spoiler ahead! Some ramblings Coz i just finished the game

1st of all, I felt so bad for professor fig. I was suspicious of him. I thought his a double agent. I'm so sorry prof! Also, The profs backing us up was thrilling.

2nd I love how the 3 side stories are opposing 3 diff sides of the enemies. Natty with rookwood and harlow?, poppy with saving the beasts from the poachers, and sebastian with ranrok.

3rd I love the Named Npc's but some of them I only get to interact with one or two times. Can't even voluntarily talk to them outside quest. I had to stand around them for 5 mins just to hear some dialogue.

4th Sebastian and Ominis. Yeah yeah, the hearthrobs of the series. As much as I like the both of them. I personally grew to like ominis more. Sebs was the kind guy at first but was hiding a dark side. Went anakin mode that guy. I was scared of ominis at first, seems rude, but he became the soft guy in the end. He considered the player his friend by the end. Like this guy melts all walls when the player talks reason. While when we talk to seb it always steers his way. I get that he is saving his family. I'm happy to help but most of the time, i had a feeling that he would hurt or toss my character aside if we we're of no help.

I didn't turn him in btw because he is all the family anne has left. And he was lost and had no guidance except for ominis and the character who are storywise the same age as him.

5th -- I felt that solomon knows more of anne's curse than what was told. Man is an ex auror that dealt with dark magic. Maybe the curse couldve killed the one who healed or reversed it. Either that or he is trying to kill his niece and nephew. This dude was one of the ones i fought. I was like " bruh! Why are u shooting spells at us? Get out of the way!" I tried not hitting him for minutes thinking a cutscene would happen, a route we didn't knew. But nah. Had to defeat this dude. Short temper runs in the fam i guess.

Also, i wanted to get to know anne more. Coz i as the player met her twice. Sebastian keeps telling me "for anne". As much as I pity her situation, I wanted to give more meaning on helping her. They say she's the most troublemaker out of 3 of them. But, all i saw is a level headed person who became weak. Idk. Its complicated.

So that's all for now. Don't know if i'll make a 2nd run because real life is tiring. But i'll try. It was fun while it lasted. I'm just gonna be reading posts now.

On a side note, My hufflepuff character became a known dark magic user within the enemy ranks. I sometimes hear a dialogue like that.

nearly every case of “streamer is being harassed for playing hogwarts legacy” is easily provable as a lie

i checked the vods for the first girlfriend reviews hl streammyself, and the build up to the girlfriend “crying’ (she was at worst a little choked up” is the two of them complaining about how hard it is to know if they are doing the right thing when some people in chat are saying its bad to play the game and some people are saying its fine, and the boyfriend saying the “alt left” is as bad as the alt right. IN their next stream they both took issue with people framing it as trans people harassing, so i will give them some credit for that.

Silvervale’s narrative that it was just automod holding messages has already been disproven by clips of someone typing “trans rights are human rights” into chat and it being removed by a mod and them being timed out, which automod doesnt do. The claims that she has been doxxed over this have no reason to be believed, especially when she is already lying, and Froot, another vshojo vtuber , made a tweet saying she’ll donate to Mermaids for every like the tweet gets and got harassment from people over this from people “defending” silvervale, including people bringing up details about her life they can only know from doxxing her. I saw these tweets without looking for them, and i wont mention what was said, but if Silvervale was also doxxed, i’d expect to run into similar tweets. Its possible people who dont care about hl but dont like Silvervale used the controversy as an oppurtunity, which is the most likely explanation, but i dont know if it has even actually happened. She already lied about automod in the same stream with her fake tears over the image of her model’s tits, so im not offering the benefit of the doubt here.

So when i start hearing “Pikamee retired due to harassment over hogwarts legacy” i dont believe a single part after the word retired. She is retiring. I dont know why, nor do i know if it has to do with the pushback over hl, nor if that pushback was actually harassment. And i have no reason to assume any of that to be true.

Review:

It’s in third POV which is a huge win for me. The plot is original, and keeps you on your toes. MC doesn’t feel so one dimensional like in other fics. The characters are aged up to their 7th year. It is set after the Scriptorium quest but before the 1st Keeper trial. Also great and realistic interactions with other HL characters. Action is written well and romance is well paced! There is some suspense and horror in this one. This is the best Hogwarts Legacy fic that I have found thus far. I’ve even read tons of Sebastian focused fics too.

It's so funny seeing people on Twitter, tiktok even here trying to say the trans community is sending everyone death threats for playing howarts legacy when that's not even the case. Majority of the comments are just saying they're disappointed and no longer will be supporting said twitch streamer. Trans people are the ones that are getting sent death threats because they're talking about the game and saying these streamers should know better. It's so funny seeing these twitch streamers scream "Trans Rights are human rights" knowing the people they're going to attract and then play this game. I honestly have no sympathy for them and no one is telling them that they should stop playing, they're just gonna stop watching them.

I feel like at this point a lot of them are crying and freaking out because it's not about this game, it's about them losing followers and not getting donations. That's why I personally feel like GirlfriendReviews started crying. If you look at the chat, not a single person was sending her death threats saying her and her boyfriend are awful people. They were just saying they weren't gonna watch them anymore so she got all upset, left to go cry then stream for another 6 hours. Play the game all you want, it doesn't matter but don't go around spreading some lie trying to make trans people look bad. Her and her boyfriend just made up this fake trans person in their head like they were arguing with them in chat, when no one was sending them hate comments period so what the fuck are you crying for?

I wasn't gonna talk about this game or Jk Rowling period, but seeing all these comments is just so laughable and I honestly can't not believe this is what people are arguing about on the internet in 2023. I honestly don't understand why people watch twitch streamers anyway I find them to be very boring but people find entertainment in watching people play video games I guess?

This is why people should always not be disappointed when they find out their favorite person is not who they expected? The best thing for the trans community is to honestly just ignore it and worry about other things at this point. People are going to play the game regardless and there's nothing you can do about it so just leave it alone. Go watch Castlevania or something....
