Why is no one talking about Kaz's new cane??

When I watched episode eight, I immediately noticed this at the end and assumed there would be posts and theories galore about it. But ig i have to do everything myself >:|

So for the first season and most of the second, Kaz carries a cane with a gold crow topper. This is a sculpted crow head with feather details, a medium-sized beak, and a jewel eye.

But in his last scene (i think), he carries a cane with a completely different, intricately textured shaft, topped with a long-beaked silver crow skull.

This is very interesting and telling for me in terms of his growing character and internal strife at this point in the story! Inej is away, she has refused his advances because of his complete emotional unavailability and lack of a good coping mechanism for his grief and trauma. (Mans needs a therapist stat.) In this scene, he tells a Dreg to start hiring out girls who work at the Menagerie, namely one named Kesh, who Inej mentioned in early season one as her informant for Drussen's (later revealed to actually be Nikolai's) job. He's actually accepting and implementing Inej's advice, which he basically never does, enormous simp that he is. Clearly, he's pining and in his emo boy era (though one could argue he's been this way since day one).

The cane is also silver rather than gold, and I might be reading too much into it, but it could represent his shifting motivation. He's moving away from money, towards what really matters: the friends we make along the way (I'm talking of Inej, of course *Jesper wink*). Though, of course, we still have the Ice Court heist! But the silver and the skull definitely have hidden meanings. Kaz (iconically) told Pekka that when he and Jordie got firepox after being robbed and scammed, they both died. But one of them (Kaz. obviously.) was reborn. I mean, what part of Kaz does not play into his trauma?? He literally got an R tattooed on him. A cane that nods to his past, his rebirth, and his new way of life (such as forcefully removing eyeballs when someone looks at his girl wrong) is completely possible.

Also we've been complaining about the gold cane since day one, so. Maybe someone in props got sick of it. Who knows. Add your ideas!! I'm dumb and I miss things!!! Anyway his new cane is sick as hell and I can't wait to watch him smack people with it in the crows spin-off (keep rewatching s2 so we get it! it sucks ik but that's how it is :|) and look really really cool while doing it.

saint wakes up the day the last iterator finally collapses. its time is now, with the final goal: free them from their suffering, end this cycle and urge in the next civilization. let iterators finally rest, rather than slowly bleed out into the snow for countless millenia more until the void sea eats up to them.

something fucks me up about the narrative coming full circle especially. sliver started all this chaos. now, a part of her is finally going to put it all to bed.

saint is largely unaware of what they are, but as they reach closer and closer, and eventually hit attunement, she is very lost in this. half understanding, enlightened state, where she knows her purpose and does it but knows she isn't whole and is struggling to comprehend it all.

so, to become whole, she plunges herself into the void again and again. just for that moment- to slot herself back into the heart [rubicon is sliver's dream !!! [KIND OF]] and gain full understanding of the wish it represents.

and so saint ascends the void worm, realizing that she's not done yet.

and so she wakes back up again, to wander the lands between fallen gods and bring mercy to whomever it encounters

I'll probably do another post because holy crap there is a lot that happened today

I thought it was sweet Dapper and Pomme went to qPhil first because Dapper said they know he has concretions to some kind of goddess of death obviously referring to Kristin but I still am not sure if she is actually canons but it was a cute reference and it's nice to know that Phil has lots of tickets if they need cookies this week.

But also like Damn Phil cannot get a break first Tubbo now Bad I swear soon all the eggs will be ophans /j

Also apparently Taulluah is seeing the ghost of the eggs that died and one more. Idk if it's also an egg or something/someone else but if it's an egg I think it's either: 1. A-1 the egg that evil quackity was testing and died or Hope.

For those who don't remember Hope was an egg in a different orphanage than the original eggs that Cellbit found a while ago. The egg left a diary of their time in the orphanage. No one came for the egg and died but told that whoever is reading their book should not be sad for them. That's all I remember I'd have to go back and look to see what else I can find.

ANYWAYS Yeah so Taulluah sees ghosts now that are sad for some reason and she doesn't know why and Bad is missing and also presumably dead or a ghost? Because as we were following Dapper and Pomme on Bad's stream the thing would have reactions a lot of like what Bad would have. Like nodding and shaking his head or rolling his head for rolling his eyes. It all just felt very Bad like.

Also he was very against using any spells of stuff to block spirits so I think it might be Bad somehow looking out for them but not able to talk or interact with them for some reason.

I know these are a lot of signs at once but I find it very sweet that Dapper despite everything is trying to keep a positive view of everything and trying to cheer Pomme up.

I love how this is the plan they come up with to get Bad back lol 😆 I'm sure they'll come up with a real plan but who knows this could maybe work

Dapper and Pomme did this a lot and I love it. Them just leaning their heads together silently telling the other it's ok we are together aggghhh it is so sweet. And the fact that they did it multiple times I imagine just reassuring the other and themselves that they are there.

This was so pretty and nice just Dapper and Pomme watching the sunset (07 Bobby) together going over memories

Talking about their dead siblings and Max saying they should build a new place for them to remember them and wish them a Happy birthday every month

I didn't get screenshots of it but Dapper telling Pomme that all of their past siblings would have loved her with how sweet Tiln was and how good it was to be around Flippa, how Trump would have loved picking flowers with her and how Bobby would have loved doing pvp with Pomme :,) like bro I am literally tearing up

Spoilers for Fionna and Cake Finale Double Episode Post

-Alright, episode 9 started of with a scare! That nightmare really seemed real for a second, and Marshall looked like Shoko when she fell into the radioactive river....

Thank god it was a dream honestly, but the main even of this episode... The Lich begging for Golb to acknowledge his achievements, his success in ending all life on his reality, only to be denied of any form of gratification and to be stripped of his own reason and turned into a tetris block...

I really liked this bit, I think Fionna and Cake had the best moments of Lich alongside his speech in the Citadel episode. His expression, his posture, his rage alongside his struggle... How can a character so inherently impossible to kill, be absolutely finished by no more than a look from the one whom he called his scholar.

Also Simon kicked him that's funny,, poor Jerry

And Now, from the 1000+ years Ooo, we get to see Shermy and Beth again! They are vandalizing Gibbon's kingdom, that, in case you don't remember or don't know, he's the son of Charlie (Jake's daughter that played Card Wars)

I really like 1000+ years Ooo. In a way its cozy but at the same time uncanny cuz you really don't know anyone... (I mean Marcy and PB are canonically alive but still they only appear in the Come Along with Me Intro) I wish it was a miniseries itself!!! Simon got TP'd to Shermy's head and still is trying to find a crown. They went to the library which is now ruled by the paper guys, and a robot in a turtle shell? uh,,, okay?

And yeah basically the Scarab is back cuz Ellis P freed them,,, bruh.

-LAST EPISODE FFS PAWN SWAN IS CANON WOOO

Okay but in all seriousness, the episode continued F&C dealing with the Scarab, and they just threw him all the guys that he imprisoned, which shows us what we already had a feeling since he caught Kheirosiphon: the Scarab just caught outlaw, independently if they are good or bad, most of these guys are reformed and have started a new life... he's just so shitty... like, look at these little Big guy :')

Anyways, to get done with the F&C story, basically Prismo tp's the Peppermint tank, alongside with Jay, little Destiny and BABY FINN!! WHICH IS HUGE?! Finn is going to grow up in Fionna's universe, and if the series continues, we might even see a normal world grew up Finn (with grew up I mean like 15, lol) ALSO WE SEE TIFFANY

Simon's side on the other hand,,, jeez I feel like I was synced with Simon in a way that I never really acknowledged Betty's sacrifice... She really did put everything on the side to be with Simon, and for his happiness.... not that it went by unnoticed, but it bugs me to think... what if they did it differently? What if he went on the trip with Betty... I mean to be fair we have the answer... he dies to vampires a couple years after, but how was the time he spent with Betty? What did they change? How did they change and grew even if it did not last forever....

and if you think that this was the part that hit the hardest... buddy..

Yeah,,, I think Betty isn't even there anymore, this was a goodbye... It wasn't explained but I think it was implied that she is gone... That Golb is back to his normal form... i don't know if this will have repercussions in the future? Maybe reform Lich and fuse with him?! I'm just throwing random ideas at this point.

-Final Opinion: This series was amazing, I'm always happy to have more Adventure Time content, it being my main artistic inspiration makes it so much more fantastic to see new characters, places and stories. It was definitely the best mini series so far. The funniest, the most interesting, and the prettiest visually. The epilogue was so heartwarming, Fionna being able to talk with Simon via sms, he's having therapy with Minerva, and PRISMO! Prismo now has the Scarab with him in the Time Room, they are going to make stories together hehe.

(also there was a frame in which prismo's head was flipped? idk if it was an error wtf)

He’s pretty sweet, ngl. Usually he wrecks someone without the need to feed off laughter like some of the other anomalies, its just for “research” or if someone seems a bit gloomy.

His favorite move is bear hugs. Uses his main arms to hug someone, then the other four to tickle them.

Speaking of, don’t bother trying to hide spots from him. His eyes have sensors that basically pings him to wherever someone is ticklish at.

His teeth are relatively pointy for tickle nibbles!

Teasing wise he’ll either make remarks about how your reactions and laughter help his research. Or option B is he’ll use baby talk!

Will make sure the lee is okay afterwards, offering water (and affection if the lee desires)

As a lee

Super ticklish oml. Cannot STAND his ribs or armpits (his main set) being tickled!

Absolutely can’t take teases, calling him cute? Baby talk? You’ll have him a giggly mess in no time!

Surprisingly, he’s able to blush. And tickling around his ears or neck is the best way to get it.

Super cackly laughter, snorts a whole ton.

Will try to get revenge with his other four limbs, watch out!

Speaking of revenge, he will 100% get it afterwards.

You could actually make him reboot if you tickle him to much, he doesn’t mind, but its the best way to give yourself a head start FROM his vengeance!

Feathers will absolutely annihilate him, same for brushes (specifically paint ones)

Normal PC form

As a ler:

Much like before, he’s still pretty sweet as a ler.

This form resides in his cell, he can upload his consciousness between bodies in order to utilize each one. This one controls the machinery in his cell.

He LOVES to experiment on lees, tickling them to oblivion for his notes, their laugh, their ticklish spots, what tools work best, etc.

The metal extending parts of his limbs are able to lightly zap people, doesn’t hurt, tickles like hell though!

His teases remain the same, a bit more baby talky since he has more confidence of lees not getting revenge in this form.

Has a data base of most doctors at the site from the times they fallen to his clutches, loves to tease them with it too.

“Oh, my. Your laughter has gotten much more squeaky since our last session, doctor! I’ll have to test you to see what else has changed at once!”

A bit more generous with aftercare, since he’ll tickle lees significantly longer then when in his android form.

As a lee

Now while this form has no spots, you still CAN tickle him.

High voltage electricity, messing with his computer system (i.e a virus), all tickle him HELLISHLY.

And he low-key enjoys it.

He’ll keep his secret enjoyment of tickles to the grave though.

Anyways, like before, cannot stand teases at all. Folds immediately.

His screen will glitch and bug out if he is laughing too hard.

Speaking of his laugh, its still cackly, all be it more higher in pitch the worse he’s being tickled.

Has on more then one occasion accidentally (and purposely) zapped himself on his own tech.

Random facts!

Surprisingly doesn’t have a favorite lee, since he wants to expand his database he’ll rarely go after someone twice (unless bored), but does have favorite lers.

076-2, 682, and 096 are his current favorites for one reason: he snags up their victims after they’re done for experiments.

Will team up with other anomalies, especially if their target is one he hasn’t gotten too before.

He was actually created by the foundation, he was basically made to tickle other anomalies and get tickled, so the foundation could lessen breaches and not have to use d-class all the time.

He ended up gaining self awareness and decided to use his access to foundation technology to cause chaos though, lol.

But he does of course care deeply about the staff and other anomalies, staff especially. (Mainly the doctor who created him, who will be revealed later on! :>)
