I don’t have too too much to say about this guy other than I finally got over my reservations on giving these furies markings, which means I may revisit the others. There will eventually be a lineup of all of them which I am so hype for. Also in case you couldn’t tell this was extremely shark-inspired (gws is Great White Shark). As always feel free to give me critiques, the feedback I’ve gotten thus far has been absolutely delightful and has helped me improve on my ability to make these guys in a way that makes some sense biologically.

DND Race inspired SPR fan species part 1:

Accentas

(DND Race Inspo: Kenku)

Dark feathers, white chest markings consisting of a brace and a repeating bar to make it look like they're in a suit, decrescendo marked beaks, eighth rest legs, and shiny white stones that they collected to adorn their feather "dress"/"tail coat"

Accentas are one of the two cousins(aka Being a part of the same family in the scientific categorizing sense) of the Harmonians. Being more avian than angelic, like their cousins, the Fortans. Unlike the two species it evolved with, Accentas can't talk outside of parroting the phrases they've heard and they also can't fly due to not evolving wings. Though they circumvent this by using instruments to communicate and living in places where they don't need to fly.

Natural environment:

While you can technically find these anywhere like any other sentient species of Paper Robloxia, you can find the most Accentas in the lower parts of the musical regions. This includes the caves below the musical regions for half of the population of the species. Just really anywhere it's already accessible for ground bound species or can be made accessible for ground bound species.

Communication:

While they can't speak and can only mimic phrases they've heard, mimicking the voice perfectly, they do have a "spoken" language. This language is called Sonette and is only "spoken" through the use of instruments. Basically in the early years of the population, a group of elder Accentas got together and decided to assign words, letters, phrases, and numbers to different "up beats and down beats"/measures. To not have to rely on trying to piece together different phrases hoping they have heard the right phrases to say what they mean. this ended up being passed through generations until it got so popular form of communication to where they have it in their schools, and other schools(where it isn't mostly Accentas) have it as a extra secondary language class. Along with the species being nicknamed the "Conductors" with their way of teaching others the language.

It can be tricky for non Accentas to get the hang of, especially the non musical species. Thou the species is rather understanding of new learners, because not only are you mastering a language, but you're also mastering an instrument if you haven't already.

They also have a writen "language", but this is like how they communicate through phrases. They just cut and connected different letters from different languages they've read to create a jumbled mess of what they wanted to write out. So to understand it, you kinda need to know pretty much most of the languages of Paper Robloxia. This written "language" is often compared to the language the red teapot character speaks.

Religion:

While all of Paper Robloxia is pretty much Polytheism, Accentas are technically both Polytheism and Monotheism. They do believe in the other gods and Duskkar, but they believe that the Great Mother Bird(the "mother" of the gods from the old world) will rise from death and become the one true god again.

Creating statues of this giant origami swan that adorns the center of their cities and their churches, modeling their instruments around parts of the great mother bird(like guitars being modeled in the shape of her wings), and dedicating most of their festivals to said mother bird. They are technically the most religious species, a bit ironic considering there are two species that are angels and demons respectfully.

Reproduction(eggs):

This species, along with its other feathery cousins, reproduce via eggs. Thou the eggs aren't formed via intercourse. While they and their cousin species do have privates that they didn't evolve out, those are only used for pleasure (this wasn't evolved out because of the rise of the Beast of Lust). How they actually reproduce is with a love song that has been established to be the only song to have the effect of egg creation. (It's also effective in the more furry musical species, but this is more about the feathered musical species) This song when translated is named "Love Bounds". which was originally about two lovers from different realms falling in love, the two rising and falling respectively, and becoming wedlock in the middle once they find each other. This IS based off a true story and was written and originally sung by the people in the story.

Once it was discovered that this was how the species reproduced, it was quickly translated and spread across the different musical species. Though unlike the rest of the species, since the Accentas can't really talk of sing, they of course use their instruments. Basically; a mature adult that can make the egg and a mature adult that can provide half the genes of the egg got to play the song. once the song starts visible music notes come from the two's instruments based on the part they play, whole notes for the one that can make the egg and quarter notes for the one that provides half of the genes of the egg. Once one of each touches, the next morning, the egg layer will wake up with a shelled egg in their pouch(where the feather "dress" starts)

Aging:

They pretty much age the same as Harmonians, except due to their flightless bodies, they ended up maturing faster due to how they were easy prey in the past. Where they weren't really able to survive past ~40. So their start of adulthood is ~40 even after they stop becoming prey, compared to Harmonians' adulthood starting at ~60

cirt amberhusk (dirk, he/him) is a husk who decided to seek out more knowledge than he knew he could handle. it's all he spends his time doing, isolating himself even from other husks. he's fascinated with the world. one of his secrets is that he'd love to meet a floron one day and learn their history as well.

Not me making a star trek ds9 species so wierd and antisocial to others, with just autistic traits

It's a telepathic hive mind like species very similar in behavior to fungi colonies, that talks exclusively through thought, experiences and feelings. They do not have languages or know what body language is, since their bodies are mostly underground in sphere like form, connected to each other with "limbs"

They are a shape shift like form of life, they can absorb other lifeforms "data" - their biological footprint, and so they can imitate said lifeform, even though they may not understand them or how they behave

This is where our protagonist comes in, a research group lands on their planet and stumbles upon one of the colonies, literally... One of the research group members doesn't look where they're walking and so our offspring, in an act of self defense, "attacks" them (just weaves its limbs around their ankles so they wouldn't step on it). In this act they absorb some of the person's data and shift in the form that resembles human, that needs to be said that, with so little contact, not a lot of data has bee absorbed and humans are pretty complicated and alien creatures to it

I won't write the whole story there (mostly because it's not yet written) but it comes down to the offspring being taken on the spaceship (willingly) and transported to the ds9 where it will live and learn and teach and experience everything it can

I'm actually so invested in this and can't wait to see what my brain will spit out next :D

The autism in this comes in the unfamiliarity of offspring itself to others and from how the offspring has to navigate the world where everyone expect you to talk and behave a certain way, even if you're not used to it and frankly uncomfortable doing

Rhanek is the husband of Viiveh YEARS in the future. He's a very large blueblood that was once a bookish nerd, but got forcibly drafted into the Alternian military. They erased his old self and molded him into a perfect soldier, so once he finally got away from the military he couldn't remember his old life anymore, all he had was his military experience. So he became a bodyguard, putting his skills to good use. He eventually crosses paths with Viiveh who is trying to run from the Condesce and offers to protect him, and they eventually hit it off <3

Atroxx lives in a swamp full of boiling tar, lurking in the dark and serving as something of a dark legend to the locals. They fear her and often leave her sacrifices, believing her to be a monster or some sort of demon. She just likes getting free things out of it and sometimes toys with the minds those who wander a little too far out of the torchlight, taunting them from within the darkness. If you survive an encounter with her, she's not very eloquent, and is quite stubborn and impatient, unpredictable and almost wild in behavior. She is also, however, incredibly resourceful and clever.

One of the most brilliant, anxiety ridden queens on her whole planet. She’s so paranoid that she has a backup plan for just about anything. She predicted the world was going to end via meteors and had a ship fully ready to go for several years, and had a mental breakdown when she ended up being right. Overthinking is her strongest skill, making plans for her plans just in case something she didn’t think of happened. Her ship, despite being made of old and ruined tech, is so heavily equipped with safety features that she should probably be in charge of OSHA because ain’t no one getting hurt on that thing. Would go outside in a hamster bubble.

Baxtin used to be part of a semi-popular lowblood boyband called Sequence, though they fell out of popularity and while they aren't officially broken up... It's been a couple sweeps since they toured or even met up. Instead Baxtin spends his nights farming melons and gourds from seeds he kinda just found and decided to cultivate. Luckily his lusus, Timber, loves them. Timber is a huge south alternian longhorn bull and has cartoon physics for no known reason. He is actively a problem for the resident of Baxtin's town. This is upsetting for Baxtin cause he's incredibly socially anxious and scared of... well everything. He tends to be very spacey and doesn't listen to retain things very well outside of his music, but he's got major artistic blockage atm. His neighbor and best friend Vivsy keeps him grounded, though they don't see eye to eye very often (mostly on Vivisy's side- and not cause he's shorter!!)

Rudy is a 21 y/o guy(?) who lives in the small town of Junebug. he lives with his 2 moms and service dog and is dating his childhood best friend. he works at the local library and is all around seen as a nice, albeit introverted, boy. but... his true passion lies on the Internet, where he boasts a kinda-small but kinda-big youtube subscriber count. his main claim 2 fame are his MLP:FIM reviews, which are as opinionated as you'd expect but a bit more positive than most bronies at the time. the other half of his content consists of delving into lost media. (which happens to be his second important special interest. the first is mlp g4) Other interests include internet archival, html coding, piracy, and DOOM. 

online/in videos rudy presents himself as sarcastic, quick to yell at inconsistencies, and Very emotional at times. in reality he definitely is all of those things but dialed down a ton. he's sensitive to rejection and very hard on himself because of that. he hates when people complain about the things he likes and takes lots of shit that doesnt have anything to do with him personally (thats the anxiety talking) he's been hit with the ol' depression + GAD + autism combo so his life can be a living hell sometimes, but his girlfriend and dog help calm him down when he's stressed. there's  also some toxic masculinity + gender crisis going on in that brain of his but  he'd rather die than admit any of that. even though he has all these negative traits, he's helpful in his community (online and irl) and affectionate towards the closer people in his life. most people just dont see that side of him.

Chylia is a hemoanonymous limeblood troll (dancestor ghost) who is great with survival and fighting thanks to the sabertooth lusus that miraculously saved her from culling. She's very competent and was the only member of her Sgrub team to reach god tier. But they also take themself too seriously in such a way that they wind back to being silly! Like half of the things they do are for the aesthetic, to be honest. They wear a dramatic black mask and cape, and they use a giant machine gun to feel powerful and edgy. They used to dye their hair fully black, but now they partially dye it so the white roots can be partially seen. Chylia is a total edgelord and I love her and I hope you do too after reading this!

Zalium is a rogue fuchsiablood who was raised by an axolotl lusus away from the prying eyes of the alternian empire. eventually he was able to find community in the lower bloodcastes of alternia and here he learned about alternian history from a true perspective.

he gathered an aliance, heavily inspired by the sufferer's rebellion, and rises up against the empire. being a highblood he held a greater chance against the empress and gl'bgolyb, and after a strenuous battle he manages to take down the horrorterror and the empress in turn

Shafan has been around since 2015, making friends in the tumblr ftc! They're a Brer Rabbit pastiche, a laid back traveling musician, trickster and occasional smuggler, and they love nothing better than sharing a smoke, swapping a story, and stealing from rich folks. A more or less homeless vagrant they wander from place to place, breaking hearts and singing songs. They make friends wherever they go, but they have a powerful fear of commitment that keeps them from getting too close to anyone. As soon as someone starts looking too attached, they skip town, and boy can they run! Shafan is faster on foot across open ground than just about any troll alive, at least according to them, and they're always happy to prove it with a race. So if you've got a story to tell, a song to share, or you just need someone to deal you weed for a (mostly) fair price, look for the white haired rusty playing banjo on the corner and come say hello!

After an incident during take your child to work day where he ended up fused with a husky puppy, Kris was taken into custody by his father's employer, Skaianet Labratories. He doesn't remember much of his time before then, and spends most of his time trapped in a room watching movies on his laptop or reading ebooks about grand adventures. Kris always keeps an eye out for the timer on his wall, as he hopes that once it hits 0 it'll mean he can finally leave his room and see what life is like outside the walls of the laboratory. Unknown by him, he's been cast to play a role in an experimental sburb session.

Her lusus, Sweetbaby, is a semi-aquatic possum with three tails that she uses to propel herself through water.

Popahv came from an amazing homestuck ttrpg campaign called Binary System, which we even tried turning into a fanventure for a little bit there! Popahv is just a sweet little guy with some serious attachment issues. He loves his friends more than anything and thinks it's his responsibility to take care of them, whether they want him to or not. Add this to an exploit in the game giving him some extremely overpowered mind control powers, and Popahv becomes just a little problematic! He means well, honestly. I could probably rename this into a Spitter Fury but I dont feel like going back to edit it. This is a female 'Ruinous Fury' a fan-made species that I created. There are few changes between male and female Ruinous Fury's, the easiest to see is their tailfins and how many spines they have on their back.
