happy jaemin day♡

It was a really hot day. You lay on your stomach in your shared bedroom with jaemin, watching youtube from your phone while munching cereals you made two minutes ago. Plastic bowl anxiously wiggling at the slightest as you lift your legs in the air, swinging it back and forth. And it is really a bad idea only if jaemin saw this because he's gonna freaked out that the bowl filled with milk and sweet corn flakes could be fell anytime and spilling all over the mattress, giving your roommate another housework for dirtying the sheets.

And the bad news is, he saw it. You, already home a while ago and simply think that it's so fucking blazing outside hence you just wanted to cool it off, by making yourself almost naked, stripping your clothes off while leaving the underwear alone. He saw you, and it have to be said that for some reason, maybe, just maybe, your appearance was giving him some guts.

In a matter of fact you don't want jaemin to see your reckless self whenever he's around cause you think that it could make him uncomfortable since he's so well organized (you thought you really tried to), and you didn't expect him to be home this soon! Jaemin would scold you the way he did everyday tho; for throwing away dirty clothes on the floor scattered, eating on the bed, not doing the dishes at all, or leaving your underwear carefreely hanging behind the bathroom door. You used to hear his nagging all day long, and you're lucky enough he's not kicking you out already. He's basically baby sits you, and you're his baby girl. Blame him for being such a daddy.

For your surprise, he didn't scold you. You're already giving him a sheepish smile and is ready for his babbling but instead, you saw him leaning against the door frame, hands folded against his chest while be prod his cheek.

"What are you doing?" He started.

"Uhh eating cereals?"

"I can see that. But why are you naked?"

You rolled your eyes, engulfing the last drop of milk from the bowl. Your head thrown back, showing your gorgeous neck line. The way you did it makes your body even more exposed, body tilt to show him your almost spilling tits from your bra.

You can't see, but jaemin is gulping at the sight. His brows lifted suggestively and he found himself licking his own lips.

After finished, you let out a loud satisfied moan (bcs the cereal was good) then answered, "jaemin, i'm technically not naked. I'm still having my underwear on." You deadpanned.

He just stared at you for a while with an unknowing look in his eyes. You can't tell that if it was anger by the way his eyes darkened, or his now half lidded eyes is rather full of lust.

And then he finally said,

"And what if i say that i want you to take it off?"

falling for you was way too easy.

bsf!jaemin has fallen for you in ways he’s unable to explain. maybe it’s the way you smile. the way your lips curve into a soft smile, revealing a row of pearly whites. the way the ends of your eyes crinkle when you smile your pretty smile. the way you look away when you smile.

or, maybe, it’s the way you laugh. when your melodious laugh escapes your lips, jaemin feels weak in the knees. you bite your bottom lip to suppress your laugh but it doesn’t work, because the next thing you know, you’re laughing your head off, eyes teary from bliss and jaemin thinks your laugh is one of his favorite things about you.

maybe it was your intricate words. maybe it’s the way you wouldn’t let him miss a single meal. maybe it was the way you’d run your fingers through his hair to relieve him of stress. or maybe, its just you.

there’s a part of him that wants to tell you. tell you to be his. tell you he’d love to hold you close romantically. whisper cheesy lines to you. caress your cheek. get lost in time with you. lose himself in you, more than he already does.

and yet he can’t bring himself to confess.

“jaem?”

the latter snaps his head up, the delicate sound of your voice bringing him out of his temporary trance. you’re sitting across from him, legs crossed and brows furrowed. the restaurant is bustling with busy waiters and customers, the low sound of conversation and utensils clanking.

you stare at him, tilting your head in concern. “are you okay? you’ve been spacing out for like five minutes now.”

the look of concern across your face is almost enough for jaemin to pour his heart out to you, right then and there, key word; almost. jaemin musters up the best smile he can and nods reassuringly.

a small flicker of doubt flashes in your eyes but your quick to continue with your previous conversation. plus, if jaemin had something on his mind, he’d totally tell you. right?

after all, he is your best friend.
