bbc Merlin did grave injustice to Arthur's fighting prowess really! Any "aira gaira" (Nobody, but it sounds better in Hindi lmao) would come and be able to hold his own against him, like babe you're kidding me? I get Merlin was powerful, doesn't mean Arthur needed his magic to defeat fucking bandits, like seriously downplaying someone's skills to this level? Yeah alright

The Tardis, the only fixed thing in the Doctor's life, the only thing that never dies, that sticks with him no matter what, the only reminder that he has of his past, of his people; is also a reminder of his loneliness, of the fact that he will never be able to use it as intended because a Tardis needs six people to pilot her as it should be, and the Doctor will never have that

cw: hostage situation, but it's barely mentioned
The villain put a hand to their chest and gasped dramatically. "How could you say this to your beloved nemesis?"
Hero glanced at the two hostages in the corner. They let out a long sigh. "What. You seem to have no trouble putting one hand up. Its not that hard to raise them both."
"You seriously think that I will surrender?" The villain said, voice flat. Then, their eyes opened wide, and that exaggerated, dramatic expression overtook their face again. "Oh, how dumb you are, thinking I'll surrender to you, dear hero! As if I would do anything you say!"
The hostages in the corner shivered out of fear, tears ran down the woman's face as she held onto the lady probably in her 40s.
To say that the hero was tired would be an understatement. This new villain had been causing a lot of trouble recently. Nothing harmful or anything, just some small (attempted) robberies and other petty crimes.
But what bothered Hero the most was that the villain didn't seem very organized. They didn't plan out things, just rushed into it when they felt like causing trouble, but then managing to get away in the last moment.
How was Hero supposed to organize their routine when this villain just came and went as they pleased? As someone who liked to plan out their days and weeks, Hero couldn't understand how the criminal could just do everything so spontaneously.
"Are you listening to me??," the villain yelled, hands at their hips. "Hoe dare you not listen to my speech! Didn't your mother teach you manners??"
"Aren't you breaking you character right now?," the hero deadpanned, a small smile appearing on their lips as the villain froze. Their shocked expression disappear the second after, villain reading their chin and crossing their arms infront of them.
"Rude. So utterly rude." They glanced around. "You have ruined my day, congratulations. I will be taking my leave now."
Hero let them. The hostages were always the priority.
They didn't understand the villain at all. The way they acted was strange to them. Unorganized, dramatic,... Nervous?
The hero frowned at the thought, taking the older lad gently by the arm while laying their arm around the younger woman's shoulders, pulling her closer to steady her.
Why did they even think about villain being nervous? But now that they replayed some encounters with the criminal in there head, there had always been quick glances around, fidgeting and waving around with their hands. They never seemed to be able to hold still.
Hero would definitely have to think about this more later. It could help them in some way...

Just because this is a modern GB blog doesn't mean I need to reblog EVERYTHING related to the new films. I'm not touching that cursed video McKenna took with the actors in the tiktok filters. It unsettles me.
