I want to write many many many things but I don’t know where to start, so I end up doing nothing 😭😭

#like I have two fics incomplete #but I really really want to finish the one which is a character study about Mike #like i love this idea that I am writing #but anyway I also want to write like two analysis about Mike #and I haven’t finished the second part of my heart motif analysis #well the first part flopped so I wasn’t that motivated #and this is only about fandom related #i also want to write this short novel with time travel that I have planned since years ago #i commented it with my gf and she was so excited and said it was a brilliant idea that I should continue it #idk I wanted to retake it #the other story I have in mind I was planning to write a novel but maybe I will write scripts #I visualize it as a miniseries #I hope one day I could direct and produce #soñar es gratis #and then I have to keep working in this saga and and and #it’s too much to write and I don’t know what to do #because I work with one thing and then I start to think in another idea or that I should work in my other writing #i hate my life

fam…. wow, what a year.

in the summer, i went to karlie’s birthday show, and on the way back i stopped through santa monica and pacific palisades just to soak in the rich kid ambiance, and well, no, actually, i wanted to check out jennifer meyer! because, well, idk. inspiration struck. it’s such a fun kaylorverse brand! and i thought, if enamored enough, i might be convinced into buying a tiny heart ring or charm or something, but they had just gotten in one of something recently and when i saw it i immediately knew i would be talked into it.

…so i picked up this tiny necklace from jen meyer. for obvious reasons.. i couldn’t help it! it spoke to me!!

fast forward to a handful of weeks later and taylor is… wearing evil eye jewelry! several pieces! more than several pieces!! even an evil eye stud!! and i come to deduce later on that the first time she wore the bracelet was the day before karlie’s birthday concert. which is a true coincidence that i love, because, it’s the day @taylorrepdetective and i happened to arrive in LA. and so today, reflecting on the eye theory as i do, i was thinking today about how my life changed shape, because of all of these things.

for april 18th is, as you may know, eye theory day! the day @swift-79 and i finalized and i posted the og eye theory post, back in 2019. also known as the eyepocalypse, discovereye, the start of many things.

today marks the four five year anniversary. it’s pretty wild that we’re still kickin it five years in! and it’s become a sort of tradition for me where i like to post a little something personal in honor of the day. so allow me to continue this one gratis.

second part of my story is that a little over a year ago now, i went to opening night of the eras tour with @theprologues and the day after the concert, on my way back, i stopped through scottsdale and walked through all the boutique shops and souvenir shops and picked up a trinket. a ring that called out to me, for…obvious reasons.

i mean, how could i not?? to commemorate a wonderful trip to meet a dear friend, and for all the eye theory things that happened on opening night!

and it’s been a year since then and i’m one of those people that just doesn’t take jewelry off, so it’s been on my finger for all this time. it was a snug fit, and silver, so it both wasn’t coming off easily and wouldn’t be leaving a green ring on my hand or anything, so i have kept it there. for a little over a year now.

but the other day someone was asking me about it. and i was like oh, i got this in arizona and so i went to adjust it to show it off because the center stone was off to the side and when i twisted it i noticed a mark on my finger, an indent, for having worn it so long.. and i sorta laughed to myself because, you know, there is an indentation. in the shape of an eye.

so i decided to take the thing off for a sec and let my finger breathe and so i take off the ring and notice— the shape of the ring has changed.

what once was centered, has now fully to morphed and warped the right side. 🙈🙈 c’est la vie.

i only write this out to say that, it had me thinking. about all the fun we had for this fourth turn around the theory, all the dear friends i have met, all the tour outfits, the accessories and merch?!… all of the little connections we have made over this… thing 😆 it had me thinking about how there are always going to be these fun little moments in life where the universe winks at you and, and how if you can manage it, it’s a charmed way to live, really. reminded me of the time i lost karlie’s gem on my swarovski evil eye bracelet at rep tour tokyo! that is to say, when the going gets tough, it can still be fun. if you work to give yourself permission. as one might say…there are cathedrals everywhere for those with the eyes to see 🥴

it didn’t really occur to me until this week just how close the release date is to the eye theory anniversareye ☺️ and i’m not sure what this countdown is for but it’s running out so close to when the op was posted five years ago so i decided to post around now :) not to say any of it was anything more than accidental. but hey, laughter is the best medicine, is it not?

so omnom, i say! omnom!

and so today, on ts11 album release eve,

i implore all of you (and myself) to open our hearts juuust a crack,

and keep on the lookout for the gold nuggets that are going to be there. assume taylor will perjure herself a bit during this trial, relax, allow yourself the enjoy what we get, like nobody else truly can.

characters Yujiro and Oliver are definitely rich and afford luxuries, so they probably look surprised and confused at their s/o who buys some minimal food or clothes for themselves or just enough to get by. And they literally give their wage card and take their partner by the hand to the top quality merchandise store. For God's sake, I'd then quietly pay my tuition and get all my teeth fixed at the dentist

It's what I say!

I could afford my entire higher education with a measly part of their entire fortune, and I'd bet I'd be the least of their worries.

Oliva literally has one of the largest nations in the world under his thumb and therefore his economic capacity is just as great. Oliva won't mind spending his money on his partner, that man would give his whole life to make his partner happy, spending his money is small in comparison. Trips to paradisaical places, expensive gifts, dinners in expensive restaurants, a lot of clothes, health service coverage and academic services, etc. You just have to ask and Oliva will make it happen. When you want something, he's already pulling his credit card out of his pocket; My God, he would give you his credit card to spend as much as your heart desires, he will insist if you are demure, why settle for just enough to live on when you have the chance to have everything you could want?

In the case of Yujiro, I really believe with all the fervor of my heart that this man has free things just for being him, there are no limitations; A complete stay in a luxury hotel, dinners in the greatest places, meetings with the most influential people in the world, the most expensive items that money can buy and even if money can't buy it. His mere presence imposes and no one can say 'no' to any of his demands, nor is there anyone who wants to. Since you're his partner, you're just enjoying the ogre privilege; People will give you and do what you want to not be in Yujiro's sights. Yujiro looks at you as if you've grown a second head when you admit that you buy the bare necessities or how you try to make ends meet on your salary, you're kidding right? Well not anymore, he will pay for your whole life just because he can. And because he maybe he loves you in some way.

Sampo wants to change your mind... Quick Note: I headcanon that Sampo is part of the Masked Fools due to a certain scene at the -end- of Belobog’s story arc. If you don’t know the Masked Fools, they are simply a group that worship Aha, live hedonistic lifestyles, and do not take life seriously. Their antithesis is the faction known as the Mourning Actors that denounce Aha - even though he technically pays their cab fare… (I’m not kidding. Aha is wild.)

   

Today is a good day. 

You are two weeks, five days, and however many hours and minutes in turning over a new leaf. No more bar-hopping in a harlequin mask with your ludicrous companions. No more instigating lovers’ tiffs or silver lining happy endings for an easy laugh. No more taking action just for the shiggles.      

It’s a huge deal to leave your old life behind, but you’ve made your peace. After some very careful deliberation (over a few minty cocktails mixed with tears of frustration), you finally knew what you wanted. The path of the Elation simply wasn’t for you.

Now, if only your friend would simply accept that, then life would get a whole lot easier for you. He managed to catch you in the alley just behind the tavern. You had hoped to slip by unnoticed, but clearly there happens to be some snitches among the Masked Fools. 

“Come now. I leave for Jarilo VI for a few months and end up coming back to this?” he whines as he strides up to you with palms open in disappointment. 

Sampo pouts at you as if he’s been told that he had to work gratis. 

“Before you ask, I heard from the others. Be straight with me. You’re not serious about this, right?” he asks conspiratorially as if trying to get in on the joke before everyone else, “Just another one of your good ol’ switcheroos? It’s not like this would be the first time.” 

He tilts his head at you with mock innocence. His bangs swing while trying to peer into your face.

This is a common tactic of his.

You avoid staring at him as you know how this works. This isn’t the first time you’ve tried leaving the Masked Fools. As a follower of the Aeon of Nihility once said, ‘You may gaze deep into the vast grandeur of the stars, but do not glance at the abyss of the void... for it holds nothing except for the ability to make mortals lose all reason and thought.’ 

This pretty much summed up exactly what would happen every time you eyed the smooth-talking merchant for even one second too long. It’s no wonder he chose Nihility of all things.

At your silence, Sampo continues speaking with what sounds like a friendly voice of concern, “Hey… Think about this. A Pathstrider changing their paths is one thing. But transitioning from one of us to a Mourning Actor of all things? You?”  

His tone nearly tricks you into thinking that he might have genuinely felt a sense of imminent worry. Though on that last few words, despite his best effort, his voice cracked.  

You can’t help it. You look.

As expected, Sampo’s face is not nearly as distraught as he tried to make himself sound. Instead, he fights off an amused smile to no avail. His cheeks slightly puff as he half-heartedly resists the urge to laugh. He raises his gloved hand, pressing against his curving mouth just as a few choked laughs manage to escape regardless. 

Those emerald eyes of his shine with unwavering amusement as if you are his favorite stage act. To him, this is probably another one of your infamous long con pranks. 

Which is an entirely fair assumption… 

You are quite the mischief maker. 

Were.

You were quite the mischief maker. New leaf. Turning. Right. Focus.

Of course, your hedonistic brain much rather focus on his towering height, broad shoulders, and alluring cologne… 

Focus!

“Yes, me,” you reply with practiced calm while not engaging in his puerile behavior, “I’ve done my time as a part of the Masked Fools. The World’s End Tavern will be fine without me. Besides, it’s time for a change.”

Silence befalls the two of you. 

The mirth in his face dampens slightly, yet he somehow manages to keep that signature pearly white smile of his.  

“Please, you expect me to believe that you’ve already forgotten just what kind of people the Mourning Actors are? The morose life they live? They’re a stick in the mud! Every last one of them. And-” he proclaimed while stepping forward to lean a bit just to gently boop you on the nose, “-you’re no stick in the mud.” 

He then planted his hands on his hips as if he made the most compelling argument of all time. In his head, it seemed that not even Nous the Erudition would be able to refute it. 

“You’re too fun,” Sampo adds with playful finality.  

He looks so excited and proud of his ridiculous reasoning that you can’t help but start to already feel nostalgic. After all, joining the Mourning Actors meant that you couldn’t see Sampo anymore. They fiercely denounce Aha whereas the Masked Fools exalt Aha. 

There’s no middle ground to be had here.  

“A very eloquent argument, Koski,” you finally say with a light shrug while not meeting his eyes. 

If Sampo had dog ears and a tail, they would be perking up right about now by how elated he looked. It seemed to him that you were relenting to his wise judgment. 

“Perfect! Now let’s head back. I heard they’re doing half off on mimosas!” he tells you excitedly before making off for the direction of the World’s End tavern only to quickly notice your footfalls weren’t behind him. 

He turns around to see you still planted in place with your gaze off to the side.   

“Hmph. Still not convinced though, huh?” Sampo says with an odd sense of calm that you’re not used to seeing him have. 

He nears you with a thoughtful look. You stare back, uncertain as to what he might be scheming. A composed Sampo is a rather disconcerting sight… yet not unwelcome. You thought he only had three modes: goofy, flirty, and whiny. 

This was… very different. 

For a moment, you felt your heart waver.  

“Hmm… Should I do the lean then?” he offers with a suggestive raise of his brow coupled with a smirk.

As Sampo asks this, he’s already committing the action of leaning forward with his hand outstretched to plant his hand on the brick wall behind you. He’s definitely using that specialty haircut of his to his full advantage. The long bangs veil a single eye, leaving you under the undeniable smolder of the other.

He smiles with his mouth upturning more on the right before biting his lower lip with a slow pull as he continues to peer down at you. 

“Well?” he asks with his voice dropping into a full bewitchment mode, “How’s this?” 

Sampo leans even closer, completely encroaching into your personal space to the point that you feel the air tightening. 

“Still thinking of leaving?” 

His gaze flicks down to your lips, knowing full well you can tell. They lift back to you as if in question. Though you can’t even remember what the original question was anymore. 

Damn.

He got you. 

You stared too long into the pretty abyss again. 

Now there was no getting out until he chose to go offworld again. 

“Ha… I guess I better luck next time…” you concede slowly while eyeing him closing in for that final descent. 

“Mm. Or not,” Sampo teases slyly with hooded eyes just before stealing your soul once again through a kiss that cannot be described in mere words… 

This isn’t your first kiss with him… but these ones are different than what he usually does. 

You can typically withstand the regular type. 

But here… his fingers dig deep through your scalp while his other hand grasps around the side of your neck. His thumb guides your chin upwards, placing you in a vulnerable position for his ‘treatment’ thanks to your sudden willfulness to defect to the other side.

“Mm!” 

You strain your senses as his hands start to travel, making every pleasure nerve fire up, unable to stifle the desperation of the starving hedonist inside of you.  

It doesn’t help that Sampo has a way of shoving so many sensations at you that your brain proceeds to short-circuit. Your natural instinct is to go with the flow. It’s what made partying with the Elation so much fun. 

You can hear him chuckle over you in appreciation of your lack of resistance as he presses you further against the wall, keeping you in place as he carries on with a more... persuasive argument. 

‘You’re not going anywhere’ is what it really means. 

It’s what it always means. 

Oh well.

Sea do you remember your firsts thoughts after listening FITF for the first time?

I’ll describe a couple of moments in Louis’ solo career that I remember clearly (as a solo Louie).

First was hearing the Walls songs at CCME in Spain in 2019. The Tumblr solo Louie community was strong back then. I was watching the concert and I tell you, I couldn’t believe the songs I heard. Louis might not like these songs (because he thinks they’re too “pop” and a bit of a cop-out), but they expressed some real, raw, bloody emotions, some personal issues like he talked about in AOTV in a pure and unfiltered form.

These songs were confessional and cathartic at the same time, the thoughts of a young man put through a tumultuous period of life, and Louis told it like it was, no varnish, no ambiguity, no poetry, no filter. When I tell you I cried listening to him— from sheer joy and relief, that this was Louis and no one else, his patience, his depth of feeling, his kindness, his wit and heart.

The performance was imperfect, and Louis was shaking from nervousness, but he did it.

When Walls came out, I listened from beginning to end in one sitting. The album was everything I could have hoped for. It was near-perfection. The only criticisms I have were 1. Perfect Now, and 2. Album was too short.

I did listen to the FITF leaked songs (justice for the leaked Lucky Again, a far superior version to the current album version). The thing about Louis is that he is always going to surprise us. I wasn’t quite sure about The Greatest vibes (a song in a minor key to open a concert?), and initially I really wasn’t a fan of Face The Music or Angels Fly.

FITF is a stronger album than Walls, more cohesive in theme and production (Walls was made over three years), with a clearer focus on genre, but I really loved the courage of Walls, the way Louis stepped into the unknown, knowing that Niall, Harry, and Zayn already had big first and second albums and knowing there was zero support for Louis’ own first album, that it wouldn’t be promoted or played on radio, that his tour was completely on him, his magnetism, his charisma, the strength of his musicianship (which he had always doubted).

I’ll mention one other moment that I will always remember, which was the first time I heard Bigger Than Me in full.

This song is THE big song of FITF; nothing comes close in ambition and concept. It was a beautiful way to start album promo. BTM is a very Louis song, too, full of nostalgia, humility, and love for our shared humanity, the way people come together when we put our egos aside. Think of the causes that Louis championed during the Covid pandemic, his tweets, the charities he promoted, the London Livestream, the first AFHF which was given gratis, and you’ll understand why Bigger Than Me is the essence of Louis and why it’s the core of FITF.

The song totally bangs. His voice is the quintessential Louis tenor showcase, incomparable.

This is why, even though there are always irritating things about Louis’ fandom, it’s impossible not to love this man.

"Sharing Gratitude With  the Unbearable!

Wisdom is radiant and unfading, and she is easily discerned by those who love her and is found by those who seek her. 13 She hastens to make herself known to those who desire her. 14 One who rises early to seek her will have no difficulty, for she will be found sitting at the gate. 15 To fix one’s thought on her is perfect understanding, and one who is vigilant on her account will soon be free from care, 16 because she goes about seeking those worthy of her, and she graciously appears to them in their paths and meets them in every thought.

We breathe in gratitude, and we breathe it out, too.. Once we learn how to do that, then we can bear someone who is unbearable. One of my go-to mystics, Rumi said: "There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground,"  and giving gratitude to one who is barely bearable is one of the best.

One saint on this day who bears witness to gratitude of the unbearable is Martin of Tours.

He was a non-Roman, entering the army of Rome, and then in his moment of conversion repeated these words:

"Now let me fight for God. As for your bonus, let someone who is going to join the battle receive it. I am a soldier of Christ-combat is not permitted me." "In the name of the Lord Jesus and protected only by the sign of the cross, without shield or helmet, I shall penetrate the enemy's ranks and not be afraid."

He was our first "conscientious objector, one who in gratitude to God for human life continued to support the army, but chose not to bear arms. He continued later in life as a grateful person serving as priest and bishop always giving to everyone.

St. Martin bore the unbearable of rejection, hate,and criticism, yet he continued to live his beliefs and bear the unbearable.

Cale in the photo above was one of the first  youth I came into contact with as I began doing outreach. He was from a home where he was rejected. He became a sex worker, homeless, and died of age.

I cared for Cale, yet he was very unbearable in the sense he hit,  told lies, and way out stories about me. He was unbearable, yet I served and loved him. Giving gratitude is not fun most of the time!  But giving Gratitude for me is life giving!

Gratitude is opening our lives to the unbearable, gratitude is entering into the undesirability of others. Their is pain, yet joy, for we come to know we are all unbearable at times and God loves us with all of Her/His heart!

Give Gratitude to the Unbearable!

Robert B. Parker’s Bad Influence by Alison Gaylin brings to life his character Sunny Randall.  Those who have read Gaylin in the past know she loves to have twisted endings that are very intense.  This story is not any different as she takes readers on a roller coaster ride. 

“I have been a longtime fan of the Robert B. Parker books, although I did not read any of the Sunny books. I was offered to write twenty pages and thought this is a terrific opportunity. I had this idea regarding influencers.  A month later I heard I got the job and will be writing a second book. :  I tried to stay as loyal to Parker as I best I could.  His style is different than my style with more dialogue, shorter chapters, and I have a little more internal dialogue. I did try to make it as “Parkeresque��� as I could.  All the supporting characters of his was like being given a toolbox to make some furniture. There is her good friend Spike, her father, her ex-husband Ritchie, his mob dad, and her dog Rosie. Parker books had more humor than I usually put but I wrote more intensity, especially at the end.”

In this story Gaylin includes many of Sunny’s supporting characters and attempts to bring her into the modern world.  Bethany Rose hires Sunny to protect one of the most popular influencer couples.  She offers the services of her influencer couple, Blake James, and Alena Jade, to help Sunny’s BFF Spike gain new customers for his bar and restaurant. Bethany is willing to do it on gratis if Sunny finds out who is sending threatening messages to the couple. 

Sunny must come to terms with social media as she tries to figure out who is the stalker. The problem is she must get up to speed because she did not use any online forums.  Now she uses it as a tool to research her clients.  She is trying to understand how people can base their entire careers on letting strangers into their personal lives.

“I find the world of influencers fascinating because I see them as a con.  Everything is filtered and photoshopped.  They have created a character of who they hope to be, not who they are. The goal is to be aspirational, not real. There is an element of artificiality. I thought how Sunny as a single woman in her late thirties she would have a social media imprint. But she does not, and I wondered why.  Although she does find it fascinating. I think she wonders if followers have a mind of their own and maybe thinks of influencers as the modern-day commercials/advertisements.  The influencers are getting paid with a lot of free products. Commercials have lost their power because people fast-forward them, so influencers have taken their place. They have a whole different level of fame.”

She can be stubborn at times and is trying to figure out where she stands emotionally. I wrote Sunny as funny, tough, smart, strong, loyal, but vulnerable. She never let’s go of relationships.  She had this dog Rosie who passed away and she got the same kind of dog and named it the same. She does not love change very much. She has been divorced from her ex-husband for years but still has feelings for him and they still maintain a relationship. Sunny is a solid person. In her profession as a private investigator, she is reckless, observant, and calm. She is in her late thirties. She is very good with a gun.”

This mystery/thriller is riveting, and the readers also can learn about the world of influencers, which makes the story even more fascinating.
