Macross(Robotech)/Voltron Shipping -Just for fun...

Keep in mind people this is meant to be for fun and not to be seen as anything serious. If this gets you to watch Robotech or Macross, please enjoy the shows.

So what is this, well as the title says this is just for fun. I’ve been seeing more and more silly shipping things for Macross/Robotech and, given that there’s not much going on here State’s side (Thanks Harmony Gold...=_=) for either show, I figured...heck why the hell not jump in and screw around with the idea of shipping the hell out of these messes of shows. XD

So here’s the rules in regard to this. I’m going by both the Robotech Saga and the Macross Saga. I’m only using a handful of Voltron characters, and I’ll give a small description of the Macross/Robotech character along with how well I think or don’t think, the ship will go. (If you guys want me to do pairings with Lotor and James, Nadia, Ina and Ryan, and Axca I can do a sequel to this.)

Keep in mind there are actual cannon pairings already in place with Macross/Robotech, but in this case it’s all for fun so everything is open to whatever.

So let’s start with Robotech/Super Dimensional Fortress Macross

Rick Hunter (Hikaru Ichijo)

Personality: Rick is a kind boy but also a bit of a dolt and disrespectful to others at times. He’s a compassionate person who can be a bit to trusting and while he’s a solider he does prefer to be a diplomat and would rather befriend the bad guys than outright kill them. Over time he learns to be more of a leader and someone who respects others.

If you’re going to ship him...

Rick x Keith - Okay so this would be pretty much what if Keith kind of dated a less angry version of himself. Could it be cute, sure, the two would constantly though be trying to one up one another because Rick is competitive. Also he’s a dumb bunny when it comes to romance so Keith would have to make the move on him because he can be too shy at times to do it.

Rick x Lance - Not sure how this would go honestly. Could it be cute, sure, but given Rick’s nature he may put his foot in his mouth a few times and comment something that could upset Lance in ways that they would have fights. Although knowing both, they would probably show up with flowers for one another the next day looking like dorks and blushing.

Rick x Pidge - I can see Matt very much being a big brother on this one and probably being the one to push for this. Pidge would probably make poor Rick’s head spin because the boy is not good at science matters. However he would do his best to learn from her and probably bring her tea and such to keep her awake, and sit with her while she does her thing. Also I think he’d probably inadvertently get her to blush a lot by just being the dumb bunny he is when he keeps telling her she’s really smart.

Rick x Hunk - Well if you ship Ben Dixion from Robotech with Rick, you would have the same thing here. The only difference being I think that Hunk would make him dinners and Rick would be his taste tester. It would be a sweet thing with cuddles because Rick would need it given his issues with the UN Spacey.

Rick x Allura - Adorable but I’m not sure how far this would go. Rick would probably feel way to below Allura to make it work, but he would certainly try. He’d probably be in awe of her, a lot of the time, and always say that she’s amazing in one way or another.

Rick x Shiro - Basically a friendlier version of Roy x Rick if you like that ship. Shiro would do his best for Rick and Rick would be inspired by Shiro. I think the only time trouble would happen is when these two clashed due to Rick’s less then polite attitude at times. So there is that. Other then that these two would be rather cute.

Rick x Romelle - I’m not sure what Rick would do with Romelle. On the one hand her energy would send him over the moon, on the other hand, they can both be sarcastic in nature so probably that could get them together. I think it could be a fun pairing also a bit on the silly side as Romelle would probably be asking what everything is and Rick would be trying to keep her from wrecking his plane.

Lisa Hayes (Misa Hayase)

Personality: Serious but thoughtful, also seen as extremely smart and cunning, Lisa can be a kind person but she also has a hard time making friends. She can come off as aloof but also someone that can be way to strict for others liking. She can and does lighten up, and is also willing to put herself on the line for her crew and friends.

Lisa x Keith - Probably would be okay as a couple, but could get on one another’s nerves because Lisa can be a bit caustic at times. Both have lost a parent at a young age and had one absent parent so they would connect on that front. I honestly think that Lisa would be a person that could listen to Keith and try to help him understand himself, even if she doesn’t always come off as a sweetheart.

Lisa x Lance - Oh boy, this would be one pairing that would have fireworks all over the place. Half the time they’re sparing, half the time Lance is trying to get her to notice him, half the time they would be on the same wave length and he’d see that under that cunning mind is a woman who can be as compassionate and caring as he is. So I think it would be a wild up and down relationship.

Lisa x Pidge - Hard to tell how this would work. While I can see them eventually getting together, it would be a very slow process as I can see them being so alike in nature that it would start out as just a strong friendship. Lisa would be very caring of Pidge and want to help her do whatever she wants, at the same time Pidge would always back Lisa up. (Honestly I can see them working as big sister/Little sister more than a couple.)

Lisa x Hunk -Basically if you like a sweet fluffy romance this would be for you. Hunk would work hard to get her out of her shell and be more social and I think Lisa would love and respect that with Hunk. Picnics would be a thing with these two and I think that Lisa would have seen a lot of her lost boyfriend in Hunk.

Lisa x Allura - This would be a romantic romance and Allura would probably be the one doing the perusing in this case. Probably they would start off with a lot of respect for one another, but I think Lisa may be a bit wary of Allura being a princess, and think she was the sort to just sit around and do nothing. Allura would have to then win her over through her wit and her charm, and eventually they would hit it off.

Lisa x Shiro - Okay yes, I know Shiro had a boyfriend, but for the sake of this crack pairing shipping thing...humor me. So this would be a serious relationship. Both characters are more serious in nature and so it would be a long standing sort of thing. I think Shiro would have been the one to make the first move here, but Lisa would have been the one to ask to go steady with him as I get the feeling that both seem to be long haul sort of people.

Lisa x Romelle -Can I laugh now? Like Lance this would be an up and down thing because I think that Lisa would enjoy Romelle most of the time but because of Romelle’s nature and Lisa’s there would be bumps in the road, and Lisa having to balance her work and her girlfriend who is going through the loss of her family would be rough for a while but they probably would get through it.

Max Sterling (Max Jenius)

Personality: Like Rick, Max is a bit of a dork, but he’s a lot more sure of himself and more confident. He may act like he doesn’t know something but tends to just do so for the sake of keeping low key on things. Friendly and flirty, Max has a soft spot for his friends and will put his life on the line to help them. He’s also a very good leader, and in some cases, more so than Rick. Basically if you like Matt Holt you’ll like Max Sterling.

Max x Keith - Max would constantly be trying to get Keith to blush but it wouldn’t work. Max would probably be always making sure that Keith took care of himself but also give him space to make his own choices. He’d be the sort that would give Keith the push to go figure out about his family and be willing to wait for him when he got back. He’d also be the sort to protect and defend his boyfriend even if it meant possible capture.

Max x Lance - Yeah these two dorks would be going out on nights on the town all the damn time. Max would probably be there to pull Lance back from some of his wackier moments, but he’d also find all of that amusing. He’d constantly be trying to get Lance to blush or melt, or whatever, just because he would find it amusing and cute. Max would also tease him a lot.

Max x Pidge -As with Lance this dork would be doing his damnedest to make her blush and freak out in some way. He’d find that adorable and happily go around saying he’s got the smartest girlfriend in the whole universe, if that made her turn into a tomato. Max would also be willing to help her with her work and come up with new items and ways to track the galra. He’d be very protective of her around anyone that could hurt her, and he’d probably ask Matt’s okay before he even asked her out.

Max x Hunk -These two would be complimenting each other the whole time. Hunk not getting some of it, but Max would always be proud of him. I would say that Max would possibly be always watching out for Hunk and reminding people of his smarts and how strong he is. He’d be the first to say that hunk is the heart of the team and probably the first to give him hugs if he needed it.

Max x Allura - Cute to say the least. These two would be seen as Homecoming King and Queen types. The High school sweethearts that are always too cute for some people. Max would treat her like a queen most of the time, but also know when to let her do her thing as the leader that she is. He’d always be there with a hug, or an ear to listen and hold her hand when she was nervous. He’d also love making her turn red around anyone.

Max x Shiro - This would be a quiet sort of thing. While Max would flirt with Shiro, i think his respect for him would be something that kept him from being too flirty. Alone he’d certainly try to get under Shiro’s skin with sweet nothings, but in public he would be as polite and proper as possible. With some sly winks here and there to turn Shiro’s cheeks red.

Max x Romelle -Pretty much a less violent situation with his cannon wife. I can see him finding Romelle very interesting and wanting to show her everything that he can in the world in general. Pretty much this would be a cute sort of situation all the way.

Claudia Grant (Claudia Lasalle)

Personality: Sweet and funny, Claudia is the opposite of the by the book Lisa. Relaxed, confident and friendly, she’s has a way of talking to people to put them at ease and get them to understand how important things are. Hardly ever yells so when she does get mad...watch out.

Claudia x Keith -This would be adorable as she would be always trying to get him to smile. Claudia would worry about Keith a lot, but also never let it get in the way of their relationship as she would believe in what Keith was doing. She’d also be someone that would remind him that it doesn’t matter what his past was, it was what he did in the here and now that mattered the most. Keith wouldn’t really know what to do with her, but he would try to make her happy as he would feel probably that she was too good for him.

Claudia x Lance - Claudia would probably be the person that would come to cheer Lance up when he felt down. She’d more than likely have his back when he was trying to do something and remind him of how strong a person he is and that his niece and nephew look up to him. I think if anything she would probably be the one to give him more confidence as a person, and in return Lance would do his best to sweep her off her feet. Also I have a feeling a lot of family talk would come up with these two.

Claudia x Pidge -Don’t try to mess with Pidge when Claudia is around. She will take you on and remind you that Pidge could run circles around you academically. She’d more than likely happily sit and watch Pidge and Lance play video games, but cheer them on. I can also see her trying to help keep Pidge organized and always handing her what she needs when she needs it. Also she would insist on making the Robot that they reprogrammed do some sort of dancing moves just to laugh about it later.

Claudia x Hunk - Way too cute for words. Hunk and Claudia would be making home cooked meals together and he would be at the ready to help her with whatever she needed. Hunk would also want to know about her family and the two would probably spend hours talking about family members and what to do for the holidays. Claudia would also be someone that would try to help Hunk feel better if he got sick or got tired. I think he may also be the one that would let her fly the lion with him.

Claudia x Allura -Trading clothing, check, shopping trips and spa days, check, always complimenting one another, triple check. These two would get along so well I don’t think there would be much of issues. At most Claudia’s more relaxed take it as you go nature may get on Allura’s nerves if she was feeling nervous about something, and Lotor being around Allura too much may make Claudia Jealous, but I think that they would probably be able to sit down and talk things out.

Claudia X Shiro - Now this would be interesting since Shiro takes a lot from Roy Fokker. I would say that the relationship would be similar, but the major differences here would be that Claudia’s warning would probably lead to Shiro being careful about himself and I also think she would be willing to stick with him through a lot of trouble that they could get into given that I could see her getting Shiro to not be so by the book at times. Also I can see them having the same sense of humor.

Claudia x Romelle - Not really sure of this one. I can see it maybe working, but I think that Claudia would be more a big sister to her than someone interested in Romelle. Although it would be a cute ship if they see eye to eye and Romelle show’s both her mature and silly side to Claudia. So there is that.

Lynn Minmei (Lynn Minmay)

Personality: Confident and a bit selfish, Lynn is a kind hearted person who tends to sometimes put her own dreams above others. However her compassion for others shows in how strong a person she is, and her willingness to stand up for what she believes in even when she’s scared can become infectious.

Lynn x Keith -I would say this one would be a bit rough. Keith is a loaner and Lynn needs attention. While it would be cute and I can see Lynn wanting to do a lot to get Keith to notice her, she would also probably feel a bit put out at times by him. Though I think ultimately if anything the more mature version of Keith would probably have her writing all sorts of love songs just for him. Hell I could see her just singing for him when they’re alone to put him to sleep at night.

Lynn x Lance -These two would be adorable together. Both are social people in their own way, and I can see Lynn making sure that every song she sings she winks at Lance who would come to see her all the time. No doubt that she’d probably try to get him to eventually sing with her at some point, either in private or in public. And I can certainly see them having a blast just hanging out with one another. The only issue I think could crop up is jealousy on both their parts and their own insecurities.

Lynn x Pidge - Pidge would be the protector in this case. Given Lynn’s career as a singer Pidge would probably try to avoid getting in her way, but I can see them meeting for lunch and dating on the side. Lynn would always be impressed by what Pidge made and Pidge would probably secretly have a stash of Lynn’s merch hidden on the side, that Lynn would find and tease her about at some point. The two would probably do the whole people watching thing and make jokes about them.

Lynn x Hunk -Okay so I have a feeling that this would be more Lynn making sure Hunk knows he’s perfect the way he is. She would adore his sweet nature and home cooking. I know that she would probably insist that he teach her how to make Samoan food so that he has a taste of home, and Hunk would totally bring baked goods and food for her and her band when she’s playing or touring. I have a feeling these two would be the drinking the soda together type of couple.

Lynn x Allura - Okay this one would be a bit hard. Lynn’s own insecurities could probably cause some contention here as she would probably feel that Allura is too high for her to date, or think that Allura think’s less of her because she’s a singer. I know Lynn can be needy, which is why I think they would have to work things out back and forth because of Lynn wanting to do do her singing but getting worried or jealous of Allura and the people around her. Especially if Allura can’t make her shows and the like. Though I do think they would figure things out in the end.

Lynn x Shiro -Lord I feel for this boy with Lynn. She would be all over him and probably trying her best to be his nurse in, er, more ways then one. Knowing Shiro he would certainly go to her concerts but I have to wonder if his missing arm would be a thing he would be shy about regarding being seen in public with her. Lynn though would point out how cool it was to have a boyfriend that is part robot, and that it makes him even more special and unique. I think this would be cute and dramatic at times.

Lynn x Romelle - To put it simply, Romelle would wear the I heart Lynn Minmay shirt all day long and mean it. I think Lynn would adore having her around because Romelle could play off Lynn’s more serious side but also be someone that she could teach songs to and experience life in a different way. She would find Romelle very cute and Romelle probably would love her singing.

Roy Fokker (Roy Focker)

Personality: Roy is a cocky sort of person but caring and a bit of a dork. He can be very serious, but also reckless and blunt. Once this man cares about a person he will do everything in his power to protect them. He’s a flirt and knows it, and has a randy and teasing sense of humor. Though when push comes to shove he can be a damn hero and stand up ready to take the hit for his friends or loved ones.

Roy x Keith -Well think of Sheith only with Shiro being way more cocky of himself and more willing to do things to freak Keith out and tease him. Roy would be be all over this boy just to watch him squirm. At the same time he would be very kind and caring to him, doing his best to get into the faces and take names of people that bothered or hurt him. He’d also probably ask Krolia if he could date her son, and then proceed to probably kidnap him for a month long vacation to some hidden island for fun times. Roy would be very protective of Keith and keep an eye on him when he’s flying and in regard to the blade, as he probably wouldn’t trust them at first. Also He’d probably walk out of the Garrison with Keith after Shiro vanished because he would quit before allowing them to Expel Keith on his watch.

Roy x Lance - For Lance...yeah Roy would be constantly trying to get Lance to become flustered. But he’d also tease him more and probably be someone to boost his ego, namely teaching him everything he knows about flying so he could beat Keith. Straight up he would actually be okay with the rivalry thing, though he would tell him not to push it too much, just use it as a way to get better. He’d more than likely also flirt with the poor boy a lot and get him to blush by freaking him out over a private com conversation. Also, screw it, he’d probably sing to Lance, because the boy can play guitar, and probably do it in Spanish just to show off. Also he’d be protective of him and put Lance behind him when it came to dealing with Lotor.

Roy x Pidge -Yeah he’d very much be toned down for her. Roy would play the total gentleman before her family. Going over to visit her at home, bringing her flowers and the like, etc. Privately though...I don’t know how much work Pidge would get done with him around. Though Roy would constantly be bragging about his small smart girlfriend, he’d also be wary about anyone that tried to hurt her, and more than likely he’d go with her on her missions to find her brother as he would want someone to have her back. I would expect him to be the one to embarrass the hell out of Pidge just because he would want to bug her and think it was cute when she freaked out.

Roy x Hunk - Hunk would be the one to make Roy flush. If anything I think Hunk would probably get a lot of Roy’s issues and have him talk about it. The two would probably sit around watching the sun set and just talk a lot. Knowing Roy he would try to help Hunk get over his fears and work with him in private to deal with any issues that he had, and I can’t see these two ever being angry at one another. Like the only thing I could see is if Roy was doing some dumb stunts and Hunk was worried he was going to crash or something, but that’s about it. Also I think Roy would be impressed by Hunks ability to make friends with the Galra and get them to work with him.

Roy x Allura -Yeah expect this guy to bridal carry her a lot. Roy would be very protective of Allura given her title and past. He’d also be there to listen to her and stand by her side through a lot of things. Also I would expect him to be very much the sort that would happily remind people that he’s dating her by laying a lot of kisses on her publicly. He also would make sure that people knew she was someone you didn’t screw with, and constantly would be trying to make her smile and laugh. I think Allura would be someone that could draw out the softer side of Roy as well and get him to face some of his own past issues with what drives him and his fear of commitment. It would be rather, er passionate at times.

Roy x Shiro -This would be a rather mature relationship. Roy would be someone who would defend Shiro to the death and probably would be very protective of him, especially after he came back. You think Iverson would just have a punched out eye, nah...Roy would break his nose, then go march on Senda’s office to demand the truth of where the hell Shiro was. I can see Shiro though getting to Roy’s softer nature as well and the two would balance each other out really nicely. Roy’s flirting and Shiro’s more serious nature would counter their own flaws and to be blunt, I’m not sure if Shiro would get much Sleep with Roy being his Boyfriend. He’s a tricky sort, willing to pretty much tease and taunt Shiro any way he can think of. Blushing would be all over the place for this pairing.

Roy x Romelle -Yeah see how protective of Pidge he is? Double that with Romelle. Because she lost everything he’d be very much wanting to keep her sheltered from any more trauma. He’d probably be very sweet to her, and would teach her how to fly and about earth culture, taking her for rides as well as getting her to not be scared of things. I think too that Romelle would be the sort of person that could make Roy less worried about committing to one person and probably connect to him on a different level.

Ben Dixion (Hayao Kakizaki)

Personality: Ben is jovial, gregarious and comedic, as well as kind and willing to stop conflicts when he could. While not as focused as Max is, Ben can be serious when he wants to, but he’s also more of a dork and isn’t great with flirting as it get’s him flustered. Basically think of a more dorky and social Hunk.

Ben x Keith -If you like Heith, or Hunk x Keith, then you’d like this. Ben would be sweet on Keith, trying to flirt but failing really hard at it. He’d probably have Max and Lance giving him tips and such of how to approach him. Ben would also be someone that Keith could talk with and who would listen. While he may not understand everything that is going on with Keith, he’d be there for him just the same, and always be ready to just sit there in silence if need be. As for Keith he’d probably over time open up to Ben, and just naturally sort of get to the point where all he would have to do is put his head on Ben’s shoulder to get him to know he needs some form of attention.

Ben x Lance - Poor Ben, I think these two dorks would have a hard time at first, because neither would know how to talk about how they felt. It would probably take someone just outright telling them both that they like one another for anything to start. But I think that it would end up rather cute. Ben would try to be the best boyfriend ever, sticking with Lance and wanting to meet his family and get to know them. I get the feeling that Lance would probably like Ben’s more open nature and willingness to try just about anything, also probably would enjoy the pranks they could pull off if they wanted to together.

Ben x Pidge -This would be cute as Ben would be willing to help Pidge all he could with her robots. He’d probably also be the person who would suggest taking time off to relax and enjoy herself some what. Since he’s a bit of a flushing type himself, he’d probably be overly happy with any attention that she gives him and more than likely would be ready to hang out and do whatever she wanted. Pidge in turn would probably give him confidence in his looks and make him feel that he’s good looking by giving him some forms of compliments.

Ben x Hunk -Hunk dates him self. The end. Well no actually not. Ben would probably get along great with Hunk as friends at first and it would be sort of a surprise to the both of them if they were to hook up. I would think that Ben would want to meet Hunk’s family and be bragging to them about how cool Hunk was. In turn I think Hunk would help Ben on his confidence and the two would be totally ready to defend one another as battle buddies.

Ben x Allura -Ben would never feel that he was good enough for the Princess. It would not be an easy relationship as he would always be second guessing if he was the right person for her, or if she was going out with him out of pity or what. Thing is though Ben would totally be a sweet heart to her, trying to find a way to get her flowers back, trying to get her to find a way to not be so angry at the Galra, as well as learning all he could about the Altean culture and way of living. In turn Allura would be there for Ben by being her kind confident self and always have a way to boost him up. This may have more angst in it but it would be sweet.

Ben x Shiro -Poor boy wouldn’t know what to do, because how could anyone as cool as Shiro like him? Ben would hide all that doubt behind a smile and a laugh though. He and Shiro would be buddies most of the time. I do think that like Allura there would be angst there, but it would be less because Shiro would take the time to show Ben all the things he could do for him. And Ben in turn would do his best to be there for Shiro, even through all the nightmares and pain that Shiro’s gone through. Honestly I think when Shiro got back he’d be the first to run up and hug him crying and happy that he was back and alive -regardless of relationship status.

Ben x Romelle -This would be cute. Again like Pidge he could get very flustered but he’d also be someone that cares about how Romelle is doing and her feelings. He’d probably be the first one to want to make sure that she’s enjoying earth and let her know that if she needs time to cry or talk about her brother or her family, he’d be there for her. I can also see him probably wanting to punch Lotor in the face after he found out about what happened to her. Romelle for her part would be making Ben blush like crazy, any time she says something about how kind or sweet he is. Any show of affection would drive the boy into palpitations and he would happily take any attention that she gives him. Hand holding would be a big thing for this couple, along with Ben braiding her hair.

Miriya Parina ( Milia Fallyna )

Personality: Miriya is a proud woman who has a lot of honor in her blood. She’s cunning and can be ruthless, but also compassionate and caring. She is know for being very strong willed but also someone who can take orders. She get’s a bit confused at people flirting with her since she’s grown up as a warrior and has never gotten compliments in this fashion so she’s usually a bit surprised by this.

Miriya x Keith -Well this would be interesting because Miriya is a lot like Keith’s mom, only she’s a bit more head strong. I think these two would get along well, but Keith would have to take the reign of being the softer person in the relationship. Miriya would certainly be protective of him, possibly to a fault, and also be impressed if he could beat her in combat. I think it would be a very intense relationship as the two would be finding one another as they discovered themselves and could make for a lot of drama. Given both are part alien in nature it would also be a connection between them.

Miriya x Lance -On the other side of things there would be this relationship. Miriya would certainly be smitten with most of Lance’s dumb flirting as she hasn’t had that sort of interaction before. Lance would probably treat her sweetly, and try to be the best guy possible for her, teaching her everything he could about earth. I think he probably would make a gamer out of her and the too would probably end up having some, er, interesting video game sessions at times. Miriya on the other hand would more than likely be proud of Lance and want to help him become a stronger leader. She would probably also get more easily jealous with other girls around him, so that could lead to issues.

Miriya x Pidge - an odd one. Miriya would at first not know what to make of Pidge, but find her a bold person and a brave one at that. I think this would be a slow building thing that comes out of these two ladies slowly learning about one another and Pidge helping Miriya in regard to her own uncertainty of who she is, and Miriya wanting to protect Pidge from being hurt due to her missing family. It would be a sweet thing that would come about over a longer time.

Miriya x Hunk -A sweet one that has a bit of drama to it. Miriya at first wouldn’t want to be around Hunk because she would think that she could hurt him with her more brash personality. But I think that over time his kindness and boldness when he wants to would win her over. Come to think of it I think that she would probably get to embrace earth quicker with Hunk because he would show her the best of humanity and talk to her about family and friends and tell her a lot that she’s a wonderful person and she should be proud of who she is. Miriya would be extra protective of Hunk and probably threaten anyone that comes near him because she would be a bit over the top on that end of things. Over time I think she would calm down about it.

Miriya x Allura - This one would have Tension. Given that Miriya would probably be connected to the Galra through the Zentradei I think at first this would be a relationship that has issues. Allura wouldn’t trust her at first, same with Miriya regarding Allura. Cracks would happen when Miriya saw how strong Allura really is and her compassion and mercy for the Zentradei, where as Allura would slowly recognize that Miriya for all her bravado is honestly someone that cares and loves very deeply and is willing to defend those that can’t defend themselves. Ultimately I think it would take the crew telling them to “Kiss already damn it!” to finally clue them both in that they like each other. After that, well it would be a very strong relationship with these two ladies growing with each other over the course of the war.

Miriya x Shiro - Not sure how intense this would be. Shiro would be way more gentle with her than Keith in regard to their interactions. Again I would think it would be a slow burn, but an intense one at that because of Miriya’s own personality. She would probably fall in love with Shiro due to his kindness but also the fact that he could have beat her and he doesn’t. I also think that again you’ll see some ups and downs with this couple and in private it’s more heated then you would think. Shiro would bring out the compassion and care in Miriya making her a better leader, and in turn Miriya would show Shiro a different side of the Zentradei and it’s culture, as well as being someone who had his back no matter how tough things got.

Miriya x Romelle - Honestly not sure about this one working. Romelle can be serious and intense, but I think that Miriya would be the main force in this relationship. She would probably keep Romelle very close to her and be overly protective. At the same time she would gain a softer side to help Romelle out, mean while she would be impressed with Romelle’s bravery and guts and want her to learn to fight. It would actually be a cute thing for both girls to deal with their feelings all due to the fact that both are dorks in their own right. I think Romelle could get the more motherly side of Miriya out and I think that Miriya could get the warrior side out of Romelle.

So that is what I have for the main cast of Macross/Robotech in ships with Voltron. Wondering if anyone would care about the other series, like Robotech II or Robotech III, or even Macross Plus, Macross 7, Macross Frontier or the newest with Macross Delta?
