The officer just shooting at Buffy in Becoming Part 2….very on brand. Homicide suspect with absolutely no proof besides her being at the crime scene. She’s literally there mourning Kendra and asking if Xander is ok when you idiots arrive. Can we talk about how the writers did NOT fuck with police at all? Remember their aptitude exams and how horrified Buffy was at being suggested Law Enforcers? And Xander’s police brutality joke?LMAO I love it.

i’m obsessed with this clarification with little eyebrow raise for emphasis. like oh you mean before buffy summers, my wife, asked me to move in with her? yeah i lived somewhere else before buffy told me to move into her house with her where she lives. i live with her now though. at her house. she asked me to.
and then buffy goes and calls his crypt COMFY<3 and his brain, absolutely on its last crackling little circuit, shorts out entirely.

Anya and Spike should have interacted and bonded more. They're both killers who had their ability to kill stripped away and basically had to go "ok so now what?". They tried to get their abilities back and failed. So now they're trying to be good because, well what else is there to do? Then they start to do good because they actually want to. They're both kind of on the outskirts of the gang, only tolerated because someone they love happens to be there. I think they're dynamic would have been fun to explore.

spuffy are the perfect couple because they are both the definition of “if my mouth doesn’t say it, my face will”

Spike: Buffy and I aren't formally engaged, but we're totally engaged to be engaged to be engaged. And that's on a need-to-know basis.
Clem: does Buffy know?
Spike: Why would Buffy need to know!?!
