a new way of life, in his final moments.

TOTAL: 72 NPCS! (well, including 2 extra PCs, i guess.)

Average: 2.88 NPCs per episode.

i was gonna not include the bone-PCs and have it be 69 but our firbolg's dad was just too important to not respect with a spot on the list.

“Hey Schnee, you know that Marigold girl right?”

Being reminded about her father’s ties after finding out Weiss was gone, was not something Winter wanted to hear. She takes a deep breath and folds her hands behind her back.

Marrow’s eyes grow a little wide. His tail shrings between his legs and he fidgets around.

"Has this Marigold commited any crimes sever enough to concern us Specialist?"

“W-well… It could be a sever problem,” Marrow mumbled. Very unspecialist like. Winter scowls, glaring hard at him. He takes a deep breath and finally straightens out. Clover is being far to gentle with the boy. “May Marigold is leading Hill’s campaign for the Council Seat and their methods are-”

“Politics?” Winter scowls. The name doesn’t ring any bells. She was just a Marigold after all. “You’re bothering me about politics?”

“They’re methods are dangerous!”

“Then deal with it.” Winter said. She turns on her heels and marches back down to her office.

She has more important things to deal with.

They’ll need to send people to check the long range scanners. Need more ammunition for the turrets thinning the horde. More robots for the damn hole in the wall. At this point if they threw all the robot corpses and covered it with cement it would work. It would be better than nothing.

Another thing Winter disagrees with.

Winter sighs, collapsing into her chair. Her monitors catch the motion and flicker back to life. She finds Weiss’s pictures all over the monitor. Articles upon articles of the missing Heiress. Weiss’s fame shadowing over Klein’s dissapperane…

Her father wouldn’t be foolish enough to do anything that drastic. But she’s been gone for years. Maybe things got worse-

Winter cuts that thought.

She tought Weiss to defend herself. She was an acomplished fighter, at the very least. If Weiss did manage to run, she couldn’t have left the Kingdom. She would be in Mantle… if she was smart.

But her team RWBY has been having questionable effects on her little sister.

Winter straightens her back and checks her schedule. With no important meetings getting int he way, she beginnings her research, looking for any evidence for a small white haired girl roaming Mantle. One that can fight and defend herself.

What’s she get is an adorable Faunus- a regular Faunus girl. Short fluffy curls and cute sheep ears- and sheep ears. Winter sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose. Did she grab coffee before sitting down? When was the last time she ate?

Winter adjusts the filters… or was about to when blue hair and yellow eyes caught her attention.

You know that Marigold girl? She’s helping Hill run for Counsil…

Marrow’s words filter through her mind. Hill… That name was familiar. Another Atlas graduate? Definately not military. Meaning it was a Mantle Rat was running for election. Against her father.

If Winter wasn’t part of the military she would have definately enjoyed helping someone upstage that bastard. She researches that May Marigold next.

The only Marigold she can recall was a boy with trying to offer her flowers. Winter blushes at the memory, some sympathy sparking in her chest. It was only after that incident did Klein take a more active roll in her life.

He tried his hardest to teach her to be gentle, to be kind… There was only so much a bulter could. Yet he did more than enough. More than needed and always kept sneaking off treats and sweets to Winter and her siblings.

And he’s gone.

No where to been in Atlas. She makes Mantle her priority and calls for a transport.

During the ride she continues her research on this Marigold on her Scroll. Hill was easy to find. A top student’s santity is questionable for leaving Atlas. Winter can summerrizes all the lessons she’d taught her little sister. A smart person picks their battles. Stupid ones start losing fights.

Hopefully team RWBY wasn’t that bad of an influence on Weiss.

The third lesson was to never let your guard down.

Winter barely catches the Grimm lunging at her transport. She slices open the door first and jumps out. But another Manticore has her in it’s claws. It’s weak. More of an annoyance. Winter stabs her saber deep into its eye and summons-

The ground comes at her fast. Buildings already flying past her. Her Glyphs barely have time to form-

“Ow!” A blur of green and browns darts across the roof. The body tumbling and sprawling on her is far to soft to be Penny’s. It was definately still hard and- a women’s. Winter pulls her hands from her chest and gets to her feet. “Sorry, that was a lot smoother in my head.”

“You’re lucky I wasn’t a civilian,” Winter huffs.

The handsome women scowls and probs herself up, "Normal people say ‘Thanks you’ but… your an Atlesian…" The words drip off with some hint of remorse.

Winter scowls but there was something… familiar about the women. The photos mostly focused on Hill but there was always a green themed women at her side. So Winter bites her tongue, literally, and offers a hand.

The women grins and takes it- Winter could feel the power in her. The Aura, thrumming hot was almost startling. “Dont’ worry, we taught May some manners we can teach you some too. Like looking people in the eyes.” She says.

Winter stiffens and quickly moves off those chest and arms. She’s surprised that she needs to look up and the change of angle makes her breath catch. It wasn’t the winking and grin. “How about we start with names, princess?”

“Specialist Winter Schnee.”

“Joanna Greenleaf. If we don’t hurry up Penny will-” The women flies above head, giving the pair a wave before lasering down the Grimm in the streets. Within seconds the alarm stops and she’s meeting the huntresses at on the Street. “Thought we talked about this Penn? Leave some for me. All this campaigning is driving me crazy…” Joanna playfully grumbles.

So the women was part of Hill’s entourage.

“Oh, I’m sorry, Ms. Greenleaf!” Penny giggles behind a hand. “I think Fiona tought me another reponse for you. I believe the term was ‘Get good?’”

Joanna throws her head back and laughs. It hits a cord in Winter’s chest and rings in her ears. Winter pulls her eyes off the coat that threatens to rip apart at her muscles.

“Jeez Jo! Keep it down or you’ll bring in more Grimm!” Another women yells. The Marigold postures against the rail. Grin far to smug for a Marigold. She jumps down and Winter finders herself running because this was a Marigold an artistrocrate, a civilian.

“You could have gotten hurt!”

“Don’t worry, Winter, May Marigold is an acompished huntress!” Penny said. Winter scoffs but let Penny take the women in arms. She watches the surprised blush crawl up those ears. Two more people catch Winter’s eyes. Winter’s stuck staring. The beauty marks on Hill’s face didn’t show up that well in the photos. A crim really-

“Where was that attitutde when we were kids?” May mumbles, following her gaze. Then a grin splits across her face. “Oh. Oooh!” She stands next to Joanna who’s grin is almost just as smug. "Am I your type now?"

Winter nearly chokes, cheeks flushing hot. Ears burning in an unfamiliar way. “You’re…” The name dies on her lips but that grin was far too smug. “You’re Henry’s cousin! That Marigold!”

“Hey asshole! She’s more than a name!” The cute Faunus yells. She rushes over, linking her arms with May and glaring lightly at Winter. "Ugh. A Specialist."

Winter blinks. Unfamiliar with how she should be processing. Training sessionis emphasis that Specialist should disengage from hostile civilians. But the Faunus was another Atlas graduate.

“Play nice, lambchop,” Hill says. Winter’s feels the flush crawl further. Deeper into her cheeks. Her voice match those beutiful photos which should have been near impossible. Hill catches the stare. It’s a little thin. Dipolomatic and testing, “Nice to see the military finally doing their job.”

“Actually, it’s Winter’s break,” Penny interrupted. She tilted her head curiously at her. “Assigned break. Due to her habit of overworking herself. You’re temprature is quiet high, Winter.” The four women grinned. Fiona’s was particulously vicious for being so small and cute. “Are you alright? Did you finally get sick?”

“I- I’m fine.” Winter stuttered. May’s shit eating grin she had when they were children grew. Winter took a deep breath. “I came to ask Hill about non-military matters.”

“If it’s a date, that’s a No.” Fiona says arm possessively linked with Robyn’s-

“It’s not date!”

ITTHIGSS AU

Cartoon encounter.

Part 3 of this (part 2) Swear warning!

*sigh* "it just doesn't make any sense!"

I've been trying to figure out who that guy is for a while now, ever since I got home from the interview today. It just seemed like something out of a horror film, I don't understand. And they sounded so much like...no. I sat down for a moment to look at the pictures I took, and tried to recall what happened in the room with the tv (and the closet).

"Ok, so blood was coming out of the Tv," I spoke "I heard the killer walking towards me, with their arms out to grab me. They're voice sounded static-like, they were humming the Captoon's theme song. And then one of the police officers went in the room, the humming stopped, I looked in the closet but they were gone...they..."

I sighed.

"They sounded so much like Benjamin, like, identical, the only difference is the static. But, he's been dead for almost a year now, it just doesn't make any sense..."

"Beb-beeep, beb-beeeeep!!! Movement detected!!!"

What?! Theres someone trying to get in the house? I immediately check the security cameras but find no one there. The only evidence is the broken steel doors and a note, I zoomed in on it to get a closer look at what it said, I turned pale.

"Bonjournie~ Mr.Melvin :)"

That's what the note said, and the paper had the same static texture as the hammer piece I had.

The same person who killed those criminals is here, and I'm next.

"MOTHER FUCKER!!!" I screamed, "Why? Why me?! Why is this guy targeting me?! Of course, its because I know too much, I should have just kept quiet, I should have just said they committed suicide, that would have made more sense than a cannibalistic cartoon-loving prick by slaughtering them with nooses and a fucking rubber hammer!!! But noooo! I have to open my big mouth and now this fucker's gonna kill me!!! GOD DAMN IT!!!!"

I tried my best to calm down, it's not easy to think if I'm going into my dinosaur brain. Okay, everything is going to be fine, he must have a weakness, everybody has one. I have lots of inventions that could be good in the situation I'm in, I just gotta think of a plan. Think Melvin think, if I were a cannibal who loves captoon, what would be my weakness?

Hmm... I looked around my room, I spotted one a bottle of paint thinner, huh. I saw this in a game once, thinner can dissolve paint, which is what cartoon characters are made out of. I thought for a moment.

He likes the Captoon cartoon, and George and Harold made that cartoon. So if I'm gonna get this guy, (I cant believe I'm about to say this) I gotta think like George and harold.

Aww hell with it!

I grabbed the thinner bottle and loaded it in a spray gun, its ridiculous, but it's my best shot. And who knows, maybe some of the robot guards took care of him already.

*THUD!!*

"OW! @%#$!!!!"

What was that?! I mean, it was obviously a cry out in pain coming from downstairs (the living room to be exact), but AFTER it sounded like a beeping sound butchered by radio static. But that didn't matter now, the fact is that this guy is in my house, I have a plan (sort of), and I'm ready for whatever is down there.

I grabbed my flashlight and slowly made my way downstairs, he could be anywhere. I turned the lights in the hallway on, no one was there though. I looked in the kitchen, as expected, the fridge was open and most of the food in there was gone, and all of the leftover guac had vanished (THAT really caused a shiver to go down my spine). When I got close to the living room, I heard a noise, or more specifically, music.

I went in the living room to find the TV playing the Captoon theme song, huh. Guess I was right about him liking that, I grabbed the remote and turned the TV off.

Almost paralyzed with fear, I pressed the off button again, still playing, pressed it again, still going. No matter how many times I pressed it, the music kept playing. It only took me one second to realize the music was coming from behind me...along with that same feeling I had back at the abandoned school...

Oh no...

Before I could turn around, I felt something wrap around me, I looked down, I saw an arm.

Yeah, that's right, an arm was wrapping around my torso. How did I know it was an arm, at the end of it there was a gloved hand, gloved...it sorta gave me rubberhose cartoon vibes. Come to think of it, the arm was fully white like a rubberhose, I would have thought about it more I wasn't in peril.

"AAA-MMF!!!" I tried to scream, but the hand covered my mouth in an instant. The arm was fully wrapped around me now, only leaving my head uncovered.

I kicked and squirmed around trying to escape, no dice. The arm slowly turned me around, I soon realized that the arm was waaayyy longer than I previously thought. It stretched all the way to the far side of the hallway where there was nothing but darkness, nothing except...two...eyes...staring at me.

These weren't normal dot eyes, hohooohh nooo! These had the pupils and the sclera!!! And they were huge!! Who was this guy? No, scratch that. WHAT was this guy?! Forgive me for being Captain Obvious here, but there no fucking way this...thing is human!!

He was walking towards me, I squeezed my eyes shut, shit, I'm fucked. I'm going to be food, I could already see the headlines. "Class S Melvin sneedly (aka the smartest and sexiest man alive) becomes human Foie Gras to rubberhose monster". This is my end!!!

Then he (or it, I don't even know anymore) spoke.

"Shhhh, calm down."

What? Calm down?! I opened my eyes, he was still walking towards me, his eyes still the only things I could see. They looked...guilty.

"I know your scared right now." He continued

"Mmff mfm mff!!" I muffled sarcastically, it roughly translated to "NO SHIT SHERLOCK!!!", and he knew it. As he became more and more visible, I froze.

The clothes...

The body figure...

The toupee...

He was a spitting image of Benjamin, except the eyes I mentioned earlier (which now revealed that he had pie-slice pupils). And there was no color, only shades of white (his skin), grey, and black...I was filled with shock...which then shifted to seething anger.

What right does this asshole have to impersonate MY boss?! NONE!! WHAT THE FUCK!!! I kicked at him furiously while delivering muffled screeching. Who the hell does he think he is?!

"Melvin please calm down-OW!"

I bit his gloved hand, he's NOT gonna tell me what to do.

"DONT "MELVIN" ME!!" I screamed "YOU CANT JUST WALTZ IN HERE THINKING I'LL LISTEN TO YOU, ESPECIALLY AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CRIMINALS YOU VILE POMPOUS CANNIBALISTIC PRICK!!! WHO ARE YOU?! WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE?! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO EVEN BE?! WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE BENJAMIN?! AND WHATS YOU LAST MEAL REQUEST CUZ OOOOOHHH DEAR SWEET DAV PILKEY AM I GONNA REPORT YOUR ASS!!!"

He gave gave me a look that was a combination of surprise, pity, scared, and impressed.

"Gosh," I heard him mutter under his static breath "that last bit kinda rhymed..".

How is this happening, when did I become prisoner of a cartoon monstrosity. Why, how. This doesn't-...then it clicked.

"This is a dream."

"Wha?"

It's the only reasonable explanation.

"This isnt real, of course. What was I thinking."

I breathe the sigh of relief, phew.

"Why else would you look like Benjamin, it's obvious my subconscious is missing him, and the reason why your a cartoon is because I've been watching captoon too much. And why are you after me? Because it's just my subconscious being guilty of Benjamin's death, like I felt responsible, like I was supposed to be there with him when it happened. It all makes sense!!"

The behemoth rolled his eyes, but that didn't matter. What matters is that this isnt real, it's just a horrible nightmare. I dont know when I fell asleep (probably when I passed out stress-eating all those croissants at the interview), but either way I'm glad that it will be over---

"OW!!!"

I felt something sharp jab me in the arm, I looked to see his gloved hand, only a little different. The pointer finger was longer and the tip was pointy, sorta like and overgrown fingernail. Either way, it hurt, and he was still there, this wasn't a dream, it was real life.

"Real enough for ya?" All I could do was nod as I watched the finger retract and return to its proper form and shape, then I heard him sigh.

"Look, they're going to search the abandoned school so I need a place to stay-" I cut him off. "Give me ONE good reason why I shouldn't call the authorities."

"Cuz they would never believe you."

I opened my mouth to protest, but then i thought for a moment. He was right, they wouldn't. There was a saying in the book Our Lord Dav, where he quoted "people can be too smart for their own good" which ment if someone was too smart, they would become insane. The police might think just that if I tell them theres a living cartoon in my house.

"Please," I looked back up at him. Seeing his sad, pleading face. "I just need to hide hear for a bit, just a lil bit. I know I'm the last guy you wanna trust right now, especially after last night. But...*sigh*... I REALLY need your help...just let me stay."

I was speechless, I was starting to doubt that this was the same person that killed those criminals. His expression seemed so...bonafide. Pupils dilated to a sorrow filled manner, lips trembling, it felt like the equivalent of looking at a sad puppy. But...how do I know I should trust him.

"Your not gonna kill me?"

"Of course not!!!" He protested, by now the arm he had wrapped around me was retracted back to him, but I really wasn't paying attention. "I'm not a monster!!!"

Not a monster? My eyes narrowed.

He then rubbed the back of his head, chuckling nervously, "I guess I am if you define a monster as a creature that defies the laws of physics and nature, heh. But I'm talking about one that's heartless, ruthless, and selfish."

His eyes then darted away and his face suddenly became sour. His tone changed completely.

"Like the @*#%$, Theodore..."

Theres only one person I know who could sound and act like that when the subject was Ted murdsly...

I threw myself at him in an embrace, eyes filled with tears...

"You are Benjamin..."

I was both in shock and joy. I couldn't believe my boss was alive...I started sobbing.

"I miss you so much..."

I felt him hug me back.

"Heh, miss ya too Mel. It's been very lonely, even with him around, it's nice to see an old friend again..."

I started crying into his shoulder, I was so relieved. For one, I now know that I'm not gonna be dinner. Two, the others will be thrilled to hear that their favorite grumpy boss is back (especially her. If you catch my drift). But I thought for a moment...

"What do you mean by "even with him around"?"

He then lead me to a chair, "sit down, and let me tell you how I'm alive."

So he told me...and dear dav is it a doozy.

So after Benjamin died, George and harold were starting the Captoon cartoons, they had the help of dressy. But in the making of the first tape reel of season 1, dressy sprinkled some dust on it, making Captoon sentient. Then the boys took it to Benjamin's gravestone, and placed it there. Then lightning struck the tape and it started to melt, along with the world in it.

In major pain, Captoon got out of the tape and into Benjamin's corpse, sort of merging with it. Another lightning struck the same spot again. And since dead people come back to life when they get zapped with electricity in cartoons, thats exactly what happened to Benjamin.

He wakes up, they meet, he tells him how he died (turns out it wasn't an accident), and Captoon gets an idea. Since he needs a physical body to stay in (cuz otherwise he would melt and die), and Benjamin needs Captoon's cartoon physiques to stay alive, they become one. Becoming Krupptoon.

It finally made sense now.

"So now you know." Krupptoon said, then grabbed a nearby glass and drunk from it. Then he noticed my mind-blown expression.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, it's just...alot to take in. Does that mean your dead body is still in you?"

"Uh-huh, wanna see?"

Intrigued, I nodded, after what I saw last night, this wont really effect me. Then his head began to shift, the white static-like skin seemed to dissolve. Revealing a pale, bloody, and very very dead head.

The left side (his left side) of the head had the skull smashed open showing that parts of the brain were missing, and pretty much almost all of the left side (again, his left) of the head looked like it was demolished from impact.

His eye (on his right) looked lifeless, yet it had a distinct green glow, don't know why. Oh yeah, and it smelled, it smelled repulsive.

I felt the urge to puke which he immediately took notice of and grabbed a nearby bucket, then he gave it to me.

5 minutes and 43 seconds of vomiting later... I looked at him for a closer inspection.

"Hmm, it seems only the left side is affected."

He then reached into his pocket, pulled out a magnifying glass and handed it to me. I then used it.

"Your frontal lobe is severely injured, that would explain why you only move in rubberhose, your Broca's Area seems fine. Same with the Sensory area and Parietal lobe. Your Temporal lobe looks pretty damaged..."

I went quiet...

"Whats wrong?" He said that with his decayed mouth barely moving.

It took me a while to try to get the words out.

"T-thats the lobe that contains memories. Benjamin...do you remember anything?"

His face fell, "Oh,". He then put his hand on his chin, "Well, I remember you, and George and harold. Ted (though I wish I didn't), my identity, how I died...". He then plopped down on the ground, his face returning to its cartoony appearance. Trying to recall, then his eyes lit up. "I...remember Edith..."

And boy what happened next was quite a site. His hand dropped to the side, a shade of gray crept up his face, hearts started floating around him, and I swear I could hear a romantic saxophone playing. I covered my mouth to stop myself from laughing.

"What?" He turned his attention to me, I simply pointed upwards at the hearts floating around. His eyes went wide and he made a noise that can only be defined as a startled dog and immediately started shooing them away with his arms, his face now flashing dark grey and white in embarrassment.

"I-ITS NOT LIKE THAT!!" He yelped in a panicked tone, but I knew otherwise.

"Oh suuuuure~!" I said playfully, "Its not like you visit her in the lunchroom every day,or that you give her extra credit, or that you try to make her food everyday!"

With every example I said, he got grayer and grayer. So I kept going.

"Or that you hide a bunch of gifts around her office, or that you're always happy when she's around 24/7, or that you secretly write about how much you want to be with her forever in your journal!"

"HOW DID YOU GET MY JOURNAL?!?!" He started shrieking and becoming a charcoal grey, sweating, and flustered mess. And it was hilarious! And it lasted a good 5 minutes.

"Joking aside, you REALLY don't remember anything else, like your job?"

"I have a job?" He cocked his head and gave me a confused look.

"Nevermind." I decided it was nothing to worry about now, so I quickly dismissed that subject. Then I heard him sigh again.

"The main reason I came here is for your help, your help to kill crime."

I was confused, "why would you need my help, you have the ability to do it on your own."

He gave me a classic Captoon smile, "Because it's like I said in the cartoons" he stood up and did the pose, "it's more fun to bring justice with friends!". He then pulled me up off the chair and put his gloved hands on my shoulders.

"You, me, George and harold, and the others can stop evil in its tracks! Sure, I could do it alone. But what the heck is living if you don't do it with your chums! Buds! Home slices! Homies! Pals! Bros! ETC!!!"

Honestly, I was very moved. I usually dont get touched, but...I haven't felt like I had friends, at all (I always felt so alone). And the fact that my boss (who's also Captoon himself) considers me as a good friend is enough to make me emotional.

"So Melvin Sneedly!!! Are you gonna join this crazy but exciting ride of adventure and mystery with me?!"

"Y-YES!!!" My voice cracked a bit, but that didn't matter now.

"ALRIGHTY!!! THEN WE'LL START TOMORROW!!! BECAUSE IM TIRED!!"

Man, he said that Captoon only moved their body, but THAT moment had to disagree. I sas honestly thrilled to start working with a superhero...but then the moment took a different direction when he gave me a smug look.

"Now what did you mean by you watching that Captoon cartoon too much?"

"Now wait just a minute-"

He then laughed and patted me on the back "ight, see ya tomorrow."

I headed towards upstairs to my room "goodnight."

I didn't know what I was getting into, but whatever it was, for once I'm ready for anything!!!

hey so this is gonna be a long-ish one. ive decided its been far too long since i did a session, and we did so many i can often forget what happened. i started in july and im pretty sure its been more than half a year now since this whole blog happened. and in that time, we’ve gone through 88 sessions and i want to know if i remember the relevant plot points and what we got up to in the last few sessions. a refresh/reminder if you would.

so i hereby commence my own little recap of act 5 because yeah no, its too much to do a recap of everything and i have andrew for that after every few acts. but i wanna refresh my mind on act 5 for now. so here we go.

1. alternia.. fucked up place. but its a place the trolls live on so what are we gonna do about it? overthrow the government? seems about right, lets do that with the next troll that gets introduced and if its not kanaya idk what andrew is doing by not having introduced the best troll yet. why the long wait? it was the second introduced? i honestly expected it to go in order when i first read act 5, because first we had karkat talk to jade which was the first new piece dialogue in the comic besides the main kids, but then we had kanaya with rose, which was followed by tavros, then terezi (iirc). so id assume we were following that order but nope karkat got fully introduced, then this random fucking juggalo called gamzee made its way into the comic. imagine my surprise.

2. theres been terminology throughout act 5, that i do not fucking know and will not remember and probably never will. like tf is a perigee again? i made a doc somewhere ill probably find it.

3. karkat’s introduction... short but very sweet. and by sweet i mean we got to know the depths of the angry edge lord. and by depths i mean karkat got angry at gamzee for typing in a way that he didnt like so he yapped like a chihuahua. nah, but seriously, i do like karkat tho, hes growing on me but only bc hes a bitch baby and his whole personality makes me want to mock him so thats the reason im not that annoyed and think hes funny, and the most harmless troll. even more so than tavros. and thats saying something. 7.5/10 bc im generous.

4. then gamzee... the high juggalo troll who has the worst typing quirk imo, i cannot for the life of me read it. but hes chill, i actually really like gamzee. hes funny and the least problematic as of right now. 8.5/10.

5. terezi’s introduction next i think. she likes playing as a lawyer with her stuffed dragons, ie by roleplay, shes blind, can see through licking, and she likes eating chalk, maybe its even nutritious. shes good. 9/10.

6. uhh in the process of these intros, there are teams being made? karkat joins gamzee and terezi in, i THINK, the red team?? bc terezi likes red?? could be wrong, i dont remember the teams except that its red/blue to represent sollux’s duality in those colors. terezi then tries recruiting AC but AC is like lol sorry i have to ask this friend of mine who has authority over me for some goddamn reason and terezi goes yuck tf i hate that guy................... yeah thats all we have on the teams. pretty sure sollux had smth to do with karkat about the making of the leaders, and they did the “i hate me” and the “no i hate me more than u hate u” or whatever the fuck that was. they got embarrassed afterwards and deleted their messages. im pretty sure they have no messages because everything ends up being mutually deleted so their logs are actually empty. ngl, kinda enjoyed their convos, made me appreciate their characters. i hope we get more because its good content. i also dont know what order this whole thing is in, who contacted who first? couldnt tell you. ill remember later on. and since im basing this off from memory alone, gotta deal with what i remember. uhhhh so yeah. we havent met all characters yet so the teams have not been officially decided but we got the bases, which is that.

7. god i found it, and the only thing im looking at right now is the terminology list i made and what the fuck?? what the fuck?? you miss a few weeks and suddenly the word nubslurping comes up and you forget what the fuck youre reading.

8. im PRETTY SURE aradia is seen after that whole team fiasco?? or its sollux... maybe. wait. its sollux, right. i just knew someone gets introduced mid way through is all. actually, someone gets introduced after every 20 pages. i have no idea. but ik aradia and sollux go hand in hand.

9. oh shit. OH SHIT! RIGHT! I REMEMBER! so this occurs in the latest session i did, and not the beginning of act 5, but AG and aradia team up, right?? and sollux fucking gets manipulated by them and ??? idk??? they make him find the game, reprogram it and then make him believe its going to end the world (which in hindsight is true, but anyways) so he refuses to play it which was AG’s plan all along so she steps up and becomes leader in his place. but aradia says sollux will still play the game no matter what, but she never went through with the plan for AG but it was apart of a prophecy? that sollux wouldnt be the leader at all? that he’d still play? but it had to go according to plan so it could succeed??? we just dont know why yet. anyways, point being, she still cares for sollux since she did it for him rather than for AG. and thats what i recall. god tf i forgot about that whole drama until writing down “sollux and aradia go hand in hand” which gave me violent flashbacks to the memory.

10. oh and id give aradia 9/10 and sollux 7/10. i do like sollux but if i put him higher than karkat, id get crucified. so im keeping them around the same.

11. man i really like sollux and aradia tho, i may have put him at 7, but i really like their dynamic and i really hope they make up and aradia explains herself about AG. because from one side it looks shitty. and while sollux is rude and never makes up his mind, he apologized to aradia after going off, and that was the only time ive seen him be sincere, so im pretty sure he cares for her to some extent. and i think its somewhat mutual? considering the whole “did it for him” thing. man, i see potential because i actually like both their characters. theyre well written. may not have the best personalities, but i appreciate well written characters and homestuck has the best ones ive seen in a while.

12. oh shit, hell yeah, the more i write, the more im connecting the dots and remembering. however, the more i write, the more i want to just make an analogy post but thats not for now. jesus christ its not all about analogies, mack, this is a recap. but.. how does andrew do it? to not go off track??? hard. telling ya.

13. anyways, didnt we break the fourth wall at some point and have the demon gods or whatever the fuck speak to us in third person for the first time in the comic, after having only gone into second person narrative, right after we were introduced to sollux and his “virus”? the uh, the phrase “the demon was already here” was said, or something along those lines. first line in homestuck to give me the creeps ngl and i appreciate it bc it gives me motivation to know what the fuck its about. its cool bc you have no idea where its going and it sure doesnt have anything to do with the current plot, since the trolls’ session/game doesnt have fucking demons so im curious as to what the fuck that was about. and if i really have to make a theory, i feel it has something to do with aradia’s voices in her head which also connect to the gods rose heard when she started disregarding rules and told dave to look at derse without listening to music bc it was as if he was purposely blocking away their calls. like holy shit, that gave me the shivers. while i do want to know more about wtf happens after act 4, trolls are taking priority right now. just like we did with the intermission. no discussing the kids unless necessary. treat this as its own separate comic. and THEN we can connect.

14. ANYWAYS, tavros’ intro???? that comes afterwards?? with the fiduspawn that made me gag a little on the inside? yep. remember that. fuck that lol. -1/10 but tavros himself is MAYBE a 6/10? i wish we explored his character more in his intro bc right now he just looks like a character made only to be a victim rather than have any depth and i feel thats robbing someone of their full potential. give me more personality andrew, rather than a quivering boy who falls prey to bitches. im expecting more throughout the comic honestly and i hope he gets growth so hes not looked as a “victim” but rather his own character. he is still sweet, and i like him because i want to protect him, but id rather have more info, you know what i mean?

15. oh hell. kanaya had a chainsaw at some point. that made me happy. and didnt she cut off tavros’ legs?? and he got robot ones? and some creepy dude was looking and we called him saggy tits bc hes sagittarius? right? neat. that did happen. pretty sure saggy tits is ACs friend that tells her what to do. the more u know. OH and they all have colored blood similar to their text colors lol. that i remember... so tavros has brown, terezi has blueish green, um. karkat has grey the loser. and apparently it forms a rainbow which is nice. rainbow is good.

16. i dont remember anything else actually

17. wait no i do. AG appeared. shes a petty bully. idk what to say about her. we didnt get that much, except that she hates tavros but is okay with aradia. she also looks like a bottle opener. actually, i think she teamed with aradia to gain leadership rather than to “be friends”. and while that is similar to how karkat did it, meaning the gain, the motivation and how they earned it is entirely different. kinda seeing a trend tho. the leaders of the red/blue teams are both characters who wanted the role, but never had it to begin with. only to win their way into the position. but rather than ask non-stop like karkat did, AG manipulated others so she could be successful. not too sure if she also used aradia for that, or is actually motivated to become friends since they were “past enemies” and she needed a rebound. pretty sure its somewhat both. while AG did mostly use aradia to speak with sollux, what she doesnt know is that aradia is a bad bitch who never even thought about AG and only followed through with the plan bc she had a plan of her own. i guess we’ll look into that later. i lowkey want to know their history.

18. OH AC!!! she appeared for a second as well. love her. shes amazing. 9.5/10. and you may ask yourself, why am i saying “i love this character” but none of them are 10/10?? weellllll its because, and i cant stress this enough, 10/10 belongs to kanaya, i dont make the rules. im waiting for her introduction, shes my favorite and its obvious. sorry.

19. oh huh seems i forgot about the term “lusus”. which.. is.. their parents but not really, its these fucking weird ass creatures that the trolls fought in a cave or something as a child. i dont fucking know. terezi hatched hers and it died? gamzee’s also died but his goat sea dad was never really there to begin with so while it is sad, its more sad that gamzee never saw him? um.. karkat killed his own by exploding his computer bc sollux said dont run the virus and karkat said u cant tell me what to do and did it anyways. so thats on him. but apparently theyre supposed to die, to become prototyped during the game, right? yeah. i remember now.

20. thats.. about it? idk anything else, nothing is coming back to me apart from the shit above. huh.... im surprised how quickly things do come back to you the moment you rant about the plot tho.... handy trick.

cool. neat. fun. this took me too long. but im glad i remember a little bit.
