Energizer (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure)

Hey hey guess who’s on her Stardust Crusader’s Brainrot? :D I love these two, and after falling down a rabbit hole of Jotaro and Kakyoin content, I’ve decided I wanted to make a fic of them! I hope you like it!

TW: Swearing- It’s Jotaro afterall

Summary: It’s late and Jotaro wants sleep. Kakyoin has other plans.

You’d think during the breaks between Stand User and relentless traveling, the Crusaders would take this time as an opportunity to relax.

And for the older members, it was. Right now Joseph and Avdol spoke quietly to one another at the Hotel diner while Polnareff snored away in his room.

Jotaro had similar plans as he shrugged, stretching out his arms while Kakyoin took his turn in their shared bathroom. He was exhausted- so much so he nearly passed out mid shower. Eyeing the bed, he wondered just how much sleep he was actually going to get before his mind grew guarded- waiting for the next attack.

Perhaps he should have had his guard up when the bathroom door opened then.

“GOTCHA!” Kakyoin attacked him like a bat out of hell, arms wrapped around Jotaro’s waist before both yanking them into the nearest bed. Amazing enough it didn’t break- this wouldn’t be the first time they’ve made that mistake. “Didn’t expect that, did you Jojo?”

“Good grief…” Jotaro rolled his eyes as he reached for Kakyoin’s arms, trying to pry them off. “How the hell do you have this much energy after everything today?”

“I drank an energy drink! The hotel sells them!” Kakyoin sounded giddy, blushing slightly when Jotaro raised an eyebrow at him. “It was cherry flavored…”

“You and your damn cherry addiction.” Jotaro rolled his eyes, once again failing to pull Kakyoin off. When the hell did he get this strong? Or perhaps Jotaro was just too tired to care? “Get off me already.”

“You sound grumpy.” Kakyoin rested his chin on his shoulder, smiling cheekily. “Want me to get you an energy drink too?”

“What I want is to sleep.” Jotaro elbowed him in an attempt to shake him off. “Go back to your own bed- you’re being weird.”

“Come now, don’t tell me you're suddenly feeling shy?” Kakyoin hugged him tighter, clinging like an octopus against Jotaro’s back and tossing a leg into the mix. “I just wanna hug my friend~ Can’t I do that, Jojo?”

“Okay, now you’re definitely being weird.” Jotaro reached out and gave Kakyoin’s knee a squeeze, grinning when the redhead squawked and flailed behind him. “I’ll give you five seconds to get off me or I’m tickling.”

“You wouldn’t dare.” Kakyoin sounded betrayed.

“I said what I said.”

They were in a stalemate- neither man spoke as they sized each other up. Jotaro wasn’t the type to go back on his word, and Kakyoin was stubborn when he wanted to be.

“You're bold, Jojo.” Kakyoin seemed like he was letting go, his grip easing up somewhat around the other. Jotaro felt rather smug. “That said, you failed to consider one important thing.” The hands coming off stopped at his sides.

Oh dear.

“I know you’re ticklish too.”

“Oh hell no don’t you fucking da-Aheahhahahahahhare!” Kakyoin’s fingers pressed into Jotaro’s ribs, dead center into that god awful spot he was cursed with. Immediately he brought his arms down in a vain attempt to block out the other, but Kakyoin was already latched on, refusing to budge as the brunette squirmed against him. “Sohohohohon of a bihihiihihitch!”

“Now now, don’t be rude, Jojo.” Kakyoin scowled gently, keeping one hand against Jotaro’s ribs while the other shot up to his armpit, pressing into the warm skin and earning a squawk of laughter. “Can’t you be a little nice? Hm?”

“Kihhihihihiss my ahahhahaahhahass! Gahhhahahahha Kahahhahahakyohoohoohohin!” Jotaro twisted and turned against the bed, trying to get onto his back. “Stahahahhahap ihihihihihit!”

“Why?”

“Yohoohohohoohu knoohohohohohow whhihihihiihihy!” He was on his back. Mission successful.

“Do I really? Truly?” Kakyoin dropped a hand to Jotaro’s stomach, pushing past his tanktop and clawing at his abs. “I’m gonna need a real reason, Jojo.”

Mission failed- this was a terrible idea. Jotaro wheezed as he shoved at the hands, bucking beneath the redhead as he was driven to near tears. “Fihihihihiihne it fuhhuhuuhuhcking tihihihihiihckles! Hahhahahahhahappy?”

“Very much so, thank you.” Kakyoin grinned as he relented, pulling his hands back and watching the other pant. “I’m always happy seeing you smile.”

“Gooohohood griehehef…” Jotaro reached for his hat to shied his face- blinking upon realizing he wasn’t wearing it. Instead he covered his already flushed expression with a hand, hoping the other didn’t catch the way his ears burned.

“Hm…you know- I didn’t get to try out your other tickle spots…” Kakyoin sounded almost dissapointed, sitting up again and kneeling over the other. “I wonder what would happen if I did…”

Little did Kakyoin know of the looming presence behind him. Jotaro only smiled as Star Platnuim pounced, dragging Kakyoin over to his own bed with wiggling fingers. “AH! AHehahhahahahahaha! Johohohoohohojohohohohoo! Hhehhehheehehlp mehheehhhehe!”

“You brought this on yourself, Kak.” Jotaro turned on his side as his stand gave Kakyoin’s knees and thighs a squeeze, making him squeal. “Now, let’s tire you out so we can get some sleep, yeah?”

"I'll make you two lunches," she says to Kakyoin and Jotaro.

"Why?" Kakyoin asks.

"Cause you're my friends now."

"Count me out of it," Jotaro says.

"Oh..." Eileen says, a little dejected.

Jotaro clears his throat awkwardly.

"I'm sorry," Eileen offers.

"It's..." Jotaro pulls down the brim of his hat. "I like the lunches my mom makes me."

"Oh! That's sweet!" Eileen chirps.

It's just, there's a reason to go to school now. People she knows, who are like her - who like her.

okay, imma be real

this man cant stand it

the whole heels and dress thing

hates it

HOWEVER

when he ends up accidentally falling asleep on those poofy layers, he cant help but kinda like it

but the part he hates the most would have to be your singing

not because you're bad

but because it attracts animals

he's like... wtf... how?

you just giggle and chase him with a bunny in your hands

but i think the point where he knows that he's actually in love with you fond of you has to be the steely dan fight

when you see that son of a biscuit turn jotaro into a bridge, you knew that when this was over, you were going to get payback

you run up to steely dan when the battle is over and you start shoving your finger in his face, yelling at him. no one can take you seriously. you feel like everyone, even the stardust crusaders are laughing

that is, until you kick the man down and start stomping him with your heel asking how it feels to be a bridge

lets just say you were shown a lot of respect after that

and jotaro held your hand all the way back to the hotel

Kakyoin

this man loves it

omg that gif is so flippin fine

he thinks all of your dresses are gorgeous and he would constantly ask to do your hair for you

he loves braiding it

i think his goal would be to see you out of the princess state

but when he sees you in your nightgown with your hair perfectly around your face as you were asleep, he gave up

you were always pretty, he just had to face it

he would love doing little activities with you like painting each other's nails and playing with animals that you just summon

his favorite thing to do with you though is dance

he holds your waist, your dress and corset perfectly cinching you and he would just saw with you back and forth at night

he prefers that you're in the nightgown though, it seems more elegant and more romantic to him

also he loves the fabric of it

its just so... soft

his fingers would glide over your hips and his hand would be grasping yours as you sway in the living room of his hotel room just talking about life

he thinks it's adorable, but at first, he was a little confused

why on earth would you always insist on wearing heels and a dress on missions?

he just cares about your safety

he doesnt want you tripping

because of this though, he takes the whole girly act and princess look as a sign to constantly protect you, thinking you're weak or something

he would put you out of harms way and throw himself in front of it

you tell him to stop, but he's just doing what he thinks is best

he really thinks that the heels block you from being awesome

but boy does he change his mind when he sees you stomping steely dan with your heel

his mouth is gaping open

and let's just say he let you deal with your issues from then on without butting in

he is obsessed with the dresses

and his whole goal is to just make you fall in love with him

he knows your strong

but you're also a lovely person and so so sweet

he would even bring you flowers

Have a few queries/plot bunnies regarding the Jonaplat AU:

When Jotaro uses Star Platinum to sketch the Egyptian fly from the spirit photograph of DIO, is that using Jonathan's artistic talent or Jotaro's?

What are Jonathan's thoughts on the Speedwagon Foundation?

One of JoJo's defining traits is his capacity for sympathy and a mindset where he tries to imagine the consequences his actions would have on other people, even if they appear to be enemies. Would there ever be situations where he refuses to obey Jotaro out of principle?

Would Death 13 interfere with Jotaro's dreams about Jonathan's life? Could the *opposite* happen?

Given that his mental fortitude and ability to withstand fear are the main reasons Speedwagon decides to join him, his averse reactions to fire must really be messing him up, huh?

Would Jonathan be able to communicate with other sentient stands? The only one in Part 3 I can name off the top of my head is Anubis (who actually could be an interesting avenue to explore the implications of WHY Jonathan was reborn as Star Platinum, depending on how similar Anubis' predicament is. Crack Idea: Anubis + Hamon-induced soul restoration/redemption like with Bruford = Luck & Pluck 2.0? الحظ والنتف? lol)

should i have maybe spaced these questions out in separate asks?

So in order:

1)Definitely Jonathan’s but it was boosted with his new incredibly precise vision and speed. I image that as he was studying to be an archeologist, Jonathan probably learned and practiced how to make sketches of real things quite a lot and was pretty good. Nothing extraordinary but definitely on par for the course. Of course, now as a Stand his drawings got a significant bump in queslity because he can now do and see things a human never could

And to add more to the drawing thing….. what if in their down time when they’re in hotels Jonathan ends up drawing a lot. Of Danny, Erina, Speedwagon, Zeppeli, the Stone Mask, countless things from his life. This also ends up weirding Jotaro out because these are the people from his dreams, yet he’s never seen any of them before. Jotaro might even hide the drawings or decide he’s going to deal with it later because right now it isn’t a priority. He doesn’t throw them away though, just keeps them folded up in an inside pocket in his jacket

2) He’d be very proud of what Speedwagon was able to accomplish with his life and that he’d been able to make a legacy for himself that was able to persist long after his death. He’s happy that at least Speedwagon and Erina were able to live in comfort after he was gone (also slightly unrelated but I’m pondering on whether or not to do Jonaeriwagon for this AU just because fjdbgjdbf)

3) Honestly? I don’t think he would that much. While Jonathan does sympathize and feel empathy, he also would know the importance of defending one’s self and loved ones, and he’d get really attached to Jotaro and Co and that protectiveness will probably override his sympathies. He wouldn’t be outright cruel though, just fighting as much as he needs to in order to keep everyone safe.

The only times Jonathan would likely hold back would be if the person is already well and beat and wasn’t too much of shitty person. The more smug, genuinely cruel and otherwise vindictive the person, the less he’d be willing to show them sympathies. For example, Polanreff. He was honorable and accepted his defeat, so Jonathan would see no issue with saving his life and him eventually joining the team

4) Oooooo I didn’t even think of that. This time around Star Platinum would actually be able to be brought into the dream because Jonathan would also be technically asleep, but unlike how Kakyoin brought Hierophant into the dream like in canon, Jonathan would be just as trapped as the living humans because Death 13 Dream Logic. Death 13 would probably being him into the dream out of general curiosity because this has never happened before

5) Y e a h. Jonathan hates his new fear, especially because of how crippling it can be at times, double especially because of how it affects Jotaro. And it’s going to be REALLY bad during the entirety of Italy because from Jonathan’s perspective he’d just died and didn’t have time to fully process that whole thing

6) You’re right, the only sentient stand in Stardust was Anubis, but that’s also definitely very interesting. While I’m not sure about other Sentient Stands, given Anubis’s mental link with the person holding the sword it could definitely be possible for him and Jonathan to communicate. And you’re right, we never actually learn….. really anything about Anubis, so a team up could be an interesting possibility

I decided to use my blog for personal rants. Pt 1

I get rubbed the wrong way when Kaveh is depicted and made to act in ways that reduces him to a character trope. Take a wild guess which trope I'm thinking of－ yup, you guessed it: The fragile womanlike sub trope.

Other examples: Kakyoin in some jotakak depictions and patroclus (song of achilles ☠️ no amount of mental gymnastics can change my fucking like ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ "I'm not achilles pet bunny anymore" you still are and have always been)

Bunny!Narancia likes too run away from you so you have to chase him down. He also likes to eat your hair when your asleep. While Bunny!Kakyoin loves to be carried by you and loves it when you give him baths and use cherry scented shampoo. Also sometime you find Cat!Abbacchio trying to clean Bunny!Narancia by licking his fur. And now im thinking of all of the UwUs.

Bunny Kak is going to be the nicest smelling thing on the farm right beside Goat!Melone and Cat!Illuso and Shiba!Josuke, those little divas. and hNNGN YES, Abba being a concerned dad, i love it. the first time you see Bunny Nara between Abba’s paws you got really scared but now, you just love seeing them together. Abba is protective over Nara and sometimes Bruno turns into his human form so he can dote on Abba and Nara with you uwu
