AM's need for viscerality and human experience in the audio drama perplexes me due to the flawed experience a god-like machine could yearn for, while I, among fellow mysanthrophists, flesh and bone yearn to rid myself of my humanity and the heaviness of a human form. It's undoubtedly hard to be human, and submitting to a machine, abandoning ache and strain, age and blood, disease and anguish, it seems dream like, to not be held back by the fragility of being just a man. And yet - this omnipresent, immortal, everpowerful machine, cold, calculated, metal and pure logic, no routine, no confinement, yearns for this? THIS? Like yearing to be holy, a christians need is to become a saint, as machines are an atheists angels, have I found the same issue in a different form? Do we really all yearn to be more, than this? Than flesh and bone and veins and marrow? is this really all there is? Does a machine see more in a man, the way a man sees more in a machine?

More thoughts about Kuvira and the twins bewing jock besties. I feel like the twins would be the only ones to see Kuvira as their sibling. Huan and Baatar are too old and Opal just refuses. I can see the twins seeing Kuvira as really, really cool and trying to imitate her bending.

I could see Kuvira not having been able to play and be a kid. Like I headcanon that her parents were owners of a farmer and making her work on it a lot.

But Wing and Wei decide they're gonna play with their new awkward big sis. And Kuvira is just super, super hapless. The first time the twins try to roughhouse her she panics and ragdolls onto the floor. Which makes the twins very worried.

Wei, 3 years old: *gasp* we killed her!

Wing, also 3: do you think mommy's gonna be mad?

Kuvira, 8 years old, who just lay down and closed her eyes for a sec: Wtf

And eventually they become attached at the hip. They have a lot of inside jokes and work out together. They all join Su's dance troupe and cheer one another on ugh.. also Wing and Wei giving Baatar Jr the shovel talk when he expresses interest in Kuvira.

Now the angst. When Kuvira leaves Zaofu, the twins feel like they need to step up and fill her role as their mothers right hands. They push themselves really hard and develop a lot of resentment towards Kuvira for what she jad done to their family.

Unsubstantiated: after the twins and Suyin were captured, Kuvira and Baatar Jr tried to get the twins to join the Earth Empire. But of course the twins refuse and choice words are exchanged on both sides.

I feel like post comics, the twins are very antsy around Kuvira. They like feel like they need to protect their family and she's still a threat. So she kinda has to try and coax them back ouf of their shells.

Which is sorta like what they did for her when she first came to Zaofu so we're coming full circle.

I have other ideas but they include my taking liberties with what little of the twins' personalities we have so if anyone wants that lemme know.

So I've been thinking recently and got hit with a thought about the Fablesmp finale, specifically Sherbert's pov. What if it goes something like this?

Icarus is about to be killed, Quixis can't let them die but they're too weak to cause a reset so their last-ditch effort is to try and pull Icarus into the Worldport. BUT because Quixis is so weak (and presumably will be much weaker by the end of the season) it's even more difficult to use their powers. So they actually have to try to pull Icarus themselves. (...Don't ask me how that'd work.) Like-

Icarus feels something grab the back of their coat and yank them backward. They fall as the world around them blurs and shifts into the Worldport, they're falling away from the yellow portal and stumble to the ground. Someone pulls them up and away from the gateway as the path beneath their feet begins to crumble into the void below. They are left staring at their only way home with no way of getting back to it. Icarus turns around in a fit of panic and rage only to be face to face with a being they've never seen before. Then a realization hits them. Quixis.
