"You're dramatic." Dean turns his face back, and even though he still feels as if it's with his tail between his legs, he meets Cas' gaze again, watching the glint in his eyes, the pull of his brow, the way every word flits through him. His voice is small; "That’s my answer—that’s a yes. I am. Yeah, man, you already know I am.”
Cas' response is the brush of their lips together again, eyelids fluttering shut with his arm curled around the back of his head, the other stuck between them still, glass and knuckles knocking into Dean's sternum all the same. Someone hums, they make a noise together. Cas licks into his mouth; he tastes like flesh, like wheat, like water.
When someone turns their head in the dark, their mouths slot together better, and Dean no longer feels the bridge of his nose being broken, like his teeth are going to break through the tissue of his lips, and he almost misses it. He would, if not for the way Cas groans into him, makes up for it by slipping his wedged arm out and wrapping it the rest of the way around Dean's body, the bottle knocking into his shoulder blade, pulling their bodies flush together. Dean fixes their feet and shoves his thigh between Cas' legs; he feels him half-hard beneath borrowed pajamas, and he shivers.
Cas parts barely an inch, moving against his mouth when he speaks, "Are you cold?"
Dean hesitates, and then he nods. "Get in the bed then," Cas says.

I haven't got the time to work on my fics lately, especially last week. I was busy and my brain couldn't focus on that. So I didn't even write a single word. And I miss it. Fortunately, next week will be calmer so I'll be able to.
In the meantime, if you didn't get the chance to read those, here are the last 6 fanfics I wrote (every fics are based on canon with little changes obviously), each link is on the titles:

Thanked as deserved: Post 15x19
Castiel stays at the bunker, while Sam and Eileen go to hunt what happens to be a new kind of wraith. And Dean goes to work on his own werewolf case alone, he needs time to think now that Cas is back from the Empty. When he comes back from the hunt, he has a small cut on his cheek and his muscles are sore, Castiel offers to take care of the last one and thanks him for saving people, saving the world, like he deserves it. He doesn’t just massage his back.
Inspiring Fanfiction: Post 10x05, I updated this one with a 2nd smutty chapter
Dean discovers fanfics about Destiel, thanks to Marie, the high school girl that directed the show about their lives. She sent him some fic links to read, when she saw his reaction about Destiel. That’s how Dean ends up reading the one fiction that disturbs him in a way he couldn’t have imagine. And then I have to face Cas at some point.

The brothers are back on good terms with their mother after the Alpha vampire was killed by Sam at the British Men of Letters' headquarters. Dean forgave her for working with them. He got scared of losing her again. Plus he - they - almost lost Cas not so long ago. So he decided that those reasons, and his mother being back from the dead should be good enough to celebrate Christmas this year.
Need for comfort: 14x08
Jack just died. Sam leaves the kitchen first after their drinking session to mourn Jack together as a family, leaving Dean and Cas alone. They drink a little bit more, just the two of them. Then Cas decides to leave the kitchen, but Dean calls him once he is in the hallway. The angel turns around and comes back to Dean.
There is nothing stupid about you and me: 10x09
Dean and Cas are on their burger date while Sam searches on how to find Claire. They talk about the Mark, but their conversation doesn’t just stop there like on the show. Instead, Dean tells Cas about the high school kids’ show about their lives, based on Chuck’s books, Sam and he attended to. He even mentions Marie and her view on Cas and Dean’s relationship, allowing him to know how Cas feels about it.
Healing guilt: Post 11x03
Dean refuses to be healed by Cas, after Cas beat him when he was under Rowena’s dog spell, because he feels guilty about almost killing Cas when he had the Mark of Cain. But Cas thinks about a plan to heal him anyway without Dean knowing.

Prespective: 3rd person pov

(Readers age is not specified but preferably in their 20's)
Summary: Team Free Will 2.0 is trying to teach Jack more about hunting and so they take him with them (much to Deans protest) on another hunt, just a simple vamp hunt, but once they arrive they begin to uncover the town mysteries and secrets.
(English is not my first language so feel free to point out any mistake you see, this is my first fic so please leave some constructive criticism if you can)
Chapter 1: Welcome to Mystic Falls
Everyone was was relaxing on their own inside the bunker, Sam was on hi laptop searching for a case, [Name] and Jack were watching a movie in the living room, the only people who weren't here were Dean and Castiel who were on a supply run at the moment.
Once they arrived, as if on que, Sam spoke up "Hey, guys I think I found a case" [Name] and Jack paused the movie and walked over to where Sam was in the library, Castiel and Dean quickly walked down the stairs and stood behind sam along side [Name] and Jack. Dean set the grocery bag on the table as Sam spoke again. "A woman was found dead at a town called "Mystic Falls" with her blood completely drained, no sign of struggle was found anywhere in the scene but they did find bite marks on the victims neck.
"So you're thinking a vamp did this?" Dean said "Seem's so" Sam replied "A bit weird for the victim not to fight back at least a bit though" said [Name].
"Doesn't matter, let's go over there and gank the son of a b!tch and the rest of its nest, Jack you stay here and wait till we get back" Dean said whilst pointing a finger at the young Nephilim "But I can help! I've gotten much better at controlling my powers now!"
"No but's you're staying here and that's final." Jack frowned and looked down at his feet, Sam felt bad for the young boy and took Dean aside and Castiel followed them. "I think we should let him come with us, it could be a good learning opportunity for him, plus, he's been cooped up in the bunker for days now going outside and getting some fresh air would be good for him" Sam suggested "That's not the point, he's dangerous to others and himself, we can't risk somebody else getting hurt because of him"
Castiel spoke up in Jack's defense "I understand your concern Dean, but Jack doesn't try to do these things on purpose, let him come with us and Sam and I will keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't lose control. Dean sighed loudly before responding "Fine" he said, sounding defeated.
The three walked back over to Jack and [Name] "Both of you get your stuff ready and meet at the car in 5" Dean said "I can come with you?" The Nephilim seamed to beam at the thought "Yeah but don't get too excited" Jack didn't seem too upset at Dean's comment, he was just glad he could come along with everyone. "Come with me, I can show you what you'll need for the hunt" said [Name] as they walked into the hallway, Jack following behind them. Sam headed to his room to prepare, Castiel headed straight to the car, not needing to prepare much, and Dean went into his room to get his duffel bag.
Once everyone was ready they met up at the car and got inside, Dean driving while blasting classic hard rock, Sam riding shotgun and complaining about how loud the music was, and the other three riding back while [Name] tries to introduce the two angels to a car game to try and pass the time, the town wasn't too far but with the brothers constant bickering, it sure as he'll felt like it.
Once you all arrived at Mystic Falls it was already pretty late, Sam began to search for any affordable motels in the area and Dean had gone on a food run with Cass. Sam got two rooms, one for him and his brother, and the other for [Name] and Jack knowing that Cass didn't sleep at all. Once Dean got back, everyone was waiting in one of the two rooms (Sam and Dean's) so they can all research the towns history and visit the morgue tomorrow. "You guys find anything on the town?" "Yeah, looks like this isn't the first time something like this has happened" [Name] said "How far back does it go?" Dean said as he placed the bag of food on the nearby table "Well there are incidents that dating back to the 1400's and farther" "It says that on here too" Sam says "Seems like this town has been plagued with vampires for a really long time now" he continued with his brows furrowed. "Well alright, everyone head to their rooms, and by that I mean you two" Dean said pointing two fingers at [Name] Jack "And we'll head to the morgue tomorrow and ask around the sherrifs department tomorrow" Jack and [Name] got up and took their food before heading out.
The next day Jack and [Name] woke up earlier than expected and so they decided to get some breakfast, but before they could do that, they heard some deputies talk about another attack that happned last night with bite marks and and the blood completely drained, they overheardthem talk about the location which was in the middle of the woods, they were about to tell Cass and the borthers they heard Dean yelling "CASS WHAT THE HELL?!" they both opened the door to see what happned only to walk in on Cass siting on the edge of Dean's bed watching TV and Dean looking startled while Sam simply laughed at Dean's reaction. Jack looked confused as [Name] rolled their eyes at the scene before them. "Stop messing around, there was another attack last night that looks the exact same as the last one" The brothers quickly got up alongside Cass. "Go put your suit on so we can head out to the scene, which is where exactly?" Dean asked, upon telling them the location they all got ready and headed to the scene.
Once they all got there, they flashed their fake FBI badges at a deputy who in turn called the sheriff over. "Sherrif Forbes, and you are?" They all introduced themselves to her. "Aren't you two a little young to be FBI" "Were new, this is our first real case" [Name] said while slightly glancing at Jack. "And what do the FBI want with an animal attack?" Said a masculine voice, from behind the sheriff emerged a tall man with dark, he wore a black leather jacket on a black shirt with regular jeans "And your are?" Dean asked "Damon Salvatore, civillian consultant, now answer my question, what does the FBI want with an animal attack" the man, who the team have recently come to know is named Damon, asks again with impatience and a passive aggressive smile. "With all due respect sir, it's a private matter we can't discuss" Sam says "Well, sorry I asked" a sarcastic smile was visible on Damon's face as he turned on his heel and walked back over to the body.
"Follow me" said the sheriff. She lead them to the body. Dean bent down to get a closer look as the sheriff told them the details "A couple hitchhikers found the body this morning but judging by the temperature, he's been dead for a while now." Dean reached his hand and checked on the bite mark located on the man's neck, the bite marks looked cleaner than all the other vamps they've faced before, it was odd but he brushed it off. He got up and asked if they could get a copy of the autopsy report and she said they could drop by the morgue and pick it up later to which Dean offered a smile that left almost as quickly as it came, Sam stepped in a few second's later "Well thank you for your time, let us know if you find anything else" he hand them a card with his number on it and leaves with the rest of his team.
Damon however felt as if there was something more, something they weren't telling them "You okay?" Asked Forbes, Damon quickly turned his head in her direction "Uh yeah I'm fine Liz" she put her hand on his back before saying "Well I need to ask the hospital for a copy of the autopsy report to give to the Agents" she then took her arm and walked away. Damon knew something was up, and he was gonna figure it one way or another.
The group headed back to the motel but Dean said he would drop by the morgue to get the autopsy report to which they all agreed. Once Dean left the motel and headed to his car, he heard footsteps approaching, but before he could do anything that person quickly turned him around and pinned him to the car. Dean looked at the attacker and soon recognized his face, it was Damon, the consultant from the crime scene "The hell do you think you're doing?!" Dean shouted, Damon looked him dead in the eye as his pupils began to slightly dilate "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

oh I Love fics like these. Partly for the ridiculousness of when Dean explains to Sam what’s been going on for the past 10 years nothing has changed. Castiel thought back to when he had dragged Dean into that alley.
"I rebelled for you, you are not going to turn around and turn yourself in to the people who are trying to end humanity." He had said, gripping Dean's collar tight. Dean looked up at him, his face bloodied and swollen. Castiel couldn't help but feel so much anger for the man in front of him.
Castiel was shaken from his thought by Dean's deep voice,
"So, Cass, how's your first double bacon cheese burger?" Dean asked, taking another bite from his own. Castiel looked down at his food that had yet to be touched, he tilted his head.
"Do humans actually enjoy this? There is so much... grease.. It seems unhealthy." Cass said. Dean pulled Cass's basket of food closer to himself and grabbed some fries.
I'm begging for you to take my hand
Cass lost himself in thought again as the three men walked back to the Impala. He thought about his time in Purgatory. He thought about what had led him there and about how desperately Dean wanted to help him.
"Dean... GO!" Cass shouted at him. Dean then lost his grip on Castiel's hand and the man who Castiel felt so many... feelings for disappeared in front of his eyes. Castiel fell to his back on the rocks and stared at the grey sky above him. "Goodbye, Dean..." He whispered to no one. He squeezed his blade in his hand as a vampire jumped on top of him, gnashing its teeth. Castiel cut it's head of with a slash.
"Hey, Cass, do you want to come back to the motel with us or did you have other plans?" Sam asked, Cass looked away from the window and made eye contact with Sam in the rearview mirror.
"I can come back with you guys. I would really like to help you on this case." He said.
Wreck my plans
Castiel was sitting on the bed flipping through the limited channels that this motel had.
Castiel thought about his Garrison. His brothers and sisters who he had spent many millennia with. How most of them had been killed, some even by his own hand. How he had done some of these things in the best interest for the two brothers. (mostly the older of the two...)
"Cass, you've seemed kind of out of it today." Dean commented. Castiel looked around the room, noticing that Sam was no longer in the room.
"I have been thinking, Dean... About how no matter what... through all these ups and downs you still consider me your family." Castiel said, his voice shaking slightly.
"Cass... We've talked about this. No chick flick moments." Dean warned. Cass smiled, looking into Dean's eyes.
"Dean, I love you." He said. Dean's face turned red and he looked down at the papers in front of him.
"Cass... I-I think I love you to." He said. Cass's smile grew and was suddenly pulling Dean up and into a kiss. Dean gripped Cass's coat and kissed him back. It was intense and passionate and neither of the men could believe that this was finally happening. After everything they had been through... Finally...

My friend Cati @icouldbereadingnow and I have been working on this fic since literally January 2021 (and it's now 106k and still going in draft form lol), and we wanted to start posting for the 5th! It's a fix-it that starts in the barn with Dean close to death and meanders its way through Dean and Cas figuring out how to live in the post-Chuck world. Posted to her AO3 (because I do not have one).
Summary:
By the time Sam and Dean take their father’s old vampire case, Castiel has been back in heaven for months, aiding Jack with rebuilding Heaven and separating Earth from both the powers of angels and demons who might try to control it. But with Dean near death, he can’t follow Jack’s new orders that forbid angels from meddling in human affairs. Reunited, but with Castiel’s deathbed confession still unresolved between them and the trauma of the past decades heavy on their shoulders, Dean and Castiel must try to heal.

Trope Definitions 2023
Roommates - Dean and Cas living together in a shared house, or iterations thereof.
S15 Fix-Its - Fics focussed on the last season of Supernatural and changing it, can also include
Kid Fics - Dean and Cas (and co.) as children.
Mutual Pining - fics in which both characters are pining for the other without them realising initially.
Magical/Fantasy - any kind of magic/fantasy, including but not limited to witches, werewolves, vampires, elves, fairies, etc.
Hurt/Comfort - fics in which the characters are hurt (physically, emotionally, mentally etc) and then comforted.
Angst With A Happy Ending - fics which contain a lot of angst but end with the characters being happy.
Case Fic - fics which focus on a case (i.e. monster of the week)

5) What is the perfect environment for you to write in?
Low stress! that's really it, if I'm stressing about work or life or bills or people being Mad At Me, it's hard to think about creating and writing gets quite difficult!
18) What is a line/scene you’re really proud of? Give us the DVD commentary for that scene.
This is from a fic I wrote mostly in 2019, called "to see or be seen", and it's all about the bit between seasons 3 and 4 of the magnus archives.
I'm a sucker for pining over someone in a coma, and the utter helplessness of it. I wanted to explore that, because after season 1, most of the show just... failed to scare me. Not in a bad way! But it was a horror show, and I got used to the kind of horror it produced, and kind of stopped being scared. But that season 4 teaser? The little conversation Martin has with Jon's unresponsive corpse body in a bed? CHILLS.
I'm not wild about ships or anything, so while this fic IS a pining fic, it's also mostly about the isolation Martin feels. Maybe he was finally starting to feel important, starting to see a path forward- and then what happens? Tim dies, Jon's gone for now (and simultaneously right there, how lonely), and Melanie and Basira are off doing their own bullshit. Who is Martin anymore? He has no friends, he has no home. How can he identify himself? How can he distinguish himself from the anguish of all those stories in the Archives, of losing his friends, of watching the object of his infatuation waste away and being able to do nothing?
I think that dissociation of self is illustrated best here, where Martin realizes there are no mirrors at all, in this empty haunted London. These dreams that get more real, more difficult to ignore each night, and he doesn't even have the option to be himself, to be a self. I set it up earlier in the fic- did you catch it? What do you think? Does it send chills down your spine the way it did mine, when I first decided to take wing mirrors off cars?
21) What is the one fic that got away?
there's two ways to interpret this, so I'll go with both.
the first one is a BBC Sherlock fic where John Watson is a vampire, and Sherlock ends up working alongside him on a case- John is faster, stronger, deadlier, and can smell people where a human might not see them.
I don't remember what the case was, but I remember Sherlock being completely hearteyes over strong, fast, smart, observant vampire!John. at one point Sherlock convinces John to drink from him right before going into a building full of dangerous men, and then John's like "WOAH" and realizes that Sherlock ate a huge fudgy brownie and slammed an enormous espresso-laced coffee in front of John so that when John drank from him, he'd have the advantage of sugar and caffeine.
I think it got deleted because I can't find it anymore, it was up in like 2014 and I think about it all the time.
the second one is a fic I wrote and never finished and probably never will, where Castiel and Jack Harkness (both eternal undying beings) keep meeting at different points in their neverending lives.
The story was meant to examine how Castiel is made for this, prepared for it even- how Castiel has people around him who are eternal too, how any biology or essential makeup of Castiel himself would obviously be ready to endure that long, and how in contrast, Jack struggles with the burden of eternity. Jack, who is human, doesn't have the physical or mental wherewithal to outlast everyone he's ever known and everything he's ever done, but he has to, because he has no choice.
I know I had a climactic scene in mind when I started that fic, but I have no idea where it was supposed to end, so I never finished it. Sad. Maybe someday I'll post it, unfinished, and see what happens.
