'Princess Mononoke' Collection by Levi's and Studio Ghibli

Levi's, the iconic denim brand, has teamed up with the legendary Studio Ghibli to bring you a collection that captures the essence of Princess Mononoke's captivating world. Immerse yourself in the spirit of nature, adventure, and friendship, all while staying effortlessly stylish! 💫 When Studio Ghibli released its epic historical fantasy film, Princess Mononoke, in 1997, the production company hooked Japanese audiences and subsequently broke box office records. And today, the Hayao Miyazaki-directed pic is regarded as a beloved masterpiece for its breakthroughs in animation. Celebrating the movie’s longstanding impact, Levi’s has partnered with Studio Ghibli to create a fully-fledged collection inspired by the anime’s enchanting themes.  The line invests in the film’s cinematic exploration of the dualities between humanity and nature. Inspired by the movie’s hand-painted backdrops depicting luscious forests, rivers and animals, the range integrates Miyazaki’s environmental storytelling directly into its designs.

Among the standouts, the San & Wolf Trucker Jacket, the Ashitaka 501 ‘93 Jeans and the San & Moro 501 Shorts flaunt Princess Mononoke‘s forest and sun settings on atmospheric denim. Meanwhile, darker indigo designs, including the Nightwalker Denim Kimono Jacket and the Kodama Denim Overall, tap into the moodiness of the pic’s varying settings. Down the line, graphic T-shirts and hoodies pay homage to the characters themselves, using imagery and language from the film to articulate their inspirations. “Over 25 years after its release, Princess Mononoke continues to resonate deeply with audiences across the globe as an animated icon,” said Karyn Hillman, chief product officer at Levi Strauss & Co. “It was a joy to collaborate with Studio Ghibli and create such a beautiful collection that pays tribute to this compelling, artistic masterpiece.” Levi’s and Studio Ghibli’s Princess Mononoke collection will launch globally online and in select Levi’s stores on August 10. "La princesa Mononoke". No me odien, pero no me gustó. Una vez más, me dejé llevar por las expectativas de quienes decían que es increíble y demás, pero al final no alcanzó esas expectativas. Sé que es amada por San y el mensaje que tiene y todo eso... Pero en mi opinión no es para tanto. Es más, hasta creo que me cayó mejor Ashitaka. Siento que la idea era genial, pero hay algo que no me dejó del todo satisfecha. Puedo ver por qué la gente la ama, pero no es para mí. El único personaje que sí me cayó bien Moro la loba quien luchaba por su amado bosque, la única que para mí su odio por los humanos era más realista, pero hasta ahí llegó mi empatía. Creo que gran parte de mi rechazo viene por algunas escenas que se me hicieron insoportables de ver (le tengo un asco atroz a los gusanos y los bichos en general), pero sacando incluso eso, no me terminó de cerrar. . This one og my favorite Japanese rap artist that I know little or nothing about. His name is S.L.A.C.K. (5LACK) and the song is called In the Day. I actually found him through LOOTA the other Japanese rapper on IT G MA with KOHH. There is a lot of his music on #YouTube as well as #Soundcloud but I haven't found anything for him personally, yet. I particularly love this song because it mixes #OST music into a beat from Mononoke Hime (#PrincessMononoke).
