💕 To the sister who is experiencing her first Eid as a widow. Your garment, your protector, your supporter, your friend and your love was called back to Allah before he could see the beautiful light of the Eid moon. You cry and feel empty as you wish you could greet him with love just once more as he walked into your home after Eid Salaah, yet you wipe your tears and smile at the sight of your sons as you see his reflection illuminating on their faces.

💕 To the revert brother who is alone this Eid as he does not have family or friends who are Muslim. After experiencing an amazing Eid Salaah he goes home to an empty house and lonely thoughts.

May Allah bless you with a beautiful family of your own who will bring sunshine and joy into your home and your heart.

💕 To the elderly mother whose heart, eyes and arms are yearning to see and embrace her children and grandchildren. Her tired and wrinkled eyes search out her little window awaiting their arrival yet they do not visit her at her 'home' for the elderly. She does not even get an Eid phone call or message from her son and daughter, yet another Eid alone with tears and memories for company.

May Allah soften the heart, mind and soul of every child who placed their parents in a 'home' for the aged. May Allah place in their hearts love, mercy and time for their parents.

💕 To the recently divorced sister who is hurting. She feels confused and seeks comfort from her family and friends yet her heart can never mend.

May Allah erase your disappointments, heal your broken heart and give you happiness and peace again.

💕 To the brother who saved every spare penny, sacrificing his wants to purchase a sheep for Eid.

May Allah grant you barakaah and happiness always.

💕 To our beautiful brothers, sisters, children, parents and grandparents who are facing death and destruction, living in tents and in fear this Eid with not even a slice of bread or a bottle of clean water.

May Allah send aid, restore safety and grant you peace again. May Allah rebuild your home, hope and happiness.

💕 To the ones who are seeking life partners and feel lonely on Eid day although surrounded by family and friends.

May Allah unite you with your soulmate who will be an asset to your imaan and a mercy, love and happiness to your heart.

💕 To the husband and his children who stand outside the I.C.U ward on Eid day staring with tears in their eyes and hearts at the wife and mother who lies attached to a life support machine.

May Allah ease her pain and give you and your family comfort in knowing you will meet her again in a painless and suffering free eternal bliss.

💕 To the father who promised his wife and children new clothing for Eid, yet he does not even have enough money to buy a few items to cook a good meal on Eid.

May Allah grant you so much barakaah that whatever little money you have increases.

💕 To all those brothers and sisters out there: I know you have heavy hearts, restless souls and troubled minds this Eid.

May Allah soothe your soul, unburden your heart and mend your mind with love and happiness.

May this Eid illuminate your life with barakaah, peace, happiness, unity, trust and love.

May Allah bless you with so much happiness and contentment to erase your every worry, stress, tear and heartache.

May your day be filled with noor, beauty, peace and barakah. As you raise your hands and make dua on these Mubarak days and nights please do remember all your brothers and sisters around the world.

"When mortals and gods meet" | A Marvel mini fic with OCs

This is an alternate time where Loki isn't a threat to Midgard anymore, and everyone survived Endgame.

"Just make sure to say hi. You don't have to start a conversation with any politicians." Tony Stark reminded his adoptive daughter, Eden, who was tweaking with a piece of machinery in her personal lab.

The teen sighed in annoyance as she looked away from her work. "Can't we just stay here?" Eden groaned as she pointed to her classmate and boyfriend, Peter Parker.

"You can come back after an hour or so into the party. Besides, Thor and Loki are coming too, and they're bringing someone along with them. Now be careful and don't spill oil over your dress." Tony insisted as he finally walked away after being notified that the first guests arrived.

Peter laughed and stood up. "At least Thor's coming!" He cheered. The blonde god was like an uncle to them, always telling them stories about his battles.

Loud chatter and laughter filled the living room. It smelled of fine wine and the band Tony hired didn't fail to entertain everyone.

Everyone seemed to have a great time except Eden.

"What's wrong, Eid?" Peter asked with concern as they sat down by the bar.

"It's always the same loop ever since we entered high school. Parties and being offered scholarships or internships just because I'm Tony Stark's daughter." The girl sighed "I'm sick of it. I just want my own lab to mess around like he does."

Despite the top floor being flooded by people, the world seemed to fade away, leaving the two teenagers alone.

"Well, I'd say you're doing a pretty good job so far. Never allow anyone to ruin your day." Peter smiled as he slid a bubbly coke towards Eden.

She laughed. "Heh. Thanks."

Just then, distant thunder rumbled into the night sky. Eden and Peter smiled wide because they knew the god of thunder had arrived. They ran outside towards the helipad Tony used as a landing base for his suit and greeted the newcomers.

"Thor!" Eden cried.

"Welcome back!" Peter chimed in.

The blonde, muscular man smiled down at them as he placed down Stormbreaker. "It's great to visit Midgard again."

Behind him appeared an equally tall, but slim figure. The god of mischief himself, Loki!

He grinned. "I see you two are united as ever."

"I don't remember midgardians being this...small." A female voice pointed out.

Everyone turned their heads towards a sharp featured woman with brown hair and eyes as silver as a razor's edge.

"They're younglings, Sigrid. Not adults yet." Loki chuckled, walking towards her.

"Actually, we're what us humans call teenagers." Peter corrected with a squeaky voice.

"Come on, let's go inside. I'm sure Tony would be happy to chat with you boys." Eden guided everyone inside, drink clinking at hand.

The party quieted down to a sweet jazz and chatter turned to murmurs.

"So, Sigrid, how do you know the Odinson brothers?" Eden tried to make small talk with the outsider.

The tall woman smiled awkwardly and parted her lips. "Well, we all know the famous story of how Loki stabbed Thor after turning into a snake, right? I witnessed the whole thing. It was pretty hilarious."

The pair listened attentively, snorting at the last sentence.

"I mean no disrespect, but..." Peter stuttered "From what we were taught so far about norse mythology...we never heard of you."

Sigrid was a little taken aback by the comment, but brushed it off quickly. "Oh, that's because I'm not a god in the first place. I was born a Light Elf, and when I finally discovered my true birth identity, it was too late. I was already an adult. Freyr, the god of harvest and my adoptive father, confessed I was abandoned at birth but he and his wife took me right in."

"Then how are you immortal?" Eden asked, pushing her bar stool closer.

"Easy. I was fed a golden apple as a child so that if the sacred oak tree of the light elves was cut, I wouldn't die with it." The diety choked on her words as the memories came back in.

Eden gasped. "Oh my..., we're so sorry! We didn't mean to intrude in your personal life!" She apologized.

"No no, it's okay. At least I got him now." Sigrid chuckled as she brushed off a stray tear from her left eye.

"Him? Who's him?" Peter questioned as he looked around the room.

The woman didn't answer. She just stared straight ahead and did a shy smile as she looked towards none other than Loki. He was having a rather lively conversation with Tony Stark.

"Oh, I see what's going on here. You like Loki!" Eden teased with a smirk.

"Oh shush. Of course I don't." Sigrid tried to deny the teen's statement, but her bright blush gave everything away.

"You don't what, my dear?" A deep voice creeped down her spine, making Sigrid shiver. Loki had managed to sneak up behind her and snake his arms around her waist.

Sigrid turned around and stood up, crossing her arms.

"May I have this dance before we leave?" The god of mischief asked as he bowed down, extending a pale hand.

"Of course you can, Loki." She smiled joyfully as she took his hand, following him to the dance floor.

The teenagers watched them leave before Peter had an idea.

"May I...May I dance with you?" Peter stuttered as he pulled at his suit's collar.

"Yes you may." Eden giggled as she playfully pulled from his red necktie onto the dance floor.

"Hey, hey!!! You two, keep it below PG-13 please!" Tony warned, then returned to talking with Rhodey. Most likely something about Tony throwing too many parties just for fun.

The core value of Ramadan, the holy act of fasting, is universal – to assist people to find out how to resist reckless temptations. Believers observe fast from dawn to dusk without experiencing the ecstasy of food and drink. This is practiced by all Muslims regardless of where they live, but the way fasting is widely known somewhat differs from region to region. An Arab’s way of celebrating Ramadan is probably going to be a touch different from non-Arabs. So am sharing my experience of Ramadan being observed and celebrated in India.

Most of the people that observe fast remain in their regular routine of doing duties and performing tasks. Commercial activity remains unaltered during the day and other people begin to retire to bed by midnight. Men, women, and youngsters remain busy with their work while removing time to interrupt their fast at sunset.

Muslims and Non-Muslims, everyone from different social classes close during this month. Muslims invite their neighbors, non-Muslims, for iftar and so do the non-Muslims arrange iftar for Muslims. Stalls are put up on streets serving free water, dates, and fruits for people who can and cannot afford it, whether Muslim or not. Hotels in India remain open to the public. The restaurants are also seen open with their curtains half-hanging at the entrance where Muslims dwell in the majority.

The freedom to eat or to drink is unrestricted in India with no spiritual consequence intrinsically, unlike in Muslim countries.

Preparation for the Celebration of EID

Eid Al-Fitr marks the top of Ramadan and also documented because of the festival of “Breaking the Fast”. Millions of Muslims around the world are going to be gathering with their family and friends, attending morning prayers, giving donations to charity, and having feasts together.

Although Eid is celebrated in a range of varying ways by people of different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, there are also a number of common rituals which link the tradition with the worldwide Muslim community as a whole. On the morning of the primary day of Eid-ul-Fitr, Muslims traditionally begin their day by heading to their local mosque for morning prayers. An ode to being an "Abbu": interpreted through my eyes and heart.

The best feeling was when we would have to greet you by bowing our heads, 'Onegaishimasu', and depart with gratitude saying 'Doumo arigatou gozaimasu' - Japanese greetings to vocalise the respect we have for you, manifest in a perfectly appropriate way!

I adore that we can humourously refer to each other as the cartoon characters, the copious, Cow and cheeked, Chikkin.

I recall when you were awfully sick during Hajj, I slipped away to get you Zam-Zam water, desperate to get you to stop vommiting...

I should tell Salahuddin and Tahlil they owe their Aunty, for possibly saving their Abbu's life!

The best gift you ever gave us is your wife, my sister, as I permanently refer to her...

I hope you realise you have to make an Eid address because now you see that my dua'a are answered, Alhamdulillah!

Mahmud Mohammad Habib Al Redha feels though the pandemic has curtailed social actions throughout Eid, it has under no circumstances taken away from the non secular significance of the pageant.

It is my earnest belief that the future is bright. Happy Independence Day, Nigeria.” Speculations were rife that Aisha was unable to pull her weight round the Aso Villa lately and uncomfortable with how government affairs were being run by some powerful people in her husband’s cabinet. Aisha has not been in the country for nearly two months since the completion of the Hajj. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Administration, Dr Hajo Sani, had represented Aisha on a number of occasions, including an event of the Organisation of African First Ladies for Development, which held on September 25, on the sidelines of the 74th United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States. The event was said to have been attended by the first ladies of Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Niger Republic. But the Director of Information to the First Lady, Suleiman Haruna, has said Aisha’s absence from the country for about two months was not due to any infighting in Aso Villa. He said, “It’s a free world and people have been speculating about everything in this country and it is allowed. She is a free Nigerian and does not work for the government. So, if she decides to stay somewhere in her village for two months or to go somewhere and stay for two months, why should it become a national issue? “She is a free Nigerian and has absolute freedom to move round for however long she wants.” Read the full article
