After losing the gold and fleeing the Outer Banks, Season 3 finds the Pogues washed ashore on a desert island that, for a brief moment, seems like an idyllic home. Officially deemed “Poguelandia,” the island’s newest residents spend their days fishing, swimming, and reveling in the carefree lifestyle of their temporary dwelling. But things quickly go south for John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, JJ, and Cleo when they find themselves once again caught up in a race for the treasure, quite literally running for their lives. They’re broke and far from home, they can’t trust anyone, Ward and Rafe are hungry for revenge, and there’s a ruthless Caribbean Don who will stop at nothing to find the bounty. Was the treasure ever within their reach? Or was it all a trap to stop them once and for all? Either way, it’s the Pogues against the world – and the only way out is together.

The voice of Evangelical homophobia (on the show, not in real life)
Remember Nick Arapoglou? He plays the church parent in Episode 3.4 who tells Kelvin that, with all the rumors "swirling around him," his relationship with Keefe "looks a little strange."
No hard feelings, Kelvin.
The real-life Nick is a gay ally. A mainstay of the Atlanta theater scene, he starred in the queer-themed Legend of Georgia McBride in 2017, and as two gay Muppets in Avenue Q in 2023.
His tv credits include episodes of The Walking Dead, Florida Man, The Staircase, The Vampire Diaries, and Let's Stay Together. Probably some gay characters in there, also.
His wife Caroline is also an actor, and also a gay ally.
Email Danny McBride, and tell him that Nick should return in future seasons as the voice of evangelical homophobia. Gay fans need a villain to hate.
Other than "let's have them break up a second time!" McBride, of course.
Caroline Arapoglou is a rising American TV and film actress by her profession. She made her name among the audience from projects like Stranger Things (2016), Outer Banks (2020), and Atlanta (2016).
