Rooster Bold and Caprikid redesigns- with help from the NathMarc discord.

Alt versions below the cut- also the original version of these designs from a few years ago..

Orange RB, to match his canon design/ Orikko. I personally dont enjoy the colour scheme.

Pass one of the redraw.

RBs mask changed, to make them more expressive. The kneepad was removed to make him more balanced. CKs hair roots were changed from white to black so his mask stands out more.

The old designs! whats changed besides my style?

CK: Boot detail, zip added. Removed one of his braids, altered belt and holster.

RB: More detail added, side of hair shaved, removed quiver (idk magic arrows are cooler probably), knee pad removed, shoulder pads altered, mask changed.

Final thoughts: Im unsure which mask i prefer for rooster bold but regarding Marcs character, hed probably choose the eye mask. Also I often prefer to give Nathaniels designs a cape, akin to classic super heros, but i coildnt get it tp translarw very well with the theme so sadly, im not very happy with his design.

yes, we can go ahead and believe those piercings are clip-ons, if that's what you wanna do, then believe that, but i'll be in my corner

using his piercings as evidence that he's older than marinette

aside, can we please appreciate that Nathaniel's two most important people (Alix and Marc) end up getting more than just a basic pierced ear

and those are DEFINITELY not just piercings that appeared when she transformed

which means that Coq's piercings are also not just things that appeared when transformed

it means that he was already wearing those earrings and people only see them now because...

Like, they couldn’t decide on a power to give it, so they just gave it all the powers?

It’s just overpowered and very lazy.

Summary: Nathaniel the sculptor is a lonely man that creates the 'perfect human form'. It’s a sculpture that he adores and might just be a little in love with and wishes it were real. The Goddess of Love decides to bring the statue to life to be Nathaniel's companion. Nathaniel is delighted to have someone to accompany him while he works, and names the statue-turned-human 'Marc'. The artist treats Marc respectfully, but Marc falls in love with him for his gentle nature and kindness. Nathaniel has an internal conflict when he realizes he might be in love with his former statue.

Snippet: “My oh my, such a talented and kind artist. So willing to bring happiness to others, and yet so lonely… You really deserve to have a man who’ll love you,” says the Goddess of Love as she appears in Nathaniel’s room. Her shining blonde hair and bright blue eyes gleam like glittering stars. “Don’t you worry any longer! I’ll make sure your dreams come true, Nathaniel,” she says, looking down at the troubled artist with fondness. Said artist doesn’t even stir.

Then the Goddess of Love skips over to the sculpture of Nathaniel’s true love. She blows a kiss full of pink dust and smoke at the sculpture, enveloping the figure whole. The smoke seeps into his skin, making his form glow for a moment before it dissipates.

Next morning, Nathaniel will get the companionship he so longs for.

Ok so apparently the Rooster miraculous can't grant "desires". In that case have Hawkmoth have the power to locate and retrieve the Miraculous. Or have him grant the power to timetravel since he lost the rabbit. Or literally just heal his wife. They really should have just limited this to the original Miraculous and not the zodiacs

If they wanted to go with a Miraculous that made it easier for the writers to have Marc do whatever the hell they want him to do, don’t make it the power to give him whatever superpower he wants, but rather, the physical talents of someone he needs to get the job done.

For example, let’s say Marc didn’t know how to play soccer in “Penalteam” and was more of a strategist. When he uses Sublimation, he can gain the talent of a champion soccer player. Wouldn’t that make more sense than just the power to break the story?
