Marauders during New years/new years eve

James- chomping down his grapes, told everyone to leave him alone till he was done cuz he had to concentrate. Took shots with padfoot at around 8-9 pm. Has been sipping on some alcohol beverage while socializing. Is the one hosting. Wearing red underwear. Cleaned the whole house, has cash in random places.

Padfoot- Took a shower at 7, got ready, took shots with James, has been taking shots with the girls and sipping on a drink while getting ready. Is ready at 8:30-9. Is forced by James to do the grapes, acts like it's ridiculous, all his wishes are very thought out, takes longer than all of them though.

Remus- smoked a joint with Peter, Evan, barty and Pandora. Took shots with Pete , Mary and lily. Ate when they got there and watched pads get ready. Talked with the girls with pads in his lap. Eats grapes, only says a few wishes with his grapes, mostly just eats them. Hated on the music a bit, took a handful of songs out and added some when lily looked away.

Peter- brought some alcohol, brought funny lil hats. Nibbled on food while socializing. Wore green underwear. Has done the grape thing since he went to a new Year's party at James. Flirts with some girl he meets, one of Mary's friends.

Lily- is wearing a headband thing with happy new year! On it. She is helping padfoot get ready and gossiping with the girls. She helps make some food and takes care of the playlist. She ends up getting Pandora's glasses.

Pandora and reg are on the couch passing the left over joint, reg was forced to wear a party hat by Pandora. Pandora is wearing those silly glasses that says the new year. Pandora is in this silver dress that looks like tinsels. Reg Helped James and Sirius set the party up. Oh uh reg secretly does wish for a bunch of stuff with his grapes but acts like he didn't. Pandora just wishes for all her friends to be happy.

Mary- gossiping with lily, pads and marlene. Helped make jello shots. Helps fix makeup on anyone who needs it. Brought her boyfriend to kiss at 12. Has added a few songs to the playlist when lily got distracted. Doesn't like grapes!??

Marlene- brought jello shots with Mary. Chilling with Sirius, mostly quiet but compliments everyone's outfit. Eats the grapes, forgets to make wishes until the last two. She dances with Sirius most the night. Comes out to the living room and chills on the couch with everyone. Definitely argued about the music with lily and Remus.

Dorcas- brought some dessert from the store. Takes a few shots for the fun but mostly stays sober. Hangs with reg and Pandora for a bit before hanging out with marlene outside. The first time she does the grape thing, isn't sure what to wish for exactly. Also questions if the wishes happen in order. Overthinks it a bit.

Evan and barty don't leave each other's side. Literally go to the bathroom together. Probably took something BFR the party. Drink a bit and eat a bit while dancing and socializing. Brought some substances if anyone wanted any. Chomped on the grapes under the table together. Barty ate any fallen grapes while Evan wrinkled his nose in disgust.

The prewett twins brought alcohol and invited a lot of people. (After midnight!)

These are all the characters I could think of at the moment, if u have another character lemme know who and I'll do them as well!! :)

Also quick explanation! Wearing certain colored underwear is this new Year's Eve/new year thing. Ex; if you wear red underwear you are trying to bring love into your life. And the grape thing, you get twelve grapes, twelve wishes. You eat them as soon as it turns twelve and try to finish it BFR 12:01. Oh and cleaning the house and stashing money everywhere is supposed to bring you wealth and good things or whatever.

hi bella!!! you seem extremely cool too and i'm always happy to talk about my favorite boy!!!

i am and always will be a trans reggie truther; walburga and orion wish they could think of a name as cunty as regulus arcturus. the first time he cut his hair short he told sirius he wanted to look just like him <3 sirius didn't realize at the time it was because regulus is trans but he was absolutely the first know and accept him. even when their relationship was at their worst he never misgendered or deadnamed him and would beat the shit out of transphobes

the sorting hat wanted to put regulus in hufflepuff because of his loyalty, hard-working nature, and dedication but regulus begged to be put in slytherin. after seeing what sirius went through for being placed in gryffindor he was terrified of what his parents would do if neither of their children were placed in slytherin.

he became seeker during his second year and was extremely nervous to be on a team of mostly older students. dorcas pretty much immediately became his friend so he could have someone on the team. once she got to know regulus and how snarky and funny he was they became very close friends. they're the only quidditch players in their friend group and are VERY intense about it.

autistic regulus!!! making friends can be difficult for him because he really struggles with social cues. he also has a tendency to avoid eye contact and genuinely doesn't enjoy general small talk. people tend to think it's because he's rude because of it and even when he gets older it's hard for him to mimic allistic social norms. the wizarding world doesn't really consider autism a thing and even sirius just describes his brother as being shy and standoffish but well-intentioned. remus clocks him as autistic after knowing him for like ten hours lmao

close friends with miss lily evans herself!!! they both relate over their parents preferring their older sibling and feeling like their older sibling is embarrassed by them. younger lily doesn't get along with the gryffindor girlies well because of her friendship with snape and disdain towards the marauders leaving her getting snubbed. regulus being straight to the point with her and not getting easily offended is a much needed change in the people she spends time with. regulus is also an extremely empathetic person and doesn't get easily overwhelmed by lily's loud anger and bitter frustration

eventually lily does mouth off to sirius and reveal that regulus worries he's a burden and embarrassment to sirius which leads to an extremely emotional conversation. sirius loves regulus exactly as he is and wants to protect him from their parents but he's not embarrassed by him at all. he just worries that the things that make regulus who he is, being trans and autistic, might put him in their parents line of fire

his very first relationship is with barty ofc and they experience most of their firsts together! eventually they decide they're better off as friends and have a very amicable split. barty ends up dating evan but remains super protective of regulus. evan isn't threatened at all and feels equally protective because they know how bad reg's home life is. they might not be able to protect him from walburga and orion but they can definitely beat the shit out of snape for calling regulus a freak!!!

obviously he's endgame with james!!! regulus has a crush on him first year but sirius and his friends are assholes to the slytherins so it gets less intense. the first time james hears regulus infodump on thestrals he thinks regulus is the smartest and most passionate person he's ever met. regulus also really sees through the "perfect son, student, and friend" mask james' puts on and encourages him to not prioitize making everyone else happy all the time over his own happiness and well-being. james isn't used to people seeing him so clearly and it's both intimidating and awe-inspiring.

remus and regulus both have wands of cypress and unicorn hair!!! they definitely crushed on each other at some point during their time at hogwarts and i'll accept no criticism on this take

regulus is only like 5'6 and skinny but he has a bit of an intimidating aura that makes him seem bigger!!! he's not one to start a fight by any means but he's got a quiet confidence about him. he knows he's extremely intelligent and skilled so why bother being modest about it?

HELLO fine people, I have some more Regulus Black Headcanons! He’s my boy and I’m still a sad lesbian who cares about him more than life!

-he was actually a fairly good swimmer, grew up next to a lake and swam with sirius all the time

-didn’t move to london until he was 9, spent most of his childhood in france, and they continued to speak french often at home

-would’ve done literally anything for his friends. anything.

-a horrible driver. this one stems from ahb! but regulus black could not drive well and it was really bad

-pandora was the first person he kissed

-knew barty and evan before hogwarts, they were already close friends when they went to hogwarts. if we use the hc that pandora was evans twin, then they knew pandora too, but met dorcas in hogwarts

-the sorting hat really did think about putting him into ravenclaw. as i said in my last one of these, it’s only due the blood supremacist thing he was sorted into slytherin

-he was an excellent liar. he could get himself out of anything if he could talk for long enough

-he liked oranges and hated bananas

-loved to dance. when he was alone, he could dance for hours

-he warned sirius as best he could when sirius got kicked out. reg had overheard his parents talking about it and he went to sirius, but sirius just snapped at him

-his animagi form would either be a raven, cat, or fox, same with his patronus

-he could cast fiend fire. it was a trait of the black family especially, since they were some of the most powerful wizards. the potter family could also cast it, they just never really knew

-would sometimes cast spells in french to catch people off guard

-had a collection of random things he found interesting, cut outs from magazines, movie tickets his friends gave him, bottle caps, safety pins, anything like that

-would’ve gotten along excellently with hermione, due to them both being in favour of house elf rights

-was with barty for a short time before he was with james

-after his death, he watched over james and lily

-would have quite literally screamed at draco for making the same mistakes he did

-of his cousins, he was definitely closest to narcissa

-french vanilla ice cream lover

-had a habit of breaking quills. not that he was clumsy, but he wrote too fast and pushed too hard, resulting in him snapping far too many quills

I’m the queen of having differing opinions to the main fandom but whats the thoughts on scouse Lily, whos a bit rough, and who loves her muggleborn herritage?

James who speaks proper posh English (Not as posh as sirius, but still pretty bad), teasing the wide eyed, tiny, ginger girl on the train. and she gets sick of his shit so she tells him to fuck off and flips him the bird and instantly hes in love because hes never heard a girl swear before not even in primary school.

And finally when they’re dating after years of tip toeing round eachother and they’re the school power couple, all the lower years think, its James the quidditch captain looking out for his short little nerdy girlfriend. but all the upper years know that James might jinx you, but Lily’s got one hell of a right hook, no magic needed.

Also, just in general, chatty Lily, Girly Lily, Lily who wears full length kahkis, long sleeves and a ridiculous hat to the beach because shes ginger and if the sun knows that shes gone outside she Will feel its wrath. Yeah shes academic, and gets the grades, but she also wakes up late because her, Mary and Marlene were up all night gossiping and smoking and trying out some hair curling trick Mary saw in a magazine that went disastrously wrong. Lily who wears tight skirts and tops that are definitely too low cut and has a pile of detentions because of dress code. Lily who is flirty with everyone, especially when Severus is watching because hes been pissing her off lately. Lily who sticks chewing gum under the desk when the teacher isn’t looking, who passes notes to Mary and Marlene about how hot the new potions master is. Lily who didn’t do her homework (again) and at this point she cant even be asked to come up with an excuse, but the teacher still gives her one more day to hand it in because despite the seeming lack of effort shes top of the class.

Lily who perms her hair, Lily who wears bright red lipstick and kisses everything to leave her mark. Lily who smokes too much, Lily who cant cook for love nor money, who doesn’t make the bed, who’s obsessed with romance books and just wanting a Mr Darcy but shes stuck with a Potter (Not that shes complaining, I mean, he hasn’t been that annoying since third year, its more just a running joke now)

Lily telling Severus whats fucking what. Finally after years of him looking down on her because of her accent, and her hobbies that he thinks are beneath her, because shes muggleborn, because shes Gryffindor. After standing up to everyone who picked on Snape over the years, even when he started it, She finally turns around and tells him to get a new fucking guard dog.

Idk I just dont vibe with sweet, naive Lily from Surrey

Also since Harry only knowing Petunia he grows up thinking Lily must be similar - well spoken, upper middle class. And he gets a shock when Remus tells him about how she could drink him under the table, that she punched Barty Crouch Jr for calling her a mudblood, and got arrested by muggle police for flashing people on the M25. James Potter might have been a prankster but Lily Evans was a God Damn menace.
