How Many?*
Summary: An extra for One for the Money*
The one where Mr. Styles has had a rough day, and fucking you hard and slow is his only remedy.
(Inspired by this softdom!harry prompt!!)
Word Count: 1.8k
*Contains Mature and Explicit content! Please only consume what you feel comfortable with!💞You are so much more important!*
Tumblr media
“Shit, honey. I know. I know, Peach. Stay still for me, yeah?”
You nod quickly, lip between your teeth as your nails scratch down Harry’s back.
You’re still getting used to his size. Always needing an extra minute or two to catch your breath, which he dutifully gives you.
Normally, he eggs you on. Mocks your inability to take him. How your tight, little hole is just too tiny for him to fit through. How he’d ruin you before he even got halfway in.
But today is different. Today, he kisses your cheeks, your nose, your lips. Helping the seconds go by as he whispers, “Doing so good, my love. Feel so fucking good for me.”
You try to relax your mind, your body, your muscles. Wanting to feel him as deep as he can go more than anything in the world. Almost wishing he’d just drive himself to the hilt and wreck you if that’s what it takes.
He nuzzles into your neck, breathing you in. His heart is racing against your own and you feel your stomach flip.
It’s rare he lets you see the bad days. It’s rare he has them at all. But instead of hiding them from you—instead of hiding from you—he’d come home and taken you into his arms.
He held you, and kissed you, and touched you. Gently brushed at your clit before mindlessly stroking through your folds. It was clear what he needed.
You.
And he has you. For now. For always. His body and yours connecting as one until his hips are pressing down into you. His cock now sheathed completely inside your cunt as you exhale a deep, strained, and pleasured breath.
You grab onto his ass and help roll his hips. Whimpering as the sensation in your stomach begins to build again. Soft and slow.
“S’a good girl,” he murmurs, and it’s so very heavy. Yet filled with relief. As if you’re the antidote he needed. As if you’re his remedy.
“Sir,” you whisper, nipping at his earlobe as he grabs onto your leg and hooks it around his hip. You follow suit, tossing your other one around him as well until your ankles can cross near his spine. Aiding in his slow but pointed thrusts.
“I know,” he says again, swallowing a groan as he rocks into you. “Fucking missed this. Missed this pretty pussy today.”
You make another noise as he suddenly nudges his nose against yours. Calling your attention to him.
“Missed you,” he adds gently before kissing you until there’s no air in your lungs.
And you can’t deny the leap in your heart from the thought. The idea that he thinks about you even when you’re not around.
His fingers dance between your bodies until they find your clit. Again, he presses and rubs in cruel but beautiful ways. Making stars scatter behind your eyelids as you gasp and arch from the bed.
“How many times should I make you cum today, hm?” he asks, glancing down at your overused and sensitive nerves. “Already came for me once. Or was it twice?”
Your head buries into the mattress as you struggle against the overstimulation, feeling ruined beyond repair.
“Peach,” he warns, pinching you tight and forcing a gasp to rip from your throat. “I asked you a question.”
“…twice,” you just barely manage to pant, skin incredibly warm. “Made me cum twice, Sir.”
“And how many times should I make you cum now?” he asks again, kissing the side of your nose sweetly. “Three? Four?”
The feeling between your thighs is expanding. Exploding. Making your nails curl into his skin until you’re sure you’ve drawn blood.
“I’ve always been rather fond of the number five,” he muses before suddenly pressing his thumb into your clit and watching as yet another orgasm tears you apart from the inside out.
You know he wants to be proud of the way he’s teased you but feeling you cum around his cock is always his favorite part. And you can see that euphoric haze dance across his face as he sucks in a sharp breath and releases your clit so he can slide his thumb into your mouth.
You suck it with purpose. With appreciation. Whimpering from the taste and the warmth of his hand. Letting your tongue explore the digit before settling him between your lips contently.
He balances his weight on his forearm to keep you satisfied. Continuing his gentle thrusts as you come down from the rush. “You okay, honey?”
You hum quietly, head nodding as you keep his finger snug in your mouth.
He seems pleased. “Gonna give me another one?”
Posed like a question but you know you have little choice. He wants five orgasms from you, and he won’t stop until he either gets them or you safeword.
So you motion your agreement once again and release his thumb. “Yes, Sir.”
He grins. “Good fucking girl.”
With that, he kisses you, and delivers another sharp thrust.
He finds a familiar rhythm, uncurling your leg from his hip so he can press it into the bed. Needing a deeper angle before he’s slipping an arm beneath your back and lifting you altogether.
You cry out his name, grateful the cameras aren’t rolling so you can use his real name. The one that melts from your tongue like butter on pancakes. Warm, and soft, and so deliciously sweet as you say it again just to hear it.
You feel a shiver roll down his spine at the sound. At the feel of you around his twitching cock.
“Harry,” you breathe just to see his lashes flutter. “Harry, please…please.”
In any other moment, he’d chastise you for the use of his name during a scene. Cameras or not. But today he needs it. Today he craves it.
You feel his muscles quiver under the weight of your adoration for him. He’s too far gone in his idea of you to think straight, and the dominant man you’ve come to know dissipates into the lover you cum for.
He returns to your clit as tears return to your eyes. You’ve always been sensitive. Perhaps too sensitive, especially right now as he works on your fourth.
“Please…please,” you gasp, writhing beneath his hold until he has to use his weight to keep you still. Pressing your body into the mattress until you have no other choice but to take the continued pleasure. “Sir, please—”
“Does it ache, honey?” he coos gently, glancing down at the way your body reacts to his touch and overstimulation. The sensitive nub much more swollen than it was before. “Sting?”
You nod fervently, lip tugged between your teeth until the taste of metal fills your mouth. “Can’t…can’t…can’t—”
“You can,” he murmurs. Firm yet oddly comforting. “You can, Peach. Daddy needs you to cum again. S’gonna help him feel better. And you wanna help him, don’t you? Help him feel better?”
He knows how to play you. Knows how to encourage the response he wants, and your skin is on fire as you squirm beneath his hand.
“Yes,” you pant before glancing up at him through tear-stained lashes. “Yes, Daddy. Want you to feel better.”
And you do. To the point that you’d endure hours of torture and overstimulation if it made him happy.
So you allow him to pinch, and pull, and rub until you’re beginning to sob. And you don’t mind because you know he’s watching and monitoring each reaction. Making sure that he never gives you more than you can handle.
But then you feel that strange and somewhat rare blooming in your chest. The kind that makes your eyes roll back into your head as you grab onto his shoulders and gasp.
You don’t have time to warn him. Don’t even have time to understand what’s about to happen.
But he does.
He’s seen this look on your face before and this is exactly what he’d wanted. More than anything, and the smirk the spreads across his face when he feels the rush of liquid over his cock is incredibly smug.
“There you go,” he coos, glancing down to watch the way you squirt for him. The way you soak his thighs, and hands, and stomach. The way you drench yourself and douse the bedding beneath in your arousal for him. “Just like that, honey, keep going. You’re okay.”
You’re whimpering so hard, your throat is sore. But he loves it. Indulges in each needy whine and groan as you melt under the weight of his strong frame.
You’re still sobbing, cheeks wet and warm. Hair matted to your forehead and skin sticky.
It’s the most beautiful look in the whole world, and he can’t help the rush of pride and appreciation he feels as he gazes down at you.
He slows his thrusts to allow you just a moment of reprieve, hand coming up to stroke down your face lovingly.
“Shh,” he whispers as you hiccup. Thumb tenderly brushing at your tears. “You’re okay, Peach. Did so good for me.”
You try to reply but your chest is heaving with more cries. “S’too much…too much, Sir—”
“I know,” he hums, cupping your jaw and dipping down to kiss the tip of your nose. “I know, baby. M’really pushing you, but you’re doing so well. Almost done, yeah? Just need you to cum for me one more time. Want you to cum with me.”
You begin to shake your head, the idea almost too much, and you catch the worry in his expression.
“Do you need to stop?” he asks now with an air of seriousness. “What’s your color, my love?”
You pause to catch your breath, allowing yourself enough room to decide. “It’s…it’s green.”
“Green,” he repeats but he’s unconvinced. Brows furrowing as he studies you. “Are you sure?”
You sniffle a bit before nodding slowly. “Yes, Sir. It’s green. Just needed a second.”
“You can have all the seconds you want,” he tells you, pressing his lips to yours caringly. “If you need to call yellow or red—”
“I don’t,” you insist, suddenly overcome by the fear he might stop. And you know he will. “I don’t, Daddy, promise. Was just a lot.”
“I know,” he says again, beginning to smile. “Know squirting takes a lot out of you, hm?”
You nod again and nuzzle into his palm. “Yes. But I’m okay now. Really.”
He regards you carefully, searching for any signs of deceit. “I need you to be sure, Peach. You’ll hurt Daddy if you lie to him.”
“M’not,” you whimper, turning to kiss his hand as if to solidify your promise. “M’really not. Wanna feel you cum with me, Sir. Need it. Need it, Sir, please—”
Your begging has always had this innate ability to turn his brain to mush. And it seems that hasn’t changed as a certain expression passes over his face and his thrusts begin to pick up once again.
“Yeah?” he murmurs, sliding his hand down to your throat. Squeezing it gently, yet enough to make you feel secure.
You sigh contently as you dance your hands down his spine, taking hold of his beautiful ass to help him along.
He smirks.
“Then let’s get that number five.”

You know, i try to forget the fact that ghost is from *manchester*
But also i live in manchester, and there is 6 foot something ex military engineer with a shitty mullet and tatoos from his wrists up to his neck, bulky as hell, who repairs the machines at my work place once a month and has basically the same accent and it drives me insane. Not love or lust or anything along those lines, just fangirl brains in overload 😤😔💀
Also really love android!ghost i can imagine the workspace as being in one of those enormous caverns under the tram lines cutting through manchester, near cornbrook, where the old rail bridge rots, for atmosphere? And yea android ghost would totally have the sorrows of a manchester working man and he watches you as the rail rumbles overhead in typical dreary weather because it rains everyday. Maybe it rusts the gears where his heart should be. Your writing is sooo damnn good it makes me feel things ;^;b
Currently the reader and Ghost are on a military base, so the workshop is more of a hole in the wall filled to the brim with bits and baubles of tech. I always imagine it as somewhere between cassette futurism(the gold standard of greebling) and hard cyberpunk. Big blocky screen tvs precariously placed with lines of code and old sonic games looping over them. Cables hanging from the ceiling and stringing between various computer towers. dimly lit save the few dental lights that the reader can wheel about(sort of) to whatever they're working on. A wooden workbench, a soldering iron, an iron stool. A box of drawers holding screws and tools strewn about. Organized chaos.
but back in Manchester? It was rotten, dreary. Huddled close to Simon to siphon some of the heat off of him as you handed over half your sandwich. Complaining about the rain to the closest thing you have to a friend. Scraping rust off of every bot that clamors through the doors of the shop you're apprenticing at. Simon offers you some of his mum's cookies, you pass him the thermos of tea you made this morning, dab some anti-bacterial on the cut under his eye. You feel old. You're so young.
You both talk about leaving, finding somewhere better, anywhere really. Just to get away and see the world. Two kids trying to make things a little easier for each other.
Anyway! I think it's fun to have a man to ogle at work. Very important for morale. I need more tattooed muscular men to look at with sinful eyes. Love me some eye candy.

The Gods Among us
It is not unusual to have Gods.
Most - if not all - of the sapient races did at one time or another.
What is unusual however, is how completely the humans kept their gods.
Don’t get it confused. There is not one human religion.
There are millions.
There are atheists who worship no gods and think the whole thing is rather silly, monotheists who worship one and only one god and get sniffy about all the others, and people who worship a whole pantheon of gods of all different shapes, sizes and colors.
People who worship nature.
People who worship their ancestors.
People who worship their system’s star.
Humans are unique in their belief though. They bring their gods with them. I mean this figuratively of course. But... also literally. Humans will talk about how their gods follow them, and come along - sometimes to help, sometimes not. They speak of them as if they're right there with them.
And friends, I swear I’ve seen them too.
One time, we were between the stars and our FlashWarp drive failed. I don't know the details behind the why of it, I was onboard as a passenger. We were two days without our drive and thoroughly stuck.
On this trip, quite a few of the passengers were human. I had seen them before in passing, but never up close before. Short and stout, their bodies shouted their origin. A dangerous, difficult, high gravity world. They were strong and clever and built to survive.
Some carried little trinkets and charms too. Little pieces of metal, or plastic in small shapes. During the evening meal, I had asked one of them about it, and they had mentioned that it was a sign of their religion.
"Religion? As in worshiping the supernatural?"
"Well, technically, I suppose. It's much more personal for me than something academic sounding like that." They smiled and used their delicate digits to manipulate the little charm while they spoke. "Humanity has had religion a long, long time. I understand that many Confederation races had it too at one point, but most decided to put it away as they ventured out into space, correct?"
I nodded. It was fascinating to hear the conversation. I had never spoken with a human this much before. Her accent was impeccable and her voice was like music. Did all humans sound like this?
She continued. "Humans - those who Believe - bring that with them in what they do, who they are. That's not to say that Atheists are bad or wrong, or people who follow different gods are bad or wrong either. The galaxy is large enough for everyone, right?" I nodded, trying to follow her logic. "But in a galaxy as large as this, I believe that there is more to existence than meets the eye." Her eyes twinkled as she spoke.
While we were speaking, another human walked by. Tall for them, male shaped, with broad shoulders, and quite a lot of facial hair - beards is what they called them I believe. His facial hair was neatly trimmed and oiled. As he walked by I could smell it. I couldn't place the scent. Resinous though, natural. It was nice.
As he walked by, he glanced down at Meredith, he saw her fingering her little charm - it was two straight pieces of metal crossed near the top, one smaller than the other - and smiled.
I looked up at him. We met eyes - Meredith didn't notice him - and he closed one eye quickly and then opened it again. I think it's called... a wink? It's one of those gestures humans do that's full of nuance. It's hard for most translators to understand it.
Just as quickly as it began, the interaction was over. He continued on with long purposeful strides towards the rear of the ship, where Engineering and the FlashWarp modules were.
Later that day, there was an announcement from the Captain that the drive was repaired and we could continue to warp to our destination. We would work hard to make up for lost time, but that we would probably be a demi cycle behind. Apologies were offered, discounts on future travel given out, but mostly everyone was happy we weren't stranded anymore.
A rumor started on the ship however. While the engineers had the drive apart and were struggling with why it had failed, a human had walked into Engineering, looking around as if they belonged there, approached the FlashWarp module and stared at it for a moment.
When confronted and asked what he was doing, he replied in perfect Maligran - the language of the engineers working that time - "Have you checked the outer compensator? It looks cracked to me." and then did that motion with one of his eyes - closing and opening the lid quickly - and left.
The engineers, with nothing else left to try checked the outer compensator. It was impossible to see with an unaided eye, but they scanned it and sure enough, it was cracked. Just enough to prevent the FlashWarp seed field from forming. They had a spare on hand, replaced it, and were up and running almost immediately.
The next morning, I sought out Meredith at the morning meal. I asked her if she knew the human that had walked in, pointed out the error and left.
"What did he look like?"
I described him as best as I could, as well as the scent I noticed.
She nodded sagely. "That was probably Saint Eligius, patron saint of mechanical engineers."
My fur puffed out involuntarily. "A religious figure?"
She nodded and took a sip of coffee. "A minor one, but one nonetheless."
"And you're not surprised by this?"
"On the contrary, I'm pleased to hear that my prayers were answered."
"You... prayed for him?"
"Not him specifically, but I did ask for help."
I sat down at the table heavily. It seemed impossible that a human saint had walked by - had winked at me - and yet...
"Meredith, can you tell me more about your religion?"

maybe this is more fanfic-y (and yes this ties with lettergate and that sus st writers tweet), but imagine s5 will walking in the woods, and he grows familar with where they’re at - near where castle byers was at.
he begins looking to find the destroyed pile of castle byers, just out of pure curiosity. he was expecting it to be all blown away by now from the cold and windy winter of 1985 he’d probably missed. but when he finds it… he finds it to be put together. well, not exactly how it was before - far from that. but, there was some sort of effort made by someone. couldn’t be just anyone. why would anyone care for something like this?
he gently rests a hand on the top, kneeling to sneak a peak inside, then falls an unsecure stick. his eyes following the stick, a bit buried, but noticable. he grabs it and opens it up.
the paper seems to have been crumbled before.
“dear will,
i’m sorry i hurt you like this. when you left, i couldn’t keep thinking about this. it felt like something wasn’t fixed. i never got to apologize for what i said that day when we were talking about el and the party, about how you don’t like girls. that was way out of line of me, and i didn’t mean it. i sounded just like the assholes that always bullied you i bet.
i guess i was just mad at myself. that whole summer, everything changed into something i didn’t like it. i was trying so hard to fit in with everyone else. lucas had max and maybe i just felt left out. did you ever feel like you were just trying to like things because people say you’re supposed to? i don’t like having a girlfriend. that makes me so weird, maybe crazy. but, i’m telling you this because you’re the only one that can accept my craziness, and because i lied to you and you deserve the truth - i can’t stop thinking about you, and it’s driving me crazy. i feel so wrong, i feel like i’m making a mistake. it should be el that makes me feel like this - any girl. but i don’t want a girlfriend, i don’t want to be popular, i don’t want things to change. i want to be with you playing dnd forever. i want you to be by my side forever. i don’t want to lose you like that again.
anyway i think you’ll like how i renovated castle byers. sorry i couldn’t get it done the way it probably was before, running on memory here. but you mean so much to me i just couldn’t not do anything and it’s been killing me just letting it be. hope this is gonna at least last until whenever you come back. winter’s gonna be strong this year.
love, mike”
will’s just… crying, shaking. he’s a jittery mess as his heart pounds from true happiness. he folds the letter and puts it in his pocket. he felt something had been repaired in his heart. it was at its fullest, had it not been in many, many years.
he sits inside the castle smiling to himself

‘Hello?’ you said awkwardly as you walked into the large car repair shop. You quickly turned when you heard a tool being slammed on the ground and you saw a man appear from underneath a car.
‘Aye?’ the man asked, with a thick Irish accent, ‘can I help ya, lady?’
‘Yeah, eh, my car… it’s… something’s wrong.’
‘Something?’ the man laughed and got up, ‘that doesn’t narrow it down.’
‘Sorry,’ you blushed, ‘I only just got my license and this is my first car.’
‘Oh,’ the man snorted, ‘I’ll have a look. Show me the problem.’
You walked outside to your car and unlocked the door, you told the Irish man that your car kept shutting down if you let the engine run longer than a minute without driving. He tested it himself and agreed there was something wrong, but nothing they couldn’t fix. He walked you back inside to fill in some paperwork.
‘So, lady… (y/n),’ the man said with a smile, we will give you a call when it’s fixed. Do you need a rental car in the meantime?’
‘Oh, no, I’ll be fine, thank you.’
You smiled and shook his hand before you left, awaiting the call.
—----------------
Two days later your phone rang.
‘Hello?’
‘Hi, this is Finan,’ an Irish accent said, ‘from the car repair shop, your car has been fixed and is ready to be picked up.’
‘Oh, thank you! I’ll be there as soon as I can.’
You took a bus and got off near the repair shop. You took off your sunglasses as you walked in, expecting to see the friendly Irish man again, but instead you were startled by the sound of a trunk being slammed shut harshly. You looked to where the sound came from and locked eyes with a handsome man who had short, dark hair and had a tattoo on his neck, which ran up to the side of his head. His face had black smudges on it, just like his sleeveless shirt and his, very toned, arms. You didn’t realise your mouth had fallen slightly open when you took in the sight of the man across from you.
‘I’m sorry, did I startle you?’ the man grinned as he walked over to you and threw a dirty cloth over his shoulder.
‘I, I,’ you stammered, watching him approach and unfortunately realising he was even more handsome up close, ‘I am just… here to,’ you swallowed hard when you saw his mismatched eyes and old scars on his face, ‘I’m here to pick up my c-car.’
‘Your car?’ he frowned, ‘are you sure you’re in the right place?’ he smirked and winked.
‘I’m… I’m sorry?’ you smiled nervously and felt yourself blush.
‘I’m only messing with you, lady,’ he chuckled and nudged your shoulder as he walked past you, ‘come, I’ll have to look at the paperwork. What brand is your car?’
‘It’s…’ you mumbled as you walked after him, desperately trying to remember which brand it was, but failed to recall it, ‘I… don’t know.’
The man stopped at the desk and looked at you with an amusing look on his face.
‘You don’t know the brand of your car?’
‘I only just bought it,’ you tried to defend yourself, ‘I think the logo has a circle.’
‘A circle, huh?’ the man smiled and rubbed his hands over his goatee, ‘let me think, a brand with a circle in its logo.’
‘Maybe… maybe the brand was Audi?’ you simply guessed at this point.
‘Lady,’ the man snorted, ‘that’s one of the few brands that does not have a circle in its logo.’
‘Oh,’ you said and shook your head, ‘I’m… I’m sorry.’
‘I’m still messing with you,’ he chuckled, ‘I’m the one who should say sorry. So consider this as my apology.’
‘Oh, well…’ you giggled, still flustered, ‘apology accepted I suppose.’
‘Good,’ he smiled and licked his lips, ‘what is your name?’
‘My name?’
‘Yeah,’ the man squinted his eyes slightly, ‘the name you gave us when you brought your car here.’
‘Oh!’ you laughed nervously and shook your head, ‘it’s (y/n).’
You watched how the man calmly flipped through some papers on the desk, and you couldn’t help but sigh quietly as you saw how his arm flexed slightly when he pulled open a drawer. What a sight, you thought.
‘By the gods,’ the handsome man muttered and snorted before he looked up at you, ‘your name is indeed attached to an Audi.’
‘Oh,’ you chuckled, ‘see, I told you.’
‘You did tell me, I should have listened,’ he smiled and pulled your keys out of the drawer, ‘but my colleague always tells me that I am not very good at listening. At least, I think that’s what he said,’ he winked and motioned you to walk with him.
‘The Irish man? Finan?’ you asked.
‘That’s him. Truth is that I do hear him talk, I just chose to not listen anymore,’ he smirked and you couldn’t help but giggle. He was handsome and funny, you didn’t know men like that still existed in your town.
‘I’m Sihtric, by the way,’ he stopped walking and held his hand out to you.
You took his hand and smiled with a blush, ‘Nice to meet you.'
‘Nice to meet you too, (y/n),’ he smiled. You felt yourself blush again when he didn’t let go of your hand right away and looked into your eyes just a tad too long. He chuckled lightly at your reddened cheeks and finally let go of your hand and turned to walk to your car.
‘So,’ Sihtric said as he unlocked your car and pointed to the logo on the front, which had 4 circles, ‘where exactly is the circle in the logo?’
‘Really?’ you snorted, ‘I am going to leave this place a bad review now. You always make fun of your customers?’
‘Only when they’re as pretty as you.’
‘W-what?’
‘You heard me,’ Sihtric smiled and rolled his eyes, and you saw him clutch the pendant around his neck in his fist, ‘but you’re honestly the first one I’ve made fun of,’ he winked and handed you the keys.
And if he had winked at you one more time, you would have dragged him with you to the backseat of your car and ripped that filthy shirt off his chest.
‘Well,’ you giggled as you sat down behind the wheel, ‘thank you, I suppose. And thank you for fixing my car.’
‘You’re more than welcome,’ Sihtric smiled and carefully closed your car door, being very aware you hadn’t paid yet.
You rolled down your window, it was summer after all, and you looked up at him with a smile as he leaned in, resting his hands on your car.
‘But I will still leave that bad review,’ you teased.
‘Oh, I’m looking forward to it. Don’t forget to call us when you need help again.’
‘I will make sure to not call you guys again,’ you chuckled.
‘Yeah, yeah. I’ll see you again, lady,’ Sihtric smirked once more and licked his lips again before he turned and walked away.
—----------
You woke up in the middle of the night, suddenly realising you never paid for the repair of your car and you buried your face in your pillow. You hadn’t stopped thinking about Sihtric ever since you had seen him, and now you had to go back to the repair shop to pay. You felt embarrassed and didn’t realise Sihtric had done it on purpose. He didn’t actually expect you to come back, but he knew there was a chance and even if you didn’t return, the repair costs had been so minor, he thought you were cute enough to let this one slide. But you couldn’t live with yourself and went back the next day.
Once again it was a hot summer day, and the heat had also snuck inside the repair shop. Yesterday it seemed rather cool in contrast to the temperature outside, but today it seemed as boiling inside as it was outside. You puffed at the heat as you walked in, once again looking for an employee, and once again you were startled when you heard tools clatter on the floor.
‘Broke your car already?’ Sihtric chuckled when he saw you.
You snapped your head towards him and discovered he was once again decorated with black smudges on his face, as were his toned arms, but you froze at the sight of his bare chest covered with those same smudges. You felt yourself turn red at the sight of his shirtless body and thanked the gods for this hot summer day, so your red cheeks weren’t a strange sight.
‘I…I… did not break my car,’ you hissed, but couldn’t hold back your smile.
He was too damn handsome and it was an absolute crime to look this good.
‘So you just came back to see me again?’
‘What? N-no, I… I’m…’
‘Sihtric!’ Finan suddenly yelled as he walked in, ‘get back to work.’
‘Yes, boss,’ he mocked and saluted Finan as he walked by, ‘I was just distracted,’ Sihtric winked at you, and you thought you were about to pass out.
‘Is he bothering you?’ Finan asked and shook his head.
‘It’s fine,’ you chuckled, ‘but, eh, I picked up my car yesterday and only when I was in bed, I realised that I had forgotten to pay. I’m really sorry, so that’s why I’m here.’
Sihtric grinned and watched you satisfyingly as he was underneath a car again.
‘Aye, lady, that is very kind. I will tell my colleague off for that later.’
‘No, I … I really didn’t think about it either, it’s my fault too.’
‘Well,’ Finan said as you paid, ‘I’m thankful you came back.
‘You’re welcome,’ you smiled and nodded before you walked back out to your car.
‘Thought about me when you were in bed, huh?’ Sihtric taunted from underneath a car as you walked past him.
‘Bad review,’ you warned him and quickly walked to your car to hide your red cheeks.
You sat behind the wheel and covered your face in your hands, leaning forwards, wishing the world would just swallow you whole now. To make things worse, you leaned in too far and too fast and accidentally honked as your elbows collided with the steering wheel.
You saw both men look up at you, Finan with a frown and Sihtric with a grin, and you quickly started your car and got out of there.
—------------------------------------------
It had been a few weeks since you first met Sihtric, and it had been a nightmare to forget him. You just couldn’t. He had made you a hot mess both times you saw him, but you had regained your confidence and were desperate to lay eyes on him again. Preferably shirtless.
Since Sihtric had been messing with you, and you yearned to see him again, you toyed with the idea of just stopping by, claiming there was something wrong with your car even when there wasn’t. You felt bad at the idea, knowing you’d rob him of his time, but what else could you do? So you did it anyway. You made a little effort to look nice and got in your car, thinking of lies you could tell him about your car.
You pulled onto the parking lot and got out of your car. Before you had closed the door behind you, you spotted Sihtric who was already looking at you with a sly smile. He was sitting outside in the sun, enjoying a coffee, unfortunately not shirtless this time, but he lowered his sunglasses when you smiled and walked over to him.
‘Lady,’ he said as he looked you up and down, ‘can I help you?’
Oh, you could help me, you thought, help me take off my clothes.
‘My car,’ you smiled innocently, ‘I think something’s wrong.’
‘Is there now?’ Sihtric bit down on his lip, ‘you want me to take a look at it?’
‘If you have the time?’ you fluttered your eyelashes, slightly blushing.
‘For you?’ he smiled and paused, ‘always.’
He got up and followed you as you walked to your car, smirking as he checked you out from behind, but sighed and rolled his eyes when Finan ruined the moment as he greeted you.
‘Hi, ya,’ Finan said, ‘issues with the engine again?’
‘Oh, eh, no,’ you blushed, ‘it’s… it’s… a weird noise sometimes, but that's... that's not why I'm here.’
‘A weird noise?’ Finan frowned, ‘it ran fine when I last tried it.’
‘Finan,’ Sihtric said, raising an eyebrow, ‘let me do my job?’
‘Alright, yeah, just making sure it’s not the same issue. The car’s too young to have the same issue coming back,’ Finan smiled politely at you, ‘good day, ma’am.’
‘Thank you,’ you smiled, feeling relieved he didn’t take over from Sihtric.
You left the car door open and went to sit behind the wheel, Sihtric crouched down next to you outside of the car and watched you start the engine.
‘It’s… this.. light, in the dashboard, a little icon that keeps glowing,’ you lied.
‘What icon is it?’ Sihtric asked and looked concentrated at the dashboard, his jaw clenched, waiting for anything out of the ordinary to appear.
‘I’m not sure actually,’ you chuckled, ‘it randomly appears and then it won’t go out.’
‘Hm,’ Sihtric hummed, ‘nothing weird seems to happen now. And no weird noise either.’
‘Of course it’s not showing now,’ you chuckled, and as you felt a rush of confidence you brushed your fingertips over Sihtric’s arm, ‘the problem never occurs when someone looks at it, right?’
‘Right,’ Sihtric smiled and leaned in closer to you, ‘well, unfortunately I can’t help you right now if I can’t see or hear the problem.’
The problem is that you are still fully dressed, you thought, and cursed yourself for being so weak for a car mechanic.
‘Oh, I understand. I just hoped it would show up now,’ you sighed.
‘Keep an eye on it, will you?’ Sihtric looked up at you with a soft smile, ‘if you think anything is wrong, just come back here and I’ll take a look at it.’
‘Okay,’ you smiled, ‘do I need to call in before I come here?’
‘No, it’s all good, you can come anytime.’
So can you, you thought, and had to bite your lip to stop yourself from smirking.
‘Okay, thank you, Sihtric.’
‘You’re more than welcome,’ he smiled and also had to bite down on his lip.
Hearing his name coming out of your mouth was a blessing to his ears, and he hoped he’d hear it again, just in a different setting. Preferably when he was on top of you. And he had to compose himself, unbeknownst to him that you struggled to contain your thoughts just like he did.
—--------------------------------
Sihtric was on your mind 24/7 by now. You’d seen him a few days ago and that had only made your lust for him worse. He was so kind yet so rough looking at the same time and you were so desperate to get to know him, but you didn’t dare to ask him out on a date. You hoped that he would ask you, but you still weren’t sure if he was interested in you or just being a kind mechanic. You had to find out, and there was only one way to do so. But you couldn’t come in with the same lie.
You got in your car, and as you drove out of your parking spot you deliberately hit the tree which was positioned next to the right side of your car, causing the mirror to crack. You smiled proudly and drove to the repair store.
As you turned into the parking lot you saw Sihtric jump up, recognizing your car already. You rolled down your window as he leaned in and you smiled politely.
‘Can I help you?’ Sihtric smirked.
‘My mirror,’ you shrugged.
Sihtric chuckled at the sight of your cracked mirror and shook his head.
‘You gotta be more careful, lady.’
‘I know, I know. But the tree was even closer than it appeared to be.’
‘Gods,’ Sihtric smiled, ‘and how’s the dashboard icon? Still appearing? And the noise?’
‘Sometimes,’ you lied, anything to keep his attention.
‘I can fix the mirror, it won’t take long, but I do have to fix another car before I can take a look at yours. You can pick it up at 5, if that suits you?’
‘Sure, not a problem. Do I need to go through the whole paperwork again?’
‘We can do that when you pick it up, my break is almost over.’
‘Fine by me,’ you smiled.
Sihtric opened the door for you and offered you his hand. You accepted his completely unnecessary help and got out of your car. He closed the door behind you and he held your hand just a little too long for it to be just polite.
‘I will see you later then,’ he smiled, finally letting go of your hand.
‘You will,’ you said and walked away. You glanced back over your shoulder and caught Sihtric checking you out with a smirk, but he quickly looked away when you had caught him in the act.
‘Her again?’ Finan huffed as he walked over to Sihtric, ‘what is it now?’
‘Broke her mirror,’ Sihtric said, composing himself, ‘and the dashboard icon is still a problem, as is the noise.’
‘I don’t understand, the car is way too young to have those issues. The mirror, fine, that’s a human mistake, but the rest?’
‘Finan, why are you so worked up over this?’
‘It makes me feel like I did a shit job fixing her car last time, and I hate that feeling!’
‘Don’t worry about it, okay, I’m fixing it now,’ Sihtric said and punched Finan’s shoulder, ‘besides, you are shit at fixing cars.’
