nah it's not from anything, a space before an exclamation mark just feels nicer to me ! sometimes i feel like an exclamation point immediately after the word can feel maybe mean? a standalone exclamation mark is a clear indicator of excitement :] and a space before a period is kind of a stand in for this emoji 🧍
