ALRIGHT. SMILING CRITTERS HEADCANONS TIME :3 ( + doodle. not ship art !!! )

Something something smiling critters headcanons stuff bc the ugly stupid creatures live in my brain

( Doodle is a little old, i just wanted to add a picture to this post teehee giggles )

I like to think about how Smiling Critters would be if it was an actual kids cartoon, debated animating a little thing myself but i have no time for it now grr

Anyway, Crafty Corn and Bubba Bubbaphant would be a good duo. I feel that Bubba really likes and appreciates art and related, so he likes seeing Craftycorn's drawings and ocasionally helps her with stuff like perspective and giving her tips to draw different stuff

And Craftycorn enjoys having someone that appreciates her work and helps her aswell, also think they both prefer calm activities that don't involve much physical effort. They're besties that like to talk while they read and draw together because i say so idc

Kickinchicken and Hoppy Hopscotch are the typical duo of "bet i'm better than you in this" "nuh uh"

They tease and like to mock eachother but genuinely really care for each other aswell. I feel like Kickinchicken really likes when Craftycorn draws him, he feels special for it, silly little guy

Catnap is mute / non-verbal (not deaf) , and he uses sign language to communicate.

He sleeps most of the day but still likes to participate in games and activities with his friends during daytime, then he's really active at night and likes to play around by himself (ALSO I THINK IT WOULD BE CUTE IF HE HAS LIKE. A MOUSE FRIEND HE PLAYS WITH AT NIGHT TOO)

And Bobby Bearhug likes to bake for all her friends. She usually gifts Picky Piggy sweets and food she cooks, and Picky Piggy gifts her silly crafts she makes herself in return.

I have more headcanons but sharing those for now. May draw some of these, i love them so much grgrr

I started writing this atleast 5 years ago & it’s been sitting in my drafts since then so maybe I should actually try to finish this seeing as I just finished the series?

Favourite pony/character, out of the Mane 6 & in general and favourite villain!: I can’t really pick a favourite. I probably would’ve said both Spike & Rarity before (even though Spike isn’t a pony lol), Fluttershy used to be one of my favourites, Pinkie Pie is probably the nicest character, I also like Starlight Glimmer...*cough*kindamywaifu*cough*. As for villain...hmm maybe Discord or Tirek? Least favourite character(s): I’m not sure I even have a character that I hate. I used to not be keen on the CMC because they made the show feel more childish & they got so many episodes (and Applebloom was overrated for some reason)- but they did grow on me- they’re good kids. Which pony do you think you’re most like?: I guess Fluttershy because I’m shy How about favourite pet that the Mane 6 own?: Angel Bunny and Tank the tortoise Favourite episodes: It’s hard to pick a favourite honestly. I used to like Season 1 the best but there is so much more to enjoy. I also really liked the Spike x Rarityness in Secret of my Excess. A few I can think of: some from season 1, May the Best Pet Win, Magic Duel, The Cart Before the Ponies, The Perfect Pear, & stuff Idk. Least favourite episodes: I used to not look forward to the CMC episodes because there were so many of them & I wasn’t really interested in them- they’ve grown on me though. I’m also more of a fan of the slice of life episodes over the 2 parter stuff or “arc” stuff but some of the “arcs” & 2 parters have been enjoyable aswell (I liked Starlight Glimmer’s story). Some episodes I don’t like that much: She’s All Yak, Flutter Brutter, Maybe 28 Pranks Later because they were a bit hypocritical, Father Knows Beast & Going to Seed for what I believe to be errors... Shippings you like: Spike x Rarity has always been my OTP! It was even one of the things that got me in to it in the first place aswell as the characters. I also like: Big Mac x Sugar Belle, Fluttershy x Discord, Applejack x Rarity, Starlight Glimmer x Sunburst, Bright Mac x Pear Butter/Buttercup, Cranky Doodle x Matilda, Maud Pie x Mudbriar, Lyra x Bon Bon, Cadence x Shining Armour, Mayor Sunny Skies x Petunia, Applejack x Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle x Flash Centry, Twilight Sparkle x Timber Spruce, Pinkie Pie x Cheese Sandwich. I also liked Big Mac x Marble Pie, Big Mac x Fluttershy, I remember putting Rainbow Dash x Fluttershy & Twilight Sparkle x Pinkie Pie together too, Big Mac x Cheerilee was ok, Starlight Glimmer x Trixie is ok, Applejack x Rainbow Dash is ok, and Spike x Sweetie Belle makes more sense than Spike & Applebloom... Shippings you don’t like: Never liked Spike x Applebloom- it made 0 sense & I think people only put them together because they were Sparity haters. I don’t like Spike x Gabby if it gets in the way of Spike x Rarity. I also don’t like Yona x Sandbar, Applebloom x Tender Taps, Ember x Throax. Don’t really like Spike x Ember or Rainbow Dash x Zephyr Breeze either. Didn’t really get Pinkie Pie x Discord or Spike x Applejack? Favourite song(s): I could come up with a list of songs that I like but here a few favourites: Babs Seed, Flawless, Open Up Your Eyes, What my Cutie Mark is Telling Me, You’re in My Head Like a Catchy Song, Spike’s song for Rarity, Smile. Also: Art of the Dress, Blank Flanks Forever, Find the Magic from Equestria Girls, Cutie Mark Crusaders theme song (the actual music is good even if the singing is bad lol), Raise this Barn, In Our Town, Best Friends until the end of time...

“The Ceramics & The Arts”

Pairing: Jungkook X Reader

Genre: Teacher!au; Modern!au; Some Fluff

Summary: A normal day of Y/N as the Ceramics Teacher and Jungkook as the Art Teacher... or is it?

You opened the door to your classroom and was not the slightest bit surprised that no one else was inside. You tend to arrive early to school to have some me free time. You weren’t a student, oh no, you had already dealt with going to high school a while ago. You happened to be the Ceramics Teacher.

And so, here you are arriving early to school. You sat down at your desk and pulled out your sketchbook and pencil.

You heard the door open and assumed it was just one of the early students, so you carried on drawing. It wasn’t until you realized when the person had sat down next to you that it wasn’t a student.

“Is the Miss L/N drawing?”

You looked up and saw that it was the Art Teacher next door, whom was your “Art Buddy”, named Jungkook. He had pulled one of the desk chairs over to sit on next to you and proceeded to lean over to see your artwork.

“In fact, I’m just doodling some new pottery” you explained while glancing up at the clock. It was almost time for home room to start so you closed your sketchbook and shoved it back into your bag.

“You should totally draw me something.”

“No.”

“Come on, please~.”

“Nope. And that’s final, also you should go to your classroom, class is about to begin.”

As on cue, students started walking into the room. You pulled out your attendance sheet and a pen.

“I will get you to draw me something one of these days Y/N” Jungkook remarked as you shooed him out the room.

The day went on as per usual. Some students actually caring and doing their work. While others chatted with their friends. Then those students who didn’t do anything at all.

The bell rang for lunch and the students rushed out the room. Only a few were left to help clean up, but you told them to go ahead and leave.

After you had completed cleaning, you decided to pull out your sketchbook and turn to the page that had your pottery design on. You made your way to the pottery wheel and set your sketchbook to the side. You grabbed a clump of clay and plopped it onto the wheel. You sat down and put your foot on the pedal and pressed down to start spinning the wheel.

“Dang, I was just about to ask you if you wanted to grab lunch at the teachers lounge.”

You jumped a bit, making a small dent in the clay. You took your foot off the pedal and turned around. Jungkook was leaning against the doorframe with a pout.

“Well, you’re out of luck. I’m making something. You can join me if you want” you announced, turning back around and started the wheel again. He walked over and sat behind you.

“What the- I didn’t mean like this.”

“But you said that I can join you.”

You were gonna just ignore him, but you knew you couldn’t. You released your foot, making the spinning stop once again, and turned around to face him.

“You’re such a child sometimes” you complained. He only gave a smirk, but you just had an idea, which made his smirk disappear.

“What?”

“Heh...” you chuckled and lifted you hands forward, which were covered in clay, towards him. He got the idea and jumped up from the seat. You started to chase him with your clay covered hands.

It wasn’t until he turned around and grabbed your arms. You tried to wiggle them out, but he had a strong grip on them. Your bottom lip stuck out in a pout, upset that your plan didn’t work.

“Caught ya... clay handed?”

“Whatever. Let me go, lunch is almost over so the students might be coming back.”

You felt him hesitate to let you go, but there was a clicking sound. Both of your heads turned towards the sound and realized that a student had walked in.

“Miss L/N? Mr. Jeon?” they asked as Jungkook quickly released your arms.

“Ahem. I’ll be leaving now” he coughed and left the room with a wink sent in your direction. Your arms were still in the same position as when he held them up and your face was lightly flushed.

“Miss L/N?”

You finally snapped back into reality and your arms swung back down your sides. You looked over to your student and cleared your throat.

“Yes S/N?”

“Is everything okay? Did something happen?”

“No. Nothing happened. You know what? I’ll give you extra credit if you just forget what you just saw” you flustered out and went over to the sink to clean up, as well as clean up the pottery wheel. They nodded their head and went to their seat. Little did you actually know, S/N had recorded everything and sent it to their friends. Now, it wasn’t a bad thing, everyone in the school already shipped the Art Teacher and Ceramics Teacher together. Jungkook actually knew about this due to him overhearing a few students conversations, but Y/N didn’t have a single clue.

As you returned to your desk, the door opened again and more students walked in. You decided to put in the door stopper as some students walked in with smiles, which was usual, but something felt off. Everyone was staring and smiling Y/N.

“What is it class?” Y/N announced puzzled and one student pointed out the door. You looked and saw Jungkook staring from across the hall at his door. You rolled your eyes at him.

“Wanna grab food after school ends? You owe me for trying to get clay on me.”

“What? No I don’t!”

“Please~ We’ll stop at your favorite place.”

“Fine...”

He shot another wink and closed his classroom door. You did that same aswell, minus the wink part. You walked over to your desk and looked to your class. They were staring at you again with smiles.

“Oh hush you guys, nothing’s going on between us. Now, take out your supplies...”

[Updates / To-Do List]

Hey! Whats up peeps!

I wanted to take some of your time to sit down and give some insight about my current thoughts regarding what’s to come.

For starters, I wanted to tell I’ve been itching to do a new overhaul for a while. A lot has happened since the last one - roleplay wise and art wise.

It isn’t as drastic as a theme change, but I will be sure to add some features I miss since the last. Some features I can think of from the top of my head is:

Relationships page - This pertaining mainly the people who roleplay with me and those characters who have already some relationship estabilished with Yasuo.

In-Depth Headcanons page - This here featuring important moments of Yasuo’s life told previously. I have them tagged but they aren’t apart from minor headcanons. Unlike minor ones, major headcanons revolve around indepth and detailed information, such as tales about his childhood, his relationship with Yone, how did he end up with the scar upon the bridge of his nose, etc.

Worldbuilding page - Some of you may know I began a series of worldbuilding posts relating Ionia - but instead of photo reblogs with IRL references, I am hand painting those and fleshing it out through Yasuo’s eyes. He is a wanderer and I figured it would be great to describe the land through the man himself.

Rules and Muse info overhaul - Not so much the information but the way its written. I believe some information could be more objective and some better written. I have constantly touched up these two pages as I saw necessity, but I need to sit down and update everything eventually.

Specially on muse information, I want things to change a bit for better clarity. The issue here is many things changed after Taliyah arrived in the League. My portrayal was adapted a lot after the period and the way I see how Yasuo behaved before that is much more of what I would consider pre Taliyah - his mourning and still in pain self. His earlier years while adapting to his new cruel lifestyle and his fall from his path. I have already talked to every active blog who has interacted with me back then about this.

Everything else falls to excess of information that needs to be filtered and presented better.

Donation Page - Devoting so much time to this blog is always enjoyable, but its also a lot of work. Those following me for a while might have noticed I have set up a commissions page. I now draw for a living, and I don’t plan on asking for handouts. Still, if you like what you see in this blog and feel like leaving this windy hobo a tip, it would be very much appreciated!

[Possible] Thread Tracker - Some of my old followers remember I used to track some threads to make communication easier. I pretend giving the idea thought and bring this feature back since right now I am much more chill with replies. I have to manually update though because some of my followers reblog my threads (no issue on that regard by the way).

URL change - This has been mentioned before, but sometime ago I was gifted the ask-yasuo URL. I believe for a roleplay blog this is more fitting. Some people encouraged me to do so when I announced it but was insecure about it. My current one will go to another blog. Probably a personal.

Old Headcanon Overhaul/Rewriting/Retcon

Concerning older headcanons (this again applies to big stories only), some of them are very outdated and need rewriting and a good art overhaul. Most of them, since I began the blog still stand. I will definitely take my time to rewrite and apply fresh artwork.

For the old followers, this concerns the Jayce ship. I have pondered about it and I decided it is no longer canon for this blog’s timeline. That is so new Jayce blogs may approach if they wish and interact without being placed in a sepparate universe. The Jayce I used to interact with is long since gone and I see no point to keep him within my main roleplay circle. There were mentions of him on a thread with Rinidinger, but this is as far as it goes.

Standalone Headcanons/Stories

Or as I like to call them ‘unrequested headcanons’ - aka, headcanons I think about without having anyone ask me about them. There are still areas I would like to explore with Yasuo and its difficult to wait for the ‘correct question’. I will be looking after stories to enrich his background and tell more about him, but this will come later in time as I already have quite a lot on my plate as is.

Concerning Roleplay / What I seek for future threads

Steady roleplay partners - in short. People whose muses can connect with mine in a less superficial way. This does not stand for friendship/romance always - actually, Yasuo is better at making enemies than friends. This dynamic is something I have been missing dearly, I am not going to lie.

I understand the community has changed and its no longer the same I used to interact with years ago. Because of my recent outburst of ship art, I also believe a lot of you think I am only seeking ‘Dat Graves ™ ’ to ship with and that is not the case. I want to talk and interact with more people, but I have to do that carefully because each thread has a lot of effort placed into it. It’s not just about the pretty pictures - it’s about the portrayal and the writing aswell.

I certainly pretend to keep a decent share of memes, sillyness and other goods to keep a balance and prevent this blog from becoming stagnantly serious. I want to have a good laugh and to shitpost but Yasuo is a serious character. He has his moments but clearly they are not as frequent as desirable.

To wrap it up with style

I’m very pleased to announce soon I will be reaching a new follower count milestone and I will be hosting another giveaway event. This time I pretend to mix in what I did in the previous (doodles - but this time in character. Yes. Yasuo is probably going to doodle what you want, if RNG is kind to you) plus two or three free art pieces. Those are sepparate events and will take place at different dates that are yet to be scheduled.

Anyway, I might be missing something or two and I will be sure to reblog an edited version whenever they come to mind. For now, thats it. I appreciate the attention and apologies for the huge wall of text. If you have anything to ask/add/request please leave a comment!
