Summary: Izzy was no stranger to fairy tales. Her father is Captain Hook and her mother is not only the Savior but Snow White and Charming's daughter, for example. Fairy tales were just par for the course for this Storybrooke resident. Alas, she never felt like she'd ever have a story of her own.

One day Izzy came upon a story book that was unlike any of the other stories - they were darker, grim. It was odd because she felt more connected to them than any other story in the world around her.

Just when she was about to close the book, it threw itself across the room, slammed itself into the wall and when it hit the floor a portal opened.

Before Izzy had a chance to react she was pulled into the portal and fell out the other side in front of 'Welcome to Portland' sign. Since things looked...well, normal, Izzy headed into town to get to a phone and try calling home.

Izzy didn't get very far before coming upon a person whose appearance changed before her eyes, shouted 'Grimm!' at her and ran away. This was just the start of her adventure down the rabbit hole.

Apparently being the daughter of the Savior in her world made her a Grimm in this one. This is something that she explores when she meets a pair of Grimms named Nick and Trubel.

After awhile Izzy accepts the fact that because of the differences in what constitutes as magic between her world in this one that she'll likely never make it home. Part of her is okay with that because she finally feels like she's taking part in her own story.

Alas, like all stories hers goes through an edit when her older brothers Henry and Liam somehow manage to take a portal to find her and have a way to get her home. The question is...does she even want to go?

Plot Bunny that will not leave me

--Salem gathered the 4 Relics and successfully summoned the gods. The Brother Gods deem humanity unworthy and cast Ultima, once again decimating the entire human population except for 2. --Jaune and Ruby are the only survivors; due to Ruby and Jaune's Aura being linked and successfully neutralizing the Brother's attack. --Jaune and Ruby wander around empty Remnant, with Ruby pretty non-responsive. She walks she eats and breathes, but she does not talk does not laugh nor emotes. Jaune is little better, but can still force himself to push through for Ruby's sake. If there is one thing he was good at, it was being strong for someone else.

--Jaune and Ruby find ruins regarding Salem and Ozma's time, during the Age of First Humanity. Within them is a library with old tomes and grimoires. Most of them are ruined, but some of them are in perfect condition despite clearly being ancient. --Signs that someone occasionally read them in recent times are apparent. Jaune discovers even more secrets by way of notations made by someone within the texts. Speaks of how the Soul is made of Light and Dark, and while humans have learned to harness the Light, the ways of Darkness have been lost and reduced to mere myth or at best, as obscure cults.

--Jaune reads everything he finds aloud for Ruby to hear as well, even if he is unsure if she is even listening. He makes sure that she eats her food and makes sure to keep her healthy. 3 years since the end have passed and Ruby has yet to respond. --Jaune realizes that most of the texts speak regarding the harnessing of Light and Darkness, and how full mastery of both can lead to a fusion of sorts, which could lead to the successful usage of the soul's full potential. Some notations even theorize that whatever the "Darkness of the Soul" is, it is most likely associated with Grimm and their make-up. --Jaune recalls the converstations he had with Pyrrha back at Beacon, how everytime she spoke to him and taught him about Aura, she spoke about it in a way that was very similar to spiritual doctrines and beliefs. And how everything she told him were basically repeated in the tomes and grimoires. --Some texts also spoke about a time far before even Salem's. Specifically, they spoke about a "Tyrant of Light" and about how the Darkness was constantly being mislead and betrayed by it, and how the tyrant's desire for Absolute Order caused it to create heartless laws in order to keep all creation under the grip of its authority while hypocritically referring to it as "maintaining peace", despite said tyrant also being the one who often drove zealots to cause wars and unrest by crusading on its name every time humanity seemed to have reached a golden age.

--5 years since the end of the world and Ruby still hasn't shown any changes to her condition, while Jaune has now taken to travelling across the desolate Remnant in search of more tomes, texts or even any more objects or relics that can describe more about the old age; his newfound thirst for knowledge and helping Ruby being the only things that kept him from completely shutting down like Ruby had.

--He now knew some magic spells, though he did not have Magic to use them, but has tried to access the so-called "Darkness of the Soul" the texts spoke of, in order to fuse it with "The Light of the Soul", that is to say Aura, in order to create a new energy he hypothesized to be equal to Magic. Jaune's belief was, that if he could use "The Power of the Soul in it's Totality", and if he could use Magic with it; then maybe he could tinker with it until he could finally use the knowledge that gave him his hope back.

--A tome spoke of an ancient time spell. The wizard who wrote it, one who hailed from a time before Salem and Ozma; spoke of how humanity's fate had long been decided. The wizard also spoke about how "The Tyrant of Order" had actually come to disdain his and his brother's creation due to them always using their free will in way he did not approve. To the one of Light, free will meant "Having Free Will to choose to submit to him"; but humans were too independent, the more the one of Light tried to impose his will upon them, the more he tried to force them to a certain path, the more the humans defied him and rebelled. While Dark had animosity for the humans due to their lack of acknowledgement, he also greatly respected their drive to survive and thrive. Even the Grimm were, in his eyes, his own way of showing affection.

--To the "Lord of Destruction", Grimm were not only meant as a tool to cull the truly vile and evil (Jaune: "Wait, is that why they always seemed to sense focus on negative emotions"), they were also meant to give humans a challenge, a struggle. A constant battle that would force humans to constantly adapt, constantly grow, constantly evolve; it was meant to feed the fire of their determination and their passion for life. Although humans, in turn, saw it as the hatred of a scorned deity was never acknowledged for his actions nor thanked for his gifts.

--Back in the truly ancient days, the "God of Darkness" and the "God of Light" were equally worshipped and revered. Light and Dark, Life and Death, Creation and Destruction; these two concepts were acknowledged as the two pillars that served as the foundation of their world's laws. While one saw humans with an affection akin to how one would care for a toy for their own amusement, the other considered humans as no more than puppets for him to control, no more than servants to praise him. To one, their free will and spirit was what made humans interesting and entertaining; to the other, it is what made them insolent and compelled them to chase their own self-destruction. .........More to be added later

Hi! I've been wanting to send asks for a while but couldn't think of a good question until recently.

I have three questions (or perhaps I should say headers).

One: How's your rewrite progressing? At what stages is cannon altered? Are there going to be concepts/characters ignored entirely?

Two: I've seen your (humorous) plea for long/multi chapter eah fics what are some of the favorite's you've read already? Any chance you have an idea of your own outside the rewrite? long or short (chances are yes, for literally anyone in this fandom but it bears asking).

Three: What fairytale(s) would you

A: Like to repeat

B: Could functionally thwart if you had to live through it.

C: Die in, or flee the land to avoid at all cost's.

Omg love the questions. I will admit I’m a bit to brain dead to fully comprehend all the questions so if I answer I different question that what you intended feel free to correct me.

With that being said, the first chapter of my rewrite is done and basically fully edited I believe it’s around 6000/7000 words. Chapter two hadn’t been edited but it’s kinda a weird one so it doesn’t really need to be edited and it’s only around 2000 words.

Chapter 3 I’ve written a bit of it and it’s also a short and I have a layout for it. And chapter 4 is going to be on the longer side probably 6000-10000 words. But after those are done and edited hopefully I’ll publish the fic!!

So that’s the progress, for what parts of canon are being altered, I think a lot of characterization. Bunny, Alistair, Crystal, Milton Grimm, Snow White & EQ are all characters who were either portrayed as good or morally grey that I’m going to make evil (whoops spoilers) and then also kitty isn’t really going to have a redemption arc like she did in spring unsprung, she’s just going to continue to chaotically be herself.

And then just every plotline / character will just be slightly more mature and in depth. And it depends on how you see canon because the rewrite is going to be a mix the tv series + the books which vary a bit on canon. And then obviously a lot more queer representation.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that the epic winter arc is being disgraced but it’s going througu many changes. I’ll probably get ride of the whole through the woods concept because it doesn’t really add anything to the plot (although I am adding a musical that doesn’t really do anything for the plot except allow be to geek (theatre kid) out and give us some cute dizzie moments).

I really want to include her but I don’t think there’s going to be any room for Bella sister. Other things from canon that I’m not including is darise, Meeshell being a horrible singer, DARABELLA, Maddie having visions, the snow king, cupids crush on dexter, the revealer rays, probably lots more but I can’t think of them.

Onto the next question I definitely have some fic recs. I’ll probably make a separate post for it but my top 2 are rewrite ignite restart and a legacy of brambles and thorns.

I think the reason why I’m actually commuting to the rewrite is because it’s really the only eah fic I want to write since I plan to hopefully cover all the characters and ships I like. In my past fandoms I’ve had like 20 different fics I wanted to write but I never got a around to all or them.

Oh wait actually I guess I have one idea but I doubt I’ll ever write it since I want to focus on the rewrite. But during my transition stage from the mlb fandom to the eah I was thinking about an au. Either the eah characters with miraculous’s in the real world or mlb characters at ever after. 

Okay and for the last questions im assuming you’re asking which fairytales I’d like to 1. Be a part of 2. Don’t want to be a part of and I could stop it 3. Would have to run away from ?

1. When I was little I had the yearbook thing that had you create your own eah character and I always wanted to be a princess so I made myself goose girl

2. Definitely wouldn’t want to be like Jack in the beanstalk so I just wouldn’t take the beans

3. Sleeping beauty was my fav when I was younger so I definitely wouldn’t want to have Faybelles destiny. Or be an ugly sister, that would kill my self esteem (no wonder Bella and Brutta ran away)

For the last 3 questions I wasn’t sure if you were asking all abt me or if any were for my rewrite.

Let's do this (this is based of the show plot line bc I can't remember the book plot line and I don't even think Alistair and chase were in the books)

Ok so first how Alistair came to wonderland for a bit of background info

Heard sm1 say that smth bad was happening where he lived and his mother told him to follow a white bunny cuz she was the Alice before him

And blah blah blah he goes to wonderland and such but then he doesn't go back to where he came from bc of whatever bad is happening

I hc that he was from like our world so there's no magic from there

and he meets everyone in wonderland and becomes friends w Kitty, Maddie,Lizzie, bunny and chase

And probably at some point Alistair realizes he has feels for chase and most likely goes to Maddie to talk abt it

And Maddie is completely normal abt it cuz shit like this is normal in wonderland

but anyways when chase realizes he likes Alistair he goes to Lizzie and Lizzie is js like bro idk js ask him out?

Lmao so he does and Alistair is like gnskfbskfbns

And then they date

and they'll probably like middle school age when they start dating

(Bunny is js casually in a qpr w the rest of their wonderlandian friends (Lizzie, Maddie and Kitty))

And THEN

The land gets cursed by miss evil queen aka raven's mom lol

And the mad hatter, Lizzie , Maddie and Kitty escape

But bunny Alistair and chase don't

And the three of them basically js form a very close friendship (besides Alistair and chase) and help each other deal w their friends being gone

Alistair mostly comforts bunny when she's sad abt not being w her partners

And chase and Alistair help eachother get through it

And one day a few years later

bunny and Alistair are being the sillys that they are and exploring Wonderland for the 5th time that week

And they find the story book of legends and such, blah blah y'all know what happened w that and the Cheshire cat kitty's mom

And cue them trying to figure out ever after high bc this place is so weird

And people hitting on both Alistair and bunny and their oblivious asses js not noticing 😭😭

Anyways everyone thinks they're a couple bc even tho everyone in wonderland acts like that w their friends it's not normal in ever after

But bunny gets reunited w her partners:D

And now Alistair is separated from his

And they're co-dependant on eachother so neither of them take it well

I'm sorry ( no I'm not) but Alistair would 100% go off on headmaster grimm for being rude to him or any of his friends

Alistair is just going of at grimm with a bunch of wonderland cusses and our world cusses (lmao this is the real reason why grimm doesn't like Alistair)

But anyways

Alistair seeing darling and being like oh hi darling! 🥰 bc darling has 100% caught Alistair almost getting killed by some of the cards and helped him out lol

Anyways the rumors that bunny and Alistair are dating went away when Alistair mentioned his boyfriend and Maddie kissed bunny in the cafeteria lol

But then imagine w the wonderland episodes

They would probably go differently lol

w/ chase helping the girls bc that's his bsfs

alistair would be so happy to see chase again when raven broke the curse on wonderland

But anyways

They all lived happily ever after

Anyways

Alistair is a very fidgety person and also has anxiety and ADHD (and panic attacks)

And chase has sensory overloads and anxiety attacks (he has autism and anxiety)

(Cuz I said so got both of the last two bullets)

Alistair gives asexual vibes and probably js gay

And chase give demiromantic and maybe bi??? Idk

Chase is indecisive as fuck and Alistair is impulsive as fuck

They balance eachother out

Alistair rambles so much

And he doesn't think most of his friends listen

But then Chase will remember smth he said in a ramble a whil ago and alistair is ill js be like :D

Chase calls Alistair, Ali and he says he hates the nickname but he secretly loves it

Alistair is lalalala and chase is okokokok

Alistair gets sick so easily it's not even funny anymore

Chase takes care of him when he's sick

Alistair is the friend that has a bag w literally anything and everything in it

(Lizzie made it and Maddie somehow made it like her hat where you can take anything out of it)

Alistair is an introvert that acts like an extrovert and then he goes and hangs out w chase and is silent for like 3 hours as he recharges w his bf

They take naps together:) <3

Alistair steals chase's clothes bc chase is taller so they're rlly baggy on him and he likes that lol

Chase more often than not has earbuds or headphones on to block out noise

chase is the kind of person that you'd think would be rlly scary and then you see him curled up on a couch with Alistair and it's js like oh!

Also the kind of person that everyone things is homophobic and then it turns out he has a boyfriend

Alistair makes playlists for all his friends and has made so so many for chase lol

Alistair gives trans vibes tbh like ftm yk?

i haven’t recovered from the plot twist in the little red riding hood story from the grimm variations 🥴🥴 i only noticed the second time i watched that all the evidence that she was a red flag was literally lying around her room😭😭😭 articles of men’s clothing, shoes, belts, watches….it was right in our faces and yet i didn’t notice until it was too late — just like gray 💀💀💀💀😩😩😩

Wild Mountain Honey (WIP): More self-indulgent goodness centered around a bear shifter named Orson, the small mountain town he calls home, and his love interest Jia, a burnt out big city lawyer who's inexplicably attracted to Orson's big appetite. This is still in its early development stages, but the eventual goal is more or less kinky supernatural romance meets Hallmark movie. Set in the same universe as AMOM.

Kinky Blorbo Micro Manifestos

Ask me about any of these if you want exuberant infodumps and hyperspecific headcanons. Pretty much all of these have at least one back-burner plot bunny attached to them.

John Pope and Sara from Falling Skies: Pope is my blorbo to end all blorbos, the bright star on my horizon, my #1 t-kiss F/O. Sara is his kick-ass girlfriend, one of my favorite female characters ever, and someone I'm working up the courage to also make my t-kiss F/O. He's a trigger-happy berserker who's also a chef and eats more times on-camera than anyone else on the show, she's a plucky former graphic designer who asked him for Pringles at gunpoint—need I say more?

Nick Burkhardt and Sean Renard from Grimm (TV): The stars of the first kinky fanfic I ever felt brave enough to actually post online (which I will continue Someday™). I low-key ship them and Adalind in a kinky OT3. Sean x Cheesecake 4ever (based on an outtake that would've been memed in a larger fandom).

Pete Latimer and Myka Bering from Warehouse 13: This show is best known for its amazing and tragically non-canon femslash ship, Bering and Wells, but y'all, we are sleeping on Pete. He had as much kinky canon material (proportionally at least) as a certain gruff-voiced monster-hunter, right down to a signature favorite dessert, and he may have his flaws but his masculinity is a hell of a lot healthier overall. Meanwhile, Myka is a canonical stress eater with a canonical sweet tooth and a canonical best friend/partner (Pete) who's always trying to get her to relax. Pyka was queerplatonic and I will die on that hill.

Batman/Bruce Wayne and Catwoman/Selina Kyle from Batman: The Animated Series: I've had a long-time crush on TAS Batman, and tummying him is the inevitable result of that. It's practically canon that BatCat is some flavor of kinky, so Selina talking Bruce into self-care via feedism doesn't seem like much of a stretch to me. I'm also 100% down for kinky WonderBat and/or WonderBatCat.

The Leverage OT3 (Eliot Spencer, Alec Hardison, and Parker): I'm still working my way past season one, but I have already made it my life's sidequest to believably tummy these three in various ways. Eliot's a hobbyist chef in desperate need of R&R, Hardison's hacker snacking provides endless windows of opportunity, and Parker has a major sweet tooth and zero inhibitions.

Flip from Slumberland (2022): Y'all. Y'all. I am feral over this man. A goofy outlaw and reluctant father played by Jason Momoa with fangs and a clingy T-shirt who carries snacks in his pockets and spends half the movie touching his belly is illegally tailored to my interests. Also the movie was hilarious and adorable and gave me feels and you should watch it.

You know the game expressly stated the union guy was forced into working for the bad guy right? Yeah the cutscenes really don’t match that but I chock that up to being a terrible attempt at a fake out

Really the entire story feels off like you said, so I don’t think it was intentional

Also saying the white fang “demonizes the civil rights movement” is disingenuous but that’s another conversation

Normally I do not respond to asks like this, but I'm gonna break my rule just this once...because I would much rather live in a universe where I was simply mistaken about Hanlon Fifestone than live in a universe where Rooster Teeth deliberately made up a character with such atrocious implications.

...I don't, actually. ^^; I don't remember that at all...if he was, I'm curious to know what Thornmane used as leverage?? Because if he had something so horrible to threaten Fifestone with that he went, "y'know what, even though I'm normally a nice guy, stealing people's emotions and murdering them with Grimm hordes is probably the best course of action here" I feel like I would have...noticed that...

You're absolutely right-- Fifestone's introductory scene where he berates the poor bunny girl for her 'failures', yanks her up by her wrist and smiles evilly at her while he draws the fear out of her terrified eyes-- that does NOT match up with a character who is being forced to do bad things against his will.

And y'know, I think if the "mismatch" is that blatant, you should probably just go ahead and assume intent. ಠಿ_ಠ As far as I know, RT was responsible for all the animated cutscenes, and if they didn't want Fifestone to look like a bad person they wouldn't have put that one there.

Or the cutscene where he activates the next set of Grimm-attractor orbs (even though he's already being arrested and could easily just STOP if he really wanted to).

Or the cutscene where Ironwood literally mentions "corruption on both sides" (implying that Glass represents that of the rich, and Fifestone represents that of the poor).

Am I REALLY supposed to assume all of that was just an accident...?? Like, either I somehow completely missed some key aspect of the plot (and again, if I did I'd genuinely like to know what it was) or the obvious answer is the right one and the union leader behaves like a villain because he IS a villain, and that is what RT wanted.

I have GOTTA write the last leg of the Knorth twins identity nonsense quadrangle, and the whole Nightmare War epic crossover event, and Honor Guard: Origins fic for Brier (Iron Thorn) and Medic (Kindrie, though really the fic would be about Tieri), and When Blackbird Came Out To His Team About Being A Knorth (and either Harn or Rowan promptly paid the other $20 because they'd had a bet going about when he'd 'fess up). And!! the fic about Ashe (Singer) going about her day, stopping crime and trying to write a good epic poem about her own death, struggling around the geas laid on her not to speak of how she was resurrected, all expressed in image descriptions of someone's favorite pages of the imaginary comic book...

I know the Beauty and the Beast au is more yours to write but god I love the Beauty and the Beast AU. The Kindrie of it all. The misunderstanding wherein he thinks she's Jamethiel Dream-weaver herself. Iconic.

Random Grimm!Jaune Plot Bunny

In which Merlot, in his research of Grimm, manages to unearth the truth about Salem and undergoes a quest to find people descended from her lineage (whether Human or Faunus matters not to him). Or barring that, trying to infuse Grimm essence into human and faunus in order to create Grimm-Bloods, since the existence of Salem has shown that it is indeed theoretically possible. Salem for her part, finds out about this, and rather than make him stop; instead sends Arthur Watts to aid and assist Merlot while also tasking him with documenting all the experiments and discoveries Merlot has made. Especially since Merlot and Salem appear to be on the same wavelength in regards to the Brother Gods and how they (humans and faunus) could be better off without them (in Salem’s case, she used to believe this in the past, but now she seeks death. However, if Merlot’s experiments end up successful, they could theoretically create a being that could hold the potential to destroy the gods, which could also, by extension, undo Salem’s curse.) One of the things Salem has sent to Merlot via Watts is a lock of her hair for Merlot to study, which ends granting Merlot the breakthrough needed to create a device that can actually detect dormant Grimm essence within people. Cue Merlot’s joy and Salem’s astonishment in finding out that (during the events of Grimm Eclipse) there were not one, not two, but three dormant natural Grimm-Bloods (Jaune, Weiss and Pyrrha) with Jaune causing the single greatest reaction out of the device Merlot had ever seen. Cue Merlot’s plot to awaken Jaune’s Grimm-Blood and, by extension, using said awakening to agitate the other two’s Grimm-Blood into awakening as well. As far as Merlot was concerned, this would be the day all of his research and theories would be vindicated. Here are some songs to create ambience:
