So I saw your reblog and Sassy about Dia.

So I gonna ask, how do describe MC!Delphi relationship with said prince? Also Solomon cuz I'm curious about it

Delphi hates Diavolo. Like. She can't stand the way he treats Lucifer and his brothers. She thinks he's selfish and doesn't consider how his actions will affect others. Especially after she finds out about Lilith and how he took advantage of Lucifer trying to save her to get an oath of loyalty out of him. And after the end of S2? Her villain arc is gonna make a lot of sense.

Solomon is trickier. Because Delphi loves Solomon. He was kind of like her lifeline to the human world during the first year of the exchange program, but he was also her first romantic relationship in the Devildom. So she really wants to get back to that, but she doesn't feel like they can because she doesn't trust him anymore.

She does eventually learn to trust him again and forgives him for his involvement in the S2 fiasco, thanks to Asmo and her brother. They may not get to the same place again, but Solomon really wants to try. It kinda broke him when she ended things.

Tbh there are so many things about the situation at Delphi that make me ask questions that it makes me feral.

Because well, there were Autobot nucleon mines there, and the DJD also had their base on Messatine. Pharma says that Prowl kept sending more soldiers and miners, so that meant there was some sort of battling going on there on a consistent basis. Not the DJD surely, as the DJD's primary job duty is hunting traitors and that's something that has them doing a lot of traveling. But Pharma DOES also say that the DJD could destroy the entire base in an instant but don't do it because of Pharma's deal with Tarn.

And tbh it just makes me ask so many questions like. Why was Ambulon, a Decepticon traitor, sent to work on the same planet the DJD live on? Isn't that like flagrantly disregarding his safety and putting the entire clinic at risk to a raid by the DJD? What about Pharma? Why did Prowl send one of the best doctors in the Autobot army to a clinic at some random mine that doesn't seem to have much relevance to the war effort? And the fact that the DJD works out of Messatine is very much known; I mean, Pharma knows, and he's just a doctor, surely this is common knowledge? Did Prowl offer the post at Delphi to Pharma specifically because he thought that Pharma was resourceful enough to be able to handle such a stressful position? Or did he anticipate that Pharma would be willing to make morally questionable deals to keep Delphi and the mines running, despite the fact that Pharma has had no bad marks to his name until now?

Did the Autobots at Delphi even know about the war being over? I mean, true, the war didn't technically end until Megatron gave his speech on Luna-2 telling the Decepticons to demobilize, but the war was mostly over and Cybertron had been reverted, did the Delphi medics know? DID ANYONE EVEN FUCKING CHECK IN ON DELPHI TO NOTICE THERE WAS A FUCKING PLAGUE GOING ON??? Pharma's entire plan hinged on Autobot High Command shutting down the clinic and evacuating without Pharma being implicated in the t-cog deal, but Prowl never even brings up Delphi in ex-RID, in fact no one seems to ever bring up Delphi at any point during phase 2??? And if Delphi was so easily forgotten that no one checked in on it and it took a random visit from the Lost Light to reveal Pharma's plot, then it couldn't be very important in the scale of the war, could it? SO THEN WHY WAS PHARMA SENT THERE TO BEGIN WITH if it was nothing but some nucleon mines that seemingly made no impact on the war effort?

Did Pharma really just get unlucky enough to get a shitty job posting? But the DJD being on Messatine was no coincidence, there's no way that Prowl didn't know. So did Prowl offer the Delphi posting to Pharma for one of his 5D chess game moves or was it just pure misfortune? Did Prowl, a notable mathematical and tactical genius, notice the climbing mortality rates at Delphi and calculate their cause himself? Why would Prowl not investigate them, unless he was busy, unless it was part of his plans all along? But why would Pharma getting in contact with the DJD have anything to do with Autobot war efforts?

And that's not even getting into the nature of how Pharma's red rust plague operates based on transformation. Both of Pharma's main assistants either couldn't or chose not to transform. Tarn is notable for having a transformation addiction. Did Pharma purposefully design the plague so that (unfortunate collateral damage aside) it wouldn't kill Ambulon or First Aid but would have devastating effects on Tarn?

He'll still help, but there's a big part of him that is kind of angry about it in a petty, stupid, selfish way because he feels like he's done enough and he low-key wishes the Traveler would leave him alone (which it might have. as i say. i don't play destiny anymore.) and that's not a good look for the guy who speaks for the Traveler to have

Literally nothing. He's going to be remembered because he has psychic visions and occasionally gets his mouth hijacked by a deity but like. He just wants to fade into obscurity and live a normal, peaceful life. Unfortunately for him he's one of my ocs so that will never happen

The weather is cooling down in the Devildom, signaling the beginning of fall. It isn’t heralded by the leaves on the trees changing colors or pumpkin spice everything, but there are telltale signs. Like the warm takeout cup of poisoned apple cider between her gloved hands and the fluffy, burnt-orange sweater that Asmo begged her to wear to protect her fragile human body from the cold. She knew it was really because of the way the sweater reveals her shoulders, but she let him fuss over her before they went shopping.

Now, with a Majolish bag dangling from her elbow and cider in hand, she heads upstairs to get ready for her dinner date. Lucifer is still in his office working, so she lays her new sweater dress out on the bed and heads for the shower. She takes her time getting ready, showering, drying and styling her hair, and even applying some makeup. Finally, she slips into her new dress with a smile.

The plush fabric hugs her curves just right and the open lantern sleeves give it a lovely cold-shoulder effect. It’s warm, but no uncomfortably so, and she finds herself admiring how the deep red compliments her rosy complexion. Even through the thick turtleneck, she can see the pact mark on her throat glowing softly and she blushes, covering her face with her hands.

It’s silly, she thinks, getting so worked up over something as trivial as a new dress. But as she looks again, admiring the snug fit of the dress over her hips and the way her pact marks barely peek out from the hem, she feels another surge of pride rise in her chest.

She isn’t surprised when she feels warm hands slip around her waist and cool breath fan over her neck. Lucifer murmurs in her ear, “You look absolutely stunning, my darling. Is that a new dress?”

“It is,” she responds, smiling at his reflection in the mirror. “Do you like it?”

“It’s perfect, love,” Lucifer replies, and even through the reflection, she can feel the heat of his crimson gaze.

There was a time, in years past, when that look would have sent her running, or made her curl in on herself in fear. But now she sees it for what it really is – undisguised, unabashed lust. She preens under his gaze, her own pride and lust rising to match his.

“I need to put my shoes on and I’ll be ready to go,” she says, slipping delicately from his grasp to sit on the edge of the bed where a pair of black ankle boots wait.

She barely has time to sit down before Lucifer is kneeling at the edge of the bed between her knees. He looks up at her through thick, dark lashes and asks, “Let me help you?”

Delphi nods, feeling heat rise in her cheeks. She leans back and places one foot on his knee, expecting him to unzip the corresponding boot and slip it onto her foot. Instead, he lifts her foot in both hands and raises it to his lips, laying a delicate kiss on top. Her breath hitches at the gesture, her heart racing. But as much as she expects him to stop there, he doesn’t, kissing first her ankle, then up the inside of her leg until he reaches the hem of her dress. He pushes it up slightly, inhaling her scent deeply from her core. One of his hands wraps around her waist as he rises to look at her with pupils blown so wide his eyes look almost black.

“Lucifer,” she sighs, her own voice so thick it’s nearly foreign to her. “We’ll miss our reservation.”

“I know the owner, he’ll let us in,” he breathes in reply, surging up to meet her lips with his own.

The kiss takes her breath away, and she finds herself moaning into it, letting her every objection fall away until all that remains is the enormity, the unfathomable depth of the love between them. She can feel it in every movement, every brush of his lips against hers, every slide of his tongue, and every press of his gloved fingers into her plush flesh.

“Marry me.”

It takes a few moments for the words to process, her mind still reeling from the kiss.

“W-what?” Delphi stammers, blinking.

“I was going to wait until we went to dinner,” Lucifer explains, lifting a hand to brush a loose curl from her face. He smiles. “But for some reason when I’m with you, whatever plans I’ve made don’t mater anymore. So I’m asking you now, Delphi Hawke, will you marry me?”

Delphi gapes, her pulse roaring in her ears. She manages to get her thoughts in enough of a semblance of order to ask, “But what about the laws? Demons can’t marry humans.”

“Diavolo is going to make the announcement tomorrow,” Lucifer explains with a gentle smile. “I asked him to delay it so that I could have tonight to ask.”

“We can get married?” Delphi breathes, tears stinging the corners of her eyes.

“As of tomorrow, yes.”

She sits for a moment in disbelief, staring down through her tears at the demon between her knees. They’ve waited and worked so long for this, now that it’s in front of her, it doesn’t seem real. Her head is spinning.

“Love?” Lucifer asks, trailing his thumb along her lower lip.

“Sorry!” she exclaims, everything suddenly snapping back into focus. She finds herself nodding, tears streaming down her cheeks. “Yes! Yes! A thousand times, yes!”

She throws herself into his arms, laughing and crying as he picks her up and spins her around.

“I never imagined that I would ever feel happiness like this when we left the Celestial Realm,” Lucifer murmurs against her skin when he finally sets her back down on the bed. “My love, you have made me the happiest demon alive.”

“What a coincidence!” Delphi giggles. “You’ve made me the happiest human alive.”

i'm new to it all so how come everyone is agreeing it's Carlos who has the secret child?

oh boy this ranges into the territory of wag lore that i don’t actually know much about (my judgment was based on vibes and age) but basically i think the key elements of the profile in most people’s minds are:

under 30 (seems like older 20s range, otherwise they would just say “in their 20s”; imo under 30 = 28-29)

he broke up with his long term girlfriend is(s)a more recently (i think) than some of the other notable long term relationships ending (i.e. charles which was like… a year ago)

he soft/hard launched his new girlfriend like… a few races ago? recently but he was seen with her much earlier (?? i think it’s the same person he was pictured with right around the time he broke with issa)

(the rude reason) some have pointed out that with his family’s wealth/background and political scheming he’s a prime candidate for secret hidden child

(for me) it’s about the aura. the vibes. the energy. you show someone a picture of carlos sainz with his classically attractive but frequently clueless face and tell them he has a secret hidden child and they’d be like “yeah that checks out”

(my personal theory) it’s simply funny to join in when the collective has chosen the joke that they are going with and carlos happened to be the “popular” choice

the ferrari boys have a strange and rather undeserved reputation for being red flags in their little red cars & charles doesn’t fit the timeline

but mostly bc it’s simply hilarious & i for one enjoy the chaos of deranged rumors (my reasoning)

spicy cucumber quick 'pickles'.

however many cucumbers. english or mini ones seem to work well for this, because of the slightly firmer texture.

1 part soy sauce

3 parts rice vinegar, white distilled is acceptable if you prefer. adjust mixture to your taste. powdered vinegar is extremely effective here but i personally dont use it.

sesame oil to taste.

chili oil or cayenne pepper to taste.

obscene amount of sesame seeds, toasted dark. the kind you can buy pre-toasted will work fine, but you should toast them more anyway.

worcestershire sauce for a subtle black pepper flavor. dont leave this out, but dont put too much. unless you want to. i added this on a whim one time and i feel it works far far better than oyster sauce in this context, due to being kind of tart which prevents diluting the vinegar flavor.

green onions can be added, if you like. i love green onions but not in this.

slice cucumbers to your preference, i like a variety of cuts for this. big or small pieces are okay, i find myself doing thin slices at an angle to give me long sheets. big chunks will retain more cucumber taste, naturally.

place cucumbers in a bowl or strainer and salt heavily. begin toasting sesame seeds, paying careful attention. you want to take these right up to burnt but stop before they actually burn. dont leave them in the pan, they'll totally finish burning.

rinse cucumbers after about 7-ish minutes in the salt. the longer you leave them the softer they will get. they continue to soften in the liquid, but slower. the primary purpose of the salting is to lessen the amount of water the cucumbers will release into your sauce. secondly they will retain the salt inside themselves meaning the soy sauce is primarily for color. you can sub dark soy sauce but personally i dont want this to look that dark.

make your sauce according to your preferences. this dish is best if it's just a bit too spicy for you, if you use cayenne pepper the water will dilute it so dont worry if you initially add too much. chili oil is a good way to do this dish because it doesnt mix in. but if you add too much you'll have to let the mixture separate and skim it off the top.

place in tupperware, lid on. shake. if you added enough sesame seeds you'll note that the oil seems to have disappeared. the sesame seeds like to make an unstable emulsification in the concentration that i add them in. if you use less you may not end up with this effect, ive had this either way and it's good both ways. but if your oil remains separate and you choose to use chili oil, it may be hard to actually get any chili oil in a bite.

my current depression food. i did find out about this from my mom who got it from tiktok, so thats unfortunate. bht its rly good and i have like 5 or 6 variations of this now that i do.
