THE UNOFFICIAL ST. LOUIS BLUES PRIMER PART 1 : FORWARDS
JORDAN KYROU (Rouzy)
Info: #25, RW, STL 35th in 2016 (listed as a center ? does not play center)
Last season: 37 goals + 73 pts (career high goals!)
History: played a handful of games in the 18-19 season, but his real rookie season was in 19-20 and was cut short due to covid. Broke out for real in the 20-21 season and in the 2022 offseason signed an 8 year contract extension !! Won the fastest skater competition at the 2021 all star game!
Profile: great goal scorer at his best, often passes for the "perfect play" instead of shooting. Not super physical
Other: besties with Robert Thomas, they even signed matching contracts <3
ROBERT THOMAS (A) (Thommer) (Tommer?)
Info: #18, C, STL 20th in 2017
Last season: 18 goals + 65 pts (team lead in assists !)
History: played most of the 18-19 season and won the cup as a rookie! Had a good season considering he was on a team of more dominant veterans, very notably received That One Hit from Krug in the SCF
Profile: Not a massive goal scorer but definitely can score, more of a playmaker. Struggles with overpassing for the perfect play. Resident faceoff man post-ROR trade.
Other: besties with Kyrou :)
PAVEL BUCHNEVICH (Buch)
Info: #89, LW, NYR 75th in 2013
Last season: 26 goals + 67 pts
History: traded to Blues in 2021 and immediately had a career season. Was good on the Rangers, is even better on the Blues.
Profile: Great goal scorer! Very good shorthanded this season, already has 2 SHG! Hasn't been his best year overall but would be surprised if he didn't get at least 20 goals
Other: has never played a full 82 game season
BRANDON SAAD (Saader)
Info: #20, LW, CHI 43rd in 2011
Last season: 19 goals + 27 pts
History: won 2 cups with the Blackhawks in 2013 and 2015. Signed with the Blues in 2021 as a free agent
Profile: very consistent 20-ish goal scorer! Has been moved around the lineup quite a bit this season but is usually on the second or third line, great depth goal scorer
Other: not super relevant but inch resting to me, he was traded from Chicago to Columbus in the infamous Artemi Panarin trade
BRAYDEN SCHENN (C) (Schenner)
Info: #10, C, LAK 5th in 2009
Last season: 21 goals + 65 pts
History: important piece in the 18-19 cup season, scored a goal in game 7 of the SCF! Was an alternate captain for 3 seasons under ROR, currently his first season as captain :)
Profile: Usually a 20-ish goal scorer, production has suffered this year from being moved around the second and third lines
Other: I'm still jumpscared by him being in 2013-era Flyers fics to this day. He played on the Flyers with his brother Luke for several (4?) seasons !!
JAKE NEIGHBOURS (Jakey) (?)
Info: #63, LW, STL 26th in 2020
History: Technically in his sophomore season, was unexpectedly called up for 43 games last season + made the roster full time this year out of camp. Worked his way up from the fourth line to the first line before settling down to the second line after the coaching change. He's having whatever the opposite of a sophomore slump is! It's definitely been a breakout season for him so far
Profile: Good goal scorer, was briefly leading the team in goals. Very physical guy, doesn't take many penalties considering he's not afraid to throw himself around
Other: Roommates with rookie goalie Hofer, and they both spent the Christmas holidays with the Schenn family! They do a very cute little thing during the goalie headbutt line :)
SAMMY BLAIS
Info: #79, LW, STL 176th in 2014
Last season: 9 goals + 20 pts in 31 games post-trade deadline
History: Played on the 18-19 cup-winning team (was #9), traded to NYR (for Buchnevich) in 2021, scored NO GOALS in 2 seasons there, traded back in 2023 and scored career high 9 goals post trade deadline.
Profile: Usually a physical player, worked well on the relentless 2019 team. Struggling to find his place on the current team, sometimes a healthy scratch
KEVIN HAYES (Hayesy)
Info: #12, C, CHI 24th in 2010 (listed as LW ? but has been playing center)
Last season: 18 goals + 54 pts (PHI)
History: Drafted by Chicago but played for Boston College (apparently had an injury where he almost lost his leg????). Played several years on the Rangers, about ten minutes in Winnipeg, played several years in Philadelphia, and got traded to the Blues in the 2023 offseason for a couple of rocks (a 6th round pick). Part of the controversial trade that made Krug invoke his no-trade clause.
Profile: Good depth scoring and fantastic faceoff man. Decently physical player and he battles well enough that he's already got 10 goals to show for it.
Other: cousin of Keith Tkachuk! His brother (former player, retired in 2019) unfortunately passed away in 2021 and every time he scores, he points to the sky for him :,)
KASPERI KAPANEN (Kappy)
Info: #42, RW, PIT 22nd in 2014
Last season: 15 goals + 34 pts (PIT + STL)
History: Drafted by the Penguins but was traded to the Leafs where he played 5 seasons, then traded BACK to the Penguins where he played 2 1/2 seasons, then put on waivers. The Blues picked him up in 2023 and he put up a solid 14 pts in 23 games. He fought his way up from the minors and has played exclusively in the NHL since the 18-19 season.
Profile: Good depth player. Very fast but doesn't shoot very much. Currently on the fourth line, usually higher but was moved down as other players (notable Neighbours) moved up the lineup.
NATHAN WALKER (Walks)
Info: #26, LW, WSH 89 in 2014 (currently playing center, my sources are conflicting but he's currently playing center so. he might be a center)
Last season: 2 goals + 10 pts
History: He's Australian! He was born in Wales! He holds basically all of the Australian records since he's one of like 4 Aussie players ever. He played his first NHL games in the 2018 playoffs and won the cup the with Capitals! Unfortunately did not play enough games for his name to be on the cup. He's technically only played a handful of games this year and started with the AHL team but he's been on the team for a few years now and he just signed a 2-year one-way extention, so you'll probably be seeing more of him :)
Profile: Physical player despite being undersized (5'9). Not a big scorer but provides a major physical presence on a not very physical team.
Other: look at his instagram right now his kids are so goddamn adorable
ALEXEY TOROPCHENO (Torpo)
Info: #13, RW, STL 113th in 2017
Last season: 10 goals + 19 pts
History: Played in the KHL in 20-21 due to issues with the Blues AHL affiliate (goodbye San Antonio Rampage, fuck VGK). Made his Blues debut when a covid outbreak on the team forced them to call up a number of players.
Profile: Physical player! Kinda massive (6'6) so he can and WILL run guys over. Fast and relentless player who doesn't give up the puck easily. Mostly a 4th line grinder but he WORKS on that 4th line. Great penalty killer, already has 2 shorthanded goals on the season
Other: this has less of an impact now because it's just him and buch, but back when there were numerous russian players i always called him my favorite russian. this still stands <3
OSKAR SUNDQVIST (Sunny)
Info: #70, C, PIT 81st in 2012
Last season: 10 goals + 28 pts (DET + MIN)
History: The Blues offseason signing of the century. Played a handful of games with the Penguins in the 16-17 season when they won the cup, but didn't play enough games for his name to be on it. Signed to the Blues 18-19 team on a one-year deal and had his best season to date, won the cup for real this time to boot. Traded to the Red Wings in 2022, then traded to the Wild at the 2023 deadline.
Profile: As a center, he's a solid faceoff man, a solid physical presence, and I think he really exudes everything that worked about the 2019 team. Good defensive forward on the fourth line.
Other: A huge fan of the STL MLS team! Went to games even before he had officially signed here. I think the entire city of STL likes this guy he seems cool. Also the Sundqvist + Walman for Leddy + Witkowski trade is known for being absolutely awful. jake walman if ur reading this pls come back
And that's all for the forwards! This is what the roster currently looks like (1/14/24) and other players who are called up/down frequently will be in a separate section

Wedding group : commissioned by Capt.Thomas Hayes. Union Barracks, Kilmacthomas by National Library of Ireland on The Commons
A handsome military group celebrating the nuptials of Captain Thomas Hayes? There is, however, less than military precision on display - some wearing`gloves and others holding them, some wearing caps and other bareheaded!
With thanks to various contributors, including our own Carol Maddock, it seems certain that this is a wedding party shot from the June wedding of Captain Thomas Hayes (of Union Barracks, Kilmacthomas) and Miss Anne "Nan" Walsh (of Tramore). Along with other groomsmen and bridesmaids is apparently Commandant Patrick "Paddy" Paul (of Waterford). Based on investigations by ofarrl, it seems certain that the group are pictured at the door to Kelly's Hotel in Tramore. Spanking new at the time of this shot, the hotel was felled and rebuilt in the 1980s, and is now the site of the Majestic Hotel...

Bucky Barnes x reader
Bucky Masterlist
Part 2
Summary: You and Bucky, a firefighter, have an interesting first meeting after a fire breaks out in your apartment.
Word Count: 725
Warnings: mentions of fire, smoke, smoke inhalation
A/N: i thought of Bucky as a firefighter and this is what I came up with :) Just imagine he’s wearing turnout gear in the gif above :0
Tumblr media
“Fire in the Summers Apartment complex 56th St. Engine 67. EMS 67.”
Everybody ran in and quickly put on their turnout gear. The single alarm meant that only one station was needed, but that could change once they surveyed the fire. Within minutes they were on the road, making their way to the apartment complex.
Once arriving they saw many people outside of the apartment complex looking at the building as smoke and fire bled out of it.
“Everyone we’re going to need you to step back, if you have any smoke inhalation or burns please see Jackson and Foster over there.” Said the Captain, as he was walking over to the crowd of coughing people. “I’m looking for the owner.”
A lady appeared from the big crowd, “hi, I’m the owner, Jules Carter.”
“Is there anyone else inside?” The Captain asked.
“I don’t see (y/n) (y/l/n) or Erika Harley, they live together on the 5th floor and Colin Thomas, he lives on the 2nd floor.”
“Thank you ma’am.” He turned over to his team and continued, “Barnes and Hayes, you’re on search and rescue. We have 2 victims left inside of the building on the 5th floor, (y/n) and Erika. The floor of the fire. Go in and get them. Samuels and Frank go to find James; he is on the second floor. Everyone else hit the fire from the outside!”
With their commands, they all ran into the building to find their victims, Barnes and Hayes took the stairs up to the 5th floor extinguishing every fire they came across.
“Barnes? Search and Rescue? Isn’t that below your pay grade?” Hayes snickers, trying to bother Barnes but that wasn’t happening. Lives were at stake, Bucky wasn’t going to let his sneers endanger lives.
“Shut up Hayes, I hear someone.” Barnes says before they reach the 5th floor. Opening the door, a huge wave of fire comes their way, making them unable to get in. They extinguish the fire as they make their way on the 5th floor, being greeted by you and your roommate.
“What happened here?” A firefighter said, walking up behind you.
“Grease fire.” Your best friend responded.
“A grease fire that could’ve been put out easier if you didn’t put water on it!” You yelled before aggressively coughing.
Hayes was already trying to put the fire out as Bucky went over to help you two.
“Okay okay, let’s get you two down stairs with some oxygen.” The firefighter said, guiding you and your best friend downstairs of the apartment complex.
“Watch her raise the rent because of this!” You complained, continuing down the stairs.
“Barnes, you don’t want to stay back and put out the fire?” Hayes called out trying to make Bucky jealous.
“I have to get these two downstairs before they inhale any more smoke. I’ll send up Samuels or Frank if they have found Colin.” Bucky replied, simply ignoring him as much as possible.
Bucky took you and your roommate down the stairs, so you could get out the building. “So Barnes huh?” You said as you took a couple steps.
“Yeah.”
“So you do this for a living, walking perfectly fine people down to get oxygen.” You teased, before coughing again, making Bucky laugh.
“The both of you aren’t perfectly fine and I do a lot of other things on the job as well.” Bucky responded.
Remains of the fire from upstairs bled through the walls and stopped the three of you from walking. Bucky took out his fire extinguisher and extinguished the fire enough so you all could pass. “Let’s get you two out of here.”
Bucky helped the both of you to the EMS car so they could check you out then went to report to his chief. He was about to go back to his partner when you waved him over.
“Yes? Are you okay?” He urgently asked looking at the both of you , which Erika nodded knowing you wanted to talk to him more.
“Maybe next time we’ll meet again and you can save me from severe smoke inhalation again.” You joked, taking your oxygen mask off.
Bucky laughs, putting your mask right where it belongs. “I hope we meet again, but not because of a burning building.” He smiled before dashing right back into the burning apartment.

You said all slashers look cuddly! Could you please elaborate on that? Also, what other 'bad guys' you think are cuddly?
Cuz they areeeeeee! XD
Like- Bubba+Thomas+Jed and Jason, obviously. Of course. They're big and squishy with wonderful big forearms to go around you. What's not to love? We need these things.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then you have Chucky, who is a legit doll. I just want to bundle him up under my chin and play with his hair and hold his arms down so he doesn't hurt me.
Tumblr media
And THEN- we also have the supposed 'not cuddly'. ones Pfft! We have Freddy, Bo, Michael, Chop Top+Otis and Sheriff Hoyt and all that kinda nasty man kind. I'll stand by my statement with them, too. Freddy wears a comfy, warm sweater and the way he stands like the glove is too heavy is kinda cutely awkward I'm not gonna lie. And Bo and Michael are just good height and width for cuddles (Get your arms ALL the way around them and I dunno, there's just something very warm and fuzzy about giving those two hotheads cuddles), and there is something about the coveralls, too. And Chop Top and Otis are TALL BOIS. Don't you want to hug tall boys? I sure do. And Hoyt... I dunno actually man that may just be my personal thing whoops.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And DRAYTONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. I cant even explain. I really really wanna hug him, especially. He's small, and soft, and- did you see his reaction when that lady gave him a kiss when he won the chilly competition? He was so cute for a moment XD Give this man affection and appreciation, please, I beg.
Tumblr media
As for other bad guys... well, the ones that come to mind include: Toon Patrol for damn sure XDD Jafar, Long John Silver, Peter Hayes, all Gotham villains, all antagonistic Looney Tunes, Alameda Slim and the Willies, Prof Ratigan, Offenderman, Jim Starling / Negaduck, Gaston, 2003 Captain Hook, Mal, Jo, Scott, Chris, Heather and honestly the rest of the TDI villains too, Azazel (X Men), Cheavy, etc. I could go on and on XD

Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima is an iconic photograph of six United States Marines raising the U.S. flag atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima in the final stages of the Pacific War. The photograph, taken by Joe Rosenthal of the Associated Press on February 23, 1945, was first published in Sunday newspapers two days later and reprinted in thousands of publications. It was the only photograph to win the Pulitzer Prize for Photography in the same year as its publication, and was later used for the construction of the Marine Corps War Memorial in 1954, which was dedicated to honor all Marines who died in service since 1775. The memorial, sculpted by Felix de Weldon, is located in Arlington Ridge Park, near the Ord-Weitzel Gate to Arlington National Cemetery and the Netherlands Carillon. The photograph has come to be regarded in the United States as one of the most significant and recognizable images of World War II.
The flag raising occurred in the early afternoon, after the mountaintop was captured and a smaller flag was raised on top that morning. Three of the six Marines in the photograph—Sergeant Michael Strank, Corporal Harlon Block, and Private First Class Franklin Sousley—were killed in action during the battle; Block was identified as Sergeant Hank Hansen until January 1947 and Sousley was identified as PhM2c. John Bradley, USN, until June 2016. The other three Marines in the photograph were Corporals (then Privates First Class) Ira Hayes, Harold Schultz, and Harold Keller; Schultz was identified as Sousley until June 2016 and Keller was identified as Rene Gagnon until October 2019. All of the men served in the 5th Marine Division on Iwo Jima.
The Associated Press has relinquished its copyright to the photograph, placing it in the public domain.
There were two American flags raised on top of Mount Suribachi, on February 23, 1945. The photograph Rosenthal took was actually of the second flag-raising, in which a larger replacement flag was raised by different Marines than those who raised the first flag.
Tumblr media
Photographs of the first flag flown on Mount Suribachi were taken by Staff Sergeant Louis R. Lowery of Leatherneck magazine, who accompanied the patrol up the mountain, and other photographers afterwards.
Raising the First Flag on Iwo Jima by SSgt. Louis R. Lowery, USMC, is the most widely circulated photograph of the first flag flown on Mt. Suribachi. Left to right: 1st Lt. Harold Schrier (kneeling behind radioman's legs), Pfc. Raymond Jacobs (radioman reassigned from F Company), Sgt. Henry "Hank" Hansen wearing cap, holding flagstaff with left hand), Platoon Sgt. Ernest "Boots" Thomas (seated), Pvt. Phil Ward (holding lower flagstaff with his right hand), PhM2c. John Bradley, USN (holding flagstaff with both hands, his right hand above Ward's right hand and his left hand below.), Pfc. James Michels (holding M1 Carbine), and Cpl. Charles W. Lindberg (standing above Michels).
Tumblr media
Rosenthal's photograph was used as the basis for C. C. Beall's poster Now... All Together for the Seventh War Loan Drive (14 May - 30 June 1945).
Rosenthal's photograph won the 1945 Pulitzer Prize for Photography, the only photograph to win the prize in the same year it was taken.
News pros were not the only ones greatly impressed by the photo. Navy Captain T.B. Clark was on duty at Patuxent Air Station in Maryland that Saturday when it came humming off the wire in 1945. He studied it for a minute, and then thrust it under the gaze of Navy Petty Officer Felix de Weldon. De Weldon was an Austrian immigrant schooled in European painting and sculpture. De Weldon could not take his eyes off the photo. In its classic triangular lines he recognized similarities with the ancient statues he had studied. He reflexively reached for some sculptor's clay and tools. With the photograph before him he labored through the night. Within 72 hours of the photo's release, he had replicated the six boys pushing a pole, raising a flag. Upon seeing the finished model, the Marine Corps commandant had de Weldon assigned to the Marine Corps until de Weldon was discharged from the navy after the war was over.
Starting in 1951, de Weldon was commissioned to design a memorial to the Marine Corps. It took de Weldon and hundreds of his assistants three years to finish it. Hayes, Gagnon, and Bradley, posed for de Weldon, who used their faces as a model. The three Marine flag raisers who did not survive the battle were sculpted from photographs.
The flag-raising Rosenthal (and Genaust) photographed was the replacement flag/flagstaff for the first flag/flagstaff that was raised on Mount Suribachi on February 23, 1945. There was some resentment from former Marines of the original 40-man patrol that went up Mount Suribachi including by those involved with the first flag-raising, that they did not receive the recognition they deserved. These included Staff Sgt. Lou Lowery, who took the first photos of the first flag flying over Mt. Suribachi; Charles W. Lindberg, who helped tie the first American flag to the first flagpole on Mount Suribachi (and who was, until his death in June 2007, one of the last living persons depicted in either flag-flying scene), who complained for several years that he helped to raise the flag and "was called a liar and everything else. It was terrible" (because of all the recognition and publicity over and directed to the replacement flag-raisers and that flag-raising); and Raymond Jacobs, photographed with the patrol commander around the base of the first flag flying over Mt. Suribachi, who complained until he died in 2008 that he was still not recognized by the Marine Corps by name as being the radioman in the photo.
The original Rosenthal photograph is currently in the possession of Roy H. Williams, who bought it from the estate of John Faber, the official historian for the National Press Photographers Association, who had received it from Rosenthal. Both flags (from the first and second flag-raisings) are now located in the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.
Ira Hayes, following the war, was plagued with depression brought on by survivor guilt and became an alcoholic. His tragic life, and death in 1955 at the age of 32, were memorialized in the 1961 motion picture The Outsider, starring Tony Curtis as Hayes, and the folk song "The Ballad of Ira Hayes", written by Peter LaFarge and recorded by Johnny Cash in 1964. Bob Dylan later covered the song, as did Kinky Friedman. According to the song, after the war:
Then Ira started drinkin' hard Jail was often his home They'd let him raise the flag and lower it Like you'd throw a dog a bone! He died drunk early one mornin' Alone in the land he fought to save Two inches of water in a lonely ditch Was a grave for Ira Hayes.
Rene Gagnon, his wife, and his son visited Tokyo and Mount Suribachi on Iwo Jima during the 20th anniversary of the battle of Iwo Jima in 1965. After the war, he worked at Delta Air Lines as a ticket agent, opened his own travel agency, and was a maintenance director of an apartment complex in Manchester, New Hampshire. He died while at work in 1979, age 54.
Tumblr media
Rosenthal's photograph has been reproduced in a number of other formats. It appeared on 3.5 million posters for the seventh war bond drive. It has also been reproduced with many unconventional media such as Lego bricks, butter, ice, Etch A Sketch and corn mazes.
The Iwo Jima flag-raising has been depicted in other films including 1949's Sands of Iwo Jima (in which the three surviving flag raisers make a cameo appearance at the end of the film) and 1961's The Outsider, a biography of Ira Hayes starring Tony Curtis.
In July 1945, the United States Postal Service released a postage stamp bearing the image. The U.S. issued another stamp in 1995 showing the flag-raising as part of its 10-stamp series marking the 50th anniversary of World War II. In 2005, the United States Mint released a commemorative silver dollar bearing the image.
A similar photograph was taken by Thomas E. Franklin of the Bergen Record in the immediate aftermath of the September 11 attacks. Officially known as Ground Zero Spirit, the photograph is perhaps better known as Raising the Flag at Ground Zero, and shows three firefighters raising a U.S. flag in the ruins of the World Trade Center shortly after 5 pm. Painter Jamie Wyeth also painted a related image entitled September 11th based on this scene. It illustrates rescue workers raising a flag at Ground Zero. Other iconic photographs frequently compared include V–J day in Times Square, Into the Jaws of Death, Raising a flag over the Reichstag, and the Raising of the Ink Flag.
The highly recognizable image is one of the most parodied photographs in history. Anti-war activists in the 1960s altered the flag to bear a peace symbol, as well as several anti-establishment artworks. Edward Kienholz's Portable War Memorial in 1968 depicted faceless Marines raising the flag on an outdoor picnic table in a typical American consumerist environment of the 1960s. It was parodied again during the Iran hostage crisis of 1979 to depict the flag being planted into Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini's behind. In the early 2000s, to represent gay pride, photographer Ed Freeman shot a photograph for the cover of an issue of Frontiers magazine, reenacting the scene with a rainbow flag instead of an American flag.Time magazine came under fire in 2008 after altering the image for use on its cover, replacing the American flag with a tree for an issue focused on global warming. The British Airlines Stewards and Stewardesses Association likewise came under criticism in 2010 for a poster depicting employees raising a flag marked "BASSA" at the edge of a runway.

"Everything is all set, Darling." Simon sauntered into the room, a bright smile on his face. "I must say, I am rather excited for this party. The first Halloween bash Barrington has seen."
"Have I told you lately how much of a god send you are, hubby?" Ridley smirked, turning her back to him. "Zip me?"
"Anything for you, my love. Simon's let out a low chuckle, his fingers slowly pulled the zipper of her dress. "Shall we?" He extended his arm and the two made their way to the ballroom.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting Simon and Ridley Montjoy, Duke and Duchess of wessex." The herald announced as the two entered the festively decorated ball room.  The pair had been married just over a year, Ridley and Simon taking over the Barrington estate full time and loving every minute of it, well, maybe not every minute.
An estate as old as Barrington came with some interesting phenomenons, which Ridley would often freak out over.   Simon on the other hand never seemed to notice when things would groan, or randomly appear. They decided to throw a Halloween party on the spookiest of nights, All Hallows eve.
Ridley wore a beautiful crimson flapper dress, simon wearing a matching suit to really give them the roaring 20s feel. The pair split the room, speaking with their guest. Ridley's head was spinning, she needed a breather.  She found a quiet corner and pressed against the wall, eyes closed for just a moment.
"I'd love to say it gets easier but, I can not tell a lie." A voice pulled her from her rest. Her eyes landing on a petite woman with dark hair who looked exactly like someone she would have loved to go back in time to meet.
"I just love your costume, the details are flawless. If I didn't know any better, I would think you were the 13th duchess herself." Ridley grinned ear to ear, the woman smile matching hers.
"Gemma Montjoy at your service." She winked, extending her hand, Ridley taking it giving a firm shake. "How wonderful to meet you, Gemma. I'm,"
"Oh darling, everyone knows who you are." The woman gave her a brilliant smile.  "Ridley Duchannes Or, shall I say Montjoy now. You and Simon have done a wonderful job leading Barrington into a new age, such a wonderful job."
"Why thank you. I have to ask, why the 13th duchess? I mean, I am partial to her myself." Ridley began, "Her memoirs are what led me here in the first place."
"Lets just say Gemma and I are kindred spirits. Besides, the montjoys are family."  The lady gave a playful smirk. "Say, it's been quite a while since I have wandered these old halls, shall we see what kind of trouble we can get into tonight, being its Hallows eve?"
Ridley hesitated, she did not know this woman but the American in her screamed and got into trouble, she did say she was family. Her lips twisted into a rebellious grin. "What the hell, let's do it."
The two wandered into the study just off the ball room, Gemma's hand roamed down the wall "should be right… here." She grinned as the wall swung open, Gemma lit an old lantern and the pair disappeared into the passage ways.
"So you've been researching the Montjoy family's history I hear. I have yet to read your book but, I can't imagine the scandal you unearthed." The woman spoke as the two made their way down the dimly lit halls.
"I have. Did you know that Thomas Montjoy, the husband of the 13th Duchess fathered a child out of wedlock? He sadly passed a year after he and Gemma took the boy in."
"Andrew." The woman's voice turned soft, a slight pain behind it.
"Yes,  Andrew Olivier Montjoy. He went by Ollie as I understand it. I can't imagine how Gemma handled such a situation with as much grace as she did.  I do not know how I would handle that, it would completely crush me if Simon ever did that."
"I assure you darling, she struggled to connect with the boy. Her attempts thwarted at every turn,  ollie just would not warm up to her. It broke her heart. Never having children of her own, he was as close as she ever got."
"How do you know all of this? I have never been able to find any diaries or letters from the 13th Duchess."
The woman opened her mouth to speak but abruptly shut it as a set of raised voices grew louder.
"Damnit Genevive, I said I wanted to go as a naval captain,  I look like bloody captain crunch." Hugos voice rang out. Gemma motion towards a small hole in the wall, peaking in they could see Hugo and his wife Genevive.  "Now settle down Hugo. I am trying to adjust this griddle but it wont. Go. Down." Genevive huffed struggling against her husband. "Oh dear, he looks like a busted can of biscuits." Gemma giggled. "Pillsbury should hire him as a spokesperson." Ridley cackled.
"What was that? Who's there?" Hugo shouted. "Careful Hugo it'll," Genevive gasped as the girdle snapped, flinging across the room,  Hugo flew back, flipping over the chaise and landed on his back, feet up in the air.
The pair let out a roarous laughter and took off running down the hall. They settled against the wall, catching their breath.
"Well that was certainly one for the books. " Ridley laughed. "I'd say so." Gemma agreed looking around.
"ah. Here we are." She ran her hand along the wall pressing a button.  The door slid open, revealing a room that had clearly not seen the light of day in quite some time.
"What the hell? I have never been in this room."
"That is because nobody knows about this place, not anyone living that is." She chuckled.  Ridley gave her a confused look.
"Well. Have at it darling." The woman motioned around the room.
Ridley waived her hand, clearing the cobwebs from her path.  The room had gone untouched for quite some time.  The vanity still loaded with a pewter brush and mirror, a compact and various bottles of perfume littered the top. Ridley  walked over to the bedside table picking up a black leatherbound book. She blew the thick dust from the cover and opened up to the first page.
This is the diary of Gemma Montjoy, Duchess of wessex.
Ridley's eyes boggled out of her head. "This? This is hers? The 13th duchess, THE Gemma Montjoy!"
The woman smiled, her hand ran softly against the tattered bed spread.
"The room was sealed off shortly before her death, only a select few knew of it. Her dear friend Lillian Hayes saw to it. Such a pity what happened to  Amelia, her dear sister. Never did fully get over that one but, Lilian gave everyone hope again. " A shadow cast on her face, she quickly shook it off. " You want some more Montjoy family information,  look to the somerset family. Cousins of the Montjoys loads of scandal there."
"Lillian? Amelia? Who are they? And what happened to Amelia."
"Why, Amelia was murdered of course. Amelia was set to wed Francis Somerset but, her untimely demise ended that and her sister Lillian stepped in to take her place." She gave a sad smile.
Ridley sat on the bed flipping through the diary, her eyes widening. "She solved the murder? And who is John?"
" She sure did. And John was Francis's brother. Lilian made a marriage pact quite like you and your simon did. She would have never gone through with the marriage, it was all a farce. John had her heart."
Ridley's head was spinning at all of the new information. How did this woman who looked identical to the 13th duchess know all of this. If it weren't for the dusty old journal in her hands, she would have thought it fake. Was it a dream? She tried to pinch herself awake but her attempts were futile, Ridley was very much awake.
The phone strapped to her thigh began to vibrate, a slew of text from Simon appearing on the screen.
"Everything ok?" Gemma questioned.
"Yes, my husband is worried about me." She looked at the time, "has it been an hour already?"
"Perhaps we should be heading back?" The woman questioned, Ridley nooded her head. "Yes but, I don't want to leave.  This is the 13th dutchess private room. Nobody has ever seen it and here we are."
"Of course, it is like a missing piece to a puzzle. Perhaps you could come back again, but for now your husband worries. Come now Ridley, we haven't much time."
Ridley stood nodding her head. "Ok. But I am taking this." She held up the book.
"Have at it."
The two women ventured through the passages back to the study. The wall slid open and Ridley stepped out, Simon standing there waiting for her.
"Ridley,  Darling. You gave me a fright. I thought I would have to send a search party after you." She wrapped his arms around her. "You know that saint Bernard is just a call away." He chuckled, releasing her. "Where the bloody hell did you get off to?"
"I'm fine Simon, my friend and I found Gemma Montjoys hidden room." She smirked.
"Your friend, Darling?" Simon quirked his brow giving her a confused look. "Ridley, how much have you had to drink?  Are you snozzled?"
"I am not drunk, Simon! She's right here.." Ridley turned pointing towards the wall,  only to find her new friend was gone. "Where..Where'd she go?"
"Ooookay.. Darling, perhaps you've inhaled too much dust in the passage ways. Come now,  let's get you a glass of water and some fresh air." Simon led a confused Ridley away. She kept peaking back waiting for the woman to jump out of her hiding spot, could she have imagined it all?
Later that evening Ridley sat in bed, the journal firmly grasped in her hands. "I can not believe I found this Simon." She sighed contently. "There is so much personal information in here. Much more than her memoirs."
Simom smiled fondly,  climbing into bed next to his wife.  "Brilliant Darling, you should add this into your next book." He leaned over kissing her good night.  She turned the to a blank page in between another entry. Ridley's mind wandered back on the night, something odd was going on but she couldn't quite figure it out. Had she dreamed it? But then how did she come by the book? She shook her head in frustration looking back down on the page only this time it wasnt blank.
Ridley darling, I had a blast tonight. Enjoy the journal.
 Until next year,
~Gemma
Ridley's eyes went wide, she didn't just meet a woman dressed as Gemma Montjoy,  she met her Ghost.

Throughout, very clearly shot with no obstructions, in a mixture of wides and closes, following the action well. I think it's shot from the front of the circle. Virtually no dropouts, obstructions and spotlight washout. Filmed more centre than the preview recording by the same master; mix of wides, mediums and some closeups; very good capture of the sets and actor choreography. Both are worth watching. Action is followed well with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The first minute of the show is missing, and the next few minutes are a bit shaky with scattered blackouts, but after "The King of Broadway" it settles and the majority of the show is captured nicely. Unobstructed closing performance with the full cast! Starts in the beginning of "Changing Lives" and is a little washed out. For whatever reason my camera was mad at me and didn't want to focus in the beginning of Act One. It warmed up and got better, and to be honest I opted for wider shots because everyone was doing crazy things and I didn't want to miss anything. I stood up for all but one of the standing ovations and when I did so I have no idea what my camera did or what it was looking at. I would say sorry but it wouldn't be true. I'm just so damn proud of all of these people. Please do not post this bootleg publicly! Josh mistakenly mentions Alyssa in 'Tonight Belongs to You' despite not being meant to know her name at this point. The last three minutes of the show are from a different performance, during previews, with Brooks Ashmanskas as Barry and Josh Lamon as Sheldon, but it is a full video in total. The Prom - Broadway - March, 2019 (StarCuffedJeans's master) FORMAT:  MP4 (HD) CAST: Gabi Campo (u/s Emma Nolan), Brooks Ashmanskas (Barry Glickman), Isabelle McCalla (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Michael Potts (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Courtenay Collins (Mrs. Greene), David Josefsberg (u/s Sheldon Saperstein), Becca Lee (Kaylee), Susie Carroll (s/w Shelby), Teddy Toye (Nick), Drew Redington (Kevin), Courtney Balan (Olivia Keating) NOTES: This video starts at "Dance With You" and is super focused on Gabi. There are less heads in this than most of my videos and a railing that gets in the way occasionally, but they were mostly worked around. The cast as a whole is doing top notch work, though at times you can tell that Brooks and Izzy are just back from being sick. Overall this is a really great video of one of my favorite shows, and I'm really proud of myself for containing my crying at the end of act one. The Prom - Pre-Broadway / Atlanta - September 17, 2016 (SunsetBlvd79's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Caitlin Kinnunen (Emma Nolan), Brooks Ashmanskas (Barry Glickman), Anna Grace Barlow (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Martin Moran (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Josh Lamon (Sheldon Saperstein) NOTES: Beautiful HD capture of the Pre-Broadway tryout. A really touching and funny new musical, led by a hilarious cast of Broadway veterans. A perfect mix of comedy and drama.

Storybook Squares (February 1969?)
Storybook Squares was the name given to a special series of episodes of the NBC game show Hollywood Squares. The series featured celebrities dressed up as famous people and characters from history and various forms of media.
Peter Marshall served as host of these episodes. The panelists were introduced by "The Guardian of the Gate", who announced their characters' presence by reading their names from a scroll. The Guardian was played by regular Hollywood Squares announcer Kenny Williams, and the character was similar to his "Town Crier" character from Video Village.
The series ran on NBC on Saturday mornings from January 4 to April 19, 1969, with repeats airing until August 30. The concept was revived during the 1976-77 season as a series of special theme weeks on the daytime Hollywood Squares.
Format On the original edition of Storybook Squares, the game was played in the same manner as the regular game, with celebrities in the squares dressed as storybook and nursery rhyme characters. Two children competed, always boy vs. girl with the boy as X and the girl as Circle. They played as many games as time permitted, with a prize being awarded for each win. No money was awarded; a Secret Square game for the first two games was played, with the setup identical to the 1968 primetime game and first two years of the syndicated version—that is, if the first game's Secret Square was not won, the package was combined with that of the second game, and then after that it was not won.
Panelists The only panelist from the adult show who played as he normally would was Cliff Arquette, who carried his "Charley Weaver" persona over to Storybook Squares. The other panelists played characters from fairy tales and books, historical figures, or in some cases the characters they played on television.
Unlike the parent series, on Storybook Squares each panelist/character was given an elaborate introduction as they entered the set and took their place on the board, allowing for a brief comic interaction with host Marshall as they did so. Some of the celebrities who appeared were:
* Marty Allen as Tarzan and Cupid * Jim Backus as Mr. Magoo (animated character for whom he provided the voice) and Thurston Howell III (his character from Gilligan's Island) * Ted Cassidy as Tarzan * Charo as Isabella * Wally Cox as Paul Revere and Davy Crockett * Bob Crane as Colonel Hogan (his role on Hogan's Heroes) * Abby Dalton as Little Miss Muffet * Barbara Eden as Jeannie (her role on I Dream of Jeannie) * Nanette Fabray as The Old Woman Who Lived in the Shoe * Stu Gilliam as Merlin * Arte Johnson as Wolfgang the Nazi from Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, referred to herein as the "'Very Interesting' Soldier" * Paul Lynde as Frankenstein's monster and the Evil Queen from Snow White * Paul Winchell as Romeo and Dr. Jekyll (with Tessie Mahoney- Jerry Mahoney in a blond wig- as Juliet and Jerry Mahoney as Mr. Hyde) * Carolyn Jones as Morticia Addams (her role on The Addams Family) * Rose Marie as Pocahontas and Annie Oakley * Roy Rogers and Dale Evans * Soupy Sales as Henry VIII and Thomas Edison * William Shatner as James T. Kirk (his character from Star Trek) * Leslie Uggams as Snow White
1976-77 return When the daytime series brought back Storybook Squares, its format was changed slightly. Instead of a two-player match featuring boys playing girls, the matches used a team format with the boys playing with their fathers and grandfathers and the girls with their mothers and grandmothers.
The children played the first game of the match, with the parents playing the second and the grandparents each subsequent game as time permitted. $300 was awarded for each game won, with $50 awarded per square if time was called during a game.
The team with the most money at the end of the game won a large prize, such as a car or exotic vacation.
