sanguineti, ottieri, zanzotto, psychoanalysis
Sandro Ricaldone PSYCHOANALYSIS, IDEOLOGY AND COMMITMENT IN ITALY 1945-1975Edoardo Sanguineti, Ottiero Ottieri, Andrea Zanzottoedited by Alessandra DiazziLegenda, 2022Over the post-war decades, Italy’s ‘extroverted’ cultural identity was mostly oriented towards social and political questions: the inward turn of psychoanalysis was regarded with suspicion, as a fin-de-siècle cure for middle-class…

i have to go back to my inner world my headspace. i can only get flickers of it rn because when i first saw it i was in a very relaxed state and now im very not. everything is fuzzy dark and thundery but not in a fun way. in an uncomfortably hot summer evening way where the air is heavy and moist and you can hear the thunder in the distance and you know it'll bring relief once the storm has passed but for the moment it's just ominous and making the pressure and humidity worse. i hate it here

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!
Old followers remember my Akuma! Adrien Eros design! For this Valentine’s Day I decided to bring him back! I even wrote a small snipet! I know by the time I upload this it’s gonna be late but I had a pretty busy day and I am just glad that I was able to even finish this!
—————————————————————————————————————————-
She couldn’t see anything, Eros’s wings were covering her, she couldn’t see, she couldnt hear. All she could feel was Adrien’s-no…Eros’s magic trying to transform her, make her surrender to his power. Become what he wanted her to become. The intense feeling of his love was like a noose around her neck, suffocating and sweet. Oh god it was so sweet and warm and it…She was suffocating, she needed air but if she desired air she would have to give in.
Marinette tried to claw at the golden armor of her lover-no! Her friend! He wasn’t her lover! He was her friend! He made that clear that he wasn’t in love with Marinette!
Yes he is, you can have his love if you just give in
Her fingers pulled and scraped against the metallic metal as Eros squeezed tighter, his golden armor shining as bright as the sun. She can feel Adrien’s breath, he’s chuckling, he waiting.
Waiting for her to stop fighting and just surrender
Marinette lets out a muffled cry as another wave of love slams into her, his feathers so soft and comforting, so tempting to just surrender and see the sun again.
He is the sun, you can see him again if you just stop fighting
“Adrien please.” She begs, his wings shift, becoming tighter as he buries his face into her hair. “Please, let me go…Adrien!”
Marinette can’t tell which Miraculous is being used, Juliation, Passion, Pretension? It’s strong, familiar, it might be Diazzi or Ziggy. Orikko could work to but he can’t do anything with love for those concepts belonged to others.
“Adrien, you have to let go! Please! You’ve been Akumatized, this isn’t what you want!” She tries to pull his real self out, but the wings fold in more, Adrien’s head shifts from his place in her hair.
You are what he wants, just give him what he wants, he just wants you
As she struggled Marinette could remember how quickly Adrien had given into Monarchs control, one minute Lila had been whispering something to him, the Akuma sank into his ring and the next he was Eros, flying high into the sky and the diving down, grabbing Marinette and trapping her in his wings.
He learned the truth, he knows you love him, he loves you too…so why fight when he knows?
Marinette couldn’t breathe
He’ll be your oxygen, just give in
Marinette couldn’t see
He’ll be your eyes, just give in
She wanted it to stop!
She needed it to stop! She had to transform! She had to save him!
You can save him by loving him
No! She needed to get out! She needed to-
“Marinette please…just give in…just let me love you the way you did all those years ago”
His voice is the same but it’s weak, it’s vulnerable, it’s needy…it’s full of love.
She gives in
———————————————————-
Marinette intakes her first breath of air, her vision reappears as the soft wings gracefully open up, she feels lighter. Eros’s wings flair out revealing the world around them has changed, it’s prettier and softer. Marinette feels dizzy for a few seconds as he sees the rest of her legs transformed. Her pants and slippers gone as a light pink dress replaces her original clothes.
“There we go, isn’t that better? It feels good to give in rather than fight it.” Adrien chuckles as he looks down at Marinette, his face beaming brightly almost as bright as his halo that resides on his head.
Marinette doesn’t say anything as her conscious is drowned by the loving feeling.
Eros smiles and holds her tight.
“I love you Marinette.”
“Say you love me too”
Marinette gives in.
“I love you too…Adrien.”
Eros has found his Psyche and he doesn’t plan on letting her go.
He’ll make sure she stays

What miraculous do you think are the ideal matches for the madrigals?
Also I love your art
It depends on if you want to go by a strict gift basis or personality. Some of those aren't exclusive though-
TLDR-
Julieta- Wayzz, Alma- Nooroo or Liiri, Pepa- Daizzi/Longg, Bruno- Sass or Tikki, Felix- Diazzi, Augustin- Kalkki, Isabela- Pollen, Dolores- Longg or Barkk, Luisa- Pollen & Duusu, Camilo- Pollen, Antonio- Duusu/unclear, and Mirabel- any of them really.
Bonus Turtle Julieta who didn't make it into AVB- Her name is Hicotea
Tumblr media
Julieta for example I think would do well with the turtle both because it's the closest to her gift (since besides the ladybug there isn't a healing power) and I think she and Wayzz would get along well.
Alma would theoretically either have the butterfly (Matriarch deal) or the Ladybug and Cat. But I don't think she'd get along with any of the kwamis very well. Maybe Liiri, but she'd not here.
Pepa would power wise have the dragon, and I think in personality it fits okay. But I would personally either give her Wayzz or Daizzi. Possibly also Orikko.
Bruno would have either Fluff or Sass based on his gift and I think he'd get along with both. I also think he and Tikki would get along (hence Cochineal) and Plagg would have a similar dynamic with him that he does with Adrien, albeit less parental/familial, more platonic. I think he and Mullo would also get along.
Felix would get along with Daizzi, Ziggy, or Orikko. All three seem to thrive on holders with high energy and positive attitude
Augustin could do well with Wayzz and possible Kaalki, since she's probably help with his clumsiness through sheer determination. As well as Stompp who would go "Fuck it, lets just throw shit." I gave him Sass in AVB since I figured he'd be willing to try a million times to get it right, but its not my fist pick.
Isabela would probably do best with Pollen, both because haha Bee, but also- Pollen is a very loyal bee. She calls Isabela her queen but if her queen wants to throw color bombs and do fancy acrobatics with vines? Bravo! Keep going. I stand by the idea that Isabela and Longg could never really get along. Second choices would be Xuppu or Trixx since they'd encourage her to have fun but Trixx for sure would not let her get away with being bitchy. Tikki would also probably do her good.
Dolores could still do well with Mullo at the best of times but I'd be more inclined to give her Pollen, Longg, or Barkk. Pollen and Long would be very respectful of her sensitive hearing while still helping push her, and Barkk would bite anyone being too loud. She is very loyal. Dolores would probably also do well with Plagg for the simple fact he is high demand for food, but very apathetic the rest of the time.
Luisa would match with Roaar in terms of gifts but personality wise I think Pollen, Duusu, Kalkki, or Barkk. With I think Pollen or Duusu being the strongest two.
Camilo would match with Trixx for powers but I wasn't kidding in A Lawless Cat when I said I thought he'd make a good Bee. They're leaders and need to hold attention, but can get in a good sting if you turn your back. Other pick would be Orikko.
Antonio I think does well with the Peacock but otherwise he's a bit to young to know what other miraculous he would thrive with. His compassion would potentially also do well with the butterfly.
And now Mirabel, the character who i think has the widest picks.
Sticking to Cannon Encanto Mirabel I still think she'd have the widest variety. Obviously Nooroo is the top pick, Mirabel likes to help people but most of the time she's teaching them to help themselves first. Even to her own detriment. I think she and Tikki would thrive as two creative spirits, same with Ziggy. Her compassion and good understanding of feelings and others, would make her do well with Duusu. Plagg would encourage ehr to fight for herself, Liiri would want her to break free. Xuupu, Trixx, Orikko, and Diazzi would help her bring fun back into her life as well as spread her strengths to others. She's intuitive enough to work well with Sass, Roarr would push her to take power into her hands and be heard. Stompp would teach her to defend herself. The only kwami I think she wouldn't get on perfectly with is Longg, but even then it wouldn't be particularly bad. It's just that- Mirabel has specifically gone her whole life seeing herself as Imperfect which would strain her connection to him.

So since the French miracle box in your fav & mad au is based on well France, would sass represent an Asp Viper or European Adder since as far as I'm aware their the only snakes in Europe that have which is harmful to humans?
Also any chance we can learn why you the animals you did for your French miracle box, why you picked the concepts for the animals you did, or why you changed some like dazzi, ziggy, stompp, and nooroo?
prolly a viper, yeah.
most changes just to line up with the idea that they're a french miracle box miracle court, to feel a little more wild and ancient and to match with more fitting themes per-animal as opposed to the "whatever sounds cool" rule the show usually follows.
Diazzi's power sucked and the boar is not only a french animal, it's what the kwami should have been originally. Chamois is a kind of goat, Auurochs are an ancestor of the cow- which are more french then the ox/water buffalo that Stompp seems to be based off of, and nooroo deserves a break. Swallowtails are found in france too, and they're just a butterfly breed.
the court plays little to no part in F&M.

26, 27/04: Crossing Borders, Interplay Collective e Tamara Jokic allo Spazio Teatro No'hma - Milano
Crossing Borders supera ogni confine, spaziando fra influenze macedoni, mediterranee, israeliane, peruviane e mediorientali, rilette in chiave "world fusion".

Treatment for an Ear Infection
A doctor should see all cases of earache. He has the right equipment to examine the ears and provide the appropriate treatment.
Children under six years old are at risk for frequent middle ear infections or recurrent media otitis media. This is the most common diagnosis in medical clinics. Middle ear infections can be caused by a variety of bacteria and viruses. Branhamella catarrahalis (Ba-cat) is the most common cause of middle ear infections in children. Food allergies are another reason for frequent ear infections in children.
It is important to avoid eating foods that are mucous-forming. Natural decongestants such as the herbal combination HAS, AllergyCheck can be used to dry it up. This can make a huge difference. Avoiding common allergenic foods like wheat, dairy products and peanut butter, as well as citrus fruits, bananas, and citrus fruits, may be beneficial.
Tumblr media
Garlic oil can be used to treat ear infections in children. You can buy ready-made. A Naturopath recommended a garlic oil extract for children's ear drops. The child was able to get rid of the ear infection within two days. If ear pain is a problem in your household, I strongly advise you to seek medical advice before injecting anything into the ears.
Ear and Nerve Formula, a herbal formula, has been used to treat ear problems. It can relieve symptoms of nervous disability and hysteria. It can be helpful in epilepsy cases.
Low iron levels can cause dizziness, vertigo, earache, and other symptoms such as vertigo. An iron supplement may be necessary. It is important to ensure that the iron supplement contains iron, vitamin B12 and vitamin C. These are essential for proper iron absorption and utilisation. Also Click here to know more additional details.
Vitamin A is required to protect the mucous membranes and support the immune system. Echinacea and Garlic Oil, Golden Seal and Mullein all work well as anti-mucous and antibiotic herbs.
Ear Infections can be treated with nutritional and herbal support.
Vitamin C and Zinc - Increases immunity and helps to reduce infections.
Bio Attack - A capsule that contains a herbal formula and olive leaf, as well as anti-fungal herbs.
Sambucol Immune is a liquid immune booster that combats both viral infections and bacterial ones.
Earmed Relief - Homeopathic remedy for earache.
Eutherol - Great tasting menthol liquid herbal formula that is a powerful antiseptic/antibiotic. Dropper in the ear or orally.
Here are some interesting facts about ear infections:
Avoid wheat, dairy products and corn.
To fight infection, you can take an alcohol-free Echinacea/Golden Seal oil internally.
Warm garlic oil and mullein have been used to relieve pain.
To reduce the possibility of allergic reactions, rotate your food.
To help your body fight infection, take a vitamin supplement.
If you have an ear infection, don't blow your nose. The ear canal should be kept dry. It can be hazardous to retain soap or water in the canal. When you are taking a shower or bath, put cotton in your ear canal.
Swimming should be avoided until your healing process is complete.
You can unblock blocked ears by chewing gum, blowing up balloons, or using chewing gum.
Diazziness, ringing or bleeding in the ears, or sudden decreases in pain or dizziness in one or both of your ears, should be reported to your doctor immediately. This could be a sign of a ruptured or damaged eardrum.

In particolare, in scena sono attesi i danzatori Simone Accietto, Sabrina Bergianti, Barbara Camellini, Marisa Carta, Chiara Diazzi, Aurelia De Luca, Vera Guaitoli, Giorgia Guerra, Emi Longagnani, Laura Martinelli, Leandro Manrique, Giada Mazzocco, Emma Panini, Chiara Pellegrini, Anita Piccinini, Simone Schedan e Bianca Serena Truzzi. Ad accompagnarli Enrico Pasini ed Anna Palumbo; voce fuori campo Gaia Davolio; direzione artistica Elisa Balugani. Hanno collaborato al progetto come ospiti Enrico Pasini, Gaia Davolio, Daniela Paci e Anna Palumbo.... #notizie #news #breakingnews #cronaca #politica #eventi #sport #moda Read the full article

Small little idea that I thought of
The kwamis are constantly glowing, radiating brightly and glimmering like a dream. This is because their concepts are constantly active. They glow every time their concept is in use.
Tikki is constantly glowing bright like a warm spark of life because humans are constantly creating.
Plagg is constantly dark with a hint of purple light like a fading light because humans constantly destroy things.
Ziggy and Diazzi glow as bright as a rising sun and as red as a rose full of passion and desire.
Duusu glows a light blue like the color of a blue sky in the time of summer when emotions are high and free.
So when their concepts are at their strongest they blaze brightly. .

Didn’t recommend Diaz for East Bengal coach’s role: Former manager Menendez
Former East Bengal coach Alejandro Menendez on Monday denied claims on Twitter that he had recommended current coach Manolo Diaz to take over the reins of the Bengal powerhouse. “Ever since I left the post of East Bengal coach, I have not had any close contact with the club,” he wrote. I didn’t recommend Manolo Diaz (I haven’t spoken to him) or any other coach in East Bengal as I have no contact…

paula’s packing perils
I’m leaving for my Big Independencia Lady Vacay and I’m having a very pleasant time sitting in front of a flashing iPad menu, drinking an incredibly overpriced glass of wine, and eating the beef jerky I bought at the expensive airport sundry store.
Funnily enough, I was joined by an elderly gentleman, Very Canadian, who had a Very Canadian name that is the same Very Canadian name of an old Very Canadian friend. The world, huh?
Cosmic reminders that I can read too much into aside, I wanted to take this time to share my travel “must-haves.” The things I simply had to bring on my eat-pray-love voyage that will be largely comprised of me eating everything I see and just hoping my stomach stands strong.
And that isn’t a jab at Mexican food. It’s just that every time I travel, my body turns into a delicate, frail human napkin that can stomach only jello (on a good day). Anyway, here’s what I’m taking with me on my big 2019 trip to Oaxaca City.
Tumblr media
- Teva sandals, duh.
- Sally Rooney’s Normal People (again, duh).
- All the episodes of “I Think You Should You Leave” featuring Tim Robinson. (side note: Detroiters was one of the few truly hilarious shows I’ve watched in a while... the clown episode?? Forget about it. I think Tim Robinson is a genius and I’m very excited to power through this series)
- Several pairs of “undershorts” ... anyone with large thighs will understand.
- An empty bag of beef jerky.
- A fanny pack that I am definitely too old for but I will wear with pride.
- Three different sunscreens.
- A brand new “travel notebook” as well as my usual “idea notebook” that is mostly narratives about food I’ve eaten.
- Sounds: several meditation tracks, soft synth playlists, podcasts (Yeah But Still, The Worst, Twinnovation, Experts Podcast), a playlist just called “Oaxaca,” Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5, and The Fantastic Jazz Harp of Dorothy Ashby.
- Two (2) obnoxious hats.
- A google map of hot spots to visit, given to me by the lovely artist who gave me my latest “yolo” tattoo.
- The low hum of stress from work that I will have to do while I’m there.
- My “super” cool, “super” chic, one-piece Nike bathing suit with vibrant “mom” pattern.
- Like seven (7) granola bars, at least.
- The brand new, yoga-lady reusable water bottle I bought as soon as I got to the gate because I forgot mine and my indulgence knows no bounds.
- Sunglasses (prescription and non prescripsh).
- My holy triumvirates of meds (wellbyutch, ‘lex, and quettypine). Some diazzy, too.
- My trusty camera and many rolls of film that will cost about $80 to develop.
There’s certainly more but the plane is boarding soon and writing this has already taken too much time. Someone behind me is getting ready to watch Game of Thrones and I don’t even want to look.
Alright. We’ll see how this ~blogging~ thing goes. Here is a letter my sister wrote me before I left.

Hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis in two men with aromatase deficiency: evidence that circulating estrogens are required at the hypothalamic level for the integrity of gonadotropin negative feedback.Rochira V, Zirilli L, Genazzani AD, Balestrieri A, Aranda C, Fabre B, Antunez P, Diazzi C, Carani C, Maffei L. Integrated Department of Medicine, Endocrinology, Metabolism and Geriatrics and. BACKGROUND: In men, the feedback of gonadotropins is regulated by estrogens that come from the aromatization of testosterone, but the relative contribution to the inhibition of LH and FSH secretion by the amount of locally produced estrogens within the hypothalamus and/or the pituitary, and the amount of circulating estrogens still remains unknown. OBJECTIVE: In order to evaluate the effect of regulation induced by estradiol on the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, we studied the pulsatility of LH and FSH in two aromatase-deficient men (called subject 1 and subject 2), in which the production rate of estrogen (both local and circulating) is completely, or at least severely, impaired. DESIGN: FSH and LH were evaluated in terms of their pulsated secretion and as GnRH-stimulated secretion in two phases: phase 1, before estrogen treatment; and phase 2, during estrogen treatment with 25 mug transdermal estradiol twice weekly. METHODS: Blood samples were taken during phase 1 and phase 2 at 0800 h for basal measurements of LH, FSH, inhibin B, testosterone, and estradiol. The analysis of the pulsatility of LH and FSH was performed by sampling every 10 min for 8 h in the two phases. Gonadotropin response to GnRH-stimulation test was studied by serial standard sampling after 100 mug GnRH i.v. bolus in phases 1 and 2. RESULTS: Estrogen treatment led to a significant reduction in both LH-pulsated frequency (7.5 +/- 0.7 in phase 1, 4.5 +/- 0.7 in phase 2) and amplitudes (3.5 +/- 0.006 in phase 1, 1.9 +/- 0.4 in phase 2) of peaks, whereas FSH showed only a conspicuous reduction in serum levels and a trend towards the reduction of the amplitudes of its peaks without modification of the frequency of the pulses. Both Testosterone and gonadotropins decreased during phase 2, whereas estradiol reached the normal range in both subjects. Transdermal estradiol treatment significantly lowered the peaks of both serum LH and FSH after GnRH as well as the incremental area under the curve after GnRH administration in both subjects. Basal serum inhibin B levels were slightly higher before transdermal estradiol treatment (phase 1) than during estrogen treatment (phase 2) in both subjects. CONCLUSIONS: The administration of estrogen to aromatase-deficient men discloses the effects of circulating estrogens on LH secretion, exerted both at pituitary level, as shown by the decrease of basal and GnRH-stimulated secretion of LH and the LH pulsed amplitude, and at hypothalamic level as shown by the reduction of the frequency of LH pulses. The present study, coupling the outcomes of basal, GnRH-stimulated and the pulsatile evaluation of LH and FSH secretion in two aromatase-deficient men, demonstrates that circulating estrogens play an inhibitory role in LH secretion by acting on the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland of men. The discrepancy among testosterone levels, the arrest of spermatogenesis and a slightly inappropriate respective increase of serum FSH (lower than expected) suggests a possible role of estrogens in the priming and the maturation of HPG axis in men, an event that has never occurred in these two subjects as a consequence of chronic estrogen deprivation.
