Confession

I suffer with a rare form of chronic neurological pain which causes 24/7 pain and a fucked back. At Christmas I was home for the holidays and my back flared so badly I nearly called 999. I crawled out of bed to get ice and go see my dad and get his advice. He said there was nothing anyone could do despite it being obvious I could barely move. And then we heard keys in the lock and he told me to go back to my room cause he didn't want my mum seeing me in pain. So they stayed up watching tv whilst I cried and writhed and whimpered for hours with pain that was unbearable. I don't think I can go home again.
