"What I really admire about you is your work ethic," he beamed at Ricki-Lee, looking so cheerful you barely noticed how insulting that was.Īfter round two, there were only six points separating the three finalists, which meant it came down to the votes of the viewers who hadn't seen any of the dances. "Break a hip!" he chirped happily at Lynne. And Todd McKenney was there for his wit and all-round joie de vivre. Kym Johnson, of course, was there mainly to threaten to poke people's eyes out with her terrifying pointed shoulders. Helen Richey supplied the technical expertise, such as her advice to Ricki-Lee to "believe in yourself". Each DWTS judge played their own special role in the finale: Adam Garcia provided truth bombs, as demonstrated by his revelation that during a paso doble, "you can't have weak feet". Of course, the stars of Dancing with the Stars aren't the only stars: there are also the judges. It also seemed to only last about fifteen seconds, at the end of which Ricki-Lee revealed that she "blurs her eyes" so she can't see. The dance itself was on a western theme, and featured Ricki-Lee singing, which is, let's not pussyfoot around it, cheating. Ricki-Lee's freestyle dance was preceded by her heartfelt confession that she enjoys challenges. Following the routine, Ricki-Lee dropped a bombshell by revealing that unlike her first paso doble, this time she wasn't wearing zombie makeup. Less wacky than the other routines, there was no doubt in anyone's mind that Ricki-Lee and Jarryd were, technically, dancing. Sonia noted that Carmelo was like the Italian dancing son Lynne never had, which was a cruel insult to her actual Italian dancing sons. The number really showcased the veteran actress' peerless ability to open her eyes so wide you're absolutely sure she's going to kill you. Then it went all disco and Lynne and Carmelo started waving their arms around like muppets to a song from the Jerry Springer musical, symbolising Lynne's love of paternity tests. Lynne's second dance was a graceful and elegiac reflection on the fleeting nature of existence. Lynne scored 36 points, one for every decade of her acting career. This was accompanied, for some reason, by a classic blues song. Lynne was asked to do a jazz number, in tribute to what was the most popular style of music at the time she first appeared on Home and Away. Second up was Lynne McGranger, described by host Dan MacPherson as having "inspirational energy": in other words, she's heaps old. Li Lianhua raises his hands, taking a step back, watching Di Feisheng’s eyes narrow. “I’m just heading home.” And then, because it’s been a shitty night and a shitty week and he’s never stepped back when he could press his luck with this man, he turns his back and walks away, calling over his shoulder after a couple of steps, “You can come, if you want.”
He smirks at the huff of laughter, but keeps walking away without looking back. It doesn’t take long for Di Feisheng to catch up, casually shoulder-checking him.
They walk on in silence. Li Lianhua thinks about needling him, starting one of their bickering conversations to give A’Fei a way to vent the tension he can still see in his frame. But, as he darts a quick glance at A’Fei, takes in his posture, his quick stride, the blood still on his lip, he realizes he doesn’t want to talk. There’s been too goddamn much talking this week.

Why do you think gwevin is weak ?just curious tho because practically they're the best couple of this show given all that shit the writers made about ben and his girls or others lol
I don't think Gwevin is weak. They're a strong relationship! Good development, if a bit rushed, believable chemistry, engaging interactions, emotional character arcs tied to their relationship, etc.
Just that, of the trio, Gwevin is the weakest link thematically. They don't have the tension, learning to trust, or self-growth of Ben and Kevin. They don't have the watching-one-another's-back, slowly-learning-to-respect-one-another, or history of Ben and Gwen.
I mean, there's a reason there's no major story arcs or memorable character moments that are centered on Gwen and Kevin after they get together.
